Sushi Kayakku in Boisbriand

Very good sushi! The owners are very nice and courteous our order had Makis, shrimp tempura and 2 egg rolls, all well presented. Unfortunately, my photo does not show the beautiful original presentation because we were too rushed for the tasting.

One of the best sushi on the north shore of Montreal. Excellent value for money.

I am never disappointed by this restaurant. The staff is reserved but friendly. The sushi is always fresh. The quality and workmanship is always there. This is our favorite sushi place.

The employees are very attentive, they are excellent at serving and even bring sauces that go especially well with each type of sushi and explain well. The chefs specialty sushi and signature menu are the BEST sushi. Despite their higher price they are REALLY worth it! I had difficulty finding a sushi restaurant as good as my usual one in Montreal and I can say without hesitation that they are better! Definitely excellent sushi. I recommend to everyone.

I got it wrong I think, not a good day for them... Completely bland sushi without character, tasteless fish, first time at this place, although the reviews were favorable... first time Ive been disappointed with an order sushi... so disappointed I had to write this review... Too much cucumber, mushy rice... good for the trash, I threw half away..olala..

Les meilleurs sushis que jai mangé au Québec. Les sushis de spécialités sont vraiment délicieux. Cest plus cher que beaucoup dautres endroits mais leurs sushis sont fait avec beaucoup moins de riz donc cest normal. Les ingrédients étaient tous dune fraîcheur irréprochable. Pour faire des sushis aussi parfait on voit quils sont plus passionné que la majorité des autres endroits.

For 4 years we have been buying a 50 piece tray almost every week, last week we noticed an increase of more than $20 for the same tray...$20!!! You have made Kayakku too expensive, sorry but we will have to take our weekly platter elsewhere, where the prices remain within the standard of similar quality. I understand that profitability is important, but there are limits to increasing and paying.

Delicious! We loved it, the sushi was very fresh and had different spin on traditional rolls... Wait staff very pleasant. The decor was also really cute-- great atmosphere.

Fresh, tasty, and byow. Lobster salad and won ton soup are incredible. I make the trek out to Boisbriand just for this salad and soup. Sushi is also delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend. (Dont expect much in terms of ambiance though, definitely a pick-up place).

I give 3.5 stars for the slightly cold atmosphere and too much lighting for the time (6:00 p.m.). The respectful service although at the end to pay I had the impression that she was afraid like during the covid. I ordered an 18 piece made on site and it was so delicious that I would have eaten 36 pieces because I love quality sushi. Do I recommend it YES Parking: Parking is for several stores.

Excellent quality sushi! However, long wait on Friday evening...order received 30 minutes after the scheduled time...for a total of 1h30 after calling to order. The fact that I give 4 stars despite this indicates how much the food is worth the detour.

The food is simply excellent! Meticulous presentation, fresh food, and the order is always correct... when we receive it! We had an order prepared via UBER EATS on December 31 with a discount offered by the latter. 15 minutes before the estimated delivery time, we received a notification via the UBER EATS application explaining that our order had been canceled. On February 14, same story, we benefited from a 30% discount via the application at the time the order was given (at 1:12 p.m.) and it was canceled once again by the merchant 30 min before the estimated delivery time (6 p.m.). This situation has happened twice and the most deplorable thing is the lack of understanding and cooperation from the merchant. We are told on the phone by a murdered Frenchman that UBER EATS orders are finished for the day. We find ourselves without dinner on these two busy dates, without reasonable notice. It is funny that our order was canceled twice when discounts offered by UBER EATS were applied to this particular location... This type of problem has never happened to us before, only with this merchant. We unfortunately have the impression of being scammed and of being the only victims in this story of discounts and agreement between the merchant and UBER EATS. NB: I would give 0 stars if I could; This lack of professionalism is, in my opinion, intolerable in a service provider.

We ordered sushi from this restaurant based on the reviews. What a disappointment!!! No pleasure in eating them. The Dragon eye has almost no salmon, a lot of cucumber strips in almost everything, bland taste... for the first time we threw away the leftover sushi!

I was pleasantly surprised with my order, which was the 18 pieces combo. Everything tasted fresh and each piece is generously filled and with just the right amount of rice. On top of it all, the food is beautifully arranged and the staff was welcoming. The prices are similar to Sushi Shop, but you get a much better bang for your buck!

Amazing Sushi! Super friendly staff! We have been trying a bunch of different sushi places since we moved to the north shore and every time we were left disappointed. We can now safely say that Sushi Kayakku will be our go to from this point on! They dont overdo it with the rice like almost all the other places do. We ordered the 72 sushi platter and we had a bunch of variety and none were veggie only. The fish tasted so fresh. Amazing quality place. I recommend it 100%.

I ordered a 36 piece platter and 4 of my rolls were basically filled with cucumbers, so regardless of what else those rolls were stuffed with more than half my platters texture & taste was cucumber. Super disappointing. Who even does that?
