My husband and I have been going to the Wishbone for about 25 years. Tonight I had the chicken soulvaki for the first time. Wow!!! We love this place. Lovely owners and staff. Very homey.

The food is not only amazing but also super affordable.

One of the best spots Ive been to for a while and not overpriced. Truly quality and quantity, which doesnt exist these days.

BEST GREEK CHICKEN SOUVALKI DINNER!!!! The food was incredible! This restaurant offers fresh, home-cooked meals with great service. Its family-run and has a lovely atmosphere. The Greek Chicken souvlaki was amazing! My kids wouldnt stop raving about it!! I will definitely be returning. 10/10.

If you are looking for an old style Greek diner than this is the place. Its like stepping back into the seventies decor-wise and price wise, all the food is super cheap but really really good.

Kid-friendliness: Patience was incredible for the amount of people we were and there was no rushing us through. Very kind staff throughout Wheelchair accessibility: Do have wheelchair Altho could maybe use a few more.

Went for my birthday dinner for the first time in a long time, and it was great. I had the Steak and Shrimp, and it was delicious. My Steak was cooked like I asked for, and had 3 nice coconut shrimp on top. The prices were very fair.

We have been coming here for a few years now. Always get the ribs and they are always great. Staff are friendly and they dont rush you. There is plenty of parking and the location is easy to get to.

Food is always great and very reasonably priced. Whether I dine in with my family or get take out we are always satisfied. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Best of all its right down the street from us.

Was here for a family event. Its a calm atmosphere, owners where kind and the food was great. Classic home fries, good quality meat and great seafood options. Not a bad place to try out.

Good old fashion family restaurant. Quick service. Great hospitality. Food was OK. A little pricey for quality. Had Liver and onions,bacon was dried out hard as if made the day before. Would liked the liver more tender not dry. Good gravy. Veggies were frozen green beans carot you buy at grocery store. Prefered fresh. Baked potatoes was great. We Loved the fresh bun and butter. Hubby had ribs they were good. A little too sweet on the glaze. Did not like peas carrots. Should have asked what veggie came with the meals. Paid at the bar. Noticed moldy damp stench seemed to come from kitchen behind the bar. Like all restaurants the owners need to pay focus on cleanliness and sanitation. Don,t get why these places do not focus on using proper sanitary cleaning products in their kitchens bathrooms ..Its a food and safety issue. Its a reflection on how they care for their customers food preparation.

My wifes childhood restaurant. Our family had a get together in Bolton Ontario that wouldnt be complete without a dinner at the Wishbone. The owners daughter now runs the restaurant and she still remembered her. Great time and wonderful atmosphere. The food was perfect.

Always a great place to eat! Excellent, personal service, casual with amazing comfort food. The fish and chips (its halibut done to perfection) a personal favorite! The hot chicken sandwich, chicken and ribs, souvlaki...etc...I have too many favorites to mention. A must try if you havent already;)

Always great and the price is right

I made reservations as we were bringing a service dog with us. Owners, management and staff were amazing and did everything they could to make our visit a very positive experience.

The staff were all genuinely friendly, engaging and eager to ensure we had a pleasant dinner experience. Food was well prepared and served quickly. Prices were a pleasant surprise, not expensive or over-priced. We had such an enjoyable experience the first evening we were there we went back the next evening.

Good home cooking. Classics such as fish and chips and souvlaki dinners, but also liver and onions and open face chicken sandwich. Prices are still decent considering inflation. Dinner will run you 15 to 20 dollars inclusive of tax n tip.

AWESOME FOOD, its really close to us so we usually order delivery and its always ready within 15-20 mins. Hot, exactly what we ordered and friendly service whenever we pick up. Lots of parking and great location - 5/7 mins outside of bolton, en route to Palgrave!

Food was good, had ribs and liver. Service was not good and the reason why it has been 11 years since my last visit. Waitress took our order and then we never saw her again, finally asked another person for our bill. Very disappointing as based on the food I would consider returning

Decore has not been updated I would assume since the place opened. The food is very basic typical North American bland. There were a lot of pre-made items brought out to the table in plastic take away containers. The place was packed somehow, I would assume because its the only restaurant in the area. Service was not horrible but not good either, I had finished my drink before my friend got theirs. Everyone was extremely friendly and that was really the only saving grace.

Great service at time a little slow but the waiters and waitresses were so kind and understanding, food took a little while to get to us but once it did it was great, prices werent too bad ethier . All around a great family restaurant.

I really wanted to love this place but I didnt. The waitresses were very friendly but the food itself just wasnt great. It wasnt terrible but it was very generic. Many of the items are straight out of the freezer and the coconut cream pie had a gelatinous texture to it which wasnt good. The ribs were just ok...

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Unfortunately for a Steakhouse the steak was overcooked dry served frozen shrimp. Not recommended if your craving a steak dinner.

A very cozy place. Travelled all the way from Toronto and it didnt disappoint. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Definitely will visit once again.

We had passed this restaurant many times on our way home and finally stopped in to try it out. Although the decor is a little outdated (my husband loved it), the whole restaurant feels very nostalgic and quaint. We were greeted by a very friendly server who always had a smile on her face (unfortunately I cant remember her name). It was very busy, but she was waiting all the tables in the entire restaurant and never looked worn out. The food was comforting. It is not fine dining, but it tasted great and had great portion sizes. Tip: get the cherry pie! Such a buttery crust and the filling taste amazing! We have actually been trying to find a good cherry pie, and this was it! Will definitely be going back.

Greeted and received very warmly by staff. The service was exceptional. The quality of the food was very good homestyle cooking. Pricing was on point very reasonable for a family or group. Lots of parking with wheelchair parking. Restaurant is licensed. Sundays after four prime rib dinner is amazing! Definitely our new go-to place.

The service was outstanding! So fast and the waitress was lovely. The meat was under seasoned (burger and steak) but cooked beautifully. Its too bad, a little salt and pepper go a long way. The ribs, nothing to write home about. The coconut cream pie and rice pudding.... WOW!!!! best Ive ever had. We will be back.

I was lost and my GPS and cell phone had died. The waitresses were super friendly and allowed me to plug my phone in near the coat racks while I ate dinner. The service was great and the food and prices were fantastic.

The rainbow trout would cost $30 downtown and not be as good as theirs. The Wishbone is special, everyone seems to care about the customers and the food is amazing. No wonder it s busy, highly recommended!

Prices are fare. Portions are good. The quality of food is awesome. Most restaurants dont include vegetables for a kids meal and they do! The also offer healthier options for kids, instead of your usual pizza, chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. Very friendly staff

I have visited wishbone twice and can say both times have been a great experience. The food is fresh and tasted great. The restaurant is clean and looks well kept. The decor is dated but does not reflect on the quality of the food. The staff were friendly and cared about their customers. I Will definitely be returning.
