Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill in Belleville

Noting our experience with our server was very different from other servers at other tabkes, Not attentive, or detail orientated. Drinks were flat, food was greasy, cold or missing items listed on menu. Menu isnt anything exciting or things you can get elsewhere, but that was expected with the chain. Lots of parking. Vegetarian options: Limited options, marked with V on menu Dietary restrictions: Would recommend, The kitchen struggled with basic adjustment (dont add this topper) to make a meal safe. Came to table twice before correct, COLD 3rd time. Embarrassing.

Had put my nose up for the roasted beets and goat cheese salad, just to find out that it was taken off the menu. So bad because that was really a nice fresh salad, I enjoyed in Toronto, while waiting to see a ballgame. Everything is fried, fried and fried and it s rare to find a vegetarian alternative, when you go to places like this. But anyways, Shoeless Joe s SportsGrill offer a few vegetarian alternatives. I went with the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. The bun was stale, the veggie patty was very soft and mushed apart, while cutting it. The fries could definitely have been bigger instead of super thin and please, seasoning the food. It had no taste. I ended up ordering a garden salad and asked for olive oil on the side. Got some regular tasteless oil and the salad had once been fresh.. This is the second time I have visited one of the Shoeless Joe s Sports Grills. One super good experience in Toronto and one less good experience in Belleville. So that leads me to give it one more try, before I exclude the franchise from my book.

I was there on Wednesday and i think someone spit in my food, i felt so discussed and i cant stop thinking about it, i didnt do anything to anyone for me to deserve this kind of treatment, trust me when i tell you that ill never come there ever again The photo was from a screenshot from the video i made of my meal that nite.

Had lunch with my wife today at this restaurant good service and good food not from the area and we re very happy with everything..2 salads 2 chicken kabob wraps and great service

It was terrible food was freezing my poutine was stuck to the bottom of my plate my chicken fingers were like ice and the people I was with got a bacon cheeseburger and asked for just mayonnaise the cheese and the bacon and got everything on it instead my sisters salad dident come with parm and it still costed 85.00 don t recommend

Food arrived with the stuff that was meant to be hot, slightly warm and the stuff that was meant to be cold, at room temperature. Fries were terrible because cold, but the chicken tender batter and sauce were good but also just barely warm. Service was slow but courteous. Prices fair. Cool 90s hits music. Clean bathrooms but with the worst type of hand dryers possible: Dyson air blades. Easy parking next to a strip mall.

We had some drinks on a sunday late evening, the ambiance was awesome. Had a free drink from another customer!! The smile of the waitress makes you want to come again. Enjoy the place, will be back for sure!!

Well I feel we were being chased out last night apparently they had a deal with Sean Kelly so while we were there they started rearranging the tables and chairs all around us and I certainly didn t want to sit in there and listen to any liberal mumbo jumbo so we left

Since Chucks Roadhouse quit making the best fish Tacos this place is the next best Ive found and the garlic dill fries are so delicious

Not sure where to start. Dropped in last night for a quick bite as we were hungry. First of all I will say we had great service from the server. We ordered 2 meals. Chicken tenders were very dry and overcooked almost burnt. The chicken sandwich was the same dry, overcooked and hard. Last few bites were not even edible. My fries were stone cold while my wifes were nice and hot and freshly cooked. The coleslaw was warm and not fresh. The food to say the least although edible it was really below average. Quite dissapointed as the meal could have been great if it was simply prepared and served properly. This restaurant clearly does not have proper cook checking whats going out and being served. To top it all off my meal had a large corner piece of a hard plastic bag in the coleslaw. Its clear here in the pic of my meal. How the heck does that get into someones coleslaw and then end up on someones plate! Luckily I didnt choke on it! I am giving them a 3 star rating but only because my server was good. The food here is very sub standard. We wont return.

Ali our server was amazing and had patience dealing with 40 immature 50 yr olds on a golf trip. Always great food and service thanks again.

Ate there yesterday. $19.00 for a pound of wings. Really!! Wont be back

Good place to eat and drink a beer

Service is non existent, food was cold. Location was great before the Trenton restaurant opened. Was here with a big group and only half the table was served, was very disappointed.

Great place for a pint and some wings, but thats where it stops. Menu is very plain and unappealing. Went for lunch, ended up having only drinks then left to have lunch elsewhere nearby.

Enjoyed Baja chicken here with side salad. Delicious Try this place out !

Very good. I had a delicious buffalo chicken wrap, and the wife had the fish taco,with sweet potato fries that she enjoyed.

Amazing food, amazing service, zero wait time for food and it was delicious.

Ordered 3 things and all 3 were wrong. Very cold inside as it was night and was wide open. Ordered hot wings and got some yuky garlic tasting orange butter sauce. I told waitress this is not hot sauce she said ya I m sure it is. I m a fat guy I know wings no it s not zero heat kinda gross.. ordered a wrap that came out with zero sauce in it had to take it apart and add it after. Also ordered nachos to share came out ice cold so send back. Came out hot but disgusting and soft with not melted real cheese but what seemed like gross melted cheese wize poured on it disgusting. Worst part is all the lid bad food was the most expensive place I ve been to in the area.

5 mins in establishment another patron faint and pukes on my wife and another member of our party , guy was high as a kite and they just went on like nothing happened , staff needs to be retrained on smart serve and when to cut customers off , absolutely disgusted in this establishment, very quickly turned shoeless joes into my most hated restaurant from my favorite one

Went to SJ Belleville tonight with my 9 year old. Michelle was our server. She was fantastic. She encouraged my daughter, helped her pick food, brought her extra paper for coloring and was generally the nicest server Ive had in a while. I would come back to this location just to sit in her section. So would my daughter, who drew a picture of Michelle! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and crayons. How can you go wrong?

I ordered dinner online (through their website) around 8:55pm. Once I got home, I realized they forgot my Cesar salad. I tried phoning the restaurant immediately (about 15min later), there was no answer. Their hours were until 12am, so I drove back to the restaurant. There was a sign on the door that said closed early for inventory Honestly the chicken was pretty dry too. Disappointing.

I don t recommend anyone going here. The restaurant was understaffed and had one server working in entire restaurant. The server seated us at a table and never saw them again. The Chef had to come out and take our ordered and drinks and serve the food. We waited 10-15 minutes just to receive our bill and pay. We finally had enough and went and payed at the front desk. We probably could have gotten away with walking out and not paying as they wouldn t have noticed lol but we didn t. Unbelievable!

Waited 30 minutes at a table before anyone even talked to us. Nobody knew who our server was and so nobody helped us. Drink sat empty on the table while we were actively ignored by all the staff. The manager was very rude to his staff. We were told no discounts for the poor service.

Had a less than enjoyable first time meal experience here - table of 4. The philly steak sandwich was lukewarm with barely any toppings, most of our fries were soggy, the chicken tenders NOT tender, the dipping sauces gelatinous, and the burgers overcooked. Our meals were served more than an hour after ordering. The 3 different appetizers we ordered NEVER arrived despite apologies for the delay (a good thing considering the quality of food that followed - saved us money). Our waitress was very kind and apologetic for the kitchen delays - my review does not reflect her effort. The meal quality and serving portions made this an overpriced evening out that I wish I had avoided. First and last impression of the establishment... the exterior of the main entrance... smoking permitted in front of the door with cigarette butts littering the ground. Additionally, a poorly laid entrance mat that we almost tripped over.

Terrible experience went in with a few friends Wednesday night, we were one of the only tables in the restaurant. Waitress was extremely rude she never said hello, introduced herself or asked how our night was going. All she said what what do you want. I asked her what beers they had on tap and she said I need your id. This was before she even told me the options. I am 21 btw and would give her my id no problem. After giving her my id I asked her to repeat the list because she was talking very quickly and she opened the menu and pointed to the drinks which I felt was very rude. I ordered my drink and she never came back to see if my friends needed anything else or if we wanted to order food which was the whole reason why we came in. We sat there for over 20 minutes waiting to order. She came back to give us the bills when we put out coats on and were standing around the table. We ended up ordering a pizza and going home. Very dissatisfied and will not be returning to the bellivile location.

Awful experience. We were the only table the rest were staff drinking at the bar. My friends and I went Wednesday night for some food and drinks. Waitress was rude asking for my friend s id s and we sat there for over 20 minutes with 2 drinks finished our drinks waitress never bothered to come ask us if we were ready to order or anything. May I add we were the only table. We would keep looking at her trying to get her attention but she simply ignored us and talked to other customers instead. She was rude to us but she went over to the other two gentleman sitting at the bar and was all respectful and kind as could be.Worst experience ever definitely will not be returning.

Me and my 2 friends went in at 10:50pm on Wednesday. I was on the phone when we were getting seated so my friend started talking with our server and asked her what they have on tap. Instantly she was like I m gonna need to see ID and looked at my other friend who is underage. My other friend hadn t even said a word since we sat down and she didn t intend on drinking or asking for any alcohol I asked both of my friends for her name and she hadn t said her name she didn t even say hello just came up to the table and stood there, when no one said anything she just said what do u want, no introduction. She had also asked my other friend if we were getting food and my friend said probably, we want to look at the menu first. After my friends got their drinks she didn t come back for more than 20 minutes. We were the only table there, there were 6 people at the bar and she was very nice to them, she checked on them every 5 minutes. The only reason she decided to bless us with her presence again is when she saw us getting up to leave. I ve been here twice before and the servers were great. Don t know what happened or changed but the service was horrible.

Staff never gives you back your change everyone I know that had gone here this is the Norm like its taught to them all. Then you ask for your change the act appalled all say oh I thought you meant for me to keep it and take a very long time to bring the change back like their hoping you will just leave.

Hate to post this but .... not sure why the owner picked on my fiance and her sister for being too loud during the super bowl while multiple grps of men are shouting and roaring throughout the game (this superbowl everyones loud idc) feels like sexist behavior. food was sub par. my meal had barely a full skewer. and hard liquor alcohol was definitely stiffened. waitresses were amazing though. I hope this establishment treats them like gold. use to love this place. we wont be back.

POOR service it is 14th feb . I ve been to this restaurant but today it was the worst dealing i have ever recieved The girl working at the front desk looks at me in such a way that i seems homeless to her . I was sitting there waiting for my order i was almost 20 mins for a single order . She made me away from the chair i was sitting at to serve other guests even though there were many empty table where she could let them have a seat . These kind of disgusting racist peaople can t make their own country go ahead . She was looking disgusting after all No dressing sense Wearing a pink jacket and half open and the bra was visible .. Some one ask its manager is this their dress code and guest service .. POOR POOR POOR

Would not recommend. Went there for Valentines dinner before the Sens game. Got there at 520. By 6pm, we had 2/3 of our drinks. Ordered our food at the same time as our drinks. Proceeded to watch the place fill up and people that just arrived being served well before us. Finally got fed up. Demanded our bill for the two drinks, walked out after being there for an hour and 40ish mins with mediocre service at best. Would not recommend.

I came in tonight and had a wonderful experience! The waitress was such a happy, friendly, really good waitress! I had the best salad of my life (Boursin Strawberry Salad with Grilled Chicken) chef s kiss! For dessert I had the Cheesecake Xango OMG it was heavenly! My husband had his favourite Mac n Cheese! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Horrible, just horrible service & food. We ve spent over $500 here through Skip..each time the order is missing something. Finally called tonight to complain, which I don t normally do. Was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Hung up, called back and was told I d be transferred to a manager asap. On hold again for 5 min only to be told he wasn t available. $25 for this meal..which included cold, soggy rice, and no side salad. Don t waste your time or money ordering here..I ll take my business elsewhere. **edit**. Was promised after my second call last night that I d receive a call back from a manager later that night, or this morning. Still haven t heard from anyone. Worst customer service ever.

I ordered flatbread and found a hair in it and also ordered a burger which came with burnt chicken in it. Service is horrible we went and waitress did not even bother to ask us to have a sit or gave us menu. Just looking us with full of attitude. Disappointed will never visit again. Dirty cutlery and disgusting food.

My son and I were truly amazed!!! We went for a drive to see what was open Christmas day since it was just the 2 of us and we saw the Chinese buffet was open but kept driving. Lo and behold we stumbled upon a free turkey dinner served by lovely staff, with a most delicious cupcake as dessert and lindor chocolates Our tip went to the womens shelter they said! It was truly a very generous dinner out!!! I had no idea it was what they offered and we were # 500+ at around 5pm....AMAZING

Good little establishment for watching sports and having some well-priced drinks and wings

My first time at Shoeless Joes and was not sure about the menu as I never went online to check it out. It was boxing day at 7:30 pm. It had far longer hours to stay open that evening. Decided for the dining room as apposed to the bar. I ordered fish and chips with white wine. Service was reasonably fast and not too loud being a sports bar. There on business, mainly before flying out to Pituffik Greenland. It was a filling meal and slept well after. Parking: Close to a vast variety of other amenities.

Wow really amazing. The owner Alex is a GEM and the servers are AMAZING. The atmosphere is so so so great. It felt like I was hanging out with friends. We came here for my boyfriends birthday. Next time we come to Belleville, we are coming back here. The wings were BUSSIN the drinks were TASTY and April is the best

What a treat! Traveling on Christmas Day and forgot that most places would be closed. Shoeless Joes was not only open but they were serving Christmas dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and even had cupcakes for dessert!! FOR FREE!!! Thanks so much for the blessing!!!

Update: I recently tried again. Got to the front counter and waited about 10 minutes. Nobody noticed I was there during that time so I left. ------------------------------------------ Havent been back since I realized how careless they were during the worst of covid. They werent even wearing masks in the restaurant.

Tried to get a table on a busy Saturday night, and was willing to wait. Very poor service from the hostess who basically laughed at me and told my husband and I there are no tables. I asked to be put on a wait list and she just excused me, and said there isnt one. There were a couple of groups of people who she also turned away while we stood deciding what to do.

Sat at the bar and still waited at least 5 minutes to get a drink when they ran out and it wasnt even busy.

The bartender and waiter were great but the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich I received was disgusting soo salty and the breading was almost 3cm thick I have had it from other locations and is great except this one

Quick and very pleasant service from competent efficient waiting staff, the souvlaki chicken bowl was delicious, satisfying, I ordered a second skewer of chicken. It s a casual setting.

If I could describe this place in one word it would be bland. We came here for dinner on a Thursday evening and there were 3 tables with people. That should have been the first clue. Its unfortunate but the food sucks. I had a pulled pork sandwich per the waitresses suggestion and the bun looked like it had been on the floor, behind the fridge, for a month. The chicken on the flatbread had definitely seen better days as well. Just another Belleville disappointment

When this place was new the food was fresh and awesome and the atmosphere was decent. Last two visits I was unimpressed with the food quality and the place seems Dungey and seats are worn. My bruchetta Flatbread was weirdy spicy and Flatbread seemed stale and tomatoes seemed old. My friend ordered wings and the side carrot stick and celery were dark on the ends and pathetic looking. They werent eaten. If u just want to drink beer at the bar and chit chat with the other beer drinkers then I recommend this place. I wont be back. Next time ill go to Montanas down the road. The TVs are burnt out to so good luck watching the game.

When here for dinner chose the steak with fresh veg and the garlic parm lattice fries absolutely simple unique flavour for fries actually to me it was a new and different twist compared to the regular ketchup routine or the onion dip. Waitresses were very nice

The management kept us safe from all the young girls, the waitstaff were amazing and possibly the best shape in all Belleville. My drink stayed full and there wasnt a moment we didnt feel taken care of. Definitely our favorite night out.. thanks for taking such good care of us!

Had never been to an SJ before and was pleasantly surprised. Not typically a fan of franchise sports bars, but it was late and the pickings are slim in Bellevegas on a Monday night after 9pm! I brought a large group of friends from Europe and they absolutely loved the food and the vibe. I must say the wings were a 5/5 the buffalo butter and the Gochujang sauces were excellent but the fact the wings were cooked properly to crisp perfection made the night for me! the service was fast, attentive and welcoming all around. Compared to the absolute disaster Boston Pizza down the street is, if you re looking for good bar food and a place to enjoy the game with excellent service, you d be hard pressed to find something better late at night around here.

Thought it was over priced for the food....wasnt impressed with the quality of the food struggled to eat the chicken sandwich as it was two uneven pieces of chicken on a round bun that kept falling apart (frustrating and disappointing) their fish bowls are served in a plastic pitcher which was misleading. Personally Ive experienced it but wouldnt return.

Big menu, lots of TVs (even some of them are blue for whatever reason) and service was friendly. If you are looking to watch a game or have a pint or two this is a good place. They also have a DJ on Saturday

Never ate there before BUT my dad has, and brought home a burger to let me try and let me tell ya, that was THE BEST burger Ive ever eaten it didnt even need ketchup or mustard!!!! It was the peppercorn burger, now hes definitely gonna bring me one home no more chicken strips for me! But man that burger was so good, it was so juicy and FULL of flavour like I said it legitimately did not even need ketchup or anything just by itself was the best Ive ever had, fresh ingredients, killer bacon and not chewed up lettuce like McDonalds has, they got the REAL leaf lettuce its so good. Not only that but the bun!! The bun looked so cool like you see on TV and MAN was it good!!! Tho only issue I have not even with the burger but the chicken strips is theyre super super tiny :( I like their chicken a lot but for what I get theres barely enough to feed even me and Im a picky eater who doesnt eat much. Along with the burger that will DEFINITELY fill you lol, enough to be full but not enough to be overly full like when your tummy ends up hurting bc its so full like mine does so thats a massive plus! Like the Wendys Dave burger its juuuust enough to fill you perfectly! Ramble over lol I just had to write a good review after one singular bite man, thats all it took and thats saying something cuz I got ADHD and Im a super duper picky eater but man I cant stop thinking about that burger give the cook today my best regards and a massive pat on the back because they DESERVE IT!!!!!!

Our server was great but I have to comment on the manager, he was phenomenal, he took care of us immediately, checked on us through the dinner.. I watched him as he helped to support his staff, I dont know who owns the franchise but that guy is 1 in a million!

I recently stopped here with a friend as I was traveling through town. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left we had wonderful service. Comfortable chairs (What a treat!) And the congenial atmosphere made our stop perfectThe food was one of the best of our trip. I only wish I lived closer so I could go back sooner.

Stayed for 10-15 minutes and no one even took our drink order. There was only 2 tables with patrons when we arrived and 2 servers. This is amongst the worst services we ever had. We had eaten here in the past usually it was pretty good. Not sure if we would ever go back with so many other choices in town. We just left with out ever being served. Went to Boston Pizza got our drink order and appetizers taken immediately. Any where else is a better choice.

You will not be disappointed. For a chain restaurant they do it right. Service here is by far my favorite thing about this place. Fantastic sports bar atmosphere. On fridays and Saturdays they have a live DJ to play all your favourite tunes. You will not miss a game on one of their many TVs. Will be back here in a heartbeat.

Food was below average and fries smelled fishy!! Also, I ordered on their website for pickup. The wine I ordered was unavailable when I got there, so they offered me another bottle $10 cheaper but could not credit me the difference because online orders go thru corporate I contacted corporate directly for the refund of the difference and they replied: Your info was passed along to our head office. Never received my credit! Wont ever eat at a Shoeless again!

Located near my hotel, the Fairfield, I was able to walk there. I love this channel and know what to expect. As usual, I had a Hamburger, juicy and tasty. Nothing to complain about. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

The wait staff at this establishment are wonderful, seating is incredibly comfortable, good atmosphere, entertainment, and attentive wait staff.

We had a group of 40 kids and parents. The server was great, and the food was served very quick, considering the size.

Horrible. Advertise things on their menu they dont have. Dont order. Go to the store yourself. This was a waste of my money and time.

Was on end of summer family week away trip and ordered for the wife and I. Wife had Crispy Spicy Salmon bowl and loved it. Funnel Cake sticks- she loved them (scoop of ice cream in listing should be tea spoon or worlds smallest scoop) I ordered Rib combo with fries added chicken tenders it was $33 before tax and delivery etc Portion way too small for that price point. -Fries undercooked but were o.k -Ribs were tender and tasty -Chicken Tenders were anything but. WAY overcooked and couldnt be eaten, they were like chicken rocks and either sauce forgotten or chicken soaked it up being so dry. First time ordering there, and probably the last.

Noisy. Food was poor and also the service was poor

Stopped in late afternoon a couple weeks ago Bartender was visibly -very- high, and our conversation just reinforced that. During the ~20min we stayed, we saw two waitresses come and make subtle exchanges with this bartender, under the counter, or literally digging in each others pockets to make a trade. Passing by weeks later, we noticed the same staff. Not our kind of place.

Had the fish and chips. Great tasting and generous portion. Starter ceased salad was good too. The burgers are very good. Our service was fantastic.

Had a great time, owner is always kind to me. Thank you for the fun times!

Went for lunch today, we were looking forward to it. On our day off from our hospitality jobs. No greetings, miserable server, no one else was there, zero interaction. She dropped our beers with nothing, just clunk and walk. Figured if the cook was as disinterested we were in trouble so had half our beer and went to a nearby pub. She s in the wrong business.

Burger is tasty but really dry not enough condiments.

Service was terrible. Came on a Friday night with my wife ready to order drinks, watch sports and have some apps. We sat at the bar and were basically ignored by the two waitresses who spent most of their time checking their phones and taking to each other. We had to ask for menus after 10 minutes, sat with empty drinks numerous times and felt like we were inconveniencing the restaurant by being there. We watched numerous others with empty drinks leave in frustration as well. Great music, great food, but terrible service wrecked it. Should of taken a photo of the waitress standing for ten minutes on her phone.

It was very busy but we were able to get a seat right away. Service was good and so was the food.

The Food was super good! The restaurant was clean and seriously understaffed! The manager should give Sam C the waitress/ Bartender was flying around as she was the only staff on the floor. She was incredible keeping up with a full restaurant! Staying bubbly and kind the entire time. Thank you Sam for ensuring we had a great time with good food!

This place is weird, the food is good but the atmosphere feels strange. It looks like its trying too hard to be high class when youre looking for a place to watch sports. Food was good, but the Atmosphere isnt something I think Ill be returning to. Weird place.

We had a reservation for a large birthday and were assigned only one waitstaff, who struggled to keep up. Soft drinks a touch over carbonated. Food was too salty, pepper was crushed too large. Definitely a loud sports bar which isnt my preference.

Twenty of us easily accommodated, service excellent, food food too.

Great food and service

Quiet Thursday visit. Had the rack of ribs and it was awesome with the jack sauce. My friend had the burger and couldnt finish it. Deep fried pickles were awesome as well.

We went for a Christmas dinner with friends we had booked in advance and the putbus in a corner where there was pieces of wood o the floor no room to get around the table we got there at 8:30 pm we waited over an hour just to order dinner wait over another hour to get dinner we didnt get out of there till almost 1 am the food was disgusting the only good thing was the the pie and i am pretty sure it was a thaw and serve not even cooked there. I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone.

Okay, Ive given this place more than one chance but no more. It used to have decent food but for three dinners in a row the food has been horrible. Tonight, the burger was cold, the bun stale, and the fries either hard or soggy. No more. Seems like the chef is trying to recycle food to save money.

Stopped in for a quick beverage. Very overpriced and bartender has zero communication. Asked for a pint and got an overpriced half pint.

Went as part of the nhl alumni ,after the game long , long wait for food

Food was bland for the price and caused stomach discomfort. Servers were nice and attentive, though they didnt react to our obvious food dissatisfaction, didnt offer a box for large amount of leftovers.

To much money for a only ok meal, wait staff was excellent though

way too noisy... went with a group of friends there and we had to yell to hear each other and the waitress never asked us if we wanted food only what we wanted to drink and didnt even give us chance to look over the drink menu. Great environment for some but for me it wasnt a good experience, especially when in the end I wasnt even given the proper change back for what I had ordered
