Food as generous as it is tasty! And Eliot s super-friendly service is worth highlighting. A lucky choice that will be repeated!

We always eat well at Au Petit Chalet. The portions are huge and the ham and house-smoked bacon are truly exceptional. The service is impeccable too. We are often served by the same waitress (blonde lady) who is very smiling and attentive to customers. Today we asked if the music could be turned down because it was very loud for my father who wears hearing aids. It was getting a little cacophonous with music and noise from customers. The waitress unfortunately couldnt play the music. Also, even though we were far from the door, because of people coming and going, it was very cold in the restaurant.

We were served by Jade, a true sweetheart! Very friendly and always smiling, she made sure we didnt miss anything. The quality of the food is excellent, with generous portions at a reasonable price!

To date this is my best place for lunch. The eggs benedict are just Wow. Old-fashioned smoked ham, delicious. Welcome with a beautiful smile, very good service. The only downside is that you have to be patient because they dont take reservations. Well done!

This was one of my favorite lunch restaurants. On the other hand, my last visit completely changed my opinion.. on a Friday morning, it took almost an hour before the waitress came to take our order.. (at least we had our drinks that she had brought) just as long receiving our food which was cold once on our table.. several people arrived after us, but ate before us and were already distributed before we received our meal. This was unfortunately my last visit to this restaurant.

We had impeccable service from Jade yesterday when we went for lunch for a very special birthday. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. This outing started our day off very well!

I loved it. We were very well received. Impeccable and warm service throughout the meal. Fast service and never ran out of coffee. Everything was excellent. For my part I took Le flamboyant . Smiling staff. Beautiful rustic atmosphere. And we didnt have to ask for the invoice once we were asked if we had finished, she brought it to us shortly after summer ps later . I will definitely return and I STRONGLY recommend it!!!

We have come to eat at the restaurant several times and have been served by Jade. Jade is always smiling, attentive to our needs and very friendly. We didnt feel like we were bothering her by asking for condiments or anything else, which has happened to us in the past with another waitress (Generally, we are a table of 8-10 people). To the management of the establishment, take care of her, she is a real gem!! The food is good and the plates are generous. Everything Ive tasted so far on the menu is delicious, theres something for everyone, whether you like sweet or savory. The apple lovers caramel is exquisite. The only reason why I dont give 5 stars is that the ham tastes a lot less maple than before, however, it is still better than in other lunch restaurants. The owner and his brother Sami They need a course of discipline to learn to speak in a respectful and polite manner because they are so far from being human.

The bald gentleman at reception is a very disrespectful and arrogant person, with a serious lack of good manners. After waiting outside for 1 hour and a quarter with children, we made a very respectful comment saying that you should not tell us that a table will become available in 30 minutes if you are not sure.. the gentleman could not manage himself and instead of professionally accepting this comment he raised his voice by telling us that we are free to leave. Unfortunately after an hour and a quarter of waiting the children couldnt take it anymore so we decided to stay anyway. In the end we wanted to pass the comment on to the owner hoping for professional understanding and management of the situation, but the surprise was even worse, we met the person furthest from being professional who responded to us in an insulting way and rude. Terrible management team, I hope at least the employees are treated better than their customers. Worst experience ever.

Its very good but extremely very expensive you dont go there 3 to 4 times a week the last time I went there alone 2 eggs bacon and ham with a coffee no potato more than $25.00 with the tip its is exaggerating.

The person who received us received us in a terrible way. We arrived at our favorite restaurant that we come to regularly and no one was waiting. He asked us if we wanted a bench and we asked how long to wait for a bench and the response was were not going to throw people out so you can have a bench quickly we never asked that we just wanted know to choose to take a table instead of waiting for a seat. In addition, no one and he tells us to wait for the other side where it is very hot. We are elderly and the heat affects us. We go back and ask him to stay where there is air conditioning, there is no one there. He says no and tells us to go where it s very hot. If there had been people there we would have given them space. Well because of this person we left. However, before that the service was exceptional, excellent.

For my part, I ordered a skillet . In the dish there must have been ham, sausages and bacon. Unfortunately, the dish only had bacon. The ham and sausage were absent. Additionally, I told the waitress that I was a big coffee drinker. Following this specification, I expected better service. Despite the additional $2.00, I had to ask, several times, to be served.

Even if the wait seems long, the meal will be filling! A must on your list of stops, you will come back often! If only for the Lunch Club, the Skillet, the Flamboyant, the eggs Benedict you will never be able to get tired of the menu.

I loved the atmosphere. And thank you to Marie-France who served me with kindness and a magnificent smile. Thank you again for this great gourmet experience for breakfast.

A BIG favorite for this place with its warm atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious. The dishes are sophisticated, we are far from the two eggs bacon pale sausage! The service is just as warm as the atmosphere!

For main courses, coffee is not included. The potatoes are SO good! The place is warm. The wait is a bit long, come early in the morning!

No error in my order Fast service Good food I was VERY VERY VERY OVER and it was my fault... I took the Cabane à Sucre special and I didnt read it like a stupid man.... On my plate there were no eggs or toast.... But its my fault... I didnt ask for more and I didnt finish my plates, we were a group of 8 and we were all satisfied!!!! And I tell you.... I am very difficult!!!! Hats off to the whole team.... Especially the kitchen because if the service is fast it is because the kitchen team... IS GETTING CHICKED!!!! BRAVO TEAM!!! THANK YOU! Certainly one of the best lunch restaurants. Their dishes are delicious, varied and very hearty. You have the added bonus of a beautiful fireplace in the center. The service was impeccable. Im not a fan of lunch restaurants in general but this one stands out.

I take the trouble to contact the restaurant the week before to find out if they accept reservations with deposit, I am told that no and that the wait is very short. We show up at the restaurant, we wait in line outside after 45 minutes we see that people who arrived after us are passing by so I spoke to the manager at reception to be told that you have to give your name and that it is like this since 2017, do him a lot of good, what would it have been like to say to the people waiting outside in the pouring rain: please give your name inside!!! the manager replied curtly: I would spend my time outside, certainly in this case put a poster on the door for those who it is their first time (the entrance hall was crowded with people waiting so we couldnt see anything and we can forget the plan to sneak inside to give our name) not great and like many we abandoned the idea and left. Coordination and logistics a big 0!!!

However, they do not take reservations, if you arrive after 8:00 a.m. you have to expect to wait in line, the coffee is charged $2 (but unlimited), to share your plates, except if you eat in the same dish, if they have an extra empty plate they charge $5. The portions are generous. Parking: Parking space large enough and easy to access. Kid-friendliness: My partner wanted to share her sugar shack plate with our 6 year old daughter. The waitress told us that to bring an empty plate to my daughter, we had to pay $5 (restaurant policy). But if our daughter ate from the same plate as my girlfriend, then there was no charge. So that s what we did. Wheelchair accessibility: No problem

It was the first time I went there this morning for a girls breakfast. I had the lunch wrap. Omg he was good. I havent even finished it all because its so nourishing. And what about the potatoes!!! Omg I have yet to taste such good potatoes in any lunch restaurant. They are soft with really good seasoning. Im definitely going back.

Food was ok, but they up charge for everything. I ordered bagle cream cheese, with fruits, and 2 eggs on the side. The fruits where 5 small grapes, 1 strawberry cut in half, a slice of unripe cantaloupe and honeydew melon, and a slice of watermelon. The total was $27, they chagared $8 for 2 eggs on the side, and coffe isnt included. Blainville has like 100 breakfast places. Avoid this one at all costs.

I was stuck in traffic and found Au Petit Chalet while I was making a detour! I am so glad I did! Au Petit Chalet is now my Number one breakfast restaurant! Will be going back all the time! The food is excellent! The ambiance is beautiful!

Nice place, good staff and delicious food. Their ham is delicious; to try! The portions are huge but for $5, you can share a plate. I find this load a little exaggerated (they justify it with an additional portion of potatoes) but the simple portion is very suitable for two normal people... Especially since they dont have any additional work to do because we have to separate the food ourselves. Im not a cheap person in life if I get what I pay for, but with all the prices in restaurants that have gone up so much, you wonder where its going to stop. In short, this practice may be widespread but I find it a shame. Small suggestion; perhaps offer less generous dishes for smaller appetites? All in all, an excellent place to discover if you havent already!

If its for lunch, I advise you not to go there. I think it was the worst outdoor lunch I have eaten. the strawberries were frozen and the potatoes were so soft! We haven t finished our snacks! the Benedictines were no worse on the other hand

This restaurant was formerly a Tutti Frutti and it was my first visit since it closed. Beautiful renovated restaurant with a nice little terrace, however the toilets are a little too narrow... The taste is tasty and price wise...a little expensive but the portions are generous so it makes up for it a little.

Very flat, I check before leaving the house to see if the business is open because I am leaving from afar, but it is not indicated that they are closed for the 2 weeks of construction. It would be the least you could do to change your opening hours on Google.

Long-time customers, on vacation we go to 4 different restaurants and this is the only one that charges $2 for extra coffee, $3 for gluten-free bread and $3 to replace soft potatoes with tomatoes. They exaggerate on the extras...We brought our points but without success. Were not going back there anymore unfortunately :(

The food was terrible! No flavour, very sad presentation, very greesee . It wasn t hot when served. The service was also bad. Very impersonal. Had to ask for water and coffee refill. The music was too loud.

We tried brunch and dinner, and both were excellent! Perfect service, the team is really friendly! The chalet atmosphere is cozy, everything you need to have a good time!

This was not my first visit here and I was not disappointed... again! My husband asked if he could have french toast without all the sides. No problem. I ordered the apple crepe. Coffee was plentiful, service was prompt, and Im sure well be here again. Last time I ordered the breakfast club. Be hungry for that! I managed to eat half and brought the rest home. My son (24 years old) ate the other half and was equally full. I read a comment about the ladies room so I had to visit to see just how small it was. The cubicle was ever-so-slightly smaller than a Costco one but the walls and door go down to the floor. That gives one the feeling of a smaller space. I didnt mind it. If that room is too small for you, use the larger one. Clean as a whistle and my husband said the same of the mens room.

Warm atmosphere. Reasonably priced at around $17/$21 per plate. Own. Food quality good. However, the tables are very close together. Great crowds during my visit. Parking available on site. 9/10.

I give one star and if you look at my profile, I mostly give 5 stars everywhere. When we enter the restaurant, a rather cold gentleman serves us a table. There arent many people, but a large closed section so we are all packed on top of each other. Our table was on the verge of being stuck on another couples table. We were witnessing a separation and we were very uncomfortable sitting with them. We expressed our discomfort to our waitress so that we could change tables and have some privacy. She didnt want to and gave us the menus. In 5 minutes she came to see us twice if we were ready to order. We mentioned that we wanted to change tables and that the restaurant was almost empty, it was 2 a.m. it closed in 1 hour... She told us that the tables further away were for if a large group arrived. Lets see his farm in 1 hour and were not comfortable sitting with strangers with a heavy subject. Categorical refusal in a cold manner. The restaurant is very beautiful, looking at the menu the prices are exaggerated, the people who work there have no human side. I cant believe this restaurant is so well rated. We asked for the bill for our two coffees and left.

Good food good portions, been here four times. All last 3 times I was served cold food. Bacon was cold, potatoes were cool and tasted like there were cooked the day before. I mean we pay good money, can we get at least warm or hot food?

Very nice place for lunch or brunch!!! Very different from basic lunch restaurants. I recommend it for any type of outing, for example: family, friends, meetings or alone .
