They should change their hours online. I got turned away at the door an hour before their closed time, because the kitchen was already closed. Maybe don t advertise you re open that late??

The food is absolutely disgusting. I was expecting this to be comparable to a Marcellos or Nove experience and it s more like The Olive Garden. The entire place needs a makeover with its 90 s decor. For 2 people, with 1 glass of wine and shared app and 2 mains costs us over $240! Insane. Never ever again. Pretty sure we ordered the calamari, caprese salad, a steak that was $80 spices with Montreal steak spice and a penne a la vodka. Im 150% on this experience and the location.

We have been going here for years but I rated 4 stars because it s difficult to get in here! A lot of locals book their private functions and Bolton doesn t have a lot of Fine Dining options. Recently we went on a Saturday Night and we had top tier drinks and wine .. great .. we had an amazing Octopus appetizer .. Rabbit Special which was very good .. nice ambience and wonderful personal attention .

I have been going here with my wife for over 14 years. The food , service , atmosphere , is always above and beyond. The owner Dino is one of a kind. He will go out of his way to make sure ur comfortable, and the menu is explained to u of it s ur first time. It s a hidden gem in Bolton and everyone should experience casamici. Thank u Dino and staff for always with a warm welcoming myself and my family every time. God bless

What an awesome restaurant and so glad we found it through a recommendation. The food was delicious, the service was perfect and we loved the romantic atmosphere and decor. Nothing good here. Dino (owner) was very rude to us and our guests in a party of 10, he should stay in the office and not micro-manage the front of the house. We felt insulted by his many negative comments. Also, he would not add mushrooms to the Penne saying it was too confusing for his kitchen to add or substitute menu items. The food was mediocre. I will not come here again or recommend this place to anyone.

Was here for a recent function & Dino the OWNER was actually incredibly rude and might I say very arrogant. The food was good not super great there are better, however the other staff were great but the owner was just completely unprofessional. I will not be going back there or recommending this trattoria. First indoor restaurant experience since pandemic. We couldn t have picked a better place. We were greeted with smiles and felt completely welcome. The service was top notch. The food was amazing - from the appetizer, to the main, to the dessert and coffee. I highly recommend Casamici for its food, service and the ambiance. Who knew Bolton had this hidden gem?? Really awesome! All the dishes are prepaired carefully, that results in a sensation of to be in Italy! The bread served as starter is very good, the salad as well ans the pasta are 10/10.

Was here for a party, and was told that they dont have High Chairs. 15 Minutes later another family comes in and were given a high chair right away. So I asked why I was not given one to which the response was we are not supposed to use them but i will get you one now. So this was a set menu and wine was included party. I asked for a beer and was told its not included. Thats fine I will pay for a beer no big deal right?? Well apparently because its not included I cant purchase my own beer. I said dont you have a cash bar. The answer was yes. So cant i just go to the bar and buy a beer. The answer was no. Does this guy even realize that he probably lost a couple hundred dollars on this party as other people wanted to buy beer as well?? But hey no big deal. Thee food was good and filling.

9 of us went there for my mother s birthday. We had three young kids and a very old grandma. Overall the service could not have been better. We all had a combination of pasta, steak and seafood. All turned out perfect and all the dishes that I tried were better than I expected. My entire family had extremely positive reviews of their dishes. Steak was better than many high end steakhouses and the pasta and sauces Definitely tasted fresh never frozen. Even my 90+ year old grandma (who has a knack for complaining about every restaurant we have ever been in) said the food was excellent. I can t wait to dive into the leftover pasta in my fridge. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to my mothers neighbour from palgrave who recommended this place.

The atmosphere inside is wonderful. The front of house and wait staff made my time a great one. And the food was wonderful, lots of attention to detail in all the dishes we ordered. This is my new go to place.

Lovely atmosphere and absolutely the best gnocchi Ive ever had. Obviously hand made they just melt in the mouth. My friend needed a vegetarian option and they adapted the pasta special which she loved and was really tasty.

good for a business lunch

Food and service are excellent. Its more expensive then other restaurants but well worth it. You definately need to plan ahead and make reservations for dinner here. At lunch time Ive been able to walk in and get a table.

Very disappointing. We had polenta as an appetizer, penne alla vodka, and veal bolognese. Cant complain about the app and the pasta but the service was horrible and when the veal arrived looking and tasting like it was fried in old burnt oil, then left out to sit in it for days we were told that they had a rush and that sometimes things get burnt. Not the service we were looking for.

We went to Casa Amici for a family gathering and the antipasto was alright. Then we had some kind of burnt meat that caused myself and my family members to have food poisoning. Terrible experience!!! Save your money and the terrible experience that we went through. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. In fact the food inspectors should do an overview of the handling of the food at this restaurant!!!

Our team have Christmas dinner here every year, we enjoy those delicious food and good service very much.

Private event, good food and good fun

A review is not only on food and service, but it is also on how you feel and the vibes you get when you walk into an establishment. Lets start with the food. My friend and I both had the caprese salad which was pretty good, and the oil had the flavour of fresh basil. I had the gnocchi which was melt in your mouth delicious. Highly recommend. My friend had the veal, and said it did not live up to expectations. I mentioned the vibe because although the food was good, the service consistent , we did not have a welcoming feeling and our waiter was neither friendly or engaging but dry and the atmosphere was cold. I have no doubt they do good business, but that was my first and last visit. If youre going to take my money at least make me feel welcomed. I will take my business elsewhere. As I said, this was my experience and recommend you go and try for yourselves. Would love to hear others feedback.

Never disappointed with this place. If you wish to change a dish slightly, no problem, they are happy to substitute/add/subtract. Wont find better Italian restaurant than Casamici.

Set menu for dinner. Pizza and bruschetta appetizer was excellent. Calamari was some of the best Ive had. Pasta was excellent - you could tell it came right off the stove. The steak on the other hand was disappointing. I asked for rare and I couldnt even call it medium - it was way overcooked. It wasnt even just mine others were overcooked as well. Unfortunate considering how good the rest of the meal was. Service was excellent. Unobtrusive yet wine and water glasses were refilled almost like magic.

Excellent food - apps, mains and desserts. Favs are calamari and polenta. And lemon meringue pie. Welcoming atmosphere. Cant say enough great things about service. Great for intimate dining or larger parties.

I tried to book an event at this restaurant and the owner by the name of Dino was incredibly rude. When I went to speak with him in regards to picking the menu, we were told to be there for 4pm and arrived at 4:03pm, and he told my father and I to get out of his restaurant. This man was nothing but rude and ignorant. I can not believe that he runs a business and serves customers. He needs to learn proper people skills. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is mostly a store selling Italian foods but has a counter where you can buy lunch. We had the sausage on a bun and the veal on a bun. Both were edible but we both said, We will not eat here again. There are so many places serving really good Italian lunches that edible really cannot compete with them. The operators seem to be Italian so they should taste the stuff the lunch counter sells and ask themselves, Would I serve this to my friends?

Casamici is a great place to enjoy sumptuous food, fantastic wine and a warm ambiance. Service is outstanding and Dino and Massimo are passionate hands-on owners who work their magic every night. Simple rustic food like pasta al forno is made to perfection. Even the kids love the fritto misto which is a must-have! All in all, this place is simply fantastic!
