Very good service and the best fried squid we have eaten served with three mayonnaises including one with truffle which is excellent. The pizza is excellent too.

In short, The food was horrible, only the soup was acceptable, and that s it.

Disappointing experience. We had made reservations in advance, but our table was not ready at the scheduled time, and the hostess was condescending, even rolling her eyes. The atmosphere was very noisy, which didnt help. As for the pizza, it was soggy from the condiments. The pasta lacked flavor, with no seasoning to spice up the dish. Fortunately, our waitress was very pleasant and did her best to improve the experience. Unfortunately, I will not return there

Reservation at 7:30 p.m. but placed at 7:50 p.m. The Donuts (dessert) tasted like breading. Prosciutto pizza: too much arugula which masks the taste of the other ingredients.

We had good service during our visit. Warm atmosphere and not too noisy despite the traffic. The portions are very generous and tasty, although a little salty! We had the ravioli and the carni pasta. As a starter, the scallops. Great experience in general, we will definitely return!

I really appreciated the warm atmosphere of this restaurant, with its open kitchen which allows you to observe the cleanliness and the work of the cooks. The welcome and service were generally good, although there were some areas for improvement in terms of customer attention. As for the food, everything was impeccable: the mushroom soup was sublime, both in taste and presentation, and the charcoal pizza was tasty, even if a little large for a single person. I also liked the wine and beer list. However, I noticed that the waitresses mostly spoke to my wife, even when billing, which made me feel a bit left out. I also would have appreciated being more proactively offered to add my wifes cocktail to my bill. Furthermore, a more open and warm response would have helped me better appreciate the recommendations, for example, when it came to adding parmesan to my soup. Overall a pleasant experience, but adjustments in customer focus could really make a difference.

What a disappointment! Group of 10, reservation at 7 p.m., we arrive on time, the table is not ready and we wait 20 minutes huddled in the small entrance. We received our dishes at 9 p.m.!! We can understand that you are in trouble. But I like carbonaras, you notice that they are made with cream (a crime for the Italians) but Ill give it a try. Where is the garlic, the parmesan, the pepper? (hence its name carbonara). And even salt? It was tasteless, the pancetta was tough and it didnt fly higher than the jars of sauce from the grocery store. My neighbor said that luckily her pasta dish had olives because it was flavorless either. Anothers pizza had lots of white flour underneath. We waited 2 hours for that. We screamed for parmesan and pepper which finally arrived as the pasta was cooling. Shouted because the cacophony and the number of decibels was staggering in the place. We couldnt hear the waitress and she couldnt hear us either. It would have been like La Cage aux Sports during the cup final without the screens. The cuisine may be WOW for those accustomed to hospital cafeterias without spices and American tourists who know the roadside Olive Gardens, but I admit that you made me miss the Da Giovanni at the Catherine , that says it all. We would have been better with the chain which also makes submarines, cheaper and faster for the same thing. There are restaurants, like politicians, who do not fulfill their promises but who increase the bill with beautiful decoration on top to make it pass. It wasnt worth the price or the wait. Nice terrace, big portions, that must be what works. After two hours we were hungry and deaf. We expected much better than sloppy food and service for around $70 per person. We skipped coffee and dessert. Ill say it again; disappointing.

Much too long to get served. Its been 1h30 and still not received our dishes. In the end after 1h40 of waiting the taste wasnt even worth the wait NEVER again and it was cold sitting 4 steps from the front door

Surtout, il faut mentionner quil y a des guêpes partout, même à lintérieur, elles tournent autour des tables et des assiettes, cest dégueulasse. I come from the US to visit family in Montreal regularly and try to accommodate a dinner at Le Mista during my stay. Although I had only been to the St Bruno location, last night we were in Beloeil and that location is equally fantastic. Outstanding service and the food is exquisite.

We had a very bad first experience at this restaurant, in terms of organization. We made a reservation, and sat outside (we were told that there was a possibility that there would be no room to go back inside if it rained). However, a few minutes after arriving we notice there are wasps, so we choose to go inside with our young baby. Well there is no more room, but the restaurant is 3/4 empty, they withdrew our reservation and bang, there was no room... Very disappointing customer experience! Afterwards, the restaurateurs complain when people cancel their reservations last minute but thats how we treat those who are there... Very annoying!

I was there, following comments during a visit to old Beloeil. We were not disappointed. Good dough and good pizza. EXCEPT the cooking of the pizza which should have been more done. From our point of view, there was a lack of cooking.

Phew! There is a lack of coordination / a real butler in this place. There are a lot of employees but they go around in circles without having anything to do. We went there on a Monday evening and the service was pitiful. We waited over two and a half hours before getting our food. We were next to reception and there was a flurry of complaints about the slowness of the service. I returned my beer and it was hot. They continued to serve it to everyone (the barrel was room temperature). I find it a lack of respect for customers.

My partner and I had the ravioli with truffles and beef juice, what good, this type of meal is more suitable for winter because it is quite heavy. We ordered a good vegetarian pizza but nothing more...In short, the service was friendly but very slow, good portion, no need for a starter otherwise you will exploded...In short, a pleasant evening. $127 for 2 with wine.

On the other hand, the Ricotta and truffle Ravioli with braised beef is a must. To start again and again. In short, Le Mista is the best restaurant in the region. What a wonderful little restaurant! The portions are generous, the presentation worthy of a great 5 star and the menu exquisite. Plus the service was simply perfect! Warm without being familiar. The only downside is very noisy. There were a lot of people, which is understandable, but the music was loud and not relaxing . If this last point doesnt bother you, dont miss the opportunity to be totally seduced! I recommend the duck salad and for dessert the poutine (a must). Enjoy your food!

Great food and ambience, a bit busy though.

We went for the first and last time to this restaurant in Beloeil on January 4. We were 6 adults. 5 ordered different pizzas and one a pasta dish and wine. Although the restaurant was crowded and seemed like the perfect meeting place, we really werent impressed with the meals chosen. Even though the pizzas were baked, the crust was oil soaked, difficult to cut and lacking in flavor. We had to ask for spices and parmesan to correct the problem, but without much success. The one who ordered the pasta dish returned it to the kitchen. It was bland and really lacked any spice. Too bad because the atmosphere of the restaurant was rather nice. When the table attendant asked us if we enjoyed our meal and we told her that we were disappointed, she just said she was sorry, nothing more. Perhaps that evening, the chef was not in his right mind (no pun intended), which would explain why we were not impressed by the quality of the meals. For these reasons we have no intention of returning there again.

noisy, slow service... ordered 2 pizzas for the two of us, watched one sit on the pick up counter for minimum 20 minutes, then when the second one came out the server brought them both over...these were thin crust so one was stone cold by this time....server argued that its not possible it sat there for that long...i am 8 feet from it, i can see it...she offered to put it back in the oven, but it was already slightly burnt so no point to that....offered to get another one, but at this point weve already been there nearly two hours, ....why bother....at the end, the server gave me a run down of what she had offered to replace the pizza, so i guess trying to justify her service and possible tip. ....so two pizzas, 2 martinis and a baileys, $155.00... total waste of time and money....

Great place for a family dinner at the beginning of January. Ideal location, in old Beloeil, a stones throw from the promenade on the banks of the Richelieu River. Chill atmosphere, we had reserved (highly recommended) at the start of the service, the place was full at the end of the meal, and our table was awaited. Warm welcome from the team and excellent service from Allison, thank you very much!! The cocktails are okay. I had the prosciutto pizza with gorgonzola and the addition of pears works to my surprise very well. The crust is excellent, no complaints. The whole table enjoyed themselves and had a pleasant time. I will consider a takeout order next time to compare. A summer visit to the terrace is also a must. Kid-friendliness: Menu and atmosphere. Preferably come at the start of the service.

It was so cold to eat the person next door kept their coat on for dinner and the bathroom was the north pole .. Good burrata but the pasta lacked taste

I absolutely hated my experience at this restaurant. First of all, my Calamari starter was very ordinary, served with three condiments, two of which were empty in the container. But where I was really disappointed with my experience was when I received my plate of pasta. Being served a Carbonara with so much cream is a real disaster. We dont taste anything, the plate is so heavy and tasteless. In their defense, my girlfriends pizza was good, as was my cocktail. The atmosphere, decor and lighting were nothing to please. A simple restaurant that I wont have trouble forgetting.

I love this place! The food is exceptional, the service is courteous and there is a beautiful lit terrace! The only weak point is that the restaurant is often crowded and the tables are very close together so you cant always hear each other talking.

First of all, I would like to apologize to the manager who is friendly and who took the trouble to come see me and apologize, he was not very convinced that the dishes were bad but I understand it given the good reviews received. A great discovery for us, Mista de Beloeil!! A big wow. Everything was perfect.

Came here tonight with my family and was very disappointed. I honestly don t even know where to start. The restaurant looks very fancy from the outside, and was very busy when we arrived. Everyone had high expectations based on the majority of reviews and the amount of people waiting for a table. As we had a reservation, we got our table right away. Once everyone arrived, we were given 2 menus for 8 adults and 6 kids and had to ask for extras. The staff was very friendly and kind, however we often had empty water glasses. Otherwise the service was fine. Once we ordered, we waiting about 1 hour for the appetizers. My partners father revived a vegetarian soup which we also had, which contained meat or animal product of some sort. After asking more than 3 times and showing the bits of meat, they insisted it was vegetarian even though it clearly had some sort of topping which contained meat, specifically porc which they do not eat. The children at the table received their appetizers, main dishes and desserts before any adults even received a main dish. Our family friends ended up canceling their orders after picking at their children s meals since they did not revive any food after almost 2 hours. Once we finally got our food after 2 hours since we sat down, it only got worse. Nobody enjoyed their food, other than the baby who had tomato pasta. My partners parents ordered the salmon and the skin was burnt and had to be peeled off. The pasta that accompanied the dish has bits of burnt corn which made the entire sauce taste terrible. They didn t even eat half of their food. A family member had to send her entire meal back and cancel it due to waiting times as she asked for a well done steak (she is pregnant) and it came rare. My pizza had zero flavour and zero salt. I had to ask for salt on my pizza, which I ve never experienced in my life. There were also flies in the restaurant, we had to cover our plates with napkins. For the price of the food, I don t recommend. I m sure the drinks are great and the atmosphere is nice however we were very disappointed with our meals and won t be coming back.

$1 oysters every Thursday. What more can you want? Actually we also had a few appetizers. We were 4 people and each chose a different one. They were all exquisite. And the Tiramisu for dessert was top. I highly recommend this place.

The first two times we went to Mista it was great. My girlfriend and I like to sit at the bar. The food was excellent, the atmosphere pleasant and the service impeccable. The third time, boom! Disjointed service, visible lack of staff or coordination. Less tasty food. Tuna tartare that tastes like mayo, arugula salad with too much lemon, flank steak served without a knife, and became cold when the knife arrived 10 minutes later.

At the risk of going against the grain of opinions, the Mista is overvalued. Reservation at 7 p.m., but no table for us. Due to the rain they brought customers from the terrace inside. We finally got a table at 7:50 p.m. Basic welcome without any mention that they are sorry for the situation. The cuisine we sampled lacked punch and passion. Arranccini which was in fact a doughy ball in the mouth (we didnt even recognize the grain of rice), an overcooked salmon without flavor with a cruel lack of salt and pepper and a pizza whose crust was burnt. For dessert, oily donuts. Finally, the toilets are downright filthy. Two toilets for the restaurant (there was a line up all evening), papers all over the floor, the floor is dirty, a clogged urinal, a wobbly toilet flush on the wall whose pipes can be seen. In short, I wont be taken back again. Italian food deserves better. Reputation is overrated.

The starter, featuring fresh scallops, was a pure delight, while the generous portions of our pasta dishes left us full and satisfied. Sophias thoughtful gesture of bringing a digestive and donuts to celebrate my girlfriends birthday added a special touch to our evening. In summary, this place offers impeccable service, delicious food and a warm atmosphere. Whether for a special occasion or a casual meal, I highly recommend it. I cant wait to repeat the experience!

I have been a Mista customer for several years. The restaurant has always been in my top preference for Italian restaurants. I really like the menu, and its often difficult to choose! The service is warm and professional. However, I find that over the years, the atmosphere of the restaurant has changed. The Mista now has a bistro/bar style, a much less intimate atmosphere than before. The music is very loud, and at the end of the evening, with the restaurant full, we can no longer hear each other talking. In the end, its relieving to leave the restaurant. Mista remains a restaurant that is worth trying on a culinary level!

A restaurant victim of its success: no outside reservation, 15min wait to find out there is a 30min wait, 30min later still no place but a waiting list of 30min (without guarantee necessarily). With 2 children and a baby, it doesnt work.

We are loyal customers of Mista/BELOEIL this evening, the service was not up to par with Mista/BELOEIL. Our waitress didnt really care about making our evening enjoyable. We got what we wanted because we had to ask for it every time. There was a delay in the kitchen...no big deal at all, the Caesar salad wasnt ready...but it would have been important for her to warn us and for the pizza we were waiting for to not stay in the heat for 20 minutes... At $190 per bill, we expect a delightful experience from every point of view Let s say that experience in this demanding profession remains to be acquired.

The starters are excellent and quite generous. Keep this in mind when ordering your meal. For me, a starter was enough, no need for a main meal. And the meal portions are very generous too

The arancini was gross and cold. Sent it back. The second was just as bad. We ate it because we were starving, as it took more then an hour to get our appetizers. Power went out before main course. I think we got lucky to not have to taste the main. Our waitress was doing her best.

Nice welcome, nice restaurant, the food is good. The portions are generous. On the other hand, the prosciutto was perhaps not cooked enough on the pizza, because it was very stringy. I didnt like that the suggested tip is on the full total (taxes included).

In general its ok, we gave the restaurant 3 chances. The first time it was quite special service but we returned it was quite ordinary. We ordered the drinks it took 30 minutes before receiving and finally received with the meals?!... we asked for parmesan with our pasta they had time to cool before having the parmesan, in the end we ate cold. We decided to go a third time, never two without three. We went earlier around 5:30 p.m. it was good at first, we received our drinks in a reasonable time, the food too but finally as soon as it started to fill up with customers and service. Our empty plates have been sitting in front of us for a good 15-20 minutes. No refeal nothing. Its a shame that the service is bad because the food is still good. Very unfortunate...
