Ben & Florentine in Blainville

Once or twice a year I have lunch there...I have never been disappointed!!

Very noisy. Lots of people.

Unlike all the other good reviews, we did not have good service. The lady didnt listen to us. Too fast. She asks a question and doesnt wait for the end of the sentence. We seemed to disturb her. We werent many customers, maybe 6 or 8 max. We arrived at 2 p.m., others arrived well after us. The staff preferred to hurry up with their closing which they started at 2:25 p.m. We had to get up, put on our coats and ask for the bill for the waitress to come to us. Our plates were as if we were being served leftovers. In short, it was not a good experience at all. This doesnt make me want to go back at all.

Nice menu options, good and varied food. The waitresses were nice, but expeditious. It looked like they were circling around our table, rushing to pick up our plate. However, the restaurant was not full. Also quite ordinary is the fact of offering brown, white or household bread and then charging extra at the end for household bread without warning.

Very sad atmosphere, during the entire duration of my visit, the only concern of the waiters was whose turn the next customers would arrive, discussion on the sections and which waitresses would serve whom. We ask for a seat and we are refused because it is not in the section of the waitress whose turn it is, we are placed next to a noisy table of 6 and there are only two of us and no one else in the section All we hear about is that no follow-ups on order, no coffee refeel! Nothing pleasant!!!

Saturday morning, busy but not too busy. It was very good, I took the Avocado Lox and the Coconut & Donut Combo for children. They give a little activity booklet for children too.

We went there on a Monday for dinner with work colleagues, several tables for a total of 20 people. The service was quick and efficient. The server Sonia is just adorable and super friendly. I recommend

We go there regularly as a family and we always have excellent, fast service, despite the busy Sundays. Good plates with fresh fruit. We recommend.

Our waitress had too many tables in her section. The service suffered. We waited a good 15 minutes before the waitress took our order. Then a good 5 minutes to bring us the condiments. Usually the service is good, but this time it wasnt strong! Its a shame.

A place that you cant see very well from the street, you should know that there is a restaurant hidden in this small hamlet of commerce in the indoor parking lot of the Starbucks and the TAU natural food store on Michèle-Bohec. .. I went there twice with a friend in April and I loved having lunch there! The service is impeccable and the food delicious! I highly recommend this place! Oh and they have a little terrace which is great when the weather is really nice!!

Of all places to have lunch. I love going to Ben and Florentine in Blainville. Always very clean, the servers are courteous and polite, the food is as requested (I am demanding with eggs and pancakes must not be on the same plate and my meats.....) despite my multiple requests. The price is comparable to other lunch restaurants, however you have more on your plate and I often receive good discounts which are very appreciated

I go to this restaurant often and we are always well received. Today we arrived at 2 p.m. (closing time 3 p.m.) and when I asked the waitress if we could eat she told us it was a little late but it would be okay.... In short we felt very bad and we left. I would have understood at 2:45 p.m. but 1 hour before closing I think its exaggerated. P

Well done my champions when I order brown bread and no one gives me white bread. When I order brown bread on Uber Eats you just dont put any bread. Its like several times. Where did you go to find your employees?

Ive been to Ben&Florentine in the past and wasnt particularly impressed, but when I went back recently I found it really good. The waffles were particularly good. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fruit portion was larger than average.

We have always been going to this place for quite a while. Always great service. And we missed you during the pandemic closure. Proud to invite friends who didnt know this restaurant, we arrived early and the coffee arrived... 17 minutes after our arrival. The waitress asked us what we wanted, we asked her for a menu because there were elderly people with us, she made the rather embarrassed remark to us that there were menus with scanners on the placemats and the table. She tells us that we should have told the first girl (good reception from this one by the way). We told her ok but we wanted one anyway, which she did. Then took our order and the rest went well until then ok. After paying, several minutes later she told us that she was expecting a large group. There was no one at the door. So we were shown the door. If there had been a line, we would have understood. We are not stupid. This waitress speaks quite strongly to other colleagues (experience experienced during our regular visits) and thats why we didnt want to be with this person but we didnt have that choice today. Ben and Florentine, Blainville you are excellent but disappointed with our visit today because of just one person.

The waitress service was impeccable and when she told us that she had only been working at the restaurant for 3 days we were really impressed! The prices are affordable and the decaf is fresh. Always good service! On the other hand, regular coffee leaves something to be desired, dont hesitate to have a special coffee which will be much better. Vegetarian options: vegetarian dishes are indicated on the menu. Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of space Kid-friendliness: childrens menus available, paper and pencils to entertain them

(In times of pandemic) I came in one morning to order takeout and the waitress there dared to yell at me that I had to call in advance to order, asking me to leave aggressively and that I was irresponsible.. Wow! This was written absolutely nowhere that you only took orders by telephone. You can be sure that no one I know will ever set foot in a Ben & Florentine again! I immediately went to Pétinos next door... its funny I was able to order and even wait for my order inside without any insults..

Excellent quality and extraordinary service even considering the high traffic on this rainy Sunday morning. Paid for 7 people and left a very good tip.

Completely shitty service, you arrive and this is what they say to you: hello, here is your table and you have 75 minutes to eat at your table...and there are 5 people and if you are unfortunate enough to ask for a menu we will just give 1 and no more because its one per table....hostess looks like a robot, super stupid waitress....we sweep and mope in the middle of the dining room while everyone eats!! next time go eat at petinos, its better, the team is more fun and human......in 2 k dont go there on the weekend its unpleasant.

Very poor service. The waitress seated people a foot away from us. We asked to swap places given the distancing in force then she came back to see us to tell us that we were wrong. I received my eggs burst and she was very insolent from the start. Im allergic to paprika, I asked for the potatoes on another plate and my potatoes were all over my eggs and French toast. It was not a good experience and I do not recommend this restaurant.

Too bad I love brunching at a restaurant but 55 minutes to have a cold breakfast with errors in the order and not very good is very disappointing. Our plates had clearly been left on the stove for too long, the egg yolk was cooked and the cheese which had melted had returned solid...

A mens toilet for everyone in the restaurant. No paper in the dispenser and tap too high for children. Taste: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Family: 1/5
