Blue Smoke BBQ. Smokehouse Saloon in Bolton

My friend and I ordered a 1 oz drink and the waiter messed up the order and gave us a double shot. When taking our order, she asked if we wanted 1 oz or 2, we VERY CLEARLY said 1. We have never been here before, we don t know if the sizes of the drink glasses are different between 1 oz and 2 oz shots. So, we obviously didn t know this until the drinks were done! This is an extremely irresponsible mistake that she made. I know my limits when I drink I was not expecting to have 2 shots tonight. Thank god I live near by. This could have ended worse. I m just surprised she has her smart serve. When our bills came, they did not honour their mistake, and made us pay for the 2 oz. drinks. This is unacceptable. I will never be coming back and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Celebrated my 35th birthday here, and it was an amazing experience! From the warm and welcoming owner to the attentive staff, the service was absolutely top-notch. The food was phenomenal. BE AWARE!!!!!! We were there this past Saturday to see Rude E Bones. Great Band. But what we didnt like is when we saw the owner yelling, swearing and grabbed the woman by her arms as she just walked in. He made a complete scene infront of everyone. NO MAN SHOULD EVER PUT HIS HANDS ON A WOMAN. We will never return to Blue Smoke. The owner obviously needs argue management. We hope the lady sees this review and we hope that she is OK. BANDS should be very aware of playing in a place that treats their customers like this.

We were 7 people for a business lunch that was so fun as we shared the platters. Quality of food, presentation were exceptional. Wait staff was so nice and owner was present and appreciated our enthusiasm! Definately going back for more!!!

Mixed review. We booked a table a month prior but upon arrival found our table stuck in the corner with all seats facing a window. No change permitted based on larger parties coming in. Server was excellent and warned us of the large groups coming so we could put our order in before the rush, however we were finished before they arrived. The beef brisket was excellent, but the ribs were cold. Some work needs to be done to upgrade the quality of side dishes. Baked beans resembled refried beans and rice bland. Atmosphere was excellent as the they have line dancing every 2-weeks and lots of participants.

Went to restaurant on a Tuesday 630 pm dinner. 5-6 tables were in use. I was there as part of a family of 4. Dinner consisted of Ribeye steak dinner, grill chicken on house salad, plain burger with Mac n cheese, and Poutine with pulled pork. Our order was taken and we had to wait approximately 45 min for our meals to arrive even though it was not busy. I ordered my steak med-rare and it came charred on outside. The steak was cooked well on outside and was medium + in the center. I brought it to servers attention who in turn had manager attend. I was then told by her that that s what medium-rare looks like at BS. Our server was great and apologized whole heartedly. She advised that she would try and get meal taken care of. It wasn t. Manager didn t not even apologize. We ended up getting half off (the steak only) which is at least something. The burger was dry and over cooked. The burger bun was black on the inside. Needless to say my daughter thought it was unappetizing. The salad and chicken was good but portion size was small. The Poutine was a hit! Fresh cut fries were excellent. All in all we would not return or recommend it to others. For the menu prices we expected better quality of food.

A true smokehouse with exceptional meat cooked to perfection. We were here for an event so we got to try multiple dishes. They didnt miss on a single cut, and do not sleep on the mac n cheese, it was to die for. Service was superb, Salvina made the experience! Blue smoke made bbq feel like fine dining.

I heard great things about this place but was terribly disappointed. Ribs were very salty ,cold over cooked ,dry and so were the fries etc portions were very small and overpriced drinks were great but everytime we ordered another round came in different glasses Line dancing was a big plus was fun. I think it can be a great place if menu is shrunk down too much to choose from and why pizza in a country restaurant?

From start to finish every detail was thoughtfully managed making the night truly memorable. The service was amazing, the staff went above & beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of and the food was fantastic. Every dish was a hit, bursting with flavour. We loved the vibe and food and all the staff were helpful and kind. It was a fun surprise to learn they do line dancing every Friday night and live band on Saturdays. I went for the food and ended up staying for the dancing!!! It was an unexpected and awesome night! Way to busy and crazy expensive / of its a country bar in the city

Service was probably the best we ever had, even though it was jammed. Lorenzo was our server and he was great but I think all the servers were attentive. Food was great as well. Highly recommend!!

We were there to see a friend in a band. It was crowded, as expected. Overall we had a great evening. the food was okay however very disappointed with the portions of the platters. There were 4 in our group and we ordered the platter that served 3 - 5 people. We got one chicken leg, 3 ribs, 4 slices of roast and some watered down pulled pork, with 3 sides, and that cost $115. The wings and fries were much better.

This restaurant has no concept of the dining experience. How can you play music so horribly loud that you cannot even talk to the person next to you or even the servers???? Will never ever go back. There are other restaurants in Orangeville, Caledon and even Tottenham that have great food, great service and ambience. This used to be a great place. A birthday celebration was completely ruined after A 2 hour wait for mains that never came. Stay away!!!!!

Blue smoke is a very well put together and gently managed smoke house with a country atmosphere like no other. Their Friday night line dancing is great for anyone. They teach people simple or more intricate line dances for you to show off anywhere you find a good country beat. The food is so delightful. I had brisket for my first time there and it just melts n melds in you mouth with all the flavors. With a great staff and wonderful managment/owner its a place for all. From family nights to having beers with friends it has something that suits everyones taste. I have brought some friends there that arent big country fans and even they loved their time there. Its truly a place where you feel like youre at home once you walk in. Highly recommend spending time here.

We visited on a busy Saturday night, with a large party of 30+ people for a birthday. The food was great, the live band was fun, and the staff was EXCELLENT. We knew to manage our expectations with such a large group, but the restaurant team did not disappoint. Our service was timely, and with minimal errors. Incredible First Visit I visited Blue Smoke for the first time this week, and I was really impressed! The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for inviting and with a great vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when it came to the menu, and the timing of everything was spot on not too fast, not too slow. The food? Absolutely amazing. The brisket was some of the best I ve had in a long time. The whole experience was top-notch. I m already planning to return, probably over the weekend, to check out the live music. Though this place has been around for a year, I understand that they are in the process of rebranding this great spot as a destination for Country Music and BBQ lovers alike. Their BBQ is excellent, they hand butcher their CANADIAN meat onsite, all their sauces are made in-house and they serve the Best Fries Ive ever had. REALLY!!! Blue Smoke is managed by Jessica, a veteran in the hospitality industry, who instantly makes patrons feel welcome. Looking forward to coming in on a Saturday to enjoy live music.

The pulled pork is amazing! You have to come and get it!

Go anywhere else. First warning sign, empty on the Thursday night. I wanted to like this place but brisket should be juicy, flavourful and a great balance of meat and fat, caramelized on the edges. This was the opposite. It was pale, almost looked steamed, tasteless, verging on dry and the average BBQ sauce barely made it edible. The pork ribs were the same, cooked to the point of tastelessness, though not as dry, only redeeming factor the sauce. The sides were unimaginative and expensive for what you got. $31 for five thin strips of brisket and a small fries, too much. I gave it 2 stars because the restaurant business is hard and perhaps the burgers would be less disappointing, but I wont be back to find out. The waitress was lovely.

We were a bit surprised to see that they charge $8 for water (which we realized after the fact) but everything else about our dinner was great! Vegetarian options: There were enough interesting vegetarian options for me to choose from that I had a hard time picking just one to try! BBQ chickpeas offered as a protein add-on for the bowls and salads really increases the number of items to choose from that will still be filling. In the end, I went with the vegetarian platter which included an eggplant moussaka-type dish that I really enjoyed.

Our first visit a month ago was absolutely fantastic. Last night was probably the worst dinning experience we have ever had. We were there two hours, Our appetizers came out over an hour after we ordered and actually came out with our main course which we had ordered steak which came out cooked to death and like shoe leather. We will NOT be going back.

Worst food. The music was horrible and toooo loud. Please do not order the steak. Horrible all around. If you look at the tables no one orders food. They are only there to drink water and tea. There is a reason maybe they know the horrible band?

We had the fried rice balls which were ok. My friend ordered the brisket and I the ribs. Sides are all extra and beer is only in cans which was a disappointment. There are three options for the size of the brisket (& the ribs), he got the middle option and it was still a very small portion. Ribs were good and the string fries weren t bad either. Overall we won t be going back.

Live Music was so loud you couldnt even hear the person next to you. Our requests to lower the music fell on deaf ears. Food came out dry. Owner sits at bar and stares you down as you come in. Their traditional BBQ is decent, but anything other than that Id skip, especially with the price being so high.

Fantastic experience at Blue Smoke! The customer service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the manager, Jessica, and later the owner, Alex, who stopped by our table to introduce himself, making us feel truly valued. The food was amazing, especially the pulled pork highly recommend! The live music added a great vibe to the evening. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that we ll definitely repeat!

Me and my wife went there on Saturday night for our anniversary , it was our first time there. The service was perfect! The food was amazing and we danced to great to great Latin music. We really enjoyed ourselves and another great thing about Blue Smoke is that it closes late. This gives everyone a chance to enjoy themselves even more. We will definitely go back again.

Recently went for dinner here and must say I was impressed! Our server was very sweet and accommodating; food came out quick and hot! Each dish very delicious (and we tried a lot of the menu!) Could not hear the people at our own table. Not sure what s going on with the speakers, but it s horrible. We sat 5 feet from the live comedians & my friend kept saying, what did he say? . Tickets were $23 per person and comedians had loud mic s & we still had trouble hearing them. They should have tossed the whole sound system. Server offered Flat or Sparkling water, so, we chose Flat (as in Tap). I asked for Fish Tacos didn t have any. So, poutine & pizza then (to share). Pizza was so hard I couldn t cut it. Picked it up and chomped down on the hardest piece of stale overcooked thin bread. It hurt. Poutine was good, small, but good. Overcharge, removed from bill $8 water! Pizza - removed from bill. Poutine & alcohol-free Bellini HOLY $$$$

Our experience at Blue Smoke was not very good. We were seated for almost an hour before someone served us water. We waited over 2 hours for our meals. When they arrived the food was cold, and the steaks were over cooked. I questioned whether my filet was even a filet. The prices are very high, and as such you would expect very good quality. It s unfortunate because I would like to see small business do well in Bolton, I don t feel it s fair though send people to a restaurant that is so expensive, when the service and quality is extremely poor.

Fresh and very high quality food great service amazing owner and customer service is outstanding Feels like home made food. Very welcoming and great value for the money. The food has that Italian mama flavour to it even though the owner is a super friendly guy. At the bar, you feel like you re back in the 80s when social life was real.

Honestly this was a disappointing experience. Hearing from a few people to give this place a try, I caved, and I was absolutely disappointed. Went for Mother s Day dinner and we waited for a VERY long time for our meals, they all came out one at a time and everything was cold. Steaks were not cooked as asked. Mashed potato s tasted as though they were rotten and the veggies are another story. The girl who served us was good but for the price, you re better off going to the Keg or any other popular steak house and get real good food. Out of everything, the dessert was the best.

All the food was very good and decent size potions , service was good at the beginning but not towards the end , we waited 15 min for the waitress to come back and take our cash to pay that we had to call another waiter . Calamari was good but not worth $28 . We have had calamari at a lot of restaurants and never paid this much Overall a good experience .

The prices were expensive for alcohol for sure I found. Some options had fair prices and others not so much. I had the trio which was more expensive than the mac and cheese and I didnt really like it. The mac and cheese was good but it was barely warm when I got it. I noticed the servers didnt really clean my table compared to other tables which I found annoying trying to make room for everything around me. The hot chocolate was good but too much whipped cream as it was colder than I expected. Hopefully next time will be better.

I went there to open house yesterday and the atmosphere was amazing! One star. The employees were nice! 2 star. Extra point. I know the owner. 3 star. Another extra point. Definitely visiting again. 4 star and for 5 star the empowers were s- you know. Edit: I went back on my birthday and at the end of it there was a happy birthday song with a big candle! This was our first time eating here. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Vegetarian options: Although I am not vegetarian, there was a variety of vegetarian options.

WOW! I try to have something different each time I go into Blue Smoke and Alex and his team NEVER disappoint! From the apps to the mains to the dessert, it is ALL delicious! And the crème brûlée cheesecake is a MUST. All made in house! Bravo, Blue Smoke!

Italian restaurant with nice ambient , but little expensive side. we ordered Valentine menu with 4-course meal and it was great!

Had the fish tacos and steak; both were amazing. Fish tacos weren t messy to eat, had the right sauce and breading (not too heavy) and steak was done perfectly! Get the mashed potatoes with it, so good. Wine selection was a little intense, got some help with the selection from the expert and had the best glass of red I ve had in ages.

Our server, Maddy, was lovely and made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. The rest of the staff were equally personable: their manager, Jessica, greet us with a smile and checked in with us throughout the evening; and their sommelier and Wine Master, GianCarlo, who served wine perfectly paired with the meal. From the special appetizers, to the amazing main meal and to the incredible desserts, every dish satisfied our palate and displayed the chefs technical prowess. Alex and his restaurant have truly outdone themselves with the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be returning very soon.

Amazing food, great staff and beautiful set up. So much flavour in every bite. Got the bruschetta to start and it was packed with so much flavour. The lamb burger and fries was phenomenal. Will definitely go back.

Going to begin by saying I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the food and selection of the food and drink. Prices were a bit on the high end and corkage should not be $45. I really do highly recommend this place though. I want them to succeed because Bolton deserves fine establishment. The wine list is truly impressive, its fairly priced and the wine guy is actually knowledgeable and not just a buzzword in a suit. They have a legit espresso machine and pull a proper shot. Now what wouldnibcua change? Lights were too bright, it was pretty cold inside, and the food came out not as warm as I would have liked it. But these are very minor issues and could easily be addressed or be one off occurences. I like this place 4.3/5

This was our first time there, and we couldnt of been happier with the place. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The food was amazing, whe we were done eating, I looked and my boyfriend and asked if there was seconds hahaha...we had our reservations for 830pm so that we can sample the night entertainment and again that did not disappoint either. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and entertainment.we are looking forward to going back again soon.

Took my family of boys (all big eaters and particular about their meats) and everything was excellent! Service was quick, friendly and accurate and food was great! I ve heard they had some kinks to work out but decided to try it anyway and I m glad we did. All businesses have to find what works and it takes trial and error. We all left happy and I hope many more give them a chance. Thank you for a great evening!

We visited Blue Smoke last night with friends. I have to say, staff was lovely. Food was deliscious. Another great addition to Bolton. Pricing is probably no different than a place like the Keg. The difference is, none of us felt that bloated and gross feeling we normally get from these chain restaurants. Its a place for date night or a night w friends or family w older children. Cant wait to go back on another date night.

Everything from the service to the food was incredible! Tons of delicious options and everything we ordered was perfect! Chilled wine , free bread with a delicious apple butter , apps , entrees and desserts were all perfection . Can t wait to go back Dietary restrictions: I have a severe allergy to all nuts and this restaurant has no options with nuts so I felt very safe eating here ! Our drink order took a very long time and disappointed once we received it . Our lamb burger was very salty . Ask for veg . One received one Brussel sprout cut in half . I m all for helping new restaurants in the area but was disappointed in the servers and value .

It is not a culinary experience. Food is alright, we had a party of 12 people and all of our meat dishes were either cold or warm... took approx 50 min to sort out the bill at the end. The octopus dish tasted great if we had more of it....it was more of a bean dish with a trace of octopus on top. I am sorry you cant charge $30 for a dish and serve beans!! The fries were over salted! Other than that food is a just. Save your time and money. PS Wish a took a picture of the octopus dish.

Dinner for 4 was barely warm, two pieces of vegetable on the plate. The silliest frites I ve ever had in my life, think a bag of hickory sticks. Ribs we re tasty but fatty. They offered to bring my wife a warm serving of brisket, then came back to say no brisket was available, this is at 6pm. What if someone else wanted to order brisket for dinner. Approximately $250.00 later we left very unsatisfied.

Although the service was good, the food was terrible. My steak was the worst steak Ive ever had, and that includes minute steaks. For a $50 steak, that just isnt good enough. My wife and two children thought their dishes were horrible as well. Sorry, we wont be back. If you want to stay open, you better get the food right, or people wont be returning.

Went last night for the first time as i just moved to bolton, on a thursday night at 6pm there was almost nobody in the restaurant, that being said it still took an entire hour for our food to get served and when it did i was extremely disappointed. The 42$ brisket was bone dry and tasted bland other than the bbq sauce they drowned it in, the chicken was soggy and bland aswell. I would highly recommend to avoid this place.

Pricey for the location. Nice ambiance and very chill. My dish wasnt bad. I had the chop. Nice size and Interesting blend of ingredients, but very set back with the sides. My wife had the fish and that was bad. Fish was bland and luke warm. The rice was cold and only four stands of veggies. Not worth the price at all. The drinks are way over priced which set the total higher than expected. Leave a cash tip if necessary because the minimum choice is 18%. For a meal that only lasted an hour, it was a good payday for them. There are other steak houses to choose from that are better.

Quality, environment, and service do not reflect the value of their food. Steak was okay at best, cooked properly, but not a $50 cut of meat. They were not willing to substitute veggies for a salad, which i found unusual, even when I offered to pay for the upgrade. The inside of the restaurant is dated. Drinks were good, live music was also really good. Just fell short of expectations overall. Likely wont return or recommend.

I finally had a chance to go and we were both very happy with everything. I had tabouleh salad and 3 types of dips with pita. They were both amazing. I never knew I loved tabouleh salad! Its Tapas Tuesday, so we had a few more options to choose from. The owner, Alex is very welcoming and couldnt have been a better host. I highly recommend it!

WOW, what an unexpected pleasure! Not very enticing from highway 50, but at least theres lots of parking, and I think theyre going to need it. We lucked out and happened to arrive on Tapas Tuesdays. The tabouli and parsley wrap was outstanding, as were the puff pastry/shrimp offerings. The menu is varied ... lots more to try, and were thinking about using their take-out for New Years Eve. Perfectly cooked steak and very high quality. The potato was amazing and whole meal was very reasonably priced for the quality. Got the blue blood feature negroni and is was perfect. Will be back

Okay. Went last night. The people and service was great. The chef came out to say hello and see how everyone was doing. The food was good, but not outstanding. I had the chicken, which was cooked well and the potato was good, but i don t get what all the hype was about. Also had the trio dip, which in all honesty could ve been out of a jar and the friend tortilla chips were so greasy. The prices were insanely high. The atmosphere looked okay. Nothing extravagant Definitely not set to match their pricing. Most place at the start ask about your water flat or sparkling. Usually flat water is free. We didn t find out we got charged till we got our bill Personally I wouldn t go back. Not worth the money spent.

Just had our company Holiday party at the Blue Smoke and our staff all loved the food, servers and manager were so accommodating and pleasant. Alex the owner came to talk with the group, had a nice conversation. We can t wait to come back! Vegetarian options: Created delicious vegan dish! Dietary restrictions: Catered to our wheat free guest and didn t have to worry about any nuts with the meals.

The restaurant and service were great however, the food is overpriced and didn t taste good. The caesar salad was smothering in dressing and the French fries were over-salted. No pepper mill on the table and I was shocked to see I had to pay $8 for a bottle of water. If you re going to gouge me when I ask for water and lemon, let me know before just adding it to the bill. Definitely won t be back as there was simply no value for the money. The culinary experience was very disappointing. Parking: Lots of parking
