Bacon to hard and too cold

The best eggs benny I ve ever had! I d love to know the secret to their benny sauce. I got medium and they were on point.

BEST Halibut fish & chips in Muskoka. They make their own slaw and dressing and there tartar sauce is also made inhouse. Fish is made fresh to order and they have fresh cut fries. Homestyle cooking at its best.

Wow ! This place is officially our GO TO brunch spot in Bracebridge. My husband and I don t get many dates and coming here made our entire morning blissful ! Hubby ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet- it blew his mind. The portion size was HUGE and the flavour in the food was perfection. The chefs use of seasonings on the home fries and the fantastic favour in the PERFECT hollandaise sauce made this fantastic ! Was such a great portion size that we brought some home for our late night snack ! I had the Original Eggs Benny! Best eggs Benny. Have had in a love time. I literally cannot rave more about the taste of the hollandaise- perfect acidity ! I wish we brought a tub of that home ! Great portion size and food was fast and hot ! We will 10000% be back and will always recommend this place to friends and family Thank you for the great meal! Lyndsie and Jason

Steak and eggs. Can t go wrong. The hotel didn t provide a continental breakfast as advertised but this diner was practically across the street. Seemed like a very popular spot, especially with us seniors.

Usually this place has been great in the past, my husband and I have been a customer here for years but recently past two visits that we have had we have been more than displeased with the quality of cleanliness. Both times they had very few customers and the tables about 90% if not more were not cleaned off at all. Service was fast just cleanliness was really bad

It was a great experience overall, but the lack of steam-powered technologies was felt heavily. Needed more cogs and wheels. Exposed pipes would ve gone down easy.

This is a super busy restaurant...do not be in a hurry. We waited way too long for our breakfast this morning but it was delicious. Apparently they were down one person in the kitchen and that was the reason for the delay. Anyhow, just chill out and enjoy the wait and the food.

All the elements of the Homestyle Breakfast were delicious, perfectly cooked. The Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict (with peameal) was the best, richest weve ever had! Excellent!

A go to breakfast and lunch spot for anyone! Great service! Great food! Great experience! My go to breakfast pick is the meat lovers skillet. Great tasting hollandaise sauce that is smothered over everything which the serving itself is good overall. You will be full after eating this with potentially some leftover to take home. It s always so good though so I never have any leftover to take home. Had the chicken clubhouse sandwich before too which is darn good too with a hearty chicken breast. Really like the fries at Homestyle Cafe as well. Tula is a gem and always so pleasant and friendly which can also be said for all the staff. Will continue to be a go to spot for breakfast and lunch for the foreseeable future.

Wow what a great restaurant!. The food was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were very reasonable and the portuons so satisfying! The atmosphere reminds me of old days restaurants. Will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: Great Veggie Skillet and also they have a veggie burger combo too! Parking: Suoer easy to park lots of apits in this plaza with Cdn Tire and Dollarama next door.

We LOVE this place. The food is always fresh. The staff are always friendly and actually enjoy their jobs. The prices really can t be beat. I almost don t want to review it for risk of making it too popular Parking: There is never a shortage of parking unless you want to park right beside the front door. If you don t mind walking 30 seconds then you ll never have a hard time finding a spot.

We love this place!! Its has a diner atmosphere, basic tables and chairs, open concept kitchen, very simple.. and the food is delicious! We love to go for breakfast, lots of different options on the menu: Eggs Benedict to French Toast to a Meat Lovers Breakfast to Westerns. We also love their lunches: Club Sandwiches, Burgers, Soups.. all delicious! Pretty average prices. And the staff is always friendly. They all work very hard, the place is always busy. Highly recommend.

Feel local vibe. Definitely a restaurant for locals. Food is good and with reasonable price. You can order on counter and they deliver to your table. They can also take order from the table. They will skip the tips on the machine if you order from the counter, which avoid you from needing to touch it. Will come back tmr. Update: came back and ordered more. Added more photos.

Greatest place to stop by if youre looking for a Homestyle Breakfast, with none of the missing nostalgia of home. Servers are nothing less of modest and honest, just the way I would want to be treated at home. Lastly, the atmosphere is great, nothing too fancy like a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but all the comforts of home.

Omelet was crunchy and gray in colour....WHAT???Homefries were frozen deep fried...not great. Must say the toast and jam was the only good thing about my breakfast experience. Would never visit again

This place is a hidden gem. Every single thing that we got was delicious. Their eggs florentine and waffle were out of this world! They even served the waffles with fresh strawberry puree and whipped cream. The service was equally amazing!!! Yumm breakfast with tons of options. Fresh happy looking plates with humble smiling staff. Great coffee and more at affordable prices. Portions are big. Parking: Lots of spots as its in a plaza with Dollarama / Independent and more stores at the same place. Kid-friendliness: Surely a kids friendly place with chocolate pancakes and waffles options. They have lots of high chairs too for toddlers.

The most disgusting eggs Benedict we ve ever had. Mayonnaise as their sauce for eggs. Left without eating it and server didn t even offer to take off bill, discount or even ask why I didn t eat it. $40 down the drain for 2 eggs and 1 coffee.

Great Service. Went for Sat morning breakfast. Place was busy but we were seated quickly and the staff was attentive to our drinks and orders. Food came out within 15 mins. Ordered two eggs with sausage and rye toast. Sausages were good and so was the rye toast. Eggs were on the smaller side. Not the biggest fan of home fries but they were seasoned and served with the breakfast.Overall good value for your money.

I got there shortly after they opened this morning and I was pleased to see they had an early bird special for breakfast. It was a substantial meal at a fanominal price. I find their hashbrowns to be one of the best that Ive had.

My children love the kids menu here. Ample portions and quality (they love the chocolate chip pancakes!) My breakfast we served as ordered, and was nice and hot. Other than some of the chairs needing to be recovered (well overdue I might add) the restaurant is clean and taken care of.

If you are tired of eating fast food, this is a good option to eat a real home food

Homestyle was everything Nicks wasn t. They greeted us and sat us in a timely manner at a table that was available. The service was good and very polite and personable, however they were very overwhelmed by the amount of people but it didn t really affect the quality of service. Food came out hot and was delicious with generous portions. I will certainly be back to Homestyle in the future! Vegetarian options: Fruit, oatmeal, toast, home fries.

The food was not good at all.. don t go here ! The waffles was so dry, coz it s ready made, they just pop it in the toaster and it was burnt! It says in the menu waffles with fresh strawberry but there was non! Whip cream was so soggy!!! Never again will we go here!!! $40 down the drain!!!

Best breakfast in town! You always get a healthy portion of food for a great price. Ive been coming here for years and Ive never had my good come out bad once. I usually get the homestlye breakfast which never fails. Everything is always well seasoned, hot and very fast. The service is quick and friendly but not overbearing. What the place packs in decor/atmosphere they make up for with the charming paintings on the walls, good location and consistent food.

This is our go to for breakfast and lunch. The staff go out of their way to make sure youre looked after. Theyre up early so a meal doesnt cut into your day.

Great place to drop in to have authentic English breakfast We ordered the veg omelette, veg skillet and pancakes which were to heavy and yummy!!! The taste is really great, would definitely keep going back to this place for breakfasts when in Muskoka They also have a kids menu with ample choices for satisfying the cravings of the little ones! The service tends to be a bit slow during rush hour though.

It was literally superb, the ambience, vibe and their food aswell is good, I went with my friends to try something random food, after reaching their, staff over there is really coll, I am a vegetarian who doesnt eat egg aswell, the staff made me a superb Greek salad, as I wanted. Beside this I want specifically describe the coffee has a most traditional taste, which will remind me that, it might have directly come from farm to the Cafe, and then to my cup. I liked coffee, but at homestyle cafe, I literally loved the coffee.

Havent been here since before covid, and will probably not go back. Way way over priced $38.00 for 2 egg breakfast and a waffle with 2 coffees) waffle was cold , no utensils on the table, table was sticky. Service was questionable... never asked if everything was ok. I work locally and send lots of people there, but not anymore. Very sorry to have had this experience.

This diner serves a great-tasting breakfast with many reasonably priced options. Our server Tula was amiable and attentive. We were surprised they also had good gluten-free bread that tastes like bread, as opposed to the usual cardboard, and doesnt crumble down.

If I could give no stars I would. I came here with my son and asked for a menu, very politely and was yelled at if I was in a hurry we need to get out because they are short staffed. I no longer felt comfortable after that interaction so we did leave. Now we came back a few weeks later and have watched all the regulars get their orders taken and served. We are still waiting, it s been over 45 minutes and the table next to us sat down and orders were taken in less than 5 minutes.

Our first experience here was just okay. Our waitress never came around to check on us or refill our coffees and the food took about 40-45mins to come out. However, the food is really good. And they gave our kids their meals before ours so they werent starving. We will probably go back but maybe not on a weekend

Dont bring the kids. Brought my wife and daughter for breakfast here with high hopes based on ratings to maybe make it a weekly habit, and the sausage was dry and seemed off, the blueberry jelly (packets on the table) had a musty smell when opened. My daughter, wife, and I have been sick since having visited.

Never go here if you real food that you can eat. I asked for well done everything, I specifically asked for everything to be burnt, not even cooked. Potatoes were still raw, eggs barely cooked, and breakfast for 2 was almost 50 bucks, I understand tourist town but holy snickers. Service was slow and couldnt keep up, 2 servers for almost 40 tables and packed... what a joke
