The server, Coral, is amazing. Best service ever!!!

My partner and I went out for a date night, and we were greeted very politely. Everything was fine until I received my food. I thought it wouldn t be a big deal to let the waitress know that my chicken was pink. This wasn t the first time I had encountered pink chicken at this restaurant; during the past summer, it happened five times over different visits. The last time I was reassured that it was safe to eat, so I did eat it and ended up getting salmonella. Assuming it wouldnt be an issue this time, I ordered the chicken again. When I informed the waitress that my chicken was pink, she took it back to recook it. I then went to the washroom, leaving my partner at the table. When I returned, I was surprised to find my chicken wrapped in a paper bag. I noticed that my dinner plate was cleared, even though I hadn t finished my meal. To my shock, we were then asked to leave because I had complained about the pink chicken. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I was just trying to enjoy a lovely night out with my partner and had even planned to order dessert, but that didn t happen. I truly don t understand why we were kicked out; I didn t make a huge deal about the chicken.

Unfortunately a Customer cannot use the Swiss Chalet App to get a 2 can Dine for $20.99 Promo. Canada Post on Strike for 25 days so we didnt have any Coupons. We were told that the App could only be used for Take Out and not Dine In. Asked to Speak to Manager but apparently he wasnt their. Dont think I will return.

The Swiss Chalet Restaurant has a cozy vibe and great service, especially from Akhil Kumar, who was very friendly. adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

Picking up family fries and a large chalet dipping sauce. Fries were undercooked. Order got lost so they had to resubmit. I wish this could have been ordered using the app but no option re the family fries.

Was a bit nervous walking in to a busy dining room but Dhriti was an absolute sweetheart and quelled our nerves and before we knew it our food was given to us immediately! Definitely will come back again!!

Dhriti is an excellant server. the chicken leg was dried out, fork could not penetrate the meat. the fries were marked with black spots inside them. We did not complain to our server, she has no faults. if that is how your kitchen sends out food , it explains why your restaurant was empty. We do not complain , we will not be going back to swiss chalet. treat your repeat loyal custumers better, we are not stupid.

We went to Harveys and tried their new triple pickle poutine it was really good. They serve good quality food. Restaurant is clean also as well . And there is lots of parking space. Staff is really good and polite. Rahul served the food and he is doing fantastic job. Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger and a triple pickle poutine for vegetarians. I will recommend to try it.

Honestly love Swiss chalet but it took 20 minutes to get my festive special and I was very disappointed. I had a two bite chicken and the fries are not good like they used to be. Using Harvey s fries which I hate. Disgusting

Good food and arrived quickly, our server AKHIL was very helpful and quick with what we needed.

Waited 20 minutes in lobby without an eta given to us, the people infront did get an eta to sit down and when it was their time to go the man was very rude saying the table for 2 lets go while the old women is struggling to stand up, finally after being seated we wait 5 to 10 minutes before drink orders are taken, 2 of 3 pf us ordered the beef on a bun which comes with au jus, not once was it mentioned they are out until the food showed up and we asked about it, had to ask twice to then be told its not available, we then asked for a gravy instead , and that was also ignored. And not once have i been asked if i want a refill. They all need to do alot better.

We loved this place because it wasn t just the typical dishes you usually find but the hospitality given by Akhil was considerable

The service was very poor. Plastic condiment containers were put on my plate with my food. We were neither given nor offers finger bowls, even though we had ribs. No one followed up after our food was dropped off. My meal came with a roll, which was just added to my plate with the plastic containers of butter, no bread plate.

Horrible customer service. Multiple times I get home and open my food only to find that half of the meal is missing. I have to drive back and then they act annoyed that i want them to remake the meal as the part I received is now cold. Tonight I drove back to have them ignore me at the window for 5 minutes before I had to bang on the window to get them to acknowledge me. The manager finally came over and acted like she was doing me a favor by correcting the issue rather than apologizing for it happening to begin with

Today at 150 Highway 118 west Bracebridge Swiss Chalet location the service was lovely, the food was nice, and the staff was superb. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this location to any that are interested. Dietary restrictions: There are vegetarian options for certain. We had the roast beef and it met our expectations. Parking: A very large lot that can accommodate trailers, large vehicles, pull through and there is also a bit of shade available.

Sorry but the food did not even rate one star. First of all both things we ordered they were out of and when i ordered a chicken pot pie it was chicken soup with a top on it. neither one edible. On the bright side, we were not charged for it.

Friendly, watch for the two can dine promotions as they sometimes have limits, and always ask for any CAA discounts or promotions, usually its a free appetizer. White chicken has more meat. But costs slightly more. The soup is great too.

Great service from a lovely young lady , Jocelyn. Being typically cheap or perhaps more correctly frugal seniors , we had 2 for 1 quarter chicken dinners. Jocelyn pointed out that the Tuesday special was even cheaper and advised us to go that way. She didnt have to do this , so it was much appreciated She was pleasant and attentive throughout our dining experience. The chicken as always was delightful RD

Been coming here for decades since the old owners. New international owners & its decent at best. My gripe comes that the servers have so much cologne on that its nauseating. Many people are sensitive to odours, good or bad. The line cooks dont wear beard masks & there hair is culturally very long. Im a Chef & that is just wrong. Where is the health inspector? Fries were skimpy compared to usual, soup was watered down & bland. Overall, wont be a go to for us any longer. Will most likely wait until passing through Huntsville or other cities.

I had the most pleasurable experience with my outstanding server Megan. She exceeded my expectations to the fullest and brought me my chicken in a timely and polite manner. She didnt even forget the gravy! KFC always forgets the gravy... The bun was fluffy and the chicken was juicy. The potato was savory and the finger bowl water was just how I like it. We went to this place for my girlfriends dads birthday, everybody at the table had great food aside from one person... That person just so happened to be the birthday guy himself. The waiter was great though, I cant say anything even remotely negative about him. He did all that he could. Swiss chalet should know that when you make a chicken sandwich, you dont include the bones of the chicken youre putting into it. A little unimpressed considering it was a special occasion with a reservation.

The star of the meal, of course, was the rotisserie chicken. It was perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The skin was crispy and seasoned to perfection. And then there s the famous Chalet Sauce its truly one of a kind and complemented the chicken wonderfully. Service was impeccable. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived promptly, and everything was served hot and fresh. Overall, Swiss Chalet exceeded my expectations in every way. Muskoka is beautiful, never been through there. Had to stop for dinner as we still had 3 hrs to drive a 7 hr drive back. The food here was scrumptious, though the server changed my 8 oz wine to a 5 oz wine the second time. Why?! Im 55, was that an issue, lol.

Unfortunately the chicken was not as good as usual. Disappointed. Washroom was dirty. I did mention to the staff. And the table was dirty. The whole experience was not good. A pefect family dinner. We were 4 adults for Friday dinner and it was perfect. Sure the decor is a little dated and its nothing fancy but SC delivers the fundamentals: great, friendly service, tasty food, good portions and great value. Awesome.

We have had a wonderful time at this Swiss Chalet location. We were visiting the Muskoka Lakes, and this restaurant was close to dine in. They are offering some deals for this Christmas holidays. We ordered their favorite chicken meal and chicken poutine, as usual, they were awesome. The staffs were nice and friendly. Swiss Chalet has the best price for the quality foods. I would definitely recommend this place for your dining or take out. Parking: Lots of free parking available in the parking lot. Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu, they also provide kids chairs.

Just an overall bad experience here. Dry old chicken that was incredibly tiny. I felt like I was eating a baby bird. The ribs were just rubbery and nasty. Obviously boiled. The rib/chicken combo was $29!! So, $40 with taxes, a soda and a tip for the waiter. She was great. I was far from full when I left. Anyhooo, thats twice in 2 different locations. I thought maybe some benefit of doubt, but nope. Both places were terrible. Thats enough for me, thanks. Answer to response: Yes, I see you are sorry. You say that A LOT! How about fixing whats broken so you dont have to apologize so often.

So.....let me start by saying I spent 4 years working at Harveys and swizz on avenue road in Toronto...... I live in bracebridge now and have been for many years..... While working there I always made sure the chicken was never under cooked or over cooked and bones were removed......if the chicken was under or over I would never serve it.....and of course checked the bill to make sure everything was in the bag that was ordered ......nothing worse then getting home and having items missing , specially if children are involved. Since the swizz has been here in town I have gone 4x...... Each time I have gone there......the chicken was burnt on the outside and still pink in the middle......which means youre oven temp is to high ok...you need to fix that......and.......they have forgotten the poutine order......all four times.... Its on the bill ok and on the screen on top. they no longer serve the swizz sandwich on a bun now and its just reg white bread......which is rather disappointing ......... The bread I just got....just to give you a idea here.....I placed my drink by my sink ok , it was so stale and hard , That I was littery able to knock my drink over with the peice of bread by hitting it.......idk how anyone making that sandwich could not feel the bread was so hard and how they let that go out? If I ever let food out in the condition in which I got tonight?.......I would be fired on the spot! , no questions asked. Rather then going to swizz , I would highly recommend you go to the independent , get there chicken for 10.99 then buy the powdered swizz sauce and do it yourself. The quality is much better and better priced.

Service was mediocre and took a bit longer then expected to place our order and when we did the service was okay When it came to the food the fries were barely cooked, soggy and cold sitting in a cardboard tray covered in grease. The chicken was cooked but cold. Luckily the place where we were staying has a stove so we were able to salvage dinner. We paid just over $42 and considering how under cooked and cold the dinner was I feel we did not get value for our money

Worst Swiss Chalet for drive through service! When you order a rib and chicken meal, you expect to have chicken as part of the meal. This restaurant forgot the chicken. Another time, the condiments were not provided such as the sour cream for the baked potato. Today, I ordered the Festival chicken meal. I get home and discovered that the cranberries and Lindors were not present as part of the meal even though that is what I paid for. And I do not wish to drive across town to pick them up. I am not feeling too festive after this meal and lack of preparation.

What know what sounds awesome after working a long day? A nice hot bowl of chicken noodle soup. After spending 20mins in the drive thru waiting, reaching the front and paying, only to have them come back and tell me it s sold out. It s 6pm . Dinner service literally just started , give me a break. It s alright tho , Tim Hortons makes a pretty great chicken noodle.

One of the few fast food chains I like. Chicken always good fresh cut fries and that special sauce. Price is very reasonable good Ceasar drink too.

If I could give less than 1 star I definitely would. Tried to order chicken and rib family meal and they were out of chicken at 7 pm on a Tuesday. Ordered something different including ribs from Swiss Chalet and Harvey s. Got the burgers but had to go back through the drive thru to get the ribs they forgot. When I got home the ribs had the wrong sauce. Apparently their delivery service was too busy to bring the corrected order so I had to go back myself to get it. Burgers were Luke warm at best. Fries had obviously been under the heat lamp for a while. Never once was I offered anything extra or a discount for my order. New staff was rude, short and i knowledgeable about the menu. For an almost $70 order I would expect much more

Good service ok food chicken undercooked for me.

15 mins before seated in half empty restaurant. 1o mins before anyone took an order and another 15 to get bill. Not to mention kitchen staff eating fries off orders wtg to go out to tables with bare hands then with same hand s putting pickles on plates

If I could give less than one star I would. My family and I (including 3 young children) walked into this Swiss Chalet and asked for a table of 9. Before even answering the hostess laughed and then turned to her coworker repeated what we said and laughed again. She turned back to us with a big smile on her face and said we can t do that. When we asked if we could split into 2 tables she laughed again. Then she said we might be able to accommodate you but it will be 20 mins. Not wanting to be disrespected for a third time, I gave her a piece of mind and we walked out. This hostess needs a serious retraining in customer service and respect! My family and I go to Swiss Chalet a lot but this hostess has now ruined the restaurant for our family.
