Reservation at 7:30 p.m. for 32 people for a surprise party. We were asked to arrive at 7:00 p.m. Another group present so table had at 8:20 p.m.... order taken around 8:45 p.m.... there are 5 of us at the table and we are served 4 loaves and 3 butters. We had to ask three waiters to get some bread and butter...The waiters have excuses for everything...they even made a mistake on my bill...we wont go back thats for sure

We had a reservation and it was 1 hour 15 minutes late. So we waited standing in the entrance and nothing was offered to us. The arancini were good, on the other hand for the pizza, I like a thin crust, but it was almost non-existent and therefore all soggy from the tomato sauce. The service was very ordinary, we always had to ask 3-4 times to get what was missing and the waiters always had a reason... It is unlikely that we will return there given the wide range of quality restaurants in the area.

Its like a private party for staff and a few regulars. The hostess was so dazed and confused that even with reservations she never quite understood why we were there. Kinda like a madhouse that is ran by entitled nobodies. Very strange and dissapointing place. Because of Blainville location, I will never set foot in any other Monza anywhere. Times are getting tougher. Your terrible management and service training here hopefully will shut you down before other properly ran establishments around you.

The service was very good, the waiter kind and present. The decor is amazing and everything was clean. On the other hand, I ordered a dish of pasta primavera, which I am used to eating in another branch of the same banner, and the dish arrived with tomato sauce. I told a waiter and he said they forgot to tell me, and that the chef has the freedom to choose what he does with the dish. Ok no problem its a communication error he brings the dish back to the kitchen to make me one without tomato sauce. I mention that usually it is a white wine sauce (which is what it says on the menu) They bring me my dish, with a creamy sauce. I mention that its not what Im used to eating at the other branch and that its supposed to be an oil sauce with white wine and that its not creamy. I was told you should have told me that it was oil pasta you wanted! (This is not what I wanted, it was what was written on the menu that I would have liked) I am also told that it is always made with parmesan and white wine sauce (it depends on the places you have to believe). They brought me the pasta a third time, it is very clearly in oil, it is so bathed in it that every mouthful drips. The cutting of the vegetables was completely uneven and several of the vegetables were raw (red peppers, zucchini and cherry tomatoes) the rapini (there were only 2 very uneven branches) was fibrous and very undercooked. I felt like I was eating buttered pasta with no seasoning, I even had to add salt (something I never do at a restaurant). The first ingredient in the menu is garlic but it was nowhere to be found. My partner had a pasta dish with seafood, the scallops were very small and not very present, only 2 shrimps and very ordinary in taste. She also had the arancini, the risotto was mushy and the sauce tasteless. The dishes were garnished with green onion, I guess thats a choice, but in the dishes we ordered, it didnt make sense. The bill was high for the dining experience we had and no compensation was offered. We wont be returning, its a shame because the restaurant is very beautiful and the service great.

I loved the atmosphere, the decoration, the extremely sweet and kind waitress who listened to comments, the food was excellent. However, we didnt like the brownies as dessert; we found them very dry. We mentioned it to the waitress and she didnt charge it for our order. We will definitely come back to this place

The Monza in Laval is one of our favorite places. This evening for Valentines Day we wanted to try the new one in Blainville. Arriving at 6:00 p.m. we ordered a drink, when the glasses arrived we ordered the meal. 45 minutes later empty glasses and meal not arriving. Then it took 45 minutes to manage to pay the bill (and we werent the only ones waiting...) to see our server taking hot shots with a known customer. When we finally got there the only thing that said to me was sorry we were short staff Why make 3 tables wait for so long and want to leave and pay? This is the most important thing, making customers pay and being close with them... if you are short staff cutting tables versus running at full capacity and having such poor service. 2 hours to eat pasta and a salad!!!

We ate the oven pizza of course and it was very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent but the speed of service needs to be improved a little. On the other hand, you really need to improve your fried squid, it looks like youre buying those from the brand, our compliments, not very good. For the rest we liked it.

We are regulars at Monza in Laval. We went to eat on a Saturday evening. The welcome was good, but the food oufff . Caesar salad: lettuce cut with a knife soggy because of the vinaigrette which was frankly unpleasant, too much vinegar, too many croutons, no bacon and a few minimal pieces of parmesan Arugula salad: tasteless, too much oil, wilted arugula leaves Arancini: normally its 2 arancini, we only received one, the rice was overcooked, potato texture and the frying before looked funny, very average taste, tomato sauce too acidic Squids: these squids are in no way those we had already eaten elsewhere, frozen commercial squid, elastic texture. Bruschetta: 5 small, soggy, tasteless bruschettas When serving dishes, no utensils or napkins are present. Needless to say, we wont be going back.

Very disappointed. Table and booth werent clean, crumbs everywhere. It was 5pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty..a few people in the bar area and thats it. Theres no reason for tables and seating not to be clean. My husbands pizza wasnt as good at the pizza at no900. Waitress was slow..no reason for service not to be 100% and no reason for the place not to be perfect...restaurant needs to work on their cleanl8ness staff and focus on their clients in order to get repeat business

We had high hopes for this establishment. Tried the take out, never again! Ordered butternut squash ravioli with crispy prosciutto . for $22, one small piece of crispy prosciutto. I guess if you want taste you need to pay extra. The carnivoro pizza was bland and to quote my son it reminded him of the high school pizza parties. First time in my life I throw away pizza! To bad. We will not return. Industria is much better and only a minute away.

We were very disappointed with your restaurant. We ordered calamari and they were lukewarm almost cold, the waiter recommended some, they were hot but not chewable and tasteless. Afterwards, we waited almost an hour for our main meal. My husbands lasagna was hot and good, on the other hand, my plate of seafood linguini, hum! I only ate a little pasta, my 3 shrimps. As for the mussels, squid and scallops, they were cold and not edible. The waiter offered to order mussels for my pasta, there they were hot but stiff. It looked like they put them in the microwave. At the price of the dish, frankly! I will never recommend your restaurant to our friends.

Having been to other locations (downtown Montreal, West Island, Laval), we expected to have a good evening but as you can see from this rating, we were beyond disappointed. We will never return to this location again! It started with no one to greet us, we waited almost 5 minutes before someone came to see us! We had a reservation and it still took awhile to get seated. We were seated at the bar, expecting that service would be better, especially since we were the only people seated there (btw 2 people were working the bar). We ordered the calamari & Funghi Misti pizza as well as a beer and a glass of wine. The calamari was ok, the pizza on the other hand was just sad and not to mention cold. Definitely not up to the standards that we had previously experienced at the other locations. Now youd think being seated at the bar that if your glass is empty, that it would be a cue to ask the customer if they would want another, but no... so we had to wave down the server to order another beer...which never came!!! There is a definite lack of management and/or proper training being done at this location. All that to say, I would not recommend going here.

For the atmosphere and the service I would give a score of 5/5. The food overall was good but I dont recommend the squid because its very rubbery!

There were 3 of us this Friday who ate at this restaurant. One had ordered a gnocchi dish; These were not cooked enough, very mushy, inedible. Another before ordered the lasagna with meatballs and it was VERY cold both outside and inside. This gives the impression that the dish had been left on a counter for too long. For my part I had a pizza with fries and it was good. On the other hand, I would have appreciated having a side of mayo with my fries but no one came back to see us at the meal table.. so I couldnt ask for any. As for service a big ZERO. We had the waitress named John E and his service was almost non-existent. We asked for bread and he never came back with it . Extremely slow service he never came to see us again after giving us our plates to ask us if it was to our taste . It was only once our plates were finished that he came to serve. We told him of our disappointments and he did nothing... When we got to dessert he left his dessert menu at our table without saying a word and leaving just as quickly . We would have appreciated compensation for this culinary disaster. Also, I believe that there is a minimum of courtesy and service that the server should have we were really neglected. However, I had a great experience on several occasions at Monza in Laval. We will not return to your restaurant again.

We will definitely go back there because we loved our culinary experience. Parking: Huge parking lot in the Blainville outlet restaurant. Can be quite busy near restaurants. On the other hand, we park a little further from the restaurant and walk.
