Lovely tea shop .

The food is amazing, the server was so nice. The waffle was not too sweet or too unsweetened. They also gave us free hot chocolate and water in a champagne bottle. I would come back again once a while. Just a little too pricy.

I order from here quite often when I get a waffle craving, but this week me and my wife rode up on our bikes and the gentleman at the counter was so kind and did an awesome job. Reason I am putting this review is because my experience was pathetic at this cafe, there was a person at the counter who was making funny remarks while I was reading as I wanted to have alone time, he thought I can t hear but I was able to hear every little thing he was talking about me to his co-workers, ice cream was good though. My visit to Caramel Cafe left much to be desired. I opted for their chocolate overdose waffle, excited for the promised chocolate pearls and whipped cream. However, upon receiving my order, I was disappointed to find these toppings missing. Even more frustrating was being charged extra for caramel. When I reached out to inquire, I was informed that they were out of ingredients and their whipped cream machine was broken. It would have been appreciated if they had informed me beforehand so I could have made a different choice. The lack of communication and the additional charge for a substitute topping were major letdowns. Overall, my experience was marked by poor service and a disregard for customer satisfaction. I would caution others against visiting this cafe until they address these issues.

Me and my boyfriend came here for a date night, hoping to get some dessert together. Upon entry, nobody came to seat us, after waiting a few minutes we decided to seat ourselves. After a few minutes at the table, we approached a server ourselves to ask for water and to order. The server came to our table and was very short with us, we order a slice of cake, a sundae, and two coffees. The waiter told us it would be about 15 minutes. Over the next 30-40 minutes, other customers came in after us, were seated, orders taken, and food served. Nobody came to our table, our food and drinks were never delivered. I tried making eye contact with the server to wave them over many times but they would never come. Eventually we got up and left. So upset from this experience. I did not feel welcomed and would not return to this Caramel Cafe or any others after this experience. Did not expect such blatant disrespect in Bolton.

Walking in, we found our own seat without any greeting. After a 10-minute wait, I took the initiative to ask for our order to be taken. We were told our single slice of cake and sundae would only take 15 minutes, yet after a 35-minute wait, we left in frustration without any staff member acknowledging that we left or apologizing for the delay-the store wasn t even busy! Interestingly, two other couples who arrived after us received their desserts way right away. I m not sure if this is because my partner and I are gay and they were discriminating against us, or if this establishment is just brutally disorganized. I expected more from a place with hundreds of good reviews; makes me question their validity after this experience. I d get way better service and hospitality at McDonald s.

Overall 1 star due to poor service. I came here with my girlfriend to study and try their desserts. When we got there it wasn t busy, and we noticed they have the larger tables reserved for larger parties. We had to choose one of their smaller tables. We ordered a hot chocolate, a green tea and a slice of their Caramel Pecan cheesecake which was good. My frustration comes after we had finished our drinks and cake. I paid my tab at the register and asked the staff to clear the table as I wanted to study, they said yes then I waited 20 minutes and nobody came. Again, it wasn t busy at the time so it is quite confusing. The funniest part is as soon as I leave they had the table cleared. Won t be back.

I had some business in Bolton and wanted to grab a coffee for my drive back. Saw this little spot in the corner of the plaza and loved the atmosphere inside and went in to check out their menu. The owner really brings a cozy vibe to the place and talking with him made me feel like I was talking to family. I ordered a large mocha and it tasted amazing, they used real chocolate and a thick almost fudge syrup instead of cocoa powder most places opt for and it made the difference. After tasting my coffee, I had to try their dessert, so I grabbed their most popular item (Nutella waffle with fruit and ice cream) and it was delicious, crispy fresh waffle with fresh tasty fruit and a hearty dollop of ice cream. Highly recommend, will come again.

**Food Review: Nutella and Fruits Crepe** I recently tried the Nutella and fruits crepe and while the flavors were decent, there were some significant issues that need addressing. Firstly, hygiene concerns were alarming. The food preparer, instead of using new gloves, opted to reuse them after washing the gloves..... WHAT THE F, which is a major health hazard. Whats worse, they handled their phone and business cards before touching the waffle, crepe, and fruits, risking cross-contamination. This negligence is unacceptable and poses a serious risk to customers health. Additionally, the portion size was disappointing considering the price charged. Customers expect value for their money, and unfortunately, this offering fell short in that regard. Moreover, the quality of the ice cream was subpar. It lacked freshness, and there was nothing Belgian about it as advertised. This discrepancy between expectation and reality was disappointing. Overall, while the Nutella and fruits crepe had potential, the lack of attention to hygiene, small portion sizes, and low-quality ice cream detracted from the overall experience. Improvement in these areas is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. WILL NOT RETURN.

The owner is very kind and makes the experience an amazing one overall. I accidentally ordered from the downtown location, thinking it was the Bolton location, but he was very compassionate and offered to fulfill my order although I had already paid the other store. I felt bad and wanted to call the other store to reimburse him, but he insisted that it was okay. The waffle itself was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend Caramel Bolton.

This was my first time in Bolton and my friend wanted to go to Caramel Cafe based on the good reviews! We had the nachos and the apple crumble crepe and everything was so good!! It wasn t super busy on a Thursday night and we got to enjoy the warm weather on their patio.

Really nice little cafe. We tried a few drinks and snacks. The nachos were really tasty, and all the drinks we tried were also very good. The service was excellent, Rakesh went above and beyond with his service. They were out of mangoes but rakesh went out to find some, that was excellent service in my opinion.

We came in from Montréal for a wedding and happened to stop here when craving something sweet. We absolutely loved the food (we had a combo of crepes, the chocolate overdose waffle, Turkish coffee and afagato and it was all super good). But the best part was definitely the service. Thank you so much to the staff for giving us the extra Nutella and extra whipped cream. You definitely made the experience even better just by being so nice! Photo is of the chocolate overdose waffle with some extra vanilla ice cream on the side. (I recommend ordering it with vanilla instead of chocolate ice cream depending on your preference.)

The deserts here live up to the photos! Got a Dulce & Banana and the waffle came out hot and soft on the inside, but crispy on the outside. Banana was perfectly ripe as well. Coffee was also great.

A gf and I were looking for a place to have coffee after work. I goggled and this place popped up. The menu looked amazing and said lets try it out, plus its close to home. The ambiance, food and service is amazing!! Such a hidden gem and we would highly recommend!!

Very friendly service and generous portions. The Turkish coffee comes in elegant dishes. The room is quiet, bright and welcoming and shortened our wait for the RV at the CruiseCanada rental company next door.

Delicious desserts and shakes

Chocolate Shake was good. However the veggie crepe we ordered was totally different from the one in the menu. In the menu, it said green onion, oregano, shredded cheese, black olives and tomato. But we got red and yellow pepper along with mushrooms and tomatoes ( there were no green onions, no olives instead mushrooms and pepper which I don t like at all) Indeed the guy tried to make it as good as possible and he said he would ask his boss to change the menu where it said green onions and olives. Honestly I would recommend for drinks but would still doubt about the food menu. He even gave 20% discount when i told him about it which was just 3 dollars off the total food we ordered. there are certain people who have different allergies to food if you don t ask and add them according to your choice which is not mentioned in the menu. On the other hand, good ambience and good drinks.

Went with my family on a weeknight. Only one other family in the restaurant. Only one server was on duty. She was courteous and helpful, and brought our food, although be it after a relatively long wait time. Ambiance is decent, not as posh as some of the other desert places. Dodd quality and presentation was simple and not fancy as the competitors. If you don t like to pay for frills, this is good place to visit.

A wonderful cafe with pleasant decoration, sofa seating and delicious sweets ! I ordered the Sundae which had vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with brownies, bananas, strawberries and whip cream :) My only suggestion is to layer the toppings, as I just ate all of them at the top and only had ice cream at the bottom hehe. I also ordered the mango lassi which was quite light in flavour and thickness. My friends ordered a waffle and crepe respectively and absolutely demolished their plates ! The staff there was also quite attentive and friendly. Overall a very nice place for desserts.

Saw this place on friend s Snapchat (go ahead, laugh) searched it up and was impressed by what I saw. An hour later I went and was not disappointed! Very cute space, bright, vibes are there, music was at appropriate volume. The gentleman was very nice, recommended the nachos and oh man! The presentation was great (look at that Turkish Coffee alone) I almost took the set with me, waffles were great, fresh ingredients. You can tell it was made with effort and the passion. Reasonable prices too. Would 100% go again! *** UPDATE *** The man took us back after few months (his Queen - me - was having a rough day) and they did not disappoint again! Made me a custom-ish waffle, loved it. They have no business being this good, but I m not going to stop them. Will continue to go back!

Pretty cool café, had a mango white choc ice cream crepe and a turkish coffee. The portion was large and delish.. the coffee not so much and a bit grainy at the end. I was able to share the crepe with the wife so that was nice. The menu had tons of other things to try and I definitely would go another timee!

Highly recommend. The staff is super friendly and kind. They went out of their way to ensure we were happy with our food and stayed after hours till we finished our meal. 10/10, the waffles were fresh and tasty

Nice little spot run by super sweet people. We tried the Ferrero Rocher crepe with bananas and it was scrumptious , we were so quick to eat ans forgot to take the photo, reasonable price and generous portion. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Ordered a caramel cheesecake slice. The caramel was extremely runny, mediocre taste and the portion size of the cake slice was tiny compared to the $9 something I paid. Not worth the money. And only had 3 types of variety to choose from with no display to pick from. Just had to choose from a verbal menu.

It was loud but overall good desert spot in Bolton.

Great Place for coffee and a dessert. Food quality and quantity is good. Price is little high but worth paying that amount for the quality of food you get. Service was little slow because the place was super busy and there was only one worker. Mr. Rakesh (employee) was very polite and professional.
