Negative: To begin with, you have to pay for the locker room even if you only go to dinner at 6 p.m. The food is ordinary if you expect authentic Portuguese. Portuguese Poutine was almost a soup, sweet sauce with not very tasty chicken. Disappointing Portuguese potatoes, the salad is actually kale with olive oil. The chicken is good, nothing more. Positive: the place is up to date and clean, good atmosphere for an evening with friends. The service was impeccable, thumbs up to our waitress Maude. Prices are appropriate, I recommend their chicken wings and side dish.

We went on January 14 for a group dinner of 30 people. Nothing negative to say, the food was excellent, the portions generous without being too exaggerated, everything is very tasty. The service excellent. The atmosphere is perfect, around 10 pm you can dance and its great fun. In the age group 25 to 65 years old. These perfect. I will definitely go back there.

Worst Experience! People with attitude!

Horrible service. The owner clearly doesn t care about his clients and is more focused on his money. Disappointed is not a word big enough to describe my experience.

Was there for a private event. I was delivered the wrong appetizer 3 times by 2 different servers. When I politely pointed out my appetizer was missing, I waited until the main course was served to receive it. The food in itself was decent at best. When we finally paid, not only did the server manually put the tip for us (something which did not happen with the tables around us) but also refused to change our bill when we only wanted to deduct a bottle of wine from the tip. Also a table around us received a plate with plastic inside.

Tonight was Ladies Night and it was superb. Beautiful atmosphere, a good meal and the service was superb.

Loud, kinda obnoxious, food is extremely bland, ceviche felt like a cold chowder soup, Caesar salad was overloaded with parm and soggy. Shrimp garlic pasta tasted bland. I wasnt expecting a whole lot but damn, felt like I was robbed ahah. Bonus point for the womens bathroom picture, cant picture my grandmother liking that as a sign.

I liked my starter soup and carpaccio very good But the beef tartares had no taste, really disappointed at $49. I would have liked to have had a minimum of flavor! There are 4 of us at our table who had the tartares and we are all unanimously really disappointed!!

Disappointed culinary experience. Lemon pasta with Argentinian shrimp....really lacked the essence of this recipe to which I asked for parmesan to give meaning to this dish. What I remember the most is that I wouldnt taste my girlfriends ceviche because the next day I felt indigestion. The whole taste was far from lemon and the ingredients of a ceviche. Not to mention a very slow service from the locker room. To the owner of the restaurant, make sure you provide impeccable service otherwise you will lose important customers.

Honestly for Valentines Day the atmosphere was beautiful, good service etc, but not much choice for meals because there was only one table dhôte, no individual meals or starters really to choose from . You had 2 choices of starters, etc.. For 2 people we paid $125 and on a limited budget we didnt tip much because we didnt really like the menu, we just ate 2 meals out of 4 (4 courses ). So we tipped $3, we dont work, we study and we wanted to go out with our lovers for once, and there the waitress Claudie comes with the bill and tells us that we didnt tip enough and that we should at least put 15%, she tells us that it costs her money to serve us. (While she only served us dessert..), I did not like this totally immoral and inappropriate behavior coming from this lady. Subsequently I had to pay him $10 more. Really feel a little embarrassed, we are students, not your employer, the intention of the tip was there, why come with the bill trying to make us feel guilty? Real shame on her. I would like to be contacted by an owner and/or manager of the place regarding a complaint about a bossboy (bouncer), who may be aggressive, non-empathetic, violent and disgruntled. This person should under no circumstances work with the public and may suggest psychological therapy.

Arrived no way to find any parking, very busy night. Even so, we reserved in advance. They need to think about their capacity of guest they can receive. The waitress tried to install me in the middle table of five strangers thinking i was part of their group even so my reservation was for two person. She then moves me to another awkward table within the same group. I then realise when i sit that this table was already assigned to 2 person. The cups were filled with water plus lipstick marks on them. I went back down the stairs to see the hostess she told be to find any table, even started showing me the plans of the table on paper instead of doing her job to find me a new table herself . I am very disappointed as it s not my first time going there and this time was the worst. I had to coat check and i didn t even end up staying because of all this nonesense. To say that I lost my money on the coat check and my time because i drove 30 minutes to get there. I really love that place the first time i went but this recent experience is making me reluctant to come back. Parking: Very bad , my date couldn t find any parking they over booked that night which is ridiculous because they have a big parking space.

Expensive and not tasty. To be able to enter the restaurant you must pay $6 for the mandatory cloakroom. We were a group and obliged to take the table dhôtes. I consumed 1 cup of red wine $19, ordinary ceasar salad and too much bacon really too dry and cooked, arancini...of which we looked for the rice just breading, beef tartare not very tasty. $110 for this meal for one person is really too expensive for the quality and taste that I would have expected to find. A friend had a pancetta pizza that she almost didnt eat because she didnt like it. Place for cruising, flirting, flashing, partying and not for having a good meal in a group meal.

We were a group and we only had access to the group menu. The menu is way overpriced for what is served. I was served a sardine starter which was full of bones with pizza as the main meal. The pizza consisted of a dough with a little pesto, almonds and 3 slices of mortadella (baloney) not cooked on the disappointment. For the sum of $50 with tax. Its very frustrating to pay so much for such a poorly prepared menu.

Super disappointed with the evening. We were a group of around 30 people. DJ canceled without warning, special ladies night was not offered because we were a group and we had not been warned... when the band finished, the music stopped for a very long time. The mood died down quickly. No one offered us desserts and/or coffee. When it was time to pay, the manager decided to turn off the lights in our section. We pay our bills in the dark with our cell lights. Very ordinary! We ended the evening on a very frustrating note!!

Too much noise, the music was loud. We were a large group for a friends party, and then after an hour of waiting for our order to be taken, another hour to receive the dishes which frankly was not extraordinary, my chicken thigh was so dry that it was difficult to know which part was meat and which part was bone. After 50 minutes to receive our plates, the party never received their dishes, even though they were ordered at the same time as the others. Around 10 p.m., the restaurant turned into a nightclub and we had to eat our dishes practically in the dark with music that was much too loud. The waiters were not there, in fact, dont try to find them during the service, they are not there. In short, overpriced menu, around $50 per person and frankly disappointing restaurant.

The day before I wanted to reserve a table they never wanted. When we arrived they wanted a table with a bench but they refused us saying it was in reserve??? They told me the music was from the 80s and 90s when it really wasnt that. Im really disappointed.

I came Friday May 12 at 10 p.m. to celebrate my friends birthday The DJ was only thinking about his own vibe, he was chilling with people in his space I asked to put a song on for my friend, he said yes, in the end he never put it on. His music was dated 2008 2009 I spoke to several people, they all said the same thing. Arrogant DJ!! Hes clearly not here for people but to have fun 3 times in the evening the music just stopped for 5 minutes and started again. After spending $200 on achool for my friends and I I just saw another review on a doorman I had the same problem and he still has it The doorman just took my full glass which cost me $15 and dumped it in the sink. Arrogant aggressive phew The service is very slow too!!! I clearly dont recommend this place and I wont be able to go back. Spent money and got it treated like this.

I cant believe how everyone dances with the drinks on the dance floor. The floor is always wet and dirty. People break glasses on purpose. Other thank that, the music is good . The place is always full.

We are forced to take the table dhôte even though we werent even aware of it. We end up having access to the normal menu. All the meals were too salty, overcooked (almost burned) or even not cooked (the fries). Salad too much sauce. The kitchen forgot a fries and wanted to charge the waiter, that makes no sense. The waiter was new and he was good as a waiter, unfortunately our experience was not fabulous due to the meals but in no way was it the waiters fault thanks to him for the pleasant service.

I went to celebrate a friends birthday and mine, we were a group of 12 people, when we arrived we had table dhôte menus which had not been mentioned when booking, we finally succeeded to have the menu that appeared on the site and the table dhôte for certain people who wanted it. All the dishes were very salty. Either the fried squid, the tartare croutons, the kale salad was vinegary...however the beef tartare was good despite the croutons which were salty and the salad did not come with it, I had to pay extra. We had a new server who mentioned that it was his second day alone. He was able to rise to the occasion and we had very good service with him. The atmosphere was good, the music was good despite the meals which did not at all live up to my expectations for the price I paid. I would never go back to this restaurant .

I do not recommend the Fogo in any way! To begin with, to enter the restaurant you have to pay a $10 cover, because it was a dance party. Ok he reimburses you, but you have to eat for more than $30. Then we were seated on the terrace (very beautiful though), and just to get water it took 30 minutes and I point out that there was no crowd. Then we order a pitcher, 20 minutes passed before we received it. When we receive the pitchers we immediately order the food, because we are sick of waiting... I ordered the beef tartare, and the service was quick on the food, however for $36, I expect have a good plate... No, the tartare is so tiny that I ask the waiter if its a joke or if they made a mistake between the starter and meal portion. He tells me that no, its normal and that in all restaurants the portions of tartare are small and expensive... (These are exactly his words). Finally, we ask for the bill... The waiter easily made us wait at least 15-20 minutes before bringing it to us and making us pay. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible for people with reduced mobility

1st course: Kale salad starter: meh 2nd course: small lobster burger: awful, dry and super hard bread 3rd course, main course: Portuguese chicken and Portuguese potatoes: dry meat, tasteless, potato ok however everything was cold. There were 8 of us and two of us received the main meal after the others had finished their plates. Our reservation was a table and then a booth. When we arrived at the time of the seat, nothing was available with a were sorry, we forgot you while being told that we had never reserved a seat until we showed them the reservation confirmation received by email. We were told the people who are there spend it a lot . The height of incomprehension because out of 8, just one of us had three bottles of Laurent Perrier champagne on their bill. Do the math. Staff really coaching me and insulting. The management is deficient, the employees on the floor are poorly coached, and the service is slow. It was better to go to the bar to get your drink than to wait for the service staff. The owner...disappeared when asked until he left without returning. For the late evening atmosphere, very good. It should be a club rather than a restaurant. I do not recommend and will not return.

Service absolutely a big 0, empty restaurant and no service, not able to come and refill the water or if we want extra wine, she didnt even bring my extra sauce $$$, too busy with the 3 guys at the bar . People came in and only 10 min. later she came to see them. I now understand why the restaurant is empty.

We were 78 people who were on vacation and we went there often but clearly our last time first of all during dinner cetais perfect but by 1:30 a.m. we were 15-20 people and we wanted to buy a bottle of champagne but the little barmaid with long hair doesnt tell us you can buy your bottle but you have 15 minutes to drink it as if we were going to pay $300 for 15 minutes its completely ridiculous plus we had spent at least $2-300 per person and we are told to leave WoW what a lovely welcome pu NEVER

We went 4 people for dinner. The service was very good, the food was a little expensive compared to what you can find elsewhere for the same quality. The atmosphere is different sitting inside which is more sober and the terrace which is noisier and more festive. All in all I enjoyed it.

Go there to celebrate but skip your turn for dinner there!! I ordered a salmon tartare and it was far from fresh and not edible. There were 2 of us returning our plates. The manager refused to reimburse the meal. We still received a cocktail in exchange for paying $51 per plate .. I had dinner on Saturday and I ve been sick ever since. Food poisoning. My friend vomited 30 minutes after the meal.

Since post-covid, they have opened up to strange people, they seem to be under the effects of substances and start fighting around past midnight. Their pizza was cold and not very tasty. The server was wrong several times without apology...and its not the first time but it seems to have minor servers...or very young ones. Its no longer the Fogo of the past...its often empty and always the same DJ.

Positives: The food was excellent , I had the best pizza of my life. What can I say about the piri piri chicken specialty with Portuguese potatoes, a real delight I also really enjoyed the experience of eating with my feet in the water . The terrace is really superb and the atmosphere too. Improved: I found the portions to be small. The speaker on the terrace was faulty and it was becoming unpleasant. It was lucky that they were able to stop the music at one point, because I couldnt take it anymore.

We went for my aunts 60 bday! We were 43 people! We had asked for the kids to be served first! After asking many times where the kids food was, it finally was served to them at 930 PM! There were only 4 kids! We kept getting different answers from the waiters! When asked if we could get a compensation they said they would talk to the manager and get back to us! No one ever did and we weren t compensated at all! Very disappointed in the service! Also my food was served barely warm! Don t think I would go back

$155 for 2 people with 1 bottle of wine... the salmon tartare was slimy and tasted nothing. The Portuguese chicken was tough... in short ok for the atmosphere but not for the food and even less for the drinks.

Superb atmosphere but lots of negative points already the beer. He didnt have half of the beers on offer, the meal was just okay and not worth the price. My experience is not on the Boisbriand branch rather on the branch in the Rosemère shopping center (probably the same owners), they hire new employees when they know that they will go bankrupt shortly even for what is employees already on the job for 1 year, no regard for them, work and not pay them for the last 3 weeks worked. These are young students who count on this salary, disappointed with the way they treat their employees. When a place is not honest with their young employees, are they honest with their customers....?

25 minutes to order a gin and tonic at the bar! the barmaids look away from the waiting customers. Secondly, to let customers eat at the bar during the busy period when the only place to order drinks is there! I have no desire to go back! Very disappointing service.

What a wonderful time at Fogo!

When we arrived, the parking lot and the entrance to the restaurant had no lighting. No non-alcoholic beer, or non-alcoholic Romeo gins, for people who dont drink them or designated drivers. We booked for the Christmas party a month before the event and the prices went up from $5 to $10 per night. plate the same evening ex: filet mignon $64 and $74, to make us say that it was the price of the holidays. 2 waitresses for a single bar and 300 people, so 20 minutes or more before having that consumption. So big disappointment for such a beautiful restaurant. So very disappointing. For an evening over $200, in the survey below none of the meals served are indicated. Parking: The parking lot near the restaurant has no lighting.

Avoid if you are looking for a restaurant. We had a reservation at 5:30pm but upon arrival we were asked for a mandatory cover charge of $7 for the couple. Unacceptable for a restaurant. Its new. We will never go back there.

I had a flank steak and it was by far the worst I have eaten. Its hard to cook reasonably with a piece that goes from 1/2 inch to 2 and a half inches...the meat was very nervous so I really didnt like it. Too bad because it s a very beautiful place full of life.

It wasnt my first time at fogo and I have always loved this place. On the other hand, the evening of December 16 was more than disappointing and shameful for my guests. Firstly, the people in the locker rooms lacked organization, enthusiasm and smiles. Secondly, we had an extremely expensive group menu imposed on us when there were only 9 of us. Third, the food was tasteless, without sauce, too salty. Fourth, we asked 3 times to do something with the air conditioning working, we froze during the entire meal period and some had to eat with their coats on. Fifth, the waitress offered a Caesar salad without even notifying that there was a $5 charge, which we saw on our bill. I will never refer this place again and I will not return there again.

I went there for a Christmas party. It depends on taste but we didnt like our meal for the price it cost. One person liked their filet mignon. I had the duck breast, too fatty and difficult to chew. It was my first time at this restaurant and I was a little disappointed. We went there for a party with a group of friends. The atmosphere is good, but the service is not efficient and there have been several oversights/errors. We should have left immediately for another restaurant but we didnt listen to each other. Impossible to communicate at the table throughout the meal, we had to shout to speak to each other and again! The worst choice of restaurant for a birthday dinner ever. At least 10 times we asked to turn the music down, but they turned it up even louder on purpose. In the middle of the meal, we left our table to eat on the terrace, hoping to find some respite for our ears. Its ok

We had booked for our wedding on July 30 and we were served very well, the staff were very courteous and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, it was a more than successful evening thanks to you. Thank you very much

A quiet romantic dinner on the terrace. It was perfect. We had the place to ourselves and the waitress was very nice! Impeccable service. The chefs inspiration (homemade shrimp tempura) was delicious; however the house green salad lacked vinaigrette, but was still fresh. The tuna tartare was outstanding! The little soy and shriracha sauce divinely enhanced the dish and the 4 croutons were superbly calculated with the portion of tartare. What can we say about the fries and their spicy seasoning which are worth the detour alone. The salmon tartare, too, was exquisite. Dessert: chocolate and mint pannacota topped with strawberry coulis. My childhood heart was in heaven with a dessert like this. Although I anticipated a too pronounced mint taste, I was extremely surprised by the subtle dosage of mint through the velvety chocolate. It was a delight! All this with a perfect temperature, sunshine and our feet in the water while we sipped our excellent cocktails We will definitely come back!

Foods good, vibe is cool

Hmmm you can check out the menu online. I ate like calamari starter and beef tartare dinner. Super good and the price $$$$. I really liked the great music atmosphere. I didnt like the time when singers came. Let me explain, DJ has speakers all around the restaurant. Unlike the singer, they dont. So all the sound comes from the same side. Parking: Theres plenty of room.

I would give 0 if I could worst service in history of restaurants 2 hours 2 drinks

Beautiful atmosphere and excellent musical choice. However, far too many dancers on the dance floor.

After 15 minutes of sitting, no one came to see us again to give us a menu. An employee came to serve us water which was very lukewarm without even saying hello and left without even telling us that someone was coming to see us soon

For the terrace atmosphere, its the most beautiful, there are tables where we can eat with our feet in the water. The food is good but nothing more. Its perfect for a 5 to 7 with friends, to have a drink and a few starters rather than to treat yourself to a nice dinner

Very good, very fresh. For those who complain about the service...well for us it was A1...impeccable service. And I have a solution if you dont understand that they may be short of staff...go eat fast food.. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful terrace. Everything was exquisite. We will come back

They did us dirty, We made a reservation at 9:30pm! Our assigned waiter just disappeared after serving our friends their drinks then we had to intercept another waitor to serve us ! He took our orders and everything and we waited more than 45 mins to nearly an hour, to not even receive our drinks nor an entree! The waitor kept ignoring us while passing by our table as much as we would call him! I got mad and finally walked up to him to confront him and find out whats going on! For them to tell us the kitchen is closed and we cannot eat! Mind u we was here since 9:30pm! And we waited til 11pm! And while we thought the food was getting prepared, the whole time we weren t even informed of anything waiting on the table for nothing! They didnt even had the decency to tell us earlier for us to go to another restaurant! And after 11pm everything was pretty closed! All this to find out that our main waitor was at the bar! We were hungry the whole time! Never again!

No idea about the food but going out on Friday and Saturday evening is very pleasant!

We went yesterday for my birthday a small group. I was very disappointed with the service. The waitress seemed tired of serving us. Our invoices had several errors and in the end she forced us to pay a bill with vodka shots that we NEVER ordered!!!! The meals did not arrive at the same time, some people at our table finished their plates and others had not received their plates yet. Really very disappointed with my first experience at fogo.

Birthday dinner, approximately 30 guests. Music way too loud, we had to scream to have a conversation. The waitress was very nice, but the service was miserably slow. Some people had finished eating and we were still waiting for our dishes, several errors in the orders, exorbitant prices for the quality and quantity of food. For us, never again, this restaurant is on our blacklist

We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and there were more servers than customers but it was difficult to get service. We had to ask for menus, utensils etc. No water refills at our table. Decent food but very small portions for the price. I wont go back there.

The food isnt great, but the atmosphere

We were a group of about 20 people, the waiter seemed very rushed and didnt even take the time to let us order drinks or specify sauces/sides. The courses arrived at different times and some had finished their dish before others had received it. As for the quality/price ratio, its almost insulting... $56 for a filet mignon burnt on the top and cold inside, full of nerves and difficult to cut with a knife, poorly seasoned, its is the worst I have ever eaten at this price! I gave this restaurant a second chance but it was definitely the last time I went there!

Je ne recommande pas. Nous avions pris un repas 3 services. Le pain était dur comme de la roche. Les salades manquaient de contenu. On a du demander plus de parmesan en voyant quil y en avait quasiment pas. Le repas principal était sec sans goût et beaucoup trop cher pour ce que cétait. Je ne suis pas difficile mais cétait exagéré. À un certain moment nous pensions que cétait une joke.

Abominable I broke a tooth with the bread it costs a fortune and its not edible $36 an assisted without meat, $34 dry chicken not enough sauce on the side coleslaw tastes nothing Im really not picky but st Hubert Piri piri its better cheaper go to belle pro also its better its good for a drink without more and the bloody is 19$ for a drink WOW

They are ripping off people Had bones and hair in the meal that made no culinary sense, was worst then something half the price. Out of red beer and are rude about it. My gf took a sangria with so much ice it tasted like water. Then they added someone else drink on my bill and when this horror finished, someone from our party call us to tell us that we didnt pay? They are scamming people, from the drink, the food and then these scams. Only purpose of the place is to take your money with 0 care or respect. Everything is minimaly made to look like you should spend a lot for nothing. The owner should either me ashamed or taken down by government because theyre probably ripping us off by not paying taxes too!

One word, expensive, but delicious!

The food is very ordinary for the price you pay but after 10 p.m. the atmosphere is perfect. I really dont recommend eating there.

I would rather give it 3.5/5 if it were possible. Good food for the most part. The velouté of the day offered during the service was not the one that was actually served. Very difficult at the bar to get a drink.

The music is super good, the alcohol service is slow but the employees are super nice.

We went to Fogo with a group of 23 people for our work Christmas party on Thursday December 15, 2022. We had a very nice evening! Songwriter, A1 service from our waitress Sabrina (honestly the best waitress Ive been lucky enough to have!!!) and DJ for the end of the evening! Everything was perfect :) The service was fast for the meals, everyone was served at the same time, I have nothing to complain about our experience at FOGO, other than thank you! I recommend to everyone!
