The worst experience I have ever had in terms of customer service, to the point that the owner started arguing with me due to poor logistics on his part and challenging me to publish my experience on social media. I asked the mothers if you would let them put their children between 8 and 9 years old on the other side of the restaurant alone...? I found it absolutely ridiculous. We had to leave with 6 children and 14 adults to wander around another restaurant. absolutely lack of professionalism, no intention of wanting to solve the problem and a very aggressive and disrespectful treatment on the part of the said owner, about your answer. what can we do with such good food when the customer service is terrible and I'm not talking about the waiters but rather the manager of the establishment, thanks to your unprofessionalism we found a top 1 restaurant across the street ZIBO I recommend excellent food and customer service client A1.
A Birthday Ruined by Poor Management and Terrible Customer Service. 😡 I booked at Baton Rouge two weeks in advance to celebrate a friend’s birthday with a group of 12 people and 5 children. Since the system only allowed reservations for up to 8 people, I followed their guidelines and made two separate reservations, both confirmed without issue. Upon arrival, we were denied entry because both reservations were made with the same email address. Shouldn’t a restaurant that values its customers anticipate situations like this and offer real solutions? The only ‘solution’ offered was a table for 8 people and another table for 3 children in a separate area. How do they expect a birthday celebration to be split like that? I explained to the person who introduced himself as the owner that, in my email, I had clearly noted that the two tables were part of the same reservation. His response? That I should have called. Why allow email reservations if vital details like these are ignored? We tried to reason with him, but his response remained cold and lacking empathy. To make matters worse, instead of offering any genuine assistance, he simply said, ‘I can’t do anything more. You messed up, we messed up… and sorry, I have more customers.’ Is this the kind of treatment to expect from a restaurant that prides itself on service? Is this how customer relationships are handled on special occasions? We were forced to leave with the kids in the chilly autumn night, desperately looking for another place to dine. This experience not only ruined our celebration but also left us wondering: is this how Baton Rouge values its customers? The lack of organization, the dismissive response, and the complete lack of empathy were shocking. I would not recommend Baton Rouge to anyone who values good treatment and respect on important occasions. What’s the worth of a restaurant that only sees its customers as just another number?😡
It was a good surprise! The atmosphere is very comfortable - which I could not guess from outside. I felt I could stay there for hours. Great for a friends gathering, btw! Staff is bilingual, cordial, and fairly quick. Excellent choices of drinks and coffee. And on the food menu, there's something for every taste. I ordered the surf and turf with fries and a side of mac and cheese. The latter was great, very well prepared. The main dish, although tasting really good, disappointed me regarding the size. Looked way bigger in the menu. Fries were really good, too. I also ordered a Bailey's coffee at the end, and it was fantastic 👌
I visited this restaurant with colleagues for a 5 à 7 and had a great time. The food was decent, the service was excellent, though the prices felt a bit high for the quality offered. Located within a commercial district in Boisbriand, it’s surrounded by plenty of stores, and there’s a large free parking lot, which is convenient. This spot is ideal for business lunches, dinners, or a casual 5 à 7.
Went there for supper with my son. Service was good. We got our food within 15 minutes of sitting down. But the food had no taste. I ordered the chicken tender plate and my tenders were so small they looked like chicken nuggets. No chicken inside just breading. My son ordered the chicken and ribs plate and his ribs were dry and there was no chicken in the tenders. Not worth $80. Would not recommend this restaurant.
The place presents a warm ambience. They make you feel welcome. That day it was quiet and perfect for spending time with your loved one. The food is good. The pork ribs were excellent.
Here is my review about this place. 1- Decoration 7/10 so the decoration is ok but the same for a couple of years and they could do better. There are some places where it's a bit Neglected. But overall, good. 2- service 7/10 The waiters and waitress are okay, but I just find that he wasn't that motivated, or maybe he just had a bad day. Usually, there is an interaction between clients and waiters or waitresses. 3- food 8/10 The food was good , I had steak , grilled Octopus, and had the bloody Caesar. But ask for medium and get rare, the salad was a bit soggy. 4- Ambiance 7/10 The ambiance was ok but not as warming or fun as other places I have been. 5- Cleanest 9/10 it was clean , nothing on the seat and restroom were properly clean and smell good. I have not been here in a while and nore does it taste like the old days. Very saucy and loaded with sugar. My bank manager brought me here. Potatoe was good. Shrimp just ok.

There were 6 of us at the restaurant on Saturday evening December 7th WOW what service from Vincent, he was so attentive to us, we ate very well, hats off to Vincent, dont give up, big guy, you give good service.

My wife and I were at the Boisbriand BR yesterday September 14 and left there yesterday very disappointed. Firstly, the portions of ribs and chicken tenders were halved and the quality of the chicken was very poor.. we were not offered coleslaw which was always included with the meals as usual. Prices are increasing and quality is decreasing...wow...thats not reassuring. We wont be going back to this place again... Its unbelievable.
We tried 3 times to order through Uberb Eat...,. The restaurant never received our order. Because of the lack of a promotional code... We called twice and no help received from the manager of the establishment really the technology (uber eat is really deficient.... A loss of over $200 on top of that a loss of confidence in your restaurant given that we went there more than 20 times a year long live the days when it was easy to call, order and have it delivered........

Total disappointment! We often came with my children and since their new menu the portions have become ridiculously small! The childrens portions are so monumental that even with the ice cream they are still hungry... clearly the red stick is not worth the money it costs to get there

And what about the children s menus!!! Out of 5 children, 2 took pasta with rosé sauce, so not even any protein in the sauce. After speaking with the manager, he says its the BR recipe for 5 ounces of pasta... lets see for 9 and 10 year olds its ridiculous. 1 of our children didnt even have this on the plate. After mentioning it the response is just disappointing. For $170 I am really, really disappointed with the portions. I thought I was having a great time with my family... Its certain that I will never go back there. Thanks to the waitress for trying to help us anyway.

The waiter was super nice and funny, several interesting cocktails (I dont drink sparkling) portions were good, the only downside was our friend ordered the flank steak with baked potato and he received fries and the manager wanted the plate back in full to make the replacement instead of just bringing the potato, we agree that he did not want to eat his cold flank steak so he refused but the waiter managed to make the manager understand that this was not happening.. .

Very rarely do I give rather negative ratings. No lunch menu so bill of $105 for 2 with tip.. (no alcohol). The raised sides are delicious, the chicken has no taste unlike elsewhere. Good service nothing more. Unfortunately next time I will go elsewhere sorry
Bâton Rouge Restaurant in Boisbriand, Impeccable service, that was the strong point, unfortunately, the food was very disappointing and the bloody Caesars seemed to be diluted in water., we ordered two plates of Thai Steak Salad, for medium cooking desired was not respected to be borderline calcined, and for the other the quality of the meat more than unsatisfactory, it was of a quality of meat for those who like to chew. It s very disappointing, especially since today with the cost of living, going to a restaurant with family is closer to being an event. The server apologized, but the experience left a negative impression, calling into question the restaurants reputation. This was the second and last time that this chain disappointed me in terms of the quality of the meals and for us Baton Rouge is over. Bon appetit!

Truly INCREDIBLE service! wow! Very nice restaurant! A rack plate of ribs, an excellent shrimp skewer, a good portion of tasty coleslaw, a large portion of fries! Only problem, the size of the rack leaves much to be desired and I dont know their cooking method or because we were at the end of the evening but the meat was rather dry, it was not there on this side... One $45 plate that wasnt worth it

We did a reservation 5 days before, for my daughters birthday, because we know that on Saturday night the place is full. When we arrived...surprise!!! theres no reservation and we had to wait for a free place. Disappointing for all of us. We ordered some calamars and soups, that was fast, but for the main dishes, OMG... 30 to 40 minutes more to arrive and just warm not really hot. Me and my daughter had their famous ribs and for some reason, it doesnt taste as juicy as it once did. Basically is the box version that they sell in the grocery stores for 10 bucks but here it is for 30. Sauce kind of sweet and without any flavor...honestly a 4/10, Fries were good, and coleslaw was so so. It has been 16 years visiting this restaurant but not sure to return again. They are lowering the quality and its sad to see this because never experienced this in the past.

I went to eat with a friend last night at the Baton Rouge. What a great experience. We were treated to a warm welcome and impeccable service from Myriam who listened to our needs and gave us remarkable service. Present but discreet, available but not intrusive, Myriam brought something extra to our evening. Really a red stick that I recommend and where I plan to return.

Its a shame that when we arrived at reception we were told that we only had 2 hours to eat. So time is about making money and there is no longer the quality of time spent around a table at a restaurant taking the time to enjoy meals and cocktails. So it was stressful to eat quickly and leave!! Personally, this kind of stress that we give to the customer tarnishes the entire restaurant. All the quality of your restaurant goes back to zero. I paid $260 without having time to eat dessert and I regret having lost so much money.

We had two different burgers. They looked nothing like the photos. The beef patty was dry. Almost no bbq sauce in the burger. I added ketchup myself. The pork burger was better, but cheap. It looked like the ingredients were just pitched in. A piece of lettuce for a quarter of the burger. I have eaten 1000 times better elsewhere for less money. I dont understand the popularity behind this restaurant. We pay for the brand, not for the service and especially not for the quality. I already had a filet mignon there and this was the last one. Plus I have to ask for water refill, no one comes. In short, it was bad and cheap. Theres no way Im going back there. I gave them 3 chances. It was always disappointing and too expensive for nothing.

Excellent bar side service and generous portion
I have been to this Bâton Rouge several times and it is probably my favourite BR restaurant so far. It s been consistent every time and the food portions and dishes are always very good. Something you should expect from this restaurant. The most recent visit was the week of restaurants reopening and it was simply delicious. I didn t feel rushed like in other Bâton Rouge establishments where they practically kick you out. I want to let the team know that Camille who was working Friday June 26, is possibly the nicest waitress I ve had in a long time. I m very keen on good service and she really does a good job with a non-rehearsed smile. Merci! Thanks! Edit: kitchen seems to be a bit lost. Forget to send out dishes. The roast beef sandwich is very small for the price, and they pack an entire plate of fries to mask the small sandwich. Service a bit slow to order.

I know inflation hits everyone but $27 dollars for an overcooked rack of ribs and a baked potato is ridiculous. Server and floor manager attempted to help resolve the issue but unfortunately the quality of ribs is abysmal; lack any meat and are incredibly dry. The BR ribs from IGA come out more tender then at their restaurants. Service was excellent, atmosphere very pleasant and clean. They tried their best to help with the order and checked on our table regularly.

The Baton Rouge has been one of our restaurants of choice for more than 10 years for me and my partner, but it was my disappointment that during the wait for our meals, no bread to snack on or anything else with butter, no nothing in short, eat, pay for it and screw it. camp finished this human warmth for my wifes meal the sawinch on the rib raise ayoye a thick slice its all and for me a meal of paste plus scallops with lobster tail with shrimp and it was excellent in short for my sweet or it was average and or air conditioning was too cold in short for 2 people I find that at 100 dollars it was very expensive, thats it

Came here on Sunday lunch. I absolutely loved the drinks. Had an espresso martini and an aperol spritz. Food is where it lost one star. I had their famous ribs and for some reason, it doesnt taste as meaty as it once did. More bones than meat, and too sweet of a sauce. Fries were good, and coleslaw was good! However, I will go back! Great service on that Sunday lunch team. Great job guys!
It will always be one of my favorite restaurants, their food is delicious. In this case I gave them a low rating in service not because of the people who serve (they were beautifully friendly), what did seem ugly to me is that their plates arrived broken on the edges, the chairs already looked damaged in the seats, and Obviously that is part of the service of a restaurant. Something that needs to be improved and more so for the prices they have!

Really a little ick however the young girls who clean the tables dont wear stockings but then not at all what explains that. I noticed that she hardly receives any tips (ayayaye) yes yes yes yes??? That would still be a good reason why they dont have them; after all, nilon stockings are very expensive. In any case, on my part I leave something for these young girls they deserve it. We tasted the octopus starter; A little tough yes but so well prepared grilled served on a delicious sauce accompanied by cherry tomatoes we couldnt wish for better then my husband chose the ribeye steak spices and garlic medium rare very good choice with fries and seasonal vegetables very good presented and hum very good. My first choice was the cod, no luck there wasnt any left, my second favorite was the seafood linguini humm yum yum it was delicious. This is why I loved my meal at BOTON ROUGE. This restaurant is located on the 1st floor there are different levels inside the building honestly Im not sure if the place is suitable for childrens parties or adult parties why not? As for outdoor parking, no problem, its in the FAUBOURGS BOISBRIAND shopping center. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND ATTENTION ENJOY YOUR APPETITE AND GOOD EVENING SEE YOU SOON.
Awesome prime rib. Service is a bit slow, but the atmosphere made up for it
Over the past couple years the quality has really taken a turn for the worse and with smaller portions and about 40% less food theyve increased their prices by about 40$.. Chicken tenders were greasy with more batter than chicken, they used to be bigger and lightly coated without being saturated in oil with huge mound of fries to copensate for lack of chicken.. Poutine with beef was a small piece of bavette in strips on pile of fries with processed cheese instead of curd cheese.. Being in Quebec, poutine with beef at this price should at least have real grain cheese with no salty parmesan topping (makes no sense) drenched in sauce.. Lastly a glass of sangria or any mixed drinks at 15$ makes no sense.. Either go back to your original quality and portions with reasonable prices of you will loose more and more clientel as the weeks pass which will eventually make owning this franchise no longer worth it..

Good food but not a big choice of beers which is a bit unusual for a big restaurant. I ordered the pasta on the childrens menu for my 2 little ones and it was the smallest portion I have ever seen, so much so that I had to order another plate. which is a bit ridiculous, but generally good food and small portions

Some dishes (chicken mushrooms) are generous and others less (Mediterranean sea bass, raised sides...) especially for the price. Dishes are good, cocktails have too many ice cubes. Services also generally good. We had a good waitress but we would have liked to have had a water refill.
Very nice dining room. Impeccable service. The aperitifs are to be recommended. But the onion soup is way too salty and the chicken fillets tasted frozen. Its an OK meal in good company but its certainly not a feast. Valid value for money. Ultimately, its a kind of Old Duluth or Casa Grecque, a little more upscale aimed at a younger clientele.
I cant believe it. The plates are so small. Before two years ago we had a mountain of fries with ribs and creamy coleslaw. NOW NO COLE SALAD, NOT MANY FRIES, AND THE RIBS WERE SO SMALL THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS A CHILDRENS PORTION. AND THE PRICE INCREASED ARROWS.

We had a perfect evening. The food was delicious. Best spinach dip and crème brûlée... Succulent. We had exceptional service from our server Vincent. He took the time to answer our questions, he made sure that we didnt miss anything, our satisfaction and our glasses of water regularly filled. I liked seeing the spirit of support and teamwork. After many years, we returned to this restaurant. The last time, the experience was so unpleasant that we never wanted to come back, as the service had been EXTREMELY SLOW, and the food wasnt good. HOWEVER, a few weeks ago, due to my husbands insistence, we decided to give it another chance, and it was truly worth it. The waitstaff was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious, and it arrived super quickly. It was a pleasant surprise to see that not only was everything delicious, but also everything had improved. Without a doubt, I already want to go back. The drinks were very tasty as well.
