Great quality sushi, friendly staff. The torched shrimp sushi is one of the best Ive tried anywhere. Will be back for more.

Very surprised of the quality of sushi! It was fabulous! Great variety of rolls... Unfortunately no GF soy sauce but Walmart was down the street.

Best sushi in Southern Ontario. Always fresh and well priced. I usually order every weekend for my friend and I. The asparagus and sweet potato roll is incredible along with everything else!

Booked AirBnB in Belleville called River Runs Through It , and the host strongly recommended Sushi Maru! Loooved it. Better than the ones I had in Toronto! Vegetarian options: Some of the dishes are vegetarian friendly. I eat fish as well. It s perfect for me!

I ordered bento1 and king spicy salmon roll. When i tasted 1 piece of my roll my taste buds were blow off. It was sooooooo tasty and fresh. I couldnt believe i was having this delicacy. The best sushi i ever had

Competitive prices and great food. My go to are dynamite roll, yam roll and avocado roll. always delicious! Tip: if you re pressed for time call in advance to place your order. My usual wait time is 20-25 since the rolls are made as they re ordered. Recommended dishes

Sushi Marus sushi is always fresh and delicious, but that is not the only reason I stop by when Im passing through Belleville. They have created a comfortable setting in a small space that is decorated with paintings made by the lovely woman behind the counter. My favourites are near the pick-up counter, they are like textures I find in nature

Tried for the first time yesterday afternoon. Owners/staff very helpful in choosing options and finding the best value between single rolls and platters. Rolls were very fresh and delicious. Definitely will be returning!

Ordered the 30 piece sushi platter. Rice is cooked perfectly, the spicy crab and salmon are mildly spiced and the shrimp tempura is fresh. Worth a visit for the first time and will definitely order again. Best to call ahead to order as well.

Absolutely blown away. We spent ninety something dollars on random stuff to share. Everything we got was amazing. The Takoyaki Balls might be my favourite. Also the atmosphere of this place is great. Felt like youre eating at a friends place. If youre in the area, this is a must.

Tiny little spot in a strip mall I found when out in quinte, and Im surprised how good it was. I love sushi and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I was sad about was lack of tuna options on menu, luckily they were having a spicy tuna special and thats my favorite! Thumbs up guys...good job

First Time at Sushi Maru - UNREAL. 1000% recommend. The special rolls are huge. My husband and I usually order about 6 rolls at our usual place and we did the same here but are taking home over 1/2 of our order. And the flavour of everything is amazing. Lovely service. Very fresh ingredients. It does say only Take out on the website but they let us eat in. Small space, 2 tables. Will be returning for sure!!!

Easily the best Sushi in Belleville. You can taste the quality in the ingredients they use. Friendly and hard working people. Noticed a few bad reviews. With 95% of people giving this place a positive and realistic review you can disregard the bad ones. Clearly the people giving bad reviews are hard to please and have nothing good going on in their lives. Highly recommend

Tried their rolls for the first time this week and was blown away by the quality. The rice was perfect, portion size was great for the price. Looking forward to trying more.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Belleville! Their sushi is fantastic (partner says the best he s ever had!) and I could probably eat their spicy pork every day. Highly highly recommend.

Pleasant surprise in Belleville. We stayed at an Air BNB near-by and was glad to find this gem. Sushi / Sashimi is on par with the good restaurants in Toronto. The Tonkatsu with curry dip was a real treat. Gave me flashbacks of my time spent in Japan. Solid choice for Japanese / Korean food when in town

Amazing sushi and great value. We ordered Bento Box and Avocado Sushi and they were both really good and authentic Japanese cuisine. The owners were both Japanese and knew how to make authentic sushi. Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian sushi such as avocado and cucumber

There is only takeout. We ordered a lot of things and everything was really delicious. Even vegetarian sushi with only 2 ingredients was surprising with its excellent taste.

I was not expecting to find great sushi in a tiny hidden restaurant in Belleville! Its a small menu, but they put a lot of love into even the simplest rolls. Looks like theyre only doing takeout right now.

My husband called and ordered a small platter for the two of us , was very very impressed. Ordering process was simple, and the woman working was very kind. Even got a 6th type of classic sushi roll and free spring rolls (delicious, thank you!!) Great portion sizes for what you pay as well. Had an entire custom platter made fresh in less than an hour, it was so cute. They were also very kind at pickup. By far the BEST sushi in the Quinte area.. Wont go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

We had Sushi Maru twice so far, and our experience was absolutely perfect. The sushi is delicious, this last time I tried the Maru Don bowl and that is probably the best bowl of rice Ive ever had. Rice had a perfect texture, the salmon was excellent and the flavours were just amazing. We will be back! Thank you!

Very good, nice and fresh, great presentation. The packaged soy sauce for takeout isnt the best I recommend buying the bottle of real stuff from the counter. My new go to sushi place.

Excellent sushi always very fresh and nothing doesn t taste good. They are super friendly and super good and what they do. My favourite place to get sushi when in Belleville. I will also make special drives from 2 hours away just for their sushi when I haven t had it for too long.

Great food. yam and avocado roll were a surprise, they were amazing. Tonkatsu had great flavors and was well balanced so tasty. Definitely going back here as much as I can Would add pictures but food disappeared too soon. will take pictures next time (if I can)

Was very generic food, but service was good.

They are not a nice restaurant because I am deaf communication them. The first time, I am buying sushi, they are said waiting for 3 between 4 hours, I accept it I am hungry to buy food. Second, another day I went to again buy but they are bullying me. I am disappointed with them. No respect and they are not good services. Please dont buy it never back it.

We love this place! Staff are very pleasant, happy to see us and quick with our order. There is no room to dine-in but patio has two tables and is easily accessible. Menu is limited but has all the main favorites and food is very fresh and high quality. Tempura shrimp is light, crispy and not greasy. The best value for your money is to order one of the Roll Trays. By far the cheapest sushi in town!!

Wonderful traditional sushi place, glad I went here when I was in town for the day! It was a clean and welcoming place. The sushi was very fresh and the owners definitely know what they are doing. I had the Dynamite roll, Black Dragon and Salmon sushi which were all very delicious. I particularly recommend the Black Dragon roll . Ill definitely visit here again the next time Im in Bellville.

This is a nice little restaurant off the highway in Belleville. The sushi tastes great and the workers are friendly. I highly recommend the Crab Salad Roll and Black Dragon Roll.

Had some wonderful assorted rolls and tonkatsu when I was there, especially enjoyed the latter. Very well cooked and tender meat with delicious crispy bread batter coating it with curry sauce on top. It opened just recently but the food is fantastic, give it a try!

One of the best sushi places in town. Went here for the first time tonight and I am above and beyond satisfied. Way better pricing than the Kumo Sushi and Toro Sushi. Super clean inside and it seemed to be a husband and wife duo. Very small company that I was more than happy to support with my order over the bigger sushi place down the road. Will be going here from now on. Found our fav sushi spot!!
