The food is excellent. One of my favorite restaurants.

Food WAY too expensive for the quality of the products. Dried out mussels, definitely not fresh! Cold beef ravioli, a more than ordinary lobster risotto at $50. The manager (of whom we had absolutely nothing asked) who interrupts me out of nowhere while I am talking about the wine chosen with my fathers partner and who chews his gum unceremoniously like a horse while he mansplains to us about it. that we were exactly saying to ourselves. Super classy! It calls itself a wine bar but it s definitely an overstatement. One page of white for 4 pages of red. No new world white options and no orange wine options. In short disappointing. You go there, if you want to burn money, if you want a culinary experience, you go elsewhere. Our server was excellent though! ***The savage response from the owner clearly proves the lack of class of the place. I would like to remind you that there were 6 of us and that 4 of us thought the same thing, hence the writing of this review***

Excellent meal at Novello. Starter of three (3) grilled sausages (artisanal) accompanied by grilled peppers, linguine alla vongole dish very generous with clams and I finished with a chocolate mousse and an excellent cappuccino. For 1 hour and a half, I felt like I was in Italy. The portions are generous. Bottled water, coffee and even sugar packets come from Italy! There is a daily menu with a varied choice. If you go to Boucherville, dont hesitate to walk through the door of this restaurant! Parking: Plenty of parking spaces behind the restaurant

Ordinary place, food was ok but not worth the price. Table missing Salt, Pepper, and bread served cold. I dunno i was expecting much more from this restaurant based on the prices..

We went to eat at your restaurant. Very good food and very beautiful restaurant. On the other hand, we were treated to service that was passable. The young man who served us was good but the young girl who assigned the seats was a little disappointing. She didnt assign us a table and we asked her if she would seat us and she told us to choose a place ourselves. I would have thought I was at McDonalds. Furthermore, I doubt that this young girls clothing is appropriate for this type of restaurant. Dress too short, very present neckline. I wonder if all of this is really necessary in this type of high-end establishment.

Ordered lobster gnocchi, there were only a few pieces of shrimp, no lobsters for a very disappointing $28 starter

The tuna tartare was excellent and the service was great. The fried calamari were slightly overdone, but still quite good. Around 19:00, the music was a bit loud, it was harder to have a conversation.

I order for $109 Minestrone received iced despite the fact that the delivery man arrived in 15 minutes after he picked it up, I called the restaurant because for me an iced soup does not work, the girl answers you just have to put it in the microwave! Second point, the seafood soup at $28 is very ungenerous, its not worth the cost, the penne a la gigi lacked sauce and taste, we added parmesan to be able to eat a little and not send it all away. the order in the trash, There are restaurants that should refrain from doing delivery if you cannot ensure quality! The girls response to the phones to reheat my dish in the microwave was the icing on the Sunday

Terrible service from our waitress. Zero experience absent we did not see it we looked for it everywhere yet restaurant not full this evening. our first time we left from st constant and despite the excellent food the service discouraged us not sure to repeat this evening because of our waitress . We explained our disappointment to another more natural waiter and to the waitress herself. We would have liked to speak to the manager but didnt have the chance to meet him

Went there couple of time last summer. Beautiful decor, nice, ambiance, friendly staff, amazing pasta dishes (portion are on the big side) and great wine selection. Not to mention that the bathroom are super clean. Will definitely be going back!!!

Olivier, very bad service, it s very rare, I ve never seen that! Arrogant and rude attitude. Made us feel uncomfortable. As if we were disturbing him! Incredible for a restaurant that we loved going to before!

We were in the private room. It was spacious, but the service was terrible. We ate 2 hours after arriving. The food was very good.

A delicious classic Italian restaurant. Everything was good and we had a great time as a couple. 100% service and very beautiful decor. The dish I had was Icelandic cod and I still dream about how good it was.

The lost stars are because of the prices. Honestly, the service was excellent, the food was hot and good. The private room lacks heat, the restaurant room is much more beautiful. But what is striking is the prices! On the menu, they are already quite expensive, but on top of that, I took the butcher s cut , which was priceless. My mistake was not asking the waitress the price. It was a sirloin, served with fries and some grilled vegetables. Good, but nothing extraordinary. Price on invoice: $65 . The filet mignon on the menu was $55 I would have expected a lower or equal price but $65 for a steak and fries is really exaggerated!!! Really!! A dish at this price deserves to be mentioned when ordering . I feel a bit like Ive been tricked.

Excellent cheesecake! However, I wonder about the content of the braised beef ravioli... for my part, the ravioli were filled with a rather dubious pâté type texture.

Incredible service the only negative thing on the price side

Service: fast and courteous Fried squid: tender and very good sauce Octopus carpaccio excellent although a little salty Seafood linguini good but really too salty. It s really a shame! Music: a little too loud. I could have given it 5* but one star lost mainly because of too much salt especially in the pasta.

Its our favorite restaurant, everything is exquisite...well done and thank you we will continue to come

Great service , very hospitable people, drinks were really nice. I enjoyed the night, but the food was not as good as the rest of the service. The food was served a little bit late, and it was COLD . But in general it was a good experience and I would go again .

We loved our experience at this restaurant. We were seated on the outdoor terrace and enjoyed the view we had from this location as well as the general atmosphere of the restaurant. The table service was excellent , the waiter took care of us without us having to ask for anything. The food was very good (we had pasta). The prices are still quite high, in our opinion (beers, wines, general menu). We recommend this restaurant!! Parking: Its located at the back of the restaurant!

This restaurant has potential but presently lacks much of what a genuine italian restaurant should consist of. Pros: beautiful decor though not italian by any stretch. The male staff were serviable. The food tasted (risotto and penne gigi) good but menu was limited. Cons: It felt more like a tacky pick up joint than a classy italian restaurant. My husband and I felt like we were in a downtown french reseau contact meat market. The female staff all seemed irrirated for some reason, perhaps it was due to the slew of barely clad array of cheap patrons. The service was polite but had to repeated ask for our drinks and olive oil for our bread which btw was rock hard and bottom burnt. The bocconcini/tomato antipasti was actually ?fried? bocconcini on a layer or what I think was crushed tomatoes (tested like thick tomato paste)/capers/black olives.. sounds good ? Nope, there was way too much acidity;definately not well balanced. This gavascon induced entrée costs almost 20$ !! Italian much ? Not! Overall, this place was O K (being generous here) but certainly nothing to brag about. I highly recommend this restaurant to young men who are looking to meet young (or old) french women who are dressed to kill and much of anything else. And boys, dont forget to bring your mucho mulah ! Its quite expensive for the quality of food offered. This is definitely not a family or romantic oriented establishment, but only because of the cheap crowds it seems to attract. The menu/food needs great improvement as well. In response to the Owners reply Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review. As a restaurant patron, you seem to lack professionalism and the ability to take criticism. This being said, I wish you many more years of operating and going strong.

We had reserved the private room for 30 people, the service by Célia and her colleagues was more than perfect. Despite our large group, the food was delicious! Thank you for contributing to a successful birthday celebration. The restaurant and staff accommodated us as much as possible and our guests were delighted. Novello will become a favorite restaurant for many of us. Thank you all so much again!

Meal on October 13, in the evening, contemporary decoration, noisy atmosphere, music too loud, difficult to have a sustained conversation, wait 1 hour 15 minutes, between sitting at the table and taking orders, excessive wine prices, for the 4 people, who took the chorizo shrimp futticinis, two had food poisoning, abdominal pain, diarrhea, 90 dollars for a glass of wine and a dish, didnt finish eating (fortunately), didnt take their business card

the mini wagyu burgers taste burnt their fries are not edible and what can we say about their tiramisu... pathetic a white cake with whipped cream no taste or texture of mascarpone and the Italian liqueur practically absent 0/10 not call it one tiramisu

The staff provides great service, a beautiful atmosphere, good choice of wine, hot meal, well cooked and seasoned. The portions are very generous. For all the Karens, you dont go there to eat in 30 minutes, bill paid, take the time to sit down, enjoy a little vino, and dont be stupid, order one in, continue your bottle, talk, talk, talk, and order you a real Italian dish! Even though the steak and lamb is good, TAKE THEIR PASTA SPECIALTY! Stunning Italian restaurant! WORST NOT SPA TOO SALTY. P.s if you dont eat any serious spa takes to bring.

Le repas était parfait! Mais la serveuse niaisait avec des connaissances autour de notre table. Elle buvait du vin avec eux au lieu d offrir un service optimal. Les aides serveurs étaient incroyables et super gentil! Pour finir il nous a fallu 15 mins pour pouvoir payer notre facture parce que la serveuse jasait avec des amis autour d un verre.

Very lively, the food is amazing and fresh. The dish are simple yet just with enough garnish to justify the prices. Staff did a decent job despite having a few rookies.

I loved the Novello restaurant. The waitresses are friendly and the oysters are fresh. I opted for the octopus and swordfish. Succulent!

Excellent Italian cuisine. The lobster gnocchi starter is incredible. Good choice of pastas and pizzas. The place is not too family-friendly. Beautiful modern dining room with full bar. To return definitively, as a couple or with friends.

Restaurant: novello restaurant located in Boucherville very close to a park and in an amalgamation of good restaurants, novello is one of the rare restaurants open in the afternoon which is very practical. Atmosphere: decorate it chic and tasteful. A high-end clientele from Boucherville but the restaurant remains accessible to provide a gastronomic experience. Menu: diverse high-end and sound experience, your taste buds will certainly love it. Service: quality for each customer and treating them in the same way, with care and a smile Total experience: the novello will satisfy your desires no matter what you want for an evening, over the years their dish has grown in size and the quality remains the same, their crispy vegetables and their breathtaking puree makes the Novello a unique experience.

I was invited there for a colleagues farewell dinner but, personally, its not my style of restaurant. A little too posh and too expensive for my budget. Additionally, I avoid encouraging places where the criteria for hiring waitresses is clearly based on physical appearance.

Excellent food, a little expensive, but everything is excellent. The very varied wine list, perfect place for a dinner with friends or a business dinner. A little noisy for one-on-ones though. Courteous service, friendly people, beautiful modern and cozy decor. Vegetarian options: The tomato and basil spaghetti are excellent, but it would be nice to have more options (pesto, mushrooms, spinach, rapini...)

A little disappointed, I came last summer and the food was impeccable! This evening was different, the salmon cold and very well seasoned, the mussels tasteless. The waitress accommodated us well despite everything and the tartare was good but for the price I will not return.

Wow! Great restaurant! The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the service. The waitress Tamara was particularly attentive and talented. She knew the menu by heart and took the time to share the options with us (special diet/vegetarianism). We will return and recommend this restaurant to everyone. Please note that they have a private room for groups on request.

I would like to share my experience last night. It has a nice ambience. The food was ok but expensive. Be careful when ordering a fish as they serve you uncook salmon and when you tell them its not cook .. the server has audacity to tell you that its roseé from inside means its medium rare cooked. I just wanted to say the salmon can be raw and good cooked but not medium rare just accept the uncook food and dont give excuse. The service went from good to worst.The other thing is the dessert. Do not order dessert the serve you a dry cake with sauce for dessert. The place is ok and it just makee feel to say that you do not deserve to charge so much for the food you serve. The experience for me and my wife turned into night mare for a 200 collar bill. Thanks for it you made our day.

Overall tremendous experience at this location! The staff was so kind and friendly that it contributes to the general atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was delicious but would have appreciated a little more quantity in their servings because it was (and i have to put emphasis on that) very good !

We went on a Thursday evening with a reservation for 7:30. I went with my partner. We waited 10 minutes at the entrance without anyone deigning to take care of us I had to intercept a server so that we were finally assigned our table. We waited 1 hour before being served our starter and another 45 minutes for the main course. We left without coffee or dessert anticipating another unreasonable delay. On the other hand, the food and wine were excellent. The staff was courteous. Im not criticizing the staff (kitchen and table staff) who did their best, but there is a problem. Its very noisy and no tablecloths on the tables. I should point out that our bill came to over $200 including tip. At this price, we are entitled to have certain expectations In short, I wont go back but I doubt it will improve because it was full!

How do you make a customer wait 15 minutes in advance for a take-out order when you called 35 minutes earlier? Ask Novello

Excellent restaurant for its delicious menus and meals. For desert we went to the Chocolate Favorites shop just 5 minutes walk away, next door.

Mixed experience on our side. My partner and I went a few weeks ago. The food was good with the exception of the fried squid which was quite fatty and full of breading. From an Italian restaurant I would have expected more finesse. The worst thing, however, was the fact that the waiter stopped serving us after serving us our main course. We saw him go and sit at a table with friends. My meat was undercooked so when he didnt come back to the table, my partner got up to go see him. Luckily the busboy from the next section (not even ours) volunteered and finished the service until the end. It was also another waitress who made us pay. We also waited a very long time for our drinks and glasses of wine, while we saw the barmaid taking shots with customers. Good food, but bad service.

I tried to get a reservation the same day, the person who answered the phone said he would see what he could do. During this time I was helping another person say: what is the idea of wanting to make a reservation on a Friday evening at this time (in a not very courteous way). I understand I was last minute but I imagine you dont say such a thing to clients who are just showing up on site. A big zero for this said person. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to take any reservations with you.
