Stopped for Friday Fish Fry, had a Perch Sandwich with fries & cold slaw. My wife had a Haddock Sandwich. Best sandwiches ever! The bun was soft & fish was excellent!
Delicious food, love their Friday fish fry. Would be nice if they cleaned and painted their main entryway, certainly does not give a good first impression. Sure hope their kitchen is cleaner.

We have driven by for years and didn't stop because it always looked too full to get it. Now I see why. Great food reasonable price. We will be back soon.
We stopped here after spending an afternoon touring the Shawano County barn quilts. Service was efficient. We both had “The Fran” hamburger which was good. Deep fried veggie appetizer was also good.
We drove All around Appleton looking for deap fried chicken. We found the perfect place. Bartender was fun and friendly. Our chicken dinner was delicious. Thank you guys. We'll be back again.
I love the fish during Friday night fish fry. The location is in the country but easy to get to and park. Primarily a local hangout, one will get some looks when entering but it is nothing negative. The staff is pleasant and seating choices are decent. If I have any complaints it would be the same issue I have with most every bar. The cocktails are weak. Fortunately, I know enough to ask for an extra shot ($2.50 extra) and that satisfies me. In addition to the fish, I have also had the fried chicken. Also a very good choice. if you are looking for a new place, try here. And arrive early. Reservations are not accepted.

Best place Ive visited in a long time that didnt disappoint. Friendly staff comfortable environment, multiple seating options. The food was amazing!!! Everything was as it should have been. If your in the area . You should stop and see for yourself....

Loved it If youve been to the Wishing Well on Newberry st in Appleton, you will be glad to know the Wishing Well in the town of Center is just as yummy with the same menu, Cajun haddock-my favorite, with the better than mom used to make potato salad! Ohhh soooooo good !!!

Had a cheeseburger, never got my fries, hubby had perch, never got his fries. The food was good what we got. Only 1 register for 4 bartenders and no wait staff. Crazy.

Got a seafood platter and it was terrible. Will not be back. Very disappointing. If you are not a regular you will be waiting.

One of the best fish fry s I have had in the area. The amount of fish you get plus the great flavor and you can tell they use fresh grease for the deep fry. Great bar service as well

Not that busy when I went in and it took the bartender 15 minutes to see me and wait on me. Never had that before. Just this bartender. This isnt the first time she did this to me.

Bartenders are not very attentive. Unless you are a regular. Guys went up to order no one wait on them. Then the girls went up and finally got waited on. Food was good. Service sucks both couples have the samething and our bills were two different prices.

It was a gorgeous, uncharacteristically warm November day on the bikes, and we were on a quest, a mission to find real food, not just frozen bar pizzas. Valhalla! We found it at the Wishing Well! Great burgers, sandwiches, appetizers (Im telling you - we were HUNGRY!), and quick refills on the drinks. Fun bartender (owner) kept us entertained with great stories. Will definitely return!!

Full menu, Taco Tuesday, Fish Friday, Chicken dinner all day Sunday. Pool tables, darts, games. Plenty of room for everyone. Huge bar area, lots of tables. Packer Sunday, NASCAR, Brewers, Badgers, racing. 3 Big TVs in the rooms, 3 small TVs at the bar. Music, Bands at times, themed partys once in a while. Bike runs once in a while. Great people, lots of fun.
If you have plans of going out to get a meal here dont, just stay home cook that tv dinner that has been in the freezer all year even after the power went out. Terrible service, extra things added on the tab, wrong meals, and everything fried was cold.
