Food is always burnt. Ive been here for breakfast two times in a row now and both times Ive received burnt bacon, toast and hash browns. Stop over cooking!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Its been a staple in town my entire life: breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus their meat counter is to die for. They catered our wedding in 2022 and everyone is *still* raving about the food and service. Friday night fish and chips and breaky will always be my fave. 11/10

We hired fresh kutz to cater our 94 person wedding in June of 2023. This was BEST decision ever! There is a lot to worry about when planning a wedding, but we never once worried about the catering. I cannot recommend Shannon, Clarence, Brooke, and the fresh kutz team enough! From first contact to final contact - everything was 10/10 amazing. I emailed Shannon asking her availability and if they could accommodate a wedding at a private property. She responded very promptly with the most can do attitude ever - she immediately put us at ease. She sent us so much information and answered all of my question during the year of planning. There s nothing corporate about fresh kutz - you don t feel like a number to them. It honestly felt like we were dealing with friends! Shannon is fresh kutz secret weapon - she is one of the most competent and friendly people we have ever met and we knew we were in good hands with her!! The tasting experience was very fun and the food is amazing. The set up on the wedding day was flawless it felt like having friends help us! Shannon had to attend another wedding that evening, so the lead server Brooke took charge during the wedding. Brooke was amazing - the servers and cooks were amazing - you barely noticed they were there! There wasn t a single issue. Service was fast, food was hot, clearing was fast and none of it was interruptive to speeches. People raved about the food during both cocktail hour and dinner. We chose our wedding date based solely on fresh kutz availability, and we are so happy we did! We also felt they were very reasonably priced. If you are thinking about hiring fresh kutz to cater an event or wedding, please don t think twice! They exceeded every single expectation. Kind, professional, fun, amazing food, I could go on and on! Oh I should also mention that they were so good about accommodating dietary restrictions of guests.

Their menu is incredible, everything is great! The atmosphere and customer service is amazing, the staff are so friendly and remember you after just a visit! The fish and chips will forever be a go to! Butcher selection is also awesome, amazing flavour and will never be disappointed.

Best Deli restaurant in Bracebridge.

I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic catering team for my wedding, and my husband and I couldnt be happier with the results. The food they provided was absolutely delicious and was a hit among all of our guests from meat-lovers to vegetarians and vegans. The standout dishes were definitely the amazing prime rib and the delightful strawberry shortcake served in charming mason jars. One of the things that really stood out to me was the professionalism and organization demonstrated by the catering staff, especially Shannon, in particular, who played a key role in making everything run smoothly. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that every aspect of the catering was perfect was truly impressive. Clarence, the chef, is also such a fabulous person to work with and extremely talented and kind. Both Shannon and Clarence went above and beyond to make sure that our vision for the catering was brought to life. Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff themselves were a joy to work with. They were attentive, friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs and requests. Its clear that they take pride in their work and are genuinely passionate about making events special for their clients. Overall, we are beyond grateful for the wonderful experience provided by this catering team. From the initial planning stages to the execution on the day of the event, everything was flawless. The food was ok. However the service was below average. The server was barely smiling. We only got water from the server, she never asked us if we want coffee or anything to drink. And we got our bill so fast, I didnt even finish my plate! I am a fast eater! I probably wont come back here again.

This restaurant is SO great. The staff is very friendly and the food is tasty, ready quickly and very fairly priced. We chose this business to cater our wedding this year because we love the food so much. If you re dropping in for lunch the Reuben(or any sandwiches), soup of the day and goat cheese and pecan salad is excellent!

We had Fresh Kutz cater our wedding in the fall of 2015. Everyone at our wedding was amazed by food. I highly recommend using them for any event, or even stopping in for a sandwich to go.

Amazing service, perfect breakfast (for Torontonians- the peameal is better than Carousel Bakerys!) We love the eggs Benny when its available (its a special). Expect a bit of a wait, especially if you are more than 4 ppl in your party but its worth it!

Quick service, great price, and tasty food. We ordered salads, hamburgers, chicken strips, soup and sandwiches as a party of 6 for lunch and ate every bite. They also sell huge steaks to bbq at home. I would definitely eat here again.

We used Fresh Kutz as our wedding caterer and Shannon and the entire Fresh Kutz team provided a perfect service. Planning was stress-free, the day-of service was extremely organized and didnt need any input from us, and most importantly the food was delicious and delivered hot to our guests. We received many compliments about FK from our guests - using Fresh Kutz for your next event is a no-brainer.

They know what they are doing. Everything we ordered was delicious. The cook on the meat was perfect, the ingredients seem to be high quality, and the seasoning was bang on. If I lived in Bracebridge Id be 10 pounds heavier because of how good the food was. Ill definitely return.

Greatest food ever

Its always a place myself and my colleagues would look forward to when we order our lunches. I often get their Chicken Cesar wrap and the soup of the day. Our orders usually are fries, gravy, chicken club or the Friday Special. Their meats are always fresh and have tons of flavor, their daily soups are made very well and leave you wanting for more. Its homestyle meals are what make it so special. My favourite is the Chicken Cesar wrap, the wraps are always a great texture while the chicken is moist and cooked perfectly. The cesar dressing they have is by far the best form of cesar I have had to date and I always keep going back to it! If you want a bang for your buck and a great place to eat (and great the next day!) youll want to support this local business!

Delicious!! What a great atmosphere too! While watching the guys prepare fresh and delicious food, you can see the other s cleaning, greeting, holding doors and being kind to anyone who is inside or outside waiting! Awesome to see such happy customers and happy staff! A rare find these days! Breakfast was AWESOME and the coffee was perfect!

Ive eaten here 3 times now and whenever Ive ordered a steak it is cooked perfectly by their chef. The restaurant is a hidden surprise.

We came for breakfast as a family of 5, 1 elderly, 2 adults, 2 kids (8 and 12). The first glance of the restaurant (also a butcher) kind of set us back on the outside and inside. I was very unsure but the reviews were good so we tried it. Surprised again when we went in and couldnt all sit at the same table (max 4) because of Covid. Ugh! Prices are very reasonable, fast and super friendly service, nice people and the food was AMAZING! I ordered extra bacon because normal restaurants give 2, maybe 3 small pieces - my plate had a small mountain. It was by far the best breakfast we had on the entire trip, possibly ever in a restaurant. I was so disappointed that we were at the end of the trip and couldnt go back a second time. It is some excellent quality meat too!

This is a friendly place, popular with local families. It has been operated by a brother and sister team for over 35 years. The service was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent: delicious, affordable and great quality. We ate supper there on Friday, August 6, 2021. All COVID health a safety protocols were observed. We enjoyed the pan-seared haddock with a zesty lemon sauce accompanied by fresh, local seasonal vegetables for my husband and a great mixed greens salad for me with goat cheese, dried cranberries, candied pecans topped by a very tasty honey mustard vinegrette dressing. For dessert, we had homemade butter tarts and the pastry was perfect. We enjoyed it so much, we were back Sunday morning for a very nice breakfast with real homefries and crunchy crisp side bacon and French toast with real maple syrup. We will happily eat there again next time we are in Bracebridge and have already recommended this hidden gem to friends.

What a wonderful catering crew they are! Clarence, Shannon and the entire team at Fresh Kutz was absolutely fabulous to work with for our wedding day this past July. Their service was so organized, and seamless. Our ceremony ended, and it felt like the food just appeared, it was so nice in terms of timing for everyone. We received so many compliments from guests on how delicious, and hot the food was on the wedding day. All vegans/vegetarians really loved their plates as well. Shannon was amazing to correspond with prior to the day, always updating, and very responsive. We will be sure to visit for a dinner sometime soon!

Great place. Been going here for almost 20 years. Best when Clarence is working. Super sized meals as lots of outdoor workers make this their lunch stop. Bring a big appetite! Prices are reasonable, and staff great. Dont miss out on the Halibut & chips.

This is a local establishment thats almost always full and often packed when it comes to weekend breakfasts. The owner, Clarence is a character, who often greets regulars with a good natured poke and welcoming barb. Ive been eating my regular Saturday morning B-fasts for over twenty years here, and have to say that its far and above anything else youll find around town. The portions are plentiful, and the bacon is thickn-meaty and a cut above in quality. The staff are good-natured and friendly, and make you feel welcome. Its a diner cum-restaurant that harkens back to a simpler time, with good comfort-food, and a friendly atmosphere to match.

We stumbled onto the place looking for a quick sandwich to go. The sandwiches (club, egg salad, grilled chicken wrap, and grilled cheese) were excellent. And the tomato roaster red pepper soup was a hit with the whole family. What a gem!

Absolutely loved Fresh Kits Market & Grill. This place was suggested to us by a clerk and Mark s Warehouse. They had no issues accommodating our dietary restrictions and it warmed our hearts when they all greeted us goodbye. Has the exact feel of a small town diner and they have excellent coffee.

We hired Fresh Kutz to cater our wedding at Brooklands Farm and the food was incredible! Our guests raved about absolutely all of the food: the hors doeuvres, the buffet spread, the amazing desserts (especially the butter tarts) and the pulled pork late night snack. We even picked up some catering from them for the rehearsal and they provided totally different dishes which were equally all delicious. We cant thank Clarence and his team enough and would definitely choose them again for future catering needs.

The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The eggs Benedict are excellent.

A staple and a bit of a hidden gem. My family has been coming here for over 15 years religiously. So much so that we dont even need to place our orders anymore (but we are still asked in case the apocalypse is upon us and we change our minds). The meat is stored in the front, so you know its fresh. Love the steak, pemeal bacon, and schnitzel.

This is just the kind of lunch place that I seek out. And in ways I want to be rating it with 5 stars for that reason. The staff are welcoming and engaging. But the room felt frigid, the noon rush left us waiting... and the fries were cold when they got to our table. These are all fixable. So I hope to return. Maybe my second review will be 5 stars.

Pretty pricey for simple breakfast options. Very limited seating. So, just as everyone else that is new to the area, we rely on god reviews on google before picking a spot to eat. Seeing that they has decent reviews we went not realizing it is a smaller joint. So be prepared to wait for a seat. Menu was nice and simple. Staff was quick and organized but the engery of the place was a but tired. Waitreses just hustling to get the job done. Time is money was the feeling we got. So, service was prompt but not necessarily warm. Forks are flimsy. Kept having to bend it back to its original shape after every cut/bite of my eggs Benedict. Potatoes were pretty dry and bland.

Sea food soup seemed to be ok when I was eating it. Within a half hour I had a severe gut ache . Then vomiting . Shortly after diarrhea followed. Not much fun.
