One of the best places in old Beloeil. Its so good, theres often something new on their menu, really excellent.

A very nice discovery! We were supposed to meet friends elsewhere in Beloeil but we bumped our noses on closed doors. This is how we made this discovery. Excellent across the board: service, choice on the menu, decor, friendliness of the staff and what can we say about the beautiful terrace. We will go back.

What a great discovery this Tuesday lunchtime on the magnificent terrace! Were with friends and really enjoyed our experience in Vieux Beloeil. Everyone really liked their choice of dish. The shrimp and scallop risotto was extraordinary, seasoned just right, a delight. The warm goat cheese salads, or quinoa and finally the burger which our friend said was the best meal of his life! Courteous, friendly, very friendly service. In short, we would go back more often if it was closer to...Laval or Orford!!

Good food, lacking service and ambience-wise, it was really too hot. There were a few fans that didnt provide power at all. We couldnt wait to finish and leave. The waiter never asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. We had to ask for more water. He didnt thank us when paying the bill and didnt wish us good evening when we left too. I have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last year and the service is always the deficient element.

Very good as a restaurant, the freshness of the food, the portions of the plates as well as the service was very good!!! I happily recommend it!

My best restaurant, always good fresh food and impeccable service

We went to this restaurant for the first time without waiting. Our server Benoit was really attentive. The burrata starter was really good. The tuna tartare was super good and the portion generous. The rabbit pasta is worth the detour. We were pleasantly surprised and we highly recommend this restaurant!

Extremely disappointed with my meal and experience. This is the 3rd time we have been to this restaurant and the last unfortunately. 1- In my entry, it said veal sweetbreads... with crispy vegetables.. no crispy vegetables. I took the trouble to ask the waitress where they were. She told me it was probably the 3 raw radishes. Unacceptable response. Nothing was done to try to figure out where they were. Additionally, the starter was bland and lacked flavor. 2- it is written that all cocktails include taxes, but on the invoice it adds taxes to the amount which says taxes included. A $7 drink with tax included shouldnt cost me $7+tx like I received on my bill this evening! 3- very ordinary and long service. The waitress seemed new and everything took very very long. More than 20 minutes to receive 4 beers and a bottle of wine (at 5:30 a.m. when there are almost no customers). In addition, there were 8 of us, it took more than 20 minutes before everyone received their main courses (considering that we had 3 tartares). Unfortunately, the cost of the dishes and the experience were not there! I dont advise.

2023 (June) - I have returned several times in 4 years without always commenting and the same great experience each time. What stands out at this place after the quality of the cuisine is the teamwork! You have your dish served by the bossboy, your fries by the barmaid and your salad by the waiter....its a wonderful model for reducing waiting time to a minimum! Tim Hortons should take notes..... (2020 - 2021 - 2022) Incredible experience during a visit to old Beloeil, sought-after menu at a reasonable price. The September Au Trait combo is always a winner!

A favorite address in Vieux-Beloeil. Good table with seasonal dishes. We were amazed by the presentation and assembly of certain ingredients. The service was courteous and efficient. We will definitely return

Good atmosphere. On the other hand, I had a hair in my main dish. Very long service. I waited over 20 minutes for a small cup of ketchup. The main waitress was busy texting on the counter, another waitress came after 20 minutes Only 5 meal choices to eat including two tartares

I ate a magnificent beef tartare. The waitress (Andrea) is really attentive and warm. You have to come if you are in the area! plus there is parking right in front of the restaurant (great asset)

What a great young and dynamic company!! the team has created a super interesting take-out menu! I heard about the revisited pogos and tried their fried chicken menu. Everything was so good! Poutine with pieces of fried chicken and spicy sauce, fried chicken (large pieces of lightly breaded chicken) with fries, brown gravy and coleslaw, halloumi cheese sticks with tomato sauce, ultra original!!! Generous portions, super good taste, impeccable service! Looking forward to seeing the next card!! Thank you and well done!

Great service. The food is excellent. The oysters are just so good. Lacks a bit of variety on the cocktail side. But I recommend this place hands down.

Excellent food, fast and courteous service. The interior space is quite limited, but when the terrace is open, it is magnificent. Compliance with health rules is more or less respected by staff members (mask under the nose, very close approach to customers) which causes a certain discomfort.

Last night, I went for dinner there with a friend - since Covid, there arent many restaurants that are open on Monday evenings. It was the second time I went there and even if the first time I found it very good, it was even better yesterday. I had fried squid as a starter and octopus as a main course. It was honestly DELICIOUS. The cooking was PERFECT and there are few restaurants that know how to cook these two products well. A magnificent terrace, A1 service and excellent food, what more could you ask for? I will go back, thats for sure! Well done!

Everything was excellent....the buffet, the service, the location, the parking and its really lovely. My octopus was simply perfect, full of unusual accompaniments, super tasty. The evening soup was interesting and delicious until the end. My mother had the flank steak, wow, colorful, full of flavors and colors. I recommend it hands down.

Everything was great! As a starter we had the fried squid then a beef tartare. Very good! For main meal we each had the flank steak with blue cheese sauce, excellent. The service was also very good. Perfect cooking! I recommend 100% :)

Clairement notre go-to spot avec les filles du bureau et jy invite avec plaisir ma famille et mes amis, en sachant que leur menu court, mais délicieux saura plaire à tous. We went there for lunch and opted for the Funky Pogo with Ramen and a BBQ Tornado Potato. Dirty but delicious! An excellent idea for a quick lunch to eat on the banks of the Richelieu. We are going back!

Lunch today. Menu very little choice. Service to forget. Slow and not at all friendly. For 3 adults 1 menu even if we asked for another one and never received it. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. We will never go back there.

Very good, nice atmosphere, the waitresses are very friendly and smiling. You feel at home when youre a regular! The Menu changes often, well stocked plate, good value for money. The terrace is very pleasant in summer. Despite the competition on the same street, I remain faithful to this one. It is open on Monday!! I highly recommend.

Always very satisfied with my experience at Trait d union! The food is sophisticated and the menu adapted according to the seasons. It s a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in old Beloeil. The only negative point is that I find that the tables are too close together when we want an intimate romantic dinner. The table neighbors are very close. The service is always good and the staff are friendly.
