Super restaurant

We arrived 30 minutes late. -Waitress told us that she had to take both courses quickly because we had to leave by 7:30 a.m. - goat cheese crouton, semi-burnt bread - the paella is definitely not a paella (much too salty and the seafood not cooked with the rice, with a chicken drumstick lol. ) - tiramisu tastes like coffee just in the Bottom and top just cocoa because made in a Macon jar high. -cheesecake more of a mousse than a cake Good points - cooking excellent seafood Paella - excellent rack of lamb cooking. -very tasty cheesecake. Note that they offered us dessert for $10 to compensate for a missed meal (paella) for $35. Good but really nothing more.

A tasty meal and served hot too. Its been a long time since Ive been this satisfied with a restaurant experience in a few years. The lady who served us was very charming. I will definitely return.

Caesar salad . Without Caesar . $13 for a bowl of flavorless salad! Excellent sweetbreads served with very very little accompaniment. For the service, not at all attentive, never stopped by and asked if everything was ok . Never again. For the price I expected much better. Theres nothing to make us come back!

We had booked 3 weeks in advance from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. When we arrived at our reservation we were told that if we took the terrace we would have to leave by 7:30 am. If we took the makeshift table next to the front door with folding chairs we would have as much time as we needed. As soon as we sat down we had a waitress ready to take our order. They came to us three times with the same question. All this to say that at 7:15 a.m. the boss came to see us, clicking the pencil on his tablet to tell us that we had to hurry up and order dessert because there were a lot of people. So with the last sip of wine and my coffee waiting as well as dessert, we left with a full stomach without having time to converse and with a bill for $150 Perhaps management should be questioned. We go there often and take friends to discover this restaurant and the atmosphere. For this very disappointing evening in addition to having had derogatory comments from the owner saying that we had to work. Yet it was the same one who said he would let us eat without stressing out.

For me its a 5 star in terms of food without question! I tried several dishes which left me speechless, just for the tartare which seemed to have more onions and something other than meat... but otherwise I recommend everything else!

Being able to eat as much as I want is not one of my expectations when I go to a restaurant because for me it is obvious. Going to a restaurant generally there is always a bit too much.... $33 for 8 ravioli. Calculate it, it costs you $1 a mouthful if you cut it into 4 small pieces to stretch the pleasure a little. Despite the fact that I had had a starter, I left the table and I was still very hungry. The price didnt bother me. The quantity for the price on the other hand, alas! Having known I would have gone to Mistas I would have gotten what I wanted, my money and even a lunch for tomorrow...

For a restaurant, bring your wine in the area, it s one of the very good ones The food is excellent and tasty The service is very good although a little rocky because of the second service at 7:30 p.m. (the waitress seems to be doing us a big favor of 2-3 additional minutes before ordering if we havent decided when we take the order!) If not thats fine and we will when to come back but arrive earlier than 5:30 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. reservation or take the 7:30 p.m. service

Me and my partner planned to go to this restaurant this Saturday so we called at 11:45 a.m. and left a message for a table at 6:30 p.m. At 5:20 p.m., no news from the place even though it has been open since 5 p.m. We called to confirm our reservation and were told it was full. I mentioned that if we had had a call as planned there might have been room so we got the response that perhaps we had been forgotten and that he was sorry. Considering that we had to go there for a plan B, we made calls to a few restaurants but obviously they were all full. Restaurant owners complain about people who make reservations but dont show up as agreed. I would like restaurateurs to understand that respect is on both sides and that such behavior is unacceptable!

Nice place for food, bring your own wine. If you want to be face to face, its a little noisy though. Everyone received their plate at the same time, but I suggest the biased cheek. I was a little jealous of the veal cheek plates. I will definitely go back!

This restaurant is simply divine, not a big, very elaborate menu, but the plates offered are simply incredible, the meats are cooked perfectly according to your requirements, so Bravo, good luck.

Its been a few years since we last ate at Et Cetera. Our recent visit lived up to our expectations. The dishes, the very attentive service and the warm atmosphere make this place an excellent choice for spending a nice evening with friends, or as a couple. The only downside, located in old Beloeil, parking is a game of cat and mouse. We can go around in circles for a long time. Parking: Some city parking is available but it fills up quickly so you have to walk around the streets with your fingers crossed. Wheelchair accessibility: A large access ramp is available at the entrance.

Very nice menu. We were all happy with the meals chosen. Very good, nice presentation. Its a shame that upon arrival were made to feel like we have to hurry up and choose our menu because we have to leave in two hours. When the meal is this good we like to take the time to enjoy it. We feel the pressure that this also puts on certain staff members. Perhaps a delay should be left between the two services. A little noisy. .

We are never disappointed at Et Cætera! Yesterday evening, a lovely welcome, efficient and smiling service, and what can we say about the plates! Everything we ordered was excellent, from starter to dessert: cooking, ingredients, presentation, touches of originality here and there. The chicken tagine and merguez did wonders to my taste buds, the paella had a nice variety, the pasta was full of flavors and the sought-after desserts satisfied us! Plus we can bring our own wine which is a great advantage. Were going back for sure!

Regular restaurant for a few years, but the last experience was horrible. I love flank steak. The portion was minimal (like a minute steak) portion of fries (we could see the bottom of the dish) a real joke for the price. Pie completely frozen, the owner of the place even came to the table to tell us that it was not frozen. A real joke. Never again. P.s. rotten service

Very, very disappointed. My friend and I thought we were going to a fantastic restaurant. Mistake, we order garlic shrimp but the waitress informs us that these will be served on linguini, we accept. This dish was not up to par at all, very dry pasta with the addition of lemon juice as a sauce. The service was lousy, we were made to wait a very long time between the main course, the dessert (the only delicious dish was the apple fritters) and the bill. In the circumstances, rather difficult to recommend this restaurant. Dried pasta for $30 thats worth $15 and again...really too expensive for a restaurant that seems to think its upscale.

Very nice evening and a beautiful atmosphere. Very courteous service and excellent food...for my part I chose the PAELLA and it was very good. We can bring our wine and if you want to have a little aperitif, we can also bring beer. The prices of the dishes are around thirty dollars each on average and it is reasonable and as the quality is there you will have a wonderful evening. Booking before would be a better idea since its vacation time and there were a lot of people. Almost complete. Great experience for all of us (group of 6) and we highly recommend it. Cold and tasteless meal, unsanitary kitchen.

Finally, my partner and I were able to return to our favorite restaurant on June 5. Happy to find our favorite dishes there, among others: the squid starter (a must), the cod dish with hot tomatoes, the succulent flank steak. A pleasant place that we are happy to return to. Thank you Philippe.

Update June 2021: The restaurant has clearly lost its feathers. All the dishes we knew well have clearly lost quality and flavor: Barely cooked rubbery squid with flavorless white breading , tagine with an excessive amount of liquid (no sauce), the meat and vegetables tasted like water...only the merguez had flavors!!! Duck leg with pale and flabby skin without being browned, a lack of culinary technique... and still an excessive quantity of liquid. Yes, a duck leg confit floating on a liquid and chickpeas...unheard of. Atrocious pesto pasta, no sauce, no flavor and once again water in the bottom of the plate. It looked like the feta and olives had been steamed. Another disaster. Seriously we eat better at Barbies or Mikes you really have to do it. expeditious service, without attention. If you want water, ask for a pitcher. Here is what I wrote last summer: Impeccable service, simple but very varied menu. A+++ flavor and freshness. Everything was perfect and delicious. A great find, Im already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience. I no longer recommend this restaurant.

Great service and great food

I went there on July 17, on the terrace. Raviolis were EXCELLENT!!!!! A small downside is that a dessert with no mention of chocolate in the menu (the donuts) arrived with decorative chocolate. Chocolate contains caffeine which not everyone can ingest, even in small quantities. Either mention chocolate in the description, or leave it out. One option would be to sprinkle with a little icing sugar to decorate instead of the chocolate. Some will tell me that I should have returned the dessert and it was offered to me but I opted not to return it and ate it (yes, I could taste the chocolate).

Very disappointed we were used to going to restaurants but unfortunately this will be the last time we were 9 people out of the 9 there was all at least one disappointment cream burn a real mud, lack of product on the plates e.g. .. no flaking in the snail starter, squid breading does not hold on it, a lot of tightness in the flank steak Plus you have to pay a dollar for the wine corkage And Im really disappointed

A very nice place, the staff too. The starters and meals are very generous. We dont need to go to McDonalds afterwards, thats for sure! Bring your own wine! On site there are soft drinks and sparkling water. Otherwise everything on the menu is delicious.

Good food but this restaurant does not respect anti-COVID instructions. Far too many tables for the size of the restaurant, we could have had dinner with our neighbors without too much effort....I stretch my arm and touch my neighbors...and what can I say about the difficulty in parking . Ill wait a while before going back.

Everything was tasty at take-out! The salmon and mango tartare as a starter was fabulous!The paella was exquisite, maybe just a little less lemon juice on the seafood!The crème brûlée was tasty and very delicate on the palate and whats more, we can keep the stoneware (ceramic) dish as a souvenir! The warm apple fritters with caramel and walnut sauce were very good!The owner is very accommodating in modifying a meal to suit the customers taste because I had asked for a dish for someone else and he modified it according to his taste and I thank him! All his employees are very helpful and very kind! And everything was hot and yet I dont live so close to Beloeil! Most of the containers for take-out food were quite sturdy except for some which could have been more! The paper bags are good although the handles could have been a little more sturdy! The interior of the restaurant is simple but chic and clean! There is also a terrace! The restaurant is located in an old house in old Beloeil which is pretty and it is located not far from the Richelieu River, a beautiful place to relax before or after the meal! Those looking for parking spaces, the town of Beloeil has 3 available, including one near the funeral home and yes you have to walk a little bit!

Beautiful terrace that can accommodate quite a few people while respecting health rules. A reservation is required to have a table. The staff is courteous even when the restaurant is crowded. Beautiful place to gather with family or friends.

What a great discovery as a non-flyer restaurant, outstanding food quality, pella of the same quality as Spain, extra fried cod, a surprise Escargot on tomato sauce and Brie. Impeccable service, well done boss and waitresses.

Delicious, great service! On the other hand, be aware that there are two services and that if you choose the first at 5:30 p.m. YOU MUST LEAVE by 7:30 p.m. not a minute more. This fact was not mentioned to me over the phone when I booked. Time passes quickly and we are really in a hurry to leave as quickly as possible. This bothered me. Having known that, I would have reserved the other time slot. We couldnt finish our glass of wine because we had to leave there! I went at 7:30 p.m. 2 weeks ago and I loved my experience! So know it! This restaurant is great, good atmosphere and great quality of food, hot and plentiful! I will go back again and again, but never again at 5:30 p.m.!

I took my girlfriend to eat at this restaurant to celebrate 1 year of union. I had planned a budget of maximum $130 including drinks. We were both 18 and 19 years old and we were obviously the youngest in the room. The waiter took the time to explain each of the specialties on the menu as well as the current inspirations to all the restaurants customers except us! His service was cold and we really felt like we were being left out since we were younger. No dessert was offered to us even though I heard him offer chocolate mousse to ALL the customers except us of course. Not to mention the meal which was ok. Despite my young age, I am a lover of good food. I regularly go out to restaurants and I put my hand in my pocket without hesitation if it means having a pleasant experience. I was extremely disappointed with the way we were treated and as a young entrepreneur I cannot imagine that a restaurateur could afford to classify his customers in this way. Everyone deserves good service. Hoping the owner has changed his attitude.

I had the Moroccan couscous. The lamb had no spice and tasted plain, the vegetable sauce (which came separately) tasted like vegetable soup without any flavor or spice. We were charged a fee to uncork our bottles of wine in a bring-your-own-wine restaurant. The service was good but I will never return to this restaurant.

Reservation made on Tuesday for 1 table for 2 people near a window and I specify that it is for our wedding anniversary. Arriving at the restaurant after a two-hour drive, we showed up on time and surprise there was no table for us. I say to the gentleman who welcomed us without smiling but has it been a week since I booked? The dazed look leaves and comes back without smiling and looking for my name on the list and tells me that there is no place. He addresses the couple behind us and their offers to the terrace, this Saturday it was very cool outside. The person left us there and we decided to eat elsewhere. 2 hours later we pass by the restaurant again and the receptionist with a big smile in front of a group, I believe that this person chooses the customers of his restaurant. And I sincerely believe that it is one of the owners, I will never return to this restaurant. We had excellent service at the Mistral, despite the traffic and the very busy waiters, seated near a window and we ate very well and without reservation. Excellent experience! The snails were sublime. The layer of tomatoes and mozzarella was fresh and tasty. The tender shoulder fillet and perfect cooking. The biggest WOW is attributable to the service! Thank you for the little attention for our wedding anniversary. I would like to highlight the gesture made by the owners in donating the $1.00 fee for opening bottles of wine to a palliative care home. A small downside: the apple fritters were not sufficiently cooked but the waiter quickly took care to correct the situation. A suggestion: use cloth tablecloths and napkins to contribute to the environment and live up to your establishment.

I love this restaurant, same owner as a more expensive restaurant on the waterfront of old Beloeil, but the bring your own wine formula is better suited to selling organic wines! The menu changes often enough that you can go back and always be spoiled for choice! Everything is always delicious!
