Best Chinese food I ve had in years! We did a dinner for three and my husband said that was the fastest I ve cleaned my plate since he met me lol 10/10

They have specials ,but what they do is put rice under the meat to make it appear like a good portion. It is not,it is all rice. Not very good at all,bought food a few times and my family hated it.

This place is been going down hill big time Was good for the first year or so. Ordered a cantaness chow main was soaked in sauce, slimy noodles, the veggies were were over cooked slimy and old, the chicken, beef and shrimp were gross. I tried to eat just the topping but after a few, after about 10 min I got food poisoning and I m sitting on the toilet now with stomach cramps. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THAT DUMP

The food was absolutely disgusting.. bland the vegetables had no flavour and the chowmein was drenched in oyster sauce couldn t even eat it on top of it the man who answered was being very rude and raising his voice to me on the phone he was being very rude when I ordered .

Our last couple of orders of sesame chicken and General Tao were very dry and hard. When I placed my next order today I advised the manager and asked for the dishes to be more tender and juicy and explained my issues with previous orders. When we got home we ate right away and the first couple of pieces were very juicy but the rest l was very dry and hard to chew. I called the manger back about 1 hour after and he was very unpleasant. He said we waited to long to eat the dish as it needs to be eaten right away not 20-30 min after pick up. I told him we ate as soon I arrived at home and the dishes were again very hard and dry. I will not be ordering food from this business ever again!!!!

Not the chicken balls they used ro make. Im not even sure what these were. Veggie rice was just okay. Kinda soggy.

It was my family s first time trying this place, and I will never get from here again. Purchased lemon chicken and chicken fried rice and got very sick only an hour after. For the price of the food itself, the quality was not the best. Very dry, and didn t taste fresh.

Regular customer. They hire a bunch of kids to work up at the front but they never seem to know what s going on and always need to ask for help. This most recent time a young man gave me stank eyes after I explained that they took my order 50% wrong and wasn t going to accept the wrong order. Had to wait for it to be re prepped. My partner came in also and when she came back she told me there was a kid who was really rude to her wasn t really listening to her and needed her to repeat herself several times and also gave her really hostile eyes. I knew exactly who she meant. To the young man working customer service in wah wi who was so angry at us for not getting our order right we are so incredibly sorry to inconvenience you we hope you can move forward from this steepest of transgressions against you as you continue your journey in customer service.

Ordered for takeout the lunch special. Got General Tao chicken with rice. Lacks Asian spices. Sauce is just overpowering the meal. Well priced for the portion size however.

Always consistently good food

This place is strictly takeout, very fast prep time, food is always hot, fresh and extremely good. Ive never had a bad order from Wah WI. And the owner is super friendly and very efficient. Staff is organized and runs like clockwork.

Ordered 2 dinner combos and soup, Portion size is good, soup is a joke for the price you pay it s (small). Egg rolls are disgusting food was ok. Just over powered with red sweet sauce no Asian spices but still slightly better then Panda Express. we did buy 1 spring roll on the side that tasted good drop the pork egg rolls please. There is room for improvement definitely

Very good everything

Was around bolton to visit my brother when he told me about to this place. he said it was a hole in the wall and that their general tao was amazing. Decided to try it and yeah.. he was right. its bomb. i cant wait to visit him again and take a trip to this hidden gem. the portions were large. even for the 11.99 combo. i was genuinely satisfied and stuffed. the General tao + chicken balls and fried rice combo was delicious. it was super fresh and hot. fast to order (only took about less than 10 mins to make). highly recommended if youre craving chinese when around this part of the woods :). i certainly hope u had a branch by markham cuz man, id frequent it often lol. but only one location so i must make the trip to bolton just to taste these yummy delights.

Good service and selection

This is the only place we get Chinese food in Bolton. We have tired others and they failed. Their spring rolls are amazing, General Tao Chicken and chicken fried rice are all our go to. They food is always fresh? Hot and tastes amazing. Recently we tried the steamed pork dumplings which were also good.

The Crab meat cheese wontons are fantastic

Checked the store hours online and showed up at the store 5 hours before they closed on New Year s Eve to find they have been doing pre-orders and aren t taking orders at all. The girl at the counter say there s nothing that can do. It would haven be nice if they apologized for the inconvenience. Why is nothing mentioning preorders on the website? Now we are stuck with people coming over and no food. Thanks a lot Wah Wi.

As a Muslim family we find it very wrong that you put meat inside your spring rolls without letting people know. Spring rolls do not have meat. Not for practicing muslims.

I ordered from this place a hot and sour soup but honestly I don t even know what I got definitely wasn t hot and sour I called and I asked for another soup to be delivered they did not want to send another one but try to give me a credit what am I going to do with a credit when I m hungry. Best food in bolton

This evening we ordered a meal for 6 people. At the bottom of our mixed vegetables we found a STAPLE! What is worse then that is that when we called to inform management about this they went as far as suggesting that we put the staple in the food. We have ordered there many times and this was a horrible customer service experience.

I was at the same dinner as Gladys A. and Luigi Nalli, regarding the staple in a dish. There were several people at the dinner and we couldnt believe that we saw a staple in the dish. We understand that mistakes happen, but management did not apologize for this mishap- he went as far as saying, if we had to reimburse every person that puts a staple in their meal, suggesting that we put the staple in our food for the credit. Our whole disappointment with this establishment was how we were treated, it was not about the money that he was crediting. But since you mention it, you offered a $10 credit, then $30, and then 50%.... but by that point, it wasnt about the money; it was about how you spoke to us and how you suggested that we put the staple in our food on purpose. You wont have any more reviews from us, but you also wont be seeing us order from you again.

My favourite Chinese food place in Bolton. They almost never get the order wrong, its always super quick and tasty. Every Chinese place makes some of their dishes differently but everything Ive ever had has been delicious. Ive usually ordered the chow mien, shanghai noodles, general Tao, spring and egg rolls, etc. I think its all really good!

Weve been ordering from Wah Wi for several years, and have really enjoyed their food. In the past, an issue arose with our order, so the restaurant compensated us with a complimentary appetizer. We really appreciated that, and have continued to order from them over the past few years. Recently, however, our experience has changed. The restaurant has been short with us on the phone when we order, has hung up on us before weve had a chance to complete our order on the phone, and has recently run out of the items weve tried to order. In addition, weve asked for items that havent been included with our order when we received it. Weve been loyal to Wah Wi over the past few years, but will now start ordering from Panda Garden and Pho Captain as a result of these things. Its a big miss from a restaurant in a small town where there are other alternatives for Chinese food. Id suggest they listen to feedback and improve these things if they want to retain their customers.

Went for a take out for the 1st time after reading reviews. The place is not renovated as compared to the neighboring stores in that plaza. The order taker was not very friendly, however was truthful. I asked something and he didnt respond. I asked if he heard. He denied as he had ear phones . I repeated myself and could get his feedback for some dishes. Taste wise food is good. Quantity is also great. Plastic containers used are good to keep the food hot until we reached home. Food was prepared on the spot, of course from pre prepared one. Overall I liked the food. May visit again in future.

Best chinese food in bolton

Wah Wi, arguably the greatest Chinese food place in Ontario. Just last week I visited this establishment and everything exceeded expectations as usual! All items present in my $300 order as well as great service from the employees. Also, the food is always served fresh and on time, the consistent five star service from here is really unbelievable! Furthermore, the open kitchen allows you to see exactly how your food is being prepared which is a very important aspect considering it is the only Chinese place in Bolton that has this. Moreover all employees are very well trained and extremely respectful, all of them have extensive knowledge on the menu as well as how the food is prepared, especially the short boy who works at the front. All in all, this makes for a five star experience, from the fresh food, to the amazing employees, there is little to no room for improvement for this establishment! 10/10 would eat again

So disappointing from beginning to end. They made 2 mistakes in back to back orders and when we called to complain after the 2nd mistake the Owner/Manager Peter was rude and insulting. Food itself is mediocre, customer service has been the worst experience ever.

Wah Wi is the best Chinese food restaurant in Bolton. The food is fresh and the portions are very generous. Ive been ordering from Wah Wi for several years now. Ive had a couple of small issues which were immediately addressed to my satisfaction by Peter the Manager. Peter went above and beyond my expectations both times I had an issue to ensure I was happy. Great food and great customer service!

Ill keep this simple. Weve tried to eat from this place many times over the years, and every time, they disappoint more and more. The food they sell is sub-par, greasy, and off-tasting to say the least. On our last and final delivery order, it took over an hour and a half. We had to call and go to the restaurant to see what was taking so long, when we got there they sent out the driver to our place and we had to go back home again. When we arrived he gave us an incredible amount of attitude (I believe he was actually the manager or something there), and wasnt one bit courteous. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There are 1 or 2 other pretty good Chinese places in the area, Wah Wi, is most certainly not one of them.

Placed a $200+ order a few days in advance, but when we got there to pick it up, they hadnt started cooking it yet. Cycled through several rounds of customers ordering and getting their food before us, before we go our order a half hour later. The food was pretty standard Canadianized Chinese food, flavor wasnt too spectacular, but the vegetables were fresh. I wouldnt recommend the fried squid or beef curry, but the chow mein is solid. Thank goodness for those little hot sauce packets!

I understand the need to support local businesses so that we all have selections when looking to eat out. Im bias because Im a foodie. I know for example what Chilli Chicken from a Hakka Restaurant should look/taste/smell like vs.when you have Chilli Chicken at Wah Wi, they are trying to incorporate every Chinese style in a menu. If you want better quality, try Noble Wok on 27/king in Nobleton, a little further, longer wait but worth the extra inconvenience IMHO, not saying its a 5 start either, just saying head to head, my money goes to Noble Wok, except TUE when both are closed. For those who disagree, no problem, your money, your taste buds, none of my business! :)
