A fixture of downtown Bracebridge since 1985. Featuring cozy indoor dining next to the fireplace or seasonal outdoor dining on our wrap around patio. Known for our luscious Prime Rib 7 days a week, and our 35 year old French Onion Soup recipe. Cocktails, local craft beer, kids menus and dessert round out our choices.
Great restaurant & service! Owen was awesome. Friendly, polite & professional. Wife had the French onion soup & honey garlic wings & I had the turkey naan-wich, which was delish! Our dinner was great! Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Bracebridge! Thank you Owen! 💯
We went to the Old Station on a beautiful weekend in October. We sat on the patio (party of 2). I had the cauliflower wings with a salad and my companion had the fish and chips. The food came out quickly, was delicious and fresh and a good sized portion. Our server was very pleasant and attentive and looked after us very well. I would highly recommend and go back in a second.
The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and we enjoyed spending time there. We were three couples dining together, but unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with our meals as the burgers were overly dry. On a positive note, the soup was outstanding.
The restaurant vibe, and the serving team were amazing, Devin was a very nice host and I really appreciate his service. We arrived 5:30 pm waited 40 minutes and the store was supposed to close 8 pm but most of the popular items were sold out. We ordered burger and smoked corn beef with fries and soup as sides. The burger was well marinated and well dressed but dry dry! Almost burned! We had 4 burgers in total and all were the same. The corn beef was also ok but not amazing. The WC also was not clean and a %20 gratitude for a group of 6 was also unreasonable!
This place was a gem in the heart of Bracebridge especially with the beautiful fall colours this Thanksgiving weekend! Service was excellent for it being a very busy day - the hostess was efficient and polite while handling the lineup of patrons and Brad, our server was excellent! The food is pricey but they are big portions. My sister and I split a couple of the appetizers and they generous in size and also very delicious (the feta/tomato dip and the sweet potato fries). Overall, I enjoyed coming here (and visiting Bracebridge in general) and would recommend to others.
The service staff were very friendly and flexible. The food was served quickly, and the steak was cooked to be very tender.
Lovely restaurant, visited with my family on a Saturday afternoon, and we all enjoyed our time here. The food was tasty, and the service was good. There's free parking at the library, which is just a minute walk away. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Place is decent, stopped by here for Lunch. It gives that very nice old feel of a warm, cozy cabin restaurant. Servers are nice, but place is packed! The food was good but not like I want to have it again. We ordered The Old Station Burger, Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and the Chicken Tenders. For sides, we had the Soup of the Day which was a creamy tomato soup, French fries, and a French Onion Soup. French fries tasted a bit overcooked and the French Onion Soup had too MUCH cheese. Would go here if you like a cabin feel restaurant.
We went here for dinner while in Bracebridge. What a great dining experience. The staff is amazing, the food is so good. It is a great place to grab a warm meal. Big portions as well.
Extremely greasy fish and chips. Salad not the greatest. Disappointed
not family friendly for a lunch spot, basically a hooters. Go with the guys i guess
Simply delicious
Fast and friendly. Nice dining area. Candle lit, Waiters/waitresses hustle. Food was quick. Highly recommend. Beef dip is delicious. Thank you Owen! Great service.
Food no compaints - was good. Service less than acceptable when we needed the attention of a waiter/waitress and had to get up & go to the cash where 3 of them were just chatting and certainly not keeping an eye on us anyway. Disappointing. Been there before but wont be back
Beet and bacon salad and steak - delicious! server Nicole was great too!
It was OK. Sadly they ran out of the Berf Dip. Maybe next time.
One of my favorite restaurants ever. Food is always great, as is the service. Today > took my son for his birthday and our server, Devin, was exceptional. I am also a carwer server and i can say that tlhe was one of the best servers Ive ever had. It was fantastic. HIGHLY recommend Devin and Old Station.
the place is OK but not too inviting. our first visit and it wasn t good enough to bring us back ! we ordered fish & chips and Chicken Souvlaki none were good!!! we also ordered Sweet potatoes that was one of the best . we paid $100 for it though.
Service was great , friendly staff.. We had burgers and they had no flavor and kind of dry. 2 burgers and 2 pops was 60 bucks.. Parking: Parking is down the street, free for 3 hours
Another restaurant where everything on the menu sounds really delicious. Two of us ate here and were given a very nice welcome and delicious food. Very hearty and very tasty. Great cozy atmosphere in the store. Very happy again.
We stopped for a bite to eat and to warm up. The mushroom soup and bruschetta hit the spot! The service is friendly and frequent. Seats near the bar gave us a street view. It is worth looking around for the nearest parking lot, parking on the street was tricky.
The best fish and chips in Ontario. Service in incredible. Great atmosphere showing the history of gravenhust in photos on the walls. Food : 5/5
Wonderful warm atmosphere. Excellent soup and stellar French Dip w Havarti cheese Pleasant and prompt waitress. Could not improve. Food
Very good food and very friendly staff!
Wonderful place to eat, charming town and service was terrific
Great patio, looks great inside aswell. I had the Reuben Sandwich, very good. Gf had the Turkey wrap not so great. Great beers on tap! Will return. Thank you
Great workers
unfriendly unprofessional hostess in very unprofessional clothes looking like a gym wear
I loved the lunch I had here with my family. We were very well attended to, good food and finally espresso.
We sat beside an old tree stub. Interesting, good vibe and nice fish and chips. A good stop at Bracebridge!
The Lady who was handling the seating arrangements was very rude, definitely lacked politeness and customer service skills. We went there considering 1.2 K good reviews but was disappointed. The food is average!! All in all overrated!!
I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was horrible. Right from the beginning, the person who assisted with seating was extremely rude and unwelcoming. It set a negative tone for the entire visit. As for the food, it was just average nothing particularly memorable or worth the price. While the ambiance was nice, the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor customer service and mediocre meal. Definitely worst experience I would suggest trying a better place and please don t fall for google reviews.
Carrot and ginger soup is good! Turkey sandwich with thick cheese!
We were in Bracebridge briefly and had a great lunch at the Old Station. The food and vibe was perfect. My wife forgot her purse but luckily the manger recovered it quickly for us and was of great assistance. Thanks again Owen!
Food and service is always great. I have never left hungry!
The service was very quick and our meals came out very fast. The server was nice and apologized when a small mistake was made. The whipped feta app was unbelievably good. I would go back again just to get this. My husband really liked the taste of his corn beef sandwich however the bread was soggy and the garden salad upset his stomach. I did not like the portobello burger and the fries were good but standard. My kid really liked the caesar salad and my other kids chicken sandwich was a big sandwich which was a nice surprise since he ordered off the kid menu. Everything was extremely over priced and to be honest the only dish I felt was worth the high price was the whipped feta dip. The dining room is jammed packed with tables in a small space so its hard to move around. A man elbowed my husband and kept jabbing me with his chair because there is not enough space between tables.
Ive always enjoyed the Old Station. As a person who lives locally, I dont go as often in summer,as the wait time can be long (worth it). I cant recall ever having a mediocre dish there. Always good! I like the fish and chips and beef dip. With a pint,of course!
They served us rather quickly when we arrived. Maybe it was the time of day just before the supper rush.
Came here for drinks only on a weekend away. Food was delicious, but only the French onion soup was ordered. Bartender, Devon (hopefully spelt that right) was absolutely amazing. He made our experience personable, absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, cottage-like. I would highly recommend visiting! *ask for Devon!!
Wish I had taken pics before we devoured our food. Nicely plated. Taste is amazing! So fresh. Had a Caesar salad to start. Mains: Reuben with homemade Russian sauce and the homemade cream of mushroom soup, and the Sweet Onion Swiss Burger with French Onion soup. Devin is awesome - good timing and great sense of humour! Will be back!
Great spot for dinner
Food and service was amazing. Love the vibe!
The Beef dip was delicious, and the fries were sooo good!!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner today with friends. Food and service was awesome. Many thanks to our server Brad for making it extra special!
Great place to eat and rest up after a SUP race
Beware the jerk chicken, kinda disgusting but thats just me.
Food was a little pricey but what isnt these days. We had a quiet dinner on the patio for our anniversary and had some fun. Food
The food was good but on the pricey side. The service was fabulous.
Fantastic Place, always a great time
Cute place, sat on the patio. Good variety of food. Our waiter was lovely
Food was great, service was great! Will come back when in town.
Stopped in for a meal during a day of travel. We ate on the patio and had a fantastic meal. Our waitress was exemplary. We highly recommend this restaurant. Be aware that it is not an inexpensive restaurant.
Incredible you can have a steak upgrade to the pasta dishes!
Had the sweet onion Swiss burger and my wife had the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were well made and tasted great. Fast and friendly service.
The staff was very helpful and caring. They helped us order a taxi, and also changed my dish because I wasnt satisfied and they didnt make any problems. We ordered fish & chips and the food was a little greasy in my opinion, but overall delicious! The place is beautiful, but the tables were a bit sticky. I would recommend cleaning the tables better. In conclusion, our experience was good
Yummy and delicious food. Wonderful services and portions. So wonderful we came twice in a two day span. Will come back when we are back in Bracebridge Muskoka. Wonderful drinks.
Great place to have a nice dinner while youre in the area. Beats major franchise restaurants hands down. Amazing customer service, (shame I didnt get the servers name) but high levels of attention. I destroyed the prime rib and everything it came with, wife throughly enjoyed the fettuccine, and the LO loved her grilled cheese. Will visit again!
Great food! Everything we tried was truly fantastic.
This was an accidental find that was brilliant. Great food, excellent service and a cute atomosphere in Bracebridge.
This place is a must try! Great food and great service.
Service was friendly, a bit slow, but we were there an hour before closing and it was super busy... We know why... The food was delicious :)
A nice pub in Bracebridge with excellent staff & vibrant atmosphere.
Their servers are amazing and always happy! Burger and sweet potato fries tasted great and I would come here again if I ever have the chance
Great food and atmosphere! Mixed of a rustic and modern vibe. Definitely recommend
Visited Friday for dinner, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our server was very attentive and the food was delivered extremely fast. I had the 12oz prime rib, I asked for it cooked rare and they did not disappoint (this in itself is rare for restaurants). The prime rib was arguably the best I ve ever had at any restaurant. The presentation was fantastic and the sides were hot and delicious. Definitely will return!
We ordered the mac and cheese for my kids- it was very yummy adult mac and cheese, but my kids didn t like it- was made with what I m thinking is a smoked Gouda.. not too many kids like that. The other people at the table ate it so that was fine. Ordered fingers for the kids and they enjoyed them. My husband and I both ordered the chicken souvlaki ($38) and when it arrived I was nothing but disappointed. It was a plate that consisted of a cup of plain white rice, a salad (a few cherry tomatoes, a few cucumbers and lots of red onions with a side of feta cheese - no dressing), a side of pita bread, that was plain and uncooked with a side of chicken. The only good this about this $38 plate was the chicken, and there wasn t enough to be full. I told the server and he offered to make something else, but I declined because 2 bad orders I wasn t willing to try something else. I was over it at that point. The server was in a rush to hear my complaints, so I didn t think he fully heard them. When he returned later, I explained I m usually not one to complain, but needed to tell him why and he dismissed me saying you ve already said all this . Very disappointed in the service and food. Will not return.
We always enjoy eating here. But what raised our experience today from excellent to amazing was our wonderful server, Maggie. She anticipated needs before we could even think of them and made sure she always kept a sharp eye on our table. Thank you, Maggie, for such a perfect evening.
Great place for lunch Great service and food is always good
Excellent food & beer
Always a lovely dining experience! The food is consistently delicious- our favourites include the Swiss burger, beef burger, fish and chips, mustard chicken( can t remember the exact name) and ceasar salad to name a few! Love the cozy atmosphere both inside and out! Our server, Devin was excellent- attentive, and fun!!! Will continue to return !!!
Really nice place with a sizable patio section and large portions. Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs at the main entrance. I didnt see if there is another way in. I did see a man with a walker come out and step down the steps so maybe not.
Its one of the best places I ever ate in.
Awesome food
Family friendly community ambience, charming service, a good variety of food for a variety of different tastes.
Devin our server was absolutely great! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Will be back!!
Great food, wonderful staff! Finished off with an amazing mint! Thanks for being so much fun, great night out. Shelley, Alex, John and Sarah Food : 5/5
The Portobello burger was a totally poor choice as it just tasted of vinegar. Not great value, sorry.
I had dinner here with my family. I loved the food, atmosphere, and excellent service.
Amazing food and great staff! A must visit if youre in Bracebridge. Parking: Library parking lot right behind it Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps to get in and out
The food here is awesome, and the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful.
Good experience nice terrace
Food is good but limited menu. Parking: Parking is only street parking. Food : 4/5 |
Fantastic! A beautiful, quaint restaurant in downtown Bracebridge. Service is provided by friendly staff. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend the Chicken Ceasar Salad. You will not be disappointed! I cant wait to return to try other items on the menu!
The portions are very generous and the service is excellent! We enjoyed our lunch earlier today and will certainly be back.
We have had lunch here several times and have never been disappointed. Excellent service and tasty food. Good selection of on tap beer.
Great food! Great service!
Absolutely stellar experience once again at The Old Station restaurant in Bracebridge! Owen, our server, was outstanding attentive and made great recommendations. The spinach dip is a MUST ORDER and deep-fried pickles were a great starter as well. Their local beer suggestion was spot-on, complementing our meal perfectly. And lets talk about their Caesars exquisitely spiced! An absolute gem of a restaurant for those craving top-notch service and wanting to support a local business. Devin even remembered us from our last visit. Such a great team. Hope to be back soon.
Loved the service and the food! Avery was really nice and friendly! Her service was excellent! I ordered the beef dip, it was really good! The side salad was really really fresh! I love this place! Highly recommend!
The first bite!!! OMG!!! I don t know if it s the fresh ingredients or the chef. The first bite was amazing. Every other bite was as amazing. The burger was amazing!! Honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had. Sweet heat burger. Devin took care of us. Loved his energy. Definitely check out this awesome restaurant
I will be ordering this food on my death bed. We stopped at Old Station on our way home from a weekend on the boat and it was the best decision we have ever made. We ordered the bacon spinach dip (drool-worthy), the chimichurri steak tacos with truffle frites (out of this world), and the French beef dip with a caesar salad (utterly fantastic). The blackberry margarita, although pricey, was lovely and tasty on this 31°C day. Our server was wonderful, the food was hot, the kitchen was lightning fast, the patio was perfect. Do yourself a favour and eat here.
It s rare that you find a place where the service is consistently leagues above the quality of the food. And the food here is increadible . I suggest that ownership / management try eating and finishing one of those mints they give with the bill - talk about leaving with a bad taste in your mouth. It s increadible strong. Hopefully they can swap for something pleasant.
Loved the decor, staff, and food! We ate there 3 days in a row. First night we had the prime rib! Perfectly cooked, and even the small portion was huge! Our servers and bartenders, were all very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area, sorry we drank all the Hendricks gin! Parking: Parking is behind the building or out front on the street.
Best prime rib ever!
If an award is to be won, it s the shaved turkey/smoked bacon (warmed) nan-bread sandwich (with cranberry mayo), accompanied by their stellar, kitchen-made mushroom soup! It was the perfect combo-gem on this chilly, early Spring day. Yum!
The Prime Rib dinner was stellar, the 8oz serving was perfect according to my better half. We requested rare and the cut was spot on. We also tried the smoked bacon spinach dip, it was tasty and surprisingly filling. I ordered the Beef Bourguignon, it also was quite tasty, however it had not been heated up all the way. Overall a little on the pricier side but still reasonable. Will definitely be back.
Been here once before and it steers the same direction each time. The food is good, service is friendly. We usually go as a big group so theres not much room for that, but the place has a great feel.
Excellent service great food
We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who said the food was fantastic. We may have been there on a day that was not normal, but the item we ordered, the beef dip with fries, was not as good as we expected. The beef was shredded and dry. There was not much taste unless you dipped it in the gravy. It was my first time there, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day.
Sign said open.. we were turned away almost an hour before closing. Super disappointed
First time here, food, service, atmosphere all excellent! We had fish and chips and will be back and look forward to trying some of their vegetarian options. Vegetarian options: Roasted veggie quinoa wrap, portobello burger.
I came here for lunch recently. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent, and there was a good selection of craft beers. The steak sandwich (the daily special) was one of the best Ive ever eaten. The coffee wasnt the greatest but not enough to detract from a 5-star rating.
Excellent fast late lunch service server Darin was on the ball!
Had a great dinner here! Would definitely recommend.
I had the bourbon ribs and I can say they have my mouth watering wishing I was closer. If I am back in the area I WILL be back.
Just celebrated my sister in laws birthday and everything was EXCELLENT!
A very nice experience at the Old Station. The decor and setting are rustic and historically cosy. The food is delicious: onion soup is mild and pleasant, beef sandwich is soft and juicy, chicken tender is as good as expected, and all the sauces seem homemade not store-bought (well-balanced flavors). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its definitely worth the money.
I had the special - pulled beef sandwich and fries. Top notch
You do not need to miss out on the chance to indulge in the delectably creamy mushroom soup. Its a must-try! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian-friendly dishes can be savoured by those who prefer to go meatless.
Best place to go in Bracebridge for dinner. Great menu and service. 16 oz Prime Rib. My favourite. By far. Great atmosphere!
Absolutely the most wonderful meal. Will be back.!
Favorite place to eat when visiting Bracebridge. Very generous portions of delicious food.
Portobello Burger and Mushroom Cream Soup was really good!! Highly recommended for people visiting Bracebridge!
My recent visit to The Old Station Restaurant in Bracebridge left me with mixed feelings. I must say, the Cream of Mushroom soup of the day was a standout - flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the main course, the Fish and Chips. We ordered three servings of what was supposed to be cod, but to our disappointment, the fish was far from the expected quality. The color was a concerning shade of grey instead of the anticipated flaky white. Even more disheartening was the scarcity of fish on the plate; it seemed like we were served more batter than actual fish. The overall quality of our meal was substandard, to say the least. While the Cream of Mushroom soup managed to salvage some part of our dining experience, the lackluster Fish and Chips overshadowed it. Regrettably, we probably wont be returning to The Station House, and its difficult to recommend it based on our recent encounter. Hopefully, improvements can be made to ensure a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.
We had the lamb burger with truffle fries along with French Onion Soup and Caesar salad with garlic bread. Service was excellent. Beautiful old and well cared for heritage building with exposed brickwork and old wooden posts. Food
Decent food. They are small, there was three people waiting tables, but they were still pretty slow. My wife didnt like her soup(I had the same and lived I) but it would have been nice for someone to check in on us.... She hardly touched it. Over all... Ok... Food : 4/5
The food is too notch and excellent amounts! Service was spectacular; our waiter had the best smile! First time without complaint in a long time!
Good food and service, great place to eat
Great little restaurant we came across whilst having a stroll around Bracebridge. I ordered the turkey naan. The rest of the party ordered fish and chips, steak tacos, a lamb burger and the goat cheese salad. All meals were served very quickly, hot and tasted great. Big portions too so we left with full bellies. I would definitely visit again.
Prime rib was sooo good. Great spot for a casual dinner or quench those thirst buds. Staff were very friendly. Waitresses were super cute. Great location in centre of downtown. Building is not huge and fills quickly. Would highly recommend. Not super cheap but like the saying goes you get what you pay for.
A wonderful place to eat! The restaurant itself is charming, with wood cabin-like walls, semi-dim lighting, and candles on the table. I appreciated how warm it was too, on one of the coldest days of winter! I also appreciated how the music wasnt too loud, and since the restaurant isnt huge, the volume never became overwhelming. Staff were friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for what you got. Parking: We used the free parking at the library right behind the restaurant. Lots of space, though we went when the library was closed.
Stopped in on a road trip . Service was super & food was delish ! Awesome spot
I drove over an hour specifically to come to this restaurant. I have dined here many times in years past. It seems that it has went downhill since then. Unfortunately this time was a very poor experience. The waiter was attempting to do things by memory without a notepad. This resulted in him having to come and reconfirm our drink order as well as getting my dinner order wrong. Appetizer was delivered and then not 30 seconds later a different waiter comes with our entrees - self realizing what has happened he then said hell go keep it warm. After hoofing down the appetizer for fear of cold food our entrees were delivered, now soggy and meh. I suspect this is a result of the waiter ringing in all food items at once and not a fault of the kitchen staff. This left us feeling pretty ripped off - when you spend $125 on dinner for two you expect a restaurant to have basic operations down pat.
Best Prime Rib ever. Service is Spot on
In town for the day and Google sent us in this direction. The previous review about the 5 year old asking where the waitresses pants were was pure unintentional comic gold. Pros The smash burgers were exceptional. The salads we had were fresh with good quality ingredients. The ice tea s we had were also spot on. The service was fairly quick and the entire platinum blonde staff was friendly. Cons The Caesar side salad was ridiculously small for $10. No water was brought to our table and we weren t offered refills on our drinks throughout our entire meal. The bill was a little pricey. $100 for a burger and fries and a burger and side salad. A single small Caesar salad and 2 ice teas and a single slice of cheesecake. All in all. Decent food and atmosphere at tourist trap prices.
I will never understand how there isnt a dress code around here, waitresses could dress appropriately, its not a beach its a workplace. Inappropriate. Food is ok, cleanliness not so much.
Fantastic! Showed up with 18 people at 2pm. Able to accommodate immediately. Service was great and quick. Everyone had something different, and not one person was unhappy! Will definitely be back. Thankyou! Great portion sizes and delicious!!
Patio lunch with friends. What a great spot. Ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. Super yummy but also super messy!! Best French fries! Hubby said his beef dip was the best EVER. Couldn t finish it. It was massive! Very sweet attentive waitress. Patient and helpful. Very nice inside too and clean washrooms. Win. Win. See you again!!
Great food, great service, great location
We vacationed in Muskoka for the week and we had to eat here twice!! The food is so delicious. They dont do reservations so keep that in mind- you may have to wait but its well worth it. The staff are friendly as well.
Took the family out for dinner here food was really good service was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was and the quality of food was not sacrificed doing so our server was great very friendly definitely recommend
Prime rib was cold and tough. Yorkshire pudding absolute garbage. Onion soup yuck. We sent it back and still charged us for it saying they couldnt resell it. Are u kidding.
The worst food. We had prime rib that tasted like rubber and was luke warm. The Yorkshire pudding was like dry like cardboard. The manager was rude and obnoxious. If you want delicious food and be treated respectfully never eat there.
We have been going regularly for 25 years. Consistent high-quality food and service. Im sure families will continue to enjoy it generationally.
Nice clean environment, friendly staff and good food. It s busy for a reason. I had the warm beat and bacon salad, a spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette with a slightly smoky flavour. It was fantastic.
Good food and friendly service. Love the ambiance created in the restaurant.
I recommend going to everyone!
Food was good, but not great, but service from Devon beyond outstanding. Great energy, attention to detail and overall best service in a long time! Thanks Devon!
Mushroom soup was awesome, burger was good. Server was nice.
Good food, great portions, good beer and nice staff.
Omg I don t normally leave reviews but that was seriously the best burger I have ever eaten! I had the lamb burger. AMAZING! The server was fun and attentive. I live 2 hours away but I will come back for the burger!!
The Turkey Naan-Wich was excellent.
We were charged an auto gratuity of 20% for a table of six. Took me by surprise that this is the norm now, typically weve had auto-grat for groups of 8 or more. The food was okay. The fish and chips were great, but the lamb burger disappointed. Portion sizes are generous and the atmosphere is wonderful. Our sever was excellent and very very efficient. So well deserving of the auto gratuity.
Great lunch..service excellent
Food was excellent. I was recommended the smoked turkey naanwich with blueberry mayo and it didnt disappoint. I paired it with a piping hot French onion soup, fries and gravy. Everything was the perfect pairings of flavor and the size was enough for 2 meals ... I fully recommend the smoked turkey naanwich
We ate here last night, we were passing through going back home to Newmarket... and we passed by this restaurant, looked lovely from the outside... so we tried it. The service was so good, funny and friendly. I guess because of the rain they were not much customers... so we got our food fast. The foot itself was really nice, my parents loved their soup of the day, and it felt like homemade. The parking at the back was convenient, too. We will definitely try it again if we get up north
It was a bit pricey so we shared.
The service was great .but the fish and chips ... good size fish is a plus but was greasy like the oil was not hot enough when cooked . ( But the fish size was 3 times that of red lobster. ) Which i will never eat there .French fries were perfect . French onion soup good broth . Good on cheese . No croutons or bruschetta.
First time there for and staff great
Nice place to eat
The best restaurant in Bracebridge Ontario Vegetarian options: They can accommodate most dietary needs Recommended dishes Fish and Chips Parking space
Delicious meal and very friendly staff
Wow, this place blew my socks off. I had the beef dip with fries and my wife had the turkey naanwich with fries. Both were incredible. We will definitely be back!
We just had lunch here. And dont eat here, trust me. Pathetic food, pathetic servers and the hostess was super rude and disrespectful. Normally I am too lazy to write reviews but the nightmare of experience that we had at this place here made me do it ASAP.
Pathetic food, pathetic service, looting money from people. I don t know why it shows such high ratings. Their servers were really really rude. Only the girl at the reception was nice, otherwise we really had a bad experience. I don t recommend this place to anyone. Also we were charged 20% service charge against our will.
Food was very good, sat outside. Staff/service was excellent. Highly recommend this establishment. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp
Great food, great service. Had lunch with the family and sat outside on the patio because it was a beautiful day out. Was recommended by a local shop and didnt disappoint. Look for it at the top of the hill.
Absolutely delicious , I got the cracking Chicken, juicy and tender, Super recommend, definitely will be back and try other dishes!!
I really enjoyed my lunch. I ordered a Portobello burger with soup of the day. The cream of tomato was out of this world. The burger was good as well. Service was excellent with a smile . Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options are available including vege burger and Portobello burger. Parking: Free parking a fee steps away
We came to this restaurant with high hopes from reviews, that is not what we got. Our server never smiled never came to the table, we would have ordered more but never got the chance. The neighbour table had bought us a dessert we were never told, which was upsetting for them and us. I had ordered a Long Island ice tea, the bartender didn t know how to make it, had to look it up, one of the easiest drinks a bartender should know how to make. We will not return and will definitely share our bad experience with others.
Definitely a great place to check out. Everything about the food, service, menu, and atmosphere was great. If only this was closer to Toronto. We had the French Beef Dip sandwich with the French onion soup and the Lamb Burger. The flavours were great and quality of food for the price exceeded our expectation.
Lovely place, excellent food but they dont take reservations. Vegetarian options: A few options. I had the portobello burger. Food : 5/5 |
Good portions are just right for that hungry person. Food flavour was perfect.
First time eating at this restaurant and it was busy. A good sign. We both had an enjoyable quiet meal and enjoyed the atmosphere.
I just can say ....its amazing
Visited here with family for lunch, devin was our server and he took great care of us. His energy and personality was amazing, very friendly and polite. He was fast and helpful. We started with the mushroom cream soup and it was really delicious, and flavorful. For mains we ordered the swis beef sandwich with caesar salad, it tasted juicy, and very delicious. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. Also the burger was good and loaded, the fish and chips was a bit greasy, and needed a bit of seasoning. The atmosphere was really great and family friendly. Overall it was a great experience. Definitely recommend this place.
What a fantastic restaurant! We came in on a busy Saturday night, the wait was minimal. We enjoyed the Prime Rib Dinner and OMG! This dish puts the Kegs Prime Rib to Shame. The atmosphere was nice and all the servers were very friendly. Cant wait to come back.
food was amazing & our server was the best! she was super helpful getting us hot water to warm a bottle for our son when he started to fuss. next time we re in town, we ll definitely be back!
Great Food, service and atmosphere. Excellent menu, great seating. Reasonable prices.
Absolutely great lunch. Love this place, we will be back
Our waitress brought all the buns we needed.
The bartender with the new Ray Bands was awesome, friendly and welcoming. Food was decent, but the staff are great. Would come back! Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs anywhere.
felt like an authentic Canadian experience. the beer on tap is delicious
One of the better places to eat in Bracebridge. My partner is from there, but had never eaten there either so we took the trip. The wait times were on the long side, but it was Muskoka in the summer, and we were in no rush. Had a patio table. Definitely recommend.
FOOD: Fish & Chips: love this one, better than many many restaurants. Big portion of crispy fried fish, the batter was just the right thickness. Inside is still moist and juicy. I dont know what the dipping sauce was but its very tasty. French Beef Dip: the beef was slightly bit dry, but great dipping gravy. Comes with a comforting cream soup (soup of the day) to warm you up. DRINKS: Summer breeze: exactly like its name, better having it in hot day. SERVICE: a bit slow as theyre very busy. VIBE: cozy atmosphere, the vibe of a local pub in a small town
Excellent food and service!
12oz Striploin was cooked to perfection!
I had the French onion beef dip, absolutely delicious. And do many fries. We also ordered the burger, it was huge, very tasty. Staff are great, very attentive and friendly.
