Great experience. The Royal aperitif lacked sparkle as if the proseco had been open for a while. For the rest everything was perfect. I highly recommend the tuna steak.

No respect for its neighbor, the Café depot next door, full of students and customers looking for a quiet place on Saturday evening, big boom boom of crap music that resonates in the walls for hours. Some people leave the place at the café unable to bear it. From my side, it doesnt even make me want to visit or invite people to this restaurant with this lack of respect.

What a great discovery this M&M Bistro was, I loved my experience from A to Z! Excellent value for money, the menu is varied for all tastes, very difficult to make a choice! Beautiful little restaurant that I loved having close to home so I could come back more than once a week!

I went there for the first time on 2024-06-04 for a birthday and I liked my experience. It was really hot that evening, but I still ate on the outdoor patio. As the restaurant is located next to Labelle Boulevard, it is still a little noisy, I think it would have been better inside. I had a Mojito which was excellent and well measured to comment. My partner had an Aperol Spritz which she also liked. We took the table dhôte. The soup was curried cream of cauliflower and it was excellent. The beetroot and Feta starter was also very good. I had mushroom gnocchi as a main course and it was good, but lacked a little touch of freshness. Its quite a heavy dish, I think the fact that it was really hot outside didnt help. My partner really liked her salmon tartare. The service was good, but nothing exceptional. In the end, Im happy with my evening, but it wasnt Wow. I dont know if I will go back there in the future.

I discovered this magnificent Bistro with my partner, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the food and the atmosphere, the table dhôte prices were really affordable compared to other restaurants, and the food was delicious. I recommend it without hesitation

We took a table dhôte and for 3 courses, starter, main course and dessert. The quality of the food was very good with a nice complementarity between the choice of ingredients. The food menu is pretty good too. The service is fast and so is the atmosphere of the restaurant. For two, you should expect to pay around $100+ for a great evening!

I didnt like the service, we couldnt even have our drink before the quiet meal. The waitress asks us for 10 minutes; have you chosen your meal, and ended up telling us that our kitchens are closing soon. tsé when you booked at 7:30 p.m. (reservation which had problems with the young woman at the reception) he should warn us when arriving of this and not attack us... I felt rushed... the food was good

I want to say that the service we received from our waitress was excellent. I had the 4-course table dhôte and my friend decided to go à la carte. The potato soup was creamy and had a nice texture in the mouth. The cod accras was good, but it was three really, really small bites. The disappointment was the salmon tartare that my friend and I both had. The tartare was bathed in its juice and did not seem freshly made. We didnt taste the raspberry, this dish really didnt impress us, especially at the price of $31. The crème brûlée with a touch of raspberry was exquisite. I was only allowed one cream since I was on the 4-course menu and my friend who was on the menu received 2. So, the portions are reduced with the 4-course menu.

Great discovery last night. Beautiful, well-decorated restaurant with unpretentious but delicious cuisine. The broccoli and fennel velouté, cod acras, salmon tartare, beef tartare and crème brûlée were all very good. What can we say about Kathrines kindness, yes, a beautiful attitude that unfortunately we see less and less often. Its Labor Day weekend which probably explains why there were few people so the atmosphere was a bit quiet. Do we recommend? Of course.

Difficult for me to give stars. The food was excellent. Best salmon tartare ever eaten. Unfortunately the waitress looked really tired from the end of her shift.

Lets go for the positive first: Courteous, friendly and fast service. Good atmosphere. The basic drinks are well done. Several choices of wine by the glass. Good selection of wine. To improve: On the other hand, the food side is rather average. Soup too flavored. The gravlax starter lacked taste and was funny presented. The main course shoulder (pulled pork type) reused a variation of the soup in the base and it looked like a grocery store salad had been placed there. (I didn t finish the plate) Rather average desert.

Wow. What more can I say. Little discovery. The food is excellent, the staff are exceptional. Winning formula for a great evening. Congratulations to the owner(s) and their staff. People are very respectful of our needs and our privacy. We had a lovely evening.

A good bistro with a menu that changes seasonally. I took the duck egg roll starter, there are two very good ones and this starter could be shared because it was a large portion, I then had the Indian butter chicken as a main course, I would have liked with just a small a little more sauce and to finish the dessert the Catalan cream with churros. Good meal and very good service.

With the reviews I had read, I expected more. I had the beef tartare and I never had the fried plantains that came with it, my partner had a cold puree in his main course and the rest lukewarm. For dessert, it was a failure, store-bought profiteroles not fresh, I didnt finish them (and Im a fan of this type of dessert). The atmosphere was nice and the service very courteous. Discovered by chance, we had no expectations. We broke the table d hôte. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. And the prices are very reasonable. We will return with pleasure. Its worth the trip!

The music of the singer (who sings very well) was too loud, we were seated at the first table next to the cook (at the back), and we had trouble hearing each other. The food is okay, nothing more!

The somewhat dull decor shouldnt discourage anyone from trying it. It was very good! We chose the table dhôte and everything was excellent. The velouté, the shrimp accrat starter, the steak with potatoes and the dessert.

This restaurant was featured in an article on The Best Restaurants on the North Shore of Montreal and the Google reviews were excellent so I couldnt wait to discover it! There were three of us and none of us were upset: the food was just okay. It was a little noisy and the service was also rather slow, but there was a group of twenty at the next table, so maybe thats the reason. Overall, Im glad I tried it, but I wouldnt recommend it.

I was at the dinner, Christmas party where I work, Residence du Marche on December 2, 2021, let me tell you that the food, the service and the welcome were outstanding, nothing was left out if it was a 4 course exquisite it melted in the mouth I couldnt stay for dessert because I had just left the hospital, but Im sure they enjoyed it. Hats off to the chef and his staff even in times of pandemic everyone was stupid thank you with all my heart for everything

After seeing the good comments and the website, we booked for 20 people to celebrate a birthday. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! The prices were double what was advertised online - and the manager replied Well, our website is out of date, dont trust that! Pardon ??????? Nothing on their website, menu and prices, was up to date! We never asked for a group menu and by default thats what we were given. Our choices were much more limited and not suitable for all of us. Arrogantly, when I asked the waitress if I could see the regular menu, she slipped the group menu onto the page to hide the table dhôte, telling me Thats the menu. WOW, why so much arrogance???? A table of around $2000 with the wine and the plates that we had. Unfortunately first and last time for us. Very disappointing experience! We do not recommend.

I ordered one of their fruit/vegetable boxes that they posted on Facebook, for $40, I was very disappointed, 3 large carrots almost out of date, pucked apples, moldy potatoes, I Im in the restaurant business and I know $40 worth of fruits/vegetables when I see it.. very disappointing.. Hoping there were people luckier than us! They were nice to offer us spaghetti sauce

It s expensive for the small quantities we received compared to what was announced. My boyfriend called them and got hung up on after a Well, I don t know what to tell you. We do not recommend doing deals for fruit and vegetable baskets.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Honestly one of the best dinners of my life. As a starter, a sweet potato and goats cheese soup was delicious with little touches of popcorn. The crispy brie starter is divine and if you like scallops they were perfect. Main meal, filet mignon was cooked perfectly, small but with the potatoes and vegetables it was perfect. We had one dessert of each and the chocolate caramel was WONDERFUL!!! The best of 3! Our waitress Catherine a gem we will come back.

The waitress was very intrusive, on a Tuesday at 5:15 a.m. there was no one in the restaurant. She came to take our order 5 times in 10 minutes. Very expensive for very small quantity.

A PURE DELIGHT A fresh menu that varies according to the seasons and events. No need to go looking in Montreal with a restaurant of this category on the North Shore. In addition, Friday entertainment combines dinner/show at no additional cost.

Bad experience with tuango coupon. Not the same menu as when purchasing the coupon, the dishes offered on the menu were disappointing. We returned our main course. Fortunately the service was courteous but we still go to the restaurant for the food above all. I consider it a lack of respect for its customers to lure us to the bistro with a menu and once there it is not the same menu. Unfortunately we only have one chance to make a good impression and it was very disappointing.

The waitress arrived with the main course, forgetting our 2nd starter after waiting 1 hour to be served!! Arrived at 7:30 p.m., left at 10 p.m.!!! Never seen such a long service!! We will maybe return for lunch (because it is very different from the evening) but never again for dinner.

Good food good service but prices are way too high

It was an ok experience. Expensive yet not fully up to par with the food imo. Gnocchis are to die for and the epaule de porc à la portuguaise was something else. But the cannelloni was too sweet tasting along with some other items. Unfortunately it s trying to be a high end restaurant and we ve been to many of those around town and I m sorry to say I m not satisfied enough to go back. I understand we have different taste buds but it s not worth to me and wife to go back again.
