Too many extremely unpleasant people probably not even legal

I give 5 stars to the young man who picked up the vomit in the toilet on December 14, 2024. He had to do it twice in the evening, the urinal was overflowing with it! In his place, everyone would have crowned the job there. Respect dude you have a strong heart and a dirty will. I hope you got a bonus for that.

We were there for my goddaughters 16th birthday... a group of around 20 people installed in a very beautiful room with a superb atmosphere... on the other hand it was extremely cold despite the -7 outside... poorly insulated, poorly heated I dont know but we all had our coats on and were cold, especially our feet, despite the heating being turned up to maximum... we asked to see the manager who offered us a round of shooters!?! I remember sweet sixteen!?! After reminding him that it was a minors birthday, he offered us a hot chocolate to compensate for the 2.5 hours of freezing... in short, we didnt have any dessert and couldnt wait to be able to leave to warm it up in our vehicles... Our server was faultless, the food was almost perfect for everyone... the atmosphere was really good if the room had been adapted to Quebec lol

I didnt know there were shows with a dance floor some nights. The music is loud but the moment is very pleasant.

The food is good but the service really left something to be desired... I was never asked if I wanted something to drink, several errors in our orders, and even after notifying the errors we had the dish again with the same error... Several people had to report that things were missing from their orders... Really disappointing... It was probably just a bad evening because I see that the reviews are generally very good

The band plays way too long compared to the DJ. The people there really enjoy the bands. People go dancing during the DJ who only plays for 30 minutes and then when the band starts again for more than 1 hour people leave the dance floor and moan about the music.... its been like that every week for a while. .. maybe I should change bars haha ;)

Its honestly in my top 3 worst services. Reservation at 8 p.m., received the food at 10:15 p.m., never had a follow-up or asked if we wanted more alcohol after the initial service. Ill never set foot here again.

I have never seen such a disappointing dessert, I ordered a chocolate brownies with ice cream, I was given a pea for ice cream, a real Joke really disappointed with my experience and I wont talk about how that are generous with the fries, it was a real joke on my plate, really disappointing! On the other hand, the manager responded well by offering us a beer!

WOW never seen before! We held a funeral ceremony for Archibald de Blainville. The service was exceptional. The owner, manager and employees were extraordinary. They took care of us, listened to our needs and did absolutely everything to make the evening incredible. A DJ with music of my choice, stage for the urn, flowers and photos as well as the giant screen for the photos. Despite the context of the event, the guests mentioned that it was an evening that they will always remember and that it was a reflection of the deceased (father of my children). Everyone enjoyed the meal provided at the table. Nachos, 4 choices of pizza, popcorn chicken as well as fish tacos which went like hot cakes. Thank you so much for this evening!! I love you

Wow yesterday there was the music group Krush, they gave a good atmosphere with a good playlist. I hope they are there often! We stayed longer than expected

Excellent food, especially the Tartare au Deux saumons and the prosciutto pizza. Try it and you wont regret it! For drinks, try the Archibald sangria (blanche). Worthy! Im not a beer drinker... Its a big place with many choices of places to seat: standard small and long table, high bar tables, booths. Sometimes, theres a live concert going on, so call and reserve your table accordingly - because if you want to hear the other people youre going to the bar with, its best to choose a table far from the stage hehe There are plenty of free parking spots around as it is located in a commercial square area.

Didnt eat just had a drink and chilled with the live band was a great time, people seemed nice.

The dishes are good and the service is good but my god its expensive for very little. I ordered $55 worth of food BEFORE tax BEFORE tip and when I came out, I was still hungry. Hungry enough to go to dinner. Very disappointing

Dish of the month (haddock curry) emaciated, devoid of curry sauce, finished in 3 tasteless mouthfuls. Bland fish and chips. Childrens dish much more generous than adult dishes. Disappointment. Good beers.

I went on a Friday evening this summer, a young DJ was providing entertainment for the evening. (It wasnt the regular DJ I was used to seeing). I spoke to the DJ there if it was possible to play Latin music. He told me no and that if I wasnt happy to cross to the other side, pointing to the building next door (speaking of the restaurants that had a Latin atmosphere next door). I found a lack of respect towards the customers, he could have told me, no its not possible because its not planned or whatever....

My favorite restaurant chain in Canada. Traditional dishes, XXL portions. MURO menu. Trapper decoration. Excellent Archibald beer list. Regular customer for 5/6 years.

I often come to the Archibald, but this evening, I came there with family for the music and 15 minutes after we returned, the manager came to tell us that if we want to stay we must consume. I understand that he wants to make money, but it remains unprofessional to push customers to buy in my opinion and that can only leave a bitter taste. I advise against it, so for the moment with the present owner and this is not the first that I have seen him lying in wait in an unpleasant manner.

Traditional pub menu quite limited, everything is correct without being excellent, the beer is also correct. Good service and successful country decor. A little expensive for what it is but oh well.

Drunk employee showing impairment while on duty. On several occasions, he resorted to the bench seat to avoid wobbling. No attention to customers or their needs. An experience that he wont be the only one to forget...

Really sad that since the new administration they no longer accept points accumulated on the Archibald application!! These points are used to attract and keep your customers, it seems that they dont matter to you... strange mentality for a merchant... Customers be advised that your accumulated points will not be honored at the Blainville branch

I went to eat at Archibald in Blainville today, and to my great disappointment, the NEW OWNER has decided that he no longer accepts the redemption of points accumulated on the app. So no more promotions!! With the high cost of living, for me it was an incentive to go there. Promotions attract customers, to believe that he is above all that!!! On the other hand, very good service by Rosalie

The restaurant is well located, easy to access with the bathroom on the ground floor The employees are courteous. Everyone in our group decided to have poutine. It was unanimous, the dish was not to our taste. The arrangement of the ingredients did not match. That being said, the ingredients seemed to be of good quality. Good place to have a drink, nice heated terrace, watch the music groups which are very busy on weekends in general.

First stop in Canada as we venture inland to ride our motorcycles. Hoping to enjoy the roads and rides as much as the conversation and service we received from Stephanie. Lucky to have someone that speaks my language.

Didnt get any food so gave 3 . We walked in at 2h10am and couldnt get a drink at 2h15am not even a bottle of water. We were told to talk to the manager! Supposedly they close at 3am but the music was anemic until they invited the many guests to leave at 2h30am. Disappointed... miss the days before the gouvernement forced bars to close. They have a decent sound system.

The atmosphere is good but the service remains poor (endless waiting and a lot of forgetting) and the price versus the quality/quantity of the food doesnt make sense. $35 for 12 wings without spices or marinade $6 for the smallest container of frozen fries without taste. I recommend it for drinking a beer but not for eating.

The live band, the waitresses, the food, the atmosphere... You cant go wrong

Very disappointed with my second visit, food devoid of taste, everything was BAD apart from my chicken wings and the onion rings. The blood sausage only tasted like the puree underneath, the tartare tasted nothing, the cheese fondue was 4 cubes from Metro..., the salmon steak the same as the rest! I expected to have a beer served at the right temperature depending on the type and no, for a Stout aged in Bourbon barrels... they put it in the fridge at 4° and yet, even on the back of the bottle it is written to serve between 10° and 12°!!! Visually everything is neat, the plates are really beautiful but...

Super nice place. It was pretty empty for a saturday night with a band but time is tough for some those days. Food not very good and extremely expensive for the taste, choice and presentation. White wine choice was very limited. Band was OK but were playing too long so DJ time was too short. Will not go back for food and but for the cozy ambiance and noce ladies yes

Food and beer was good, but we needed to wait almost 20minutes to have the bill. And after receiving it, another 20 minutes to have someone to come to the table to pay it. After eating and drinking, all we want is go home and leave the space to other customers.

Onion soup not so bad, Black Widow Beer (Guinness type) not drinkable and didnt like the accompaniments for the Archibald Grill plate.

1st drink very long to have, average food, the polenta very floury lacks seasoning and sauce the slightly spongy pork does not fall apart at all and our table next to the filling of the glasses of water very noisy which made the hellish experience (non-stop noise of glass and bus boys talking loudly and continuously). To be greatly improved otherwise never go back again

Very busy. The service is good. The girls are doing their best. but 2 people behind the bar is not enough. Sales would be increased with more staff. Customers wait a long time during rush hour. Last week I tried the bbq chicken pizza. Correct nothing more. This week I opted for the beef tartare plate. Zero disappointments. A big 10/10. Tasty, not dry. Even the croutons werent too hard as is often the case almost everywhere. No need to break your teeth. Their beers are all excellent. This is a great place for singles. Lots of beautiful worlds. The place to date (45-60). I recommend. Arrive early and reserved for a seat. Yesterday the band was really good. It moved and danced

The food is exquisite (everything is prepared on site). Try the blood sausage and cod! The atmosphere is great in the evenings where the music is live. The service is also second to none!

When we booked I would have liked to know that we were placed on the closed terrace with a hockey team. The atmosphere and the noise are really not the same. The service was fast but the server was not attentive to my needs. I have a strong intolerance to an ingredient. In the description of the chosen dish it did not seem to have this ingredient. I confirmed with the waiter and he was convinced there was no such ingredient. When I received my dish, to the naked eye it was everywhere. He left with my dish, I had the impression that he simply packed the ingredient. The dish was very good, but I came back sick and vomited all night. So, certainly this ingredient was found elsewhere in the composition of the dish. An evening that cost us $200 for 4 to come back sick is a bit disappointing. Dietary restrictions: Be careful, we will not take your restrictions seriously.

First time here! I loved my experience

We came for the Super Bowl. We made a reservation and were told it was going to be full... too bad the restaurant was half empty. But the food was good and the service excellent. Still, the Super Bowl wasnt busy, well go back!

Im not going back here, I have no problem with the service or the prices but if I pay $40+ for a grilled dish I wasnt expecting a small portion of a childrens menu!! Be generous if you want loyal customers!!!!!!!!

Hello, I went on Saturday March 9 for my friends party, we had a room right next to the CEO and the groups training camp, the food was really good, the waiters and waitresses were impeccable, the CEO was solid, the group and the singer were just too crazy and Im paraplegic so I get around in a wheelchair and I asked to go to the employee bathroom because it was easier and adequate for my situation and no hesitation on their part and the manager and employees ensured that everything was suitable for me thank you! Wheelchair accessibility: I had no problem accessing the employee bathroom!

Good beer but expensive.

I had two meals of tartare to bring and a starter of parmesan cheese. The dishes were delicious and the quantity was also very satisfying. What should be hot was hot and what should be cold was too. Nothing was missing from the order and the service was excellent! By phone and at the restaurant reception when I went to pick up my order. Good day to you all!

Very disappointed with the salmon in the chalet menu. Portion of 3 small bites and cold. $7 a bite Yet in Ste-Foy the portion is double and hot. I was offered a coffee as compensation!! Which I refused.

Very bad service! Sitting at a table 3 girls arriving the waiter has absolutely no knowledge of beers. He tells us its because hes new. Ok we can understand very well but he should have had training. !!? After an hour of sitting we have to leave the table. Because we wanted to order dinner but it was already 6:15 a.m.... arriving at 5:15 a.m. We wouldnt have time to receive and eat our dishes. 2 men tell us that they are leaving the bar so invite us to take their seats because at the bar (as mentioned on the phone during my reservation and by the waiter as well) there is no reserved place, it is first come. .. the barmaid comes to see us after 5 minutes to tell us that we have to leave!!???? We mention that it was the waiter and the hostess who told us it was okay. Shes not happy. They talk to each other and phew finally its correct. We order a pitcher of sangria and a starter. After 45 mins. She comes back and says there are 3 of us and its not more than 2. IN THE OTHER CORNER THERES 3 girls sitting together at the bar for 2 hours. She mentions that she will tell them too. Which she doesnt do! We wanted to order another pitcher and our meal. And we were off!?? Unacceptable. And the squid was rubbery and very peppery. I wouldnt serve this at home. We will never go to the Archibald again! We had to eat elsewhere. And we went to Zibo where the service and food were impeccable.

Excellent service and wow food!! The special hot chicken on the chefs menu is absolutely delicious!! Only one small downside was the music blaring from the speaker above us.

The price of the beers is not written anywhere on the menu. How can this be legal? Furthermore, we are impatiently awaiting a choice of non-alcoholic beers at Archibald! Apart from this, very good service, very beautiful decor and very generous dishes!

If you like fish & chips you have to try it. It melts in your mouth with a very good tartar sauce and spicy mayo. Plus their beer is very good. I advise you to reserve a table on the bar side, for the atmosphere and the shows.

Worst Thursday ever, the waitresses are incapable, 1 hour to be served a drink, they look stupid and tell us they are cheap. Worst night ever!!

Bar service 1/10 its hell for all the drinks wait 10 minutes and when the bar is full we have no place to order, apart from the place where the boss boys pass, really not efficient. All in all, me and my friends drink half of what we would like because of the bar service, we need to improve this point without a doubt. SUGGESTION : Free up a place so that customers can order without being in the way of the staff Or open another place to order (another bar) The rest are perfect

Lovely place serving their own excellent beers. Archibald have been brewing my favourites for years now, and having a restaurant by their brand is pretty cool. Food is good, some of it clearly brought in, but I havent had anything bad there yet. Strongly recommended.

Friday November 3, 2923, SUPERB atmosphere with a talented rock band. People were dancing and the vibe was incredible. Wow, it was our first time at this place and we will come back! Excellent service and food!

Amazing service tonight! Live music not too loud just perfect! Very good singer. I have to say our server was absolutely wonderful. Living with food allergies, he gave me wonderful advice and I was able to enjoy a delicious meal and cocktail! I highly recommend it!

Food is always exquisite. Theres a permanent and a changing menu worth trying. Vegetarian options: Only a few items on the menu are vegetarian and are well identified.

Our group was passing through the area and we decided to try this location. When we arrive, the lady at reception informs us that we have to store our coats in the cloakroom and then she takes us to a cold row with several people with these coats. I wasnt happy. But, my friends wanted to taste the beer. Too bad, the food was good. But, my experience was broken by a policy that was not enforced for all customers. I have nothing more.
