Ristorante Piccolo Mondo in Berlin

The tables are beautifully set and prepared. The staff is very friendly and attentive. All of the dishes I ordered tasted excellent. Great carpaccio, large salad Picolo Mondo and juicy sliced beef fillet on rocket with plenty of parmesan. My fellow participants were also impressed by the quality and taste of their food

It was a very nice evening. The service was attentive and not intrusive. The food was fantastic and so was the wine. The food was prepared directly at the table.

+The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a lot of regular customers. +The food was tasty. -As a new customer without a reservation you had the feeling of being a second class citizen -No espresso, nightcap or similar on the house despite a tip, which I know from all Italians in Berlin -Prices are high according to the ambience, but sometimes too extreme and with the same quality they can be found much cheaper in Berlin

An established restaurant in Charlottenburg, Berlin. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 30 minutes on a Friday evening. However, the service was extremely friendly and quick. The food was solid not outstanding Italian cuisine, but probably one of the better offerings in Berlin. We can particularly recommend the tagliatelle with lobster. A little tip about truffle pasta: It tastes even more intense if it is prepared with more truffles and less Parmesan. The taste is a bit reminiscent of pasta carbonara.

We only drank wine and ate soup there. We were looked at strangely and felt like we had to apologize for even being there. Sorry about that but we wont be coming back!

I had a Christmas party with my colleagues and they were looking forward to a lovely evening. We were all served very unfriendly. The bread was snatched from under our noses, even though my colleague wanted to eat it to top up her sauce. It was very loud, very narrow and to top it off, even though we had booked the table and colleagues hadnt finished their drinks yet, they kicked us out on the grounds that they needed the tables. All colleagues were horrified and it is an outrage to treat your guests like that. This restaurant will never interest me again.

I was there with my colleagues on the weekend. Very tasty food, we had a 3 course meal. The only criticism: the portions are too huge. There was a lot left over (luckily a colleague took the food with her and distributed it to those in need). After 3 different starters, serving a fish that weighs 500 grams is too much. A piece of fillet would have been sufficient. Because then came dessert The staff is very accommodating, in a good mood, customer-oriented and friendly definitely recommended

We come to InnoTrans every two years and are always thrilled. Everything is very sophisticated, but not too posh. Food and service are exceptional!

There are five stars here because it is a wonderful place, with light Italian, casual, cheerful service and appropriate food. Unfortunately, our last stay a week ago was a disappointment, as the service and the food corresponded to our many years of experience. We hope things get better because we like going here. However, it has to be as good as before.

Very nice location, friendly, attentive staff. Extensive, very tasty appetizer platter. The main courses served afterwards were also great. Kid-friendliness: Our youngest, 2 years old, was welcomed enthusiastically.

The food is good, but not as good as the high price would require. Maybe we were just unlucky with the food? In our experience the price is not worth it, in Berlin you can have similar quality for significantly lower prices, or higher quality for similar prices. But if the price doesnt matter at all, you can try it and maybe have better luck than we did...

I came to Piccolo Mondo on a recommendation and because I finally wanted to eat delicious truffle pasta again. It was successful - I wouldnt be disappointed and even had to capitulate to the crowd. Before that there was delicious fresh bread with great olive oil and olives. Also worth highlighting is the excellent service. Id love to come back!

After a long time, we finally made it there again. The truffle pasta is really great. Unfortunately the scallops were too hearty with the sauce for me. There were also differences between the waiters that were resolved in front of us. We found that inappropriate, I think something like that should be clarified discreetly.

The last time I was here was 30 years ago. Had dinner again yesterday and it was still as fantastic as before. Highly recommended.

The truffle pasta and the truffle pizza didnt taste like anything... the pizza was also very greasy. For the price this is not acceptable!

It will be hard to find such a perfect yet cozy restaurant.

This restaurant has been impressing with consistently high quality and a varied menu for years. The dishes are not only of the highest quality in terms of taste, but are also prepared from good and fresh ingredients. Used to be quite frequent at Piccolo Mondo. Dirty water glass today, which is supposed to be in the dishwasher. Then you have to check the glasses when emptying them. The sea bream was not filleted at the table as usual but in the kitchen. It was thick and solid and didnt taste very fresh either. A no go for the price range.

I was there with a few work colleagues. The food was very good for all of us. We had ordered a starter and if we had known it was that much, we would not have ordered a main course. That was a shame because we had really given a lot of food back.

A real Italian, just as you know Italian hospitality. The food is excellent, the service attentive and very accommodating. For me its always worth a visit when Im in Berlin.

Friends took us because they wanted to get to know this restaurant My husband and I are so disappointed and wont recommend it. Decadent crowd, almost all guests are greeted with kisses from the boss. The tables were very close together, the volume was so loud that you could hardly hear the person you were talking to, and the waiters were bustling around the entire restaurant with their plates. No attention was paid to us at all; we constantly had to call the waiter. The food didnt taste any better than our Italian restaurant around the corner. Its a shame about all the money we had to pay in the end.

Buonissimo! Very warm service, really excellent food (including the Ossobuco is highly recommended) and the feeling of being in Italy. Whoever cooks for you has their heart in the right place in the kitchen! And if you have an extra request (the Zabaione is not on the menu), feel free to express it: if possible, the request will be implemented quickly. Class! The prices and the selection of different dishes are also right. From pasta to fish to meat. In short: an absolute tip for all Berlin tourists with a preference for cucina italia. The Piccolo Mondo is a restaurant where everything fits. The ambience is very good, whether its a business meeting or a nice evening with friends, the service leaves nothing to be desired. Always absolutely attentive, professional and very friendly waiters. And of course the most important thing, the food. I know many Italian restaurants around the world, but Piccolo Mondo is absolutely in the top group. The dishes with truffles and fish dishes are particularly recommended.

There is nothing to complain about here! There are 3 steps at the entrance, but the boss personally lends a hand and brings you into the restaurant in a wheelchair! The food is excellent, as is the service. Ambiance is very pleasant! The tables are set with beautiful table linen and of course there are cloth napkins! I love that! A barrier-free toilet is available.

It tasted wonderful. I had the pesto and I didnt need to season it at all, which is very unusual for me. The service was also wonderfully attentive and friendly.

There are more waiters here than some restaurants have guests per day. But they have everything perfectly under control to serve a really full restaurant. The fact that the restaurant was full is due to the delicious food. Our pizza was truly perfect and a rare experience.

Yes, we got a table without a reservation. We were in the Wühlmäuse and the restaurant where we actually wanted to go is closed on Sunday. The food is ridiculously overpriced. Neither the atmosphere nor the service nor the ambience justify it. My seat and the carpet (in the restaurant, carpet!!! ) were covered in stains and my napkin was dirty. The pizza was ok. At the next table we noticed how the big movie was being opened for the pasta with parmesan and truffles. For minutes the waiter acted as if it was starting NOW, scraped the cheese, lit the liquor, seemed nervous. To then drive everything away WITHOUT WORDS and only come back after 15 minutes so that there was really something this time. Claims, PRICE and reality are so different here, its just laughable. PS: Why didnt I go? Because it was a Christmas present and my companion chose it.

Absolute hammer! After many years we were at Piccolomondo again today and absolutely loved it.

Delicious food! Book your table in advance, especially on weekends. Skip the tourist attractions in Berlin to visit this restaurant ;-)

Unfriendly... my tip if you just want something to drink dont go there... group of guests in which one part eats something and another part only drinks something... they are threatened with banishment... whoever refuses has to eat! Everyone at the table and it doesnt matter if a table brings in more than 200 euros... sad but true...

Tables crowded together and a background noise like a train station hall. The ambience needs a lot of improvement. Just like the snobby wannabe elite of Westend. Dinghy lips and pocket mutts eating from the table are numerous. This is also where the lack of attention from the extremely hectic waiters ends up. There is no peace and quiet... Two of our guests from the table of 6 were unable to eat for health reasons and had only ordered drinks. This immediately called the boss into action, who reprimanded us at the table and warned us vigorously that we had to order food in his restaurant, only drinks were not possible, today would be an exception. I have rarely been met with such arrogance and arrogance. But our bill of almost 300 didnt bother him. When I left the restaurant, I thanked the little Italian Napolen for his discrimination against our guests and wished him well. A visit is not necessary...there are much better places in Berlin. I dont understand the many positive reviews.

We used to come to this place almost every week. It had been a while and we decided to try it again. A bit sad to see that food and service was not what it used to be. Errors in the order (my daughter had to eat when we were finished), pasta not well cooked, and too much fat in the Carbonara .

Was very tasty! The portioning of the food is designed to satiety! Nobody left the table hungry! The staff could be even friendlier. This does not apply to the men in the cloakroom! The maximum level of friendliness had already been reached here!

Everything used to be great, but unfortunately its becoming more and more crowded and hectic... Its better to have a little less stress and more quality for the guests. Food is good, service depends on the waiter. Sometimes loud and hectic, like a train station. Sometimes you cant understand your own people at the table because its so loud. Too bad!!!

It was a great restaurant many years ago. Unfortunately, the management has chosen a specific clientele where wallet is the most important thing. We no longer felt comfortable there, small dogs were sitting at the table and food was on the plate. Even when we pointed it out, no one cared. You lose your appetite. Its a shame, but we wont go there anymore.

There were simply too many guests in the rooms and therefore stress, hecticness and an atmosphere like in the train station hall. The service was worse than ever. The food was good as always, but it was also better. Sometimes its better to focus on quality rather than quantity. We hope things get better, you dont go out to eat for such chaos.
