The BBQ chicken leg was very tasty and cooked perfectly, and the salad and hummus were very fresh and delicious. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Vegetarian options: Yummy lentil soup, hummus, salad and falafels.

Amazing customer service. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Reasonable price for the quantity. Both of us ate and we had left over to take with us. This little restaurant is nestled in Bolton surrounded between Popeyes and Starbucks. Perfect place to have a nice quiet Halal dinner or lunch!

I used to live in bolton and loved this place. I was passing by and thought i d get my usual order. But when i got home it was totally different than what i was use to. I felt there was more salad than actual rice/fries with meat. Use to get more food and tasted much better. Guess i won t be coming back. Plus no cutlery and ONE NAPKIN.

Food used to be better. Got a shawarma wrap and asked for extra hummus, garlic and tzatziki, my wrap was still so dry I had to ask for extra sauce on the side. It was mostly lettuce and meat, not enough veggies. Fries were great though, very fresh and crunchy. Ceasar salad was plain, didnt love the sauce, tasted like Kraft. Probably wont be going back again. Also pretty expensive for a shawarma place.

Restaurant is nice. Service lacked the lady at cash wasnt overly friendly. And the food was very disappointing for $20. Barely any chicken. It was mostly rice. Not worth the money.

The rice and chicken are delicious although, I cant get over the look and texture of this sauce. (Greek sauce?) Also the sauce is very bland. People usually get chicken on the rocks because its cheaper than a platter and they have only 1 size which comes to 20 bucks with a drink. A quick and simple solution would be improving the sauce and having a smaller size for chicken. EDIT: 1 star due to your emotional behavior. You cant take constructive criticism, maybe youre a bit illiterate as well, I can tell by the way you type. Ill do an even better solution and Ill never return to your store. I make better shawarma anyway.

I wouldn t say we would ever return. Not was it used to be. Order a chicken shawarma plate as we did in the past, but it s not the same. I am assuming the new owners have changed the spices or sauces. I wish I had a better review as we always support local but it s not same as it was.

Tasteless, barely any meat in the wrap just thick pieces of lettuce and the customer service wasn t great. No kindness, no smile, no greeting, I do not recommend.

Came back into town after 2 years and thought I would try this place again. Does not taste good at all! The chicken is all fat and tastes like it s boiled! The garlic sauce is so thick and has a horrible smell.

This place was very nice and had exceptional food but now they change owners and the quality, taste and service no longer good. Today Friday May 31.2024. I got 2 sandwiches . When I came home the chicken have no taste, cold and even look like it was not cooked. The cost was about 25.00 and I had to disposed in the garbage.

Shawarma wrap was cold, bland, and inedible. Also had a weird watery sauce. Two other shawarma spots close by- save yourself the $15 and eat some place else.

Nice looking place, clean bathroom, a bit of a wait for a couple wraps. The size of the wrap was big but mainly full lettuce, the chicken portion is very small in comparison to all other places (maybe 1.5-2oz) Lady at the front was pretty nice but the guys in the back really took their time.

My very first experience of this place- 0/10. Terrible food - no comments on the service- took 10 mins to make 2 wraps only. When we got home and had them, i could smell oil from the wrap which might have been kept for days or god knows how long. The chicken in our wraps wasn t fresh at all and it was BLAND ! It literally made me throw up after that. Would never recommend this place.!

We got there just before closing, and the beautiful lady with a warm smile at the cash was still very welcoming and didnt makw us feel rushed for coming so late. We ordered the beef/lamb plate and the chicken shawarma plate.. Both were DELICIOUS! Will definitely return and I would definitely recommend you eat here if youre in the neighborhood.. I wouldve liked it if there was more meat on my plate (my opinion), but the flavour made up for it.. Such a good experience, even being as short as it was.. Thanks La Shawarma!

Updated review: Unfortunately I wasnt happy with the food we received today. The rice is good but the rest wasnt so good. Chicken on the rocks was mainly rice and the wraps we got were super dry and not nearly as much meat as it used to have. The hummus was also watery and had no flavour. Sad to say I likely wont be back. Original review: Tried this place for the first time on my way home from work and I was pleasantly surprised with the chicken shawarma wrap. Im often dissatisfied with these as they can be so hit and miss but this one was good and a really good size too. One by itself is enough for sure! I got them with lettuce, pickled turnip and hummus and tahini sauce. Very nice combo for my taste but is not their typical toppings.

I had an amazing experience with LA Shawarma. The customer service was outstanding and food was delicious.

There is a very rude woman at the front who is clearly racist. She needs to be fired lol. Surprised that they kept someone around that long. The rice was soaked in oil and had no flavour. The falafel was half the size and no garlic or flavour. There was barely any meat on my chicken on the rocks. I needed to suggest the refund to you when your food is Making people sick. You have zero customer service. If I was scamming for a refund I wouldnt have driven home and then back, I would have done it the first time I was there. My wife got sick when we left your establishment and you made her sick. Just wanted to leave a review for this amazing restaurant. My friends and I have been hear twice, ordering either chicken shawarma or chicken on the rocks. The food is always hot and fresh, chicken is not dried out like some restaurants, and the rice was amazing. I recommend to anyone who wants to get bang for their buck!

Since the ownership change, quality of food and service has gone down hill. Ingredients are not as fresh, weve seen browned lettuce several time, mix up in orders and ended up throwing the entire order in the trash...see pics below due to lack of quality and flavor!! When u challenge the staff/ownership to the lack of quality they make excuses, they do not empathize, nor do they admit their errors. My wife and I use to order from this place on a regular basis prior to the ownership change, now these guys want a quick buck at the expense of quality, nor will they rectify an issue if u bring it to their attention...no thx, were done with this sad excuse of a shwarma place!!

We decided to try this place out since most shawarma places we went to have been very good. My husband and I both got chicken shawarma plates. First off the garlic sauce was made with corn starch and had ZERO taste of garlic. No salt was added to the dish and no flavour was in the dish as well. We never been so disappointed with food before. When telling the workers they laughed and said this is how we make it. Only go here if you like bland food

I get fish and chips from here all the time and it s great. I went to get fish and chips today and when I came home the sauce that they had given me smelled old and sour. I realized it after I put it on my fish and was forced to throw my food out. Very disappointed.

Authentic taste and you can feel the difference from other chains, I will be coming back as long as they keep using fresh and quality ingredients.

It was my first time visiting LA SHAWARMA and first off I need to say just how friendly the team here is, I was greeted with multiple smiles and the friendliest attitude throughout. The food delicious! I had the chicken shawarma with everything in it, and was offered to try some beef/lamb combination (next time I m ordering this it since it was so so good), but the chicken shawarma wrap was so tasty and I ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend this place if you re in the area or driving by make sure to add this as one of your stops! Thank you so much everyone at La Shawarma!

The food is delicious. The owner is really kind and you can tell how much he cares about the quality of the food and the people he serves. I ve never liked beef or lamb but he gave my wife and I samples and we loved it. We ll be ordering that next time. AUTHENTIC shawarma unlike the neighbouring fast food chain restaurants. Must try!

A bit more $ than the chain places but worth every penny. Found my new go to shwarma spot. The owner is kind and friendly. Oh and baklava with actual pistachios!!!!

We have been buying take out from La Shawarma for many years. Both the quality and the quantity have been consistently superb. We also appreciate the fact that this business is run by a loving family. It just makes the whole experience memorable and much more enjoyable.

Simply amazing family run restaurant. Chef Kamil takes great pride in his craft, which is producing mouth watering food. I know rice often gets overlooked, but it is the best I have ever had a n a perfect compliment to the mixed Chicken and beef Shawarma. Decided to try the falafel and I normally do not like them as they an be dry, but would highly recommend them here. Cooked to perfection and you can taste the freshness. Oh and I topped it all.off with a piece of baklava, words cant describe how good it was. Asked to speak with chef as the food was amazing and he is so humble. If in Bolton, stop and check out LA Shawarma and say HI to Chef Kamil for me.

The owner is friendly and caring. The food is excellent, never had any issues since the new owner took over. PREVIOUS REVIEW This place has THE WORST service.. First, their phone number was out of service for several days.. They dont respond to messages in their Facebook page. Then they finally fix the number, you call and get put on hold for 10 minutes.. You try calling back and get a message that their voicemail is not set up yet!!! What kind of operation are they running.. Ill just drive down the road and grab something elsewhere, where we get good service.

I don t know how they do it, but their meat is seasoned very well. I ve been to many shawarma places, but this is the only restaurant where I ve noticed the meat itself has so much flavour - not to mention the extra flavours you can obtain with your choice of sauces.

The food here is phenomenal highly recommend the butter chicken shawarma.

First time Ive set foot in this restaurant and after this unpleasant welcome, it will be the last I ordered a Kabab Sandwich because being French I have seen all kinds, however after opening (order to take away) I realize that I had a Falafel sandwich In short, for the sandwich it was nothing more but at $13 I would much rather go elsewhere in a fast food chain! The person at reception (probably the owner of the establishment) is not welcoming, gave me the sandwich without even looking at me which is, to say the least, a big lack of respect, especially in the restaurant sector. . In short, I dont recommend this place if you like to be in a good atmosphere

Terrible food and service. We ordered a falafel plate which is about $14 and all we got was some rice, 6 dry falafel and salad. No humus or any type of sauce. My husband repeatedly reminded to put the sauce but to our disappointment it came without it when we checked at home. We also got the chicken shawarma and it was dry and bland too. Will never visit this place again.

I had the opportunity to dine at La Shawarma with a few pals of mine. I would say the service was excellent as was the atmosphere. The restaurant is very specious and provided plenty of meal options. The food was tasty, however the chicken shawarma wrap that I had just didnt have enough garlic sauce to quench my expectations; especially when used to the amount Ive had at an Osmows of Lazeez franchise. Besides the garlic sauce, the entire meal was delicious and the fries were crispy and tasted great! One pattern Ive noticed with restaurants these days is that many of their menus display a meal and its price (with text indicating fries/side order is included), but you have to pay additional for this. I simply wish everything would be included for a fixed price, as it eases the confusion I often experience when dining out which I rarely do as-is.

The meats not cooked properly shawarma style, extremely overpriced paid nearly $70 for 4 chicken shawarma plates, i had to ask the guy to put sauce in the bag and he gives me 2 red sauces and 2 white sauces for 4 places, overall quantity and quality is below satisfactory, he loads it up with rices and sprinkles the chicken on top. New Management, really sux, won t ever be coming back to this place, used to be a great place before this new management recently.

The food was great, The rice was amazing it has the perfect amount of everything. The chicken was also pretty good not as good as the rice but still good. The Atmosphere was nice with new marble counters a nice shelf and a vending machine with great drinks such as Mugs Root Beer, Fanta, Canada Dry and Coca Cola. The service was nice but we ordered the chicken shawarma and they didn t ask for if I wanted sauce or not so we got a chicken shawarma in garlic sauce and hot sauce and I didn t want sauce so we ordered another.

Having tried the shawarma that the Middle eastern diaspora has instilled in the culture of Ottawa and Montreal, I can say for anyone looking for the best shawarma in this GTA, this is it. Everything from their plates to their wraps, (get the wraps without lettuce and with extra garlic sauce) are perfect. 10/10, don t need to travel far searching for the best & authentic shawarma place in the GTA no more.

Owner is amazingly nice, food was some of the best we have had. He let us try falafel and beef on top of our chicken shawarma. He takes great pride in his food. Our go to place now

Went in to get a shawarma and it was great and amazing staff aswell!

Taste was ok but the quantity for the chicken on the rocks was lessen i ordered it before and it was like average but today it was just like a small bowl and i told a guy about that he told me that they will put more on the other order and i was laughing 1 star is also not worth and if people are paying atleast give them the food for what they pay.

Absolutely delicious; large portions include plenty, THE SAUCES ARE AMAZING, Speedy service.

Best authentic shawarma place in Bolton

I visit this place for the first time . Food is delicious and great customer service!

First of all we have kids taking out the order with the whole family in the back without hairnets. It is a safety hazard with kids in the kitchen. The wife s owner starts breastfeeding their kid in the store. Ordered a chicken shawarma plate and chicken wrap. Took around 20-25 minutes to make. The daughter who is around 8 years old brings the food to our table. The plate had a hair in the dish. We were offered another plate. Then the wife of the owner comes out of nowhere rudely to our table berating us to pay extra for the drink we chose - mideating. It was rude, as we were eating. Anyhow, paid extra for the drink. Customer service is lacking. Not planning to eat here again.

The best shawarma ever

Great food! La Shawarma outshines other popular Shawarma franchises such as Osmows and Lazeez. They do a great job, and it is well worth a detour. Previous reviews point to it being family run so even better to support them in times such as this.
