It is a bit hard to find this place, but once you do you will be happy that you did the food is good, but the tables were all dirty so we had to clean our own table before we could sit down. The bread is so fresh and so delicious, i could just eat the bread and be happy. Food is a good size portions and the price is good. We tried the beef and chicken kabob, both were excellent.
This is the best afghan cuisine you can get in Brampton. Always fresh. Always friendly staff. The meat is cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. Highly recommend 10/10
Definitely would come back!! This is my third visit here, I always get the same thing and I never get disappointed. You know when you’re coming in late at night and not expecting much, but this place is beyond expectation. The staffs were friendly. I placed an order online for takeout but I decided to dine-in instead. The food came out hot and fresh, you can tell by looking at the picture. I really enjoy the char flavor of the chicken tikka and the beef kabob. That’s when you can tell how much effort and hard work they put in the food so that it could come out this good and flavorful. I got a Wazeri Kabob PLATTER with extra Raisin & Carrots on top = 10/10 would recommend getting!!
Had lunch today on my birthday and enjoyed every minute. Firstly, ordered #2: Wazeri Kabob for dine-in. It consists of a bed of flavourful basmati rice, tender chicken and beef kabob and 'caesar' salad. Included are two side sauces of creamy dressing and tomato salsa and freshly baked flat bread. Everything was delicious. Secondly, the restaurant was very spacious, clean and odour free with comfortable seating. There is enough accommodation for energetic kids. Its a quiet atmosphere, with no music; just enjoy your meal and conversations. Lastly, I paid $16.95 incl. taxes which is extremely affordable considering inflation and the quality of food and service received. Staff was very respectful in tone and language and I would remind others to do the same. Overall, a great place to visit. If you can, try to pay with cash. This is to keep supporting wonderful small businesses. I will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
The I got a chicken shawarma wrap. It was really good and good portion size. My friend ordered a platter. The place was quite clean and decent and the service was good.
i’ve been twice and the food is really good but the service is not. the place could be cleaned more, a lot of the tables and seats were still dirty. no one really smiled or were polite even while taking the order. i would do takeout next time.
Absolute bang for your buck. Came here yesterday evening and the price was $15 for the amount of food you can see in the pictures! Oh, and of course, food was DELICIOUS! Definitely the best Afghani food spot in Brampton after Pamier Kabob (R.I.P) closed down by main and steeles. If you’re in the mood for some fire waziri kabob or anything afghani come here! Totally worth it!
Hello fellow foodies today I bring you an outstanding review for this Afghani restaurant. Today driving down Queen St. Brampton 7/19/2022 I was reminiscing about an Afghan restaurant I would frequent when I was working in Scarborough, and thinking how amazing food there really was!! So I had to get me some Afghani food today! And ladies and gents was I ever glad I stopped into this place to grab some takeout today. After reading some really great reviews on Royal Kabob Afghan Cuisine I had to drop in and grab some of their authentic Afghani cuisine. They sit on the backside of a not-so-visible plaza close to the downtown part of Brampton just on the north side of Queen St. With plenty of parking. They have a large eat-in dining area with plenty of seating. They do dining-in and takeout. They claim to be very authentic. Their menu is quite authentic from what I saw loaded will many options, different rice plate combos, salads, curries, and even a lamb shank dish. Food 5/5 The "The Sultan Kabob Platter" was my choice and it was just phenomenal, just absolute fire! Very Afghani authentic, everything freshly made to order, not the typical dried-out kabobs sitting around all day and stuck on a plate. I mean this dish tasted fresh, not reheated. One Kabob was chunks of juicy perfectly seasoned super tenderloin meat, the other was also very well-seasoned minced meat super tender and juicy. With the two kabobs came a very generous portion of rice, Afghani bread and salad along with two amazing dipping sauces. The basmati rice was delightful and very flavorful you could really taste the cardamom and cinnamon with hints of cumin and garlic in It. The salad was fresh with cucumbers tomatoes red onions and lettuce. The Afghani bread is always a joy to eat and from this place, it was no exception again very fresh. I have to say that the two sauces really stood out to me and were possibly the stars of this dish, The red tomato-based chutney was divine it was almost like a watered-down salsa with more of a lemon flavor and a hint of spice just the perfect dipping sauce for the meat, The white yogurt based chutney was so refreshing with strong hints of lime and possibly mint and cilantro again perfect dipping sauce for the kabobs. The platter itself was a decent generous-sized portion for one person but it was so good I probably would have fished two portions of it. It had a wonderful balance of flavor proteins and carbs. Great dish! Service 5/5 the food was made fast, the service was very friendly and the price was within reason for this quality of food. The presentation was also very nice. Guys and gals if you're in the area and you want the best Afghani food Brampton has to offer this is one of the places you must stop in to try.

Walk in for takeout food. I wanted to see the menu before ordering. The server was aggressive and loud and made me order something I didnt want to begin with. However, I took his suggestion and ordered combo #2, which is with chicken kabob and beef kabob. Then, I ordered a couple of beef kabobs again. The rice with the dish was dry and not Kabuli palaw; it was simply brown rice garnished with garam masala. The beef kabobs were overcooked and dry. The chicken kabob was tasteless and garnished with garam masala. The food was ready in 5 minutes, even though I was told that it would take 10 minutes. The food was placed on the side of the register counter without advising me that it was ready for pickup. Meanwhile, the server was talking to some young girls nicely, but when he saw me sitting and waiting, he again shouted that my food was ready. When I asked for utensils, which I knew I would need, they were not provided, and when I asked for them, he was rude and ignorant and said, Yeah, you take that. Let me tell you about the royal Afghan cuisine and service. Dont judge customers or underestimate them if its their first time ordering food. If you heard me correctly, I said this is my first time ordering food at your restaurant. No one has extra money to spend on rude and ignorant behavior with food of such low quality compared to other restaurants in Brampton. By the way, I drove 30 minutes based on Google reviews to try your restaurant. I will never be coming back again. Please take your attitude and arrogant behavior back to wherever you came from.

It was dark and gloomy inside. I went right at lunch time there was nothing in the fridge area and I was told 10 minute wait, at lunch time, I was the only one there. I got the chicken shwarma platter which came with rice, salad, pickles, turnips etc the usual shwarma fixings. Well i was told there is not pickles or turnips they had none, i had a few pieces of lettuce with no dressing or toppings as my salad. The chicken had some sort of curry like spice to it and smelled like indian curry the rice was similar an flavor. It was not at all traditional shwarma and was the worst I have had. I wont be going back. The counter girl was also VERY rude and seemed to treat the customer of her race better than she treaded me. What a waste of money
Awesome halal food
The food here is amazing! I had the wazeri kabob and the meat was super tender. Loved the garlic sauce aswell. Dont listen to the bad reviews, give this place a try. I will definitely be returning to try other dishes!
Came here because of the reviews. . The lamb shank was raw and tasteless. . The beef kabobs were dry. Customer service was subpar. Theres nothing special about this place. PS. The food caused constipation and bloating fir a couple of days after!

Good food, I got the shawarma platter. It was amazing and if youre looking for a good place for middle eastern food, I most definitely suggest you give royal kabob a try. Vegetarian options: With every meal, it comes with a salad. A bed of lettuce, topped with cucumber, tomato and red onion.
The front disk was very nice and the give me extra sauce. They were very friendly with my kids and the food is amazing. I really loved the atmosphere . Vegetarian options: The also option for vegetarian and taste amzing.

BAD. The MEAT is NON HALAL. SMELLS BAD, LOOKS BAD AND TASTE BAD. The red meat smells and taste terribly BAD in all dishes. They are supposed to be buying halal meat but are fooling customers. The sauces taste bad aswell. Rice is dry. Now the people are making bad food and serving non halal meat. Very bad low quality non halal meat. Close your business down! Dietary restrictions: NON HALAL MEAT is bad

The quality of food is amazing. I had my food catered by them for my sons birthday and my guest loved every bit of it from Rice (Kabuli rice was awesome!), Naan , Salad, Sauces and the meat Beef , chicken were so tender and juicy you know it was made fresh, the Falafel were so nice and soft even the next day it actually taste better. Thanks to Shahid and Naheeb for keeping your customers happy and not disappointed , I will definitely be ordering from you guys again. Keep it up!

Easily takes the prize for the best afghan food I ve ever had. I used to be a fan of Bamiyan until I found this gem which made Bamiyan look like week old leftovers in comparison. The meat and chicken are super tender and the flavours all mesh together really well. All well priced and it even comes with a side of naan. Unmatched service too, the owner is a really huge delight to talk to every time! If you re in the area, or even if you re not, definitely stop by this place. (I recommend the wazeri kaboob or the shawarma plater)

I went to this place seeing the reviews but thats the worst decision I ever made. Ordered shawarma and this was the worst shawarma ever. It smelt. Had a after taste and was hard. Clearly it was not fresh. And when I call the restaurant back to inform, what I am told is, it was over cooked and thats why it was hard. No responsibility on freshness, smell and after taste. And I am sure they continued selling the rotten chicken. Lesson learnt..never believe reviews. Look at the empty place and the customer service. Never going there is for sure but I hope I can stop other people going there and wasting their hard earned money. Not worth a single penny. For their food, for sure but more for their stupid reasons and excuses to defend themselves.

I figured 4.7 stars would be a good place but i was wrong. The meat portions are very small. Theres no seasoning in the meat. The rice didnt smell good at all. I really dont know how this place got 4.7. I had way better food out there.

Its one of my top 3 places to get lunch or take out in the city. Clean grilled meat and rice. Perfect after a workout or after work when you have a big appetite. Owner is nice and super friendly. I recommend it to many people.

Authentic and delicious Shawarma and kebabs! their food is very high quality. Shawarma was excellent but could use a little more chicken. I also ordered Beef kebab and tandoori chicken the marination actually reached all the way in the chicken and it was moist. Kebab has a mild but delicious taste. Just their plain rice has so much flavour. but I wish they could put tahini sauce with the kebab and tandoori chicken dish. Overall, this is better than 95% of Shawarma places in Brampton! definitely give it a try! (Pics are: Chicken Shawarma, beef kebab&beef chunks, and Kebab and tandoori chicken tikka)

The worst Afgani food we have ever had. As per the order Naan were supposed to be included in the dinner but were not provided. That is okay, no worries but the rest of the food was not at all up to the mark. Places like Pamier, Watan, Bamiyan, Kandhaar and Caravan are so much better. Very disappointed but didn t ask for Uber to refund since we all need to support each other in these times. I really hope that they improve their standard of food and taste. We order Chicken Chaplee and Waziri Dinners, very dry and tasteless. Please try and do better.

Food was really good. Got to experience the subtle taste of Mediterranean cuisine. Food was perfectly balanced as it should have been.
I came here with my boyfriend around 4 for an early dinner. The food was prepared fresh and the sauces they serve with the meals are amazing. It was a very hot day and there was no air conditioning inside. The server explained that the cooling comes on by itself later in the evening, but for patrons who arrive early on a weekday should feel comfortable dining in otherwise the restaurant should indicate that the facilities open for dinner only.
Ive been to this place a handful of times for pickup orders and I can honestly say that theyre great. Reasonable pricing for really good Mediterranean cuisine. Ill definitely be back. Cheers

One of my favourite comfort food places in Brampton. I always order combo 2 which has one generous piece of beef kebab and one chicken tikka, basmati rice and naan (this alone is already very good!) If you haven t been to this place, you are missing out!

Great bang for your buck. You get a surprising amount of food for under $16, with naan and plenty of sauces on the side. The food is flavourful, the meat is marinated beautifully and the rice is seasoned excellently too. If I could comment on anything, it s that there s almost no atmosphere here. Maybe it s my fault for expecting differently but many tables were dirty and the lights were off. Moral of the story is get takeout from here if you want an all-around great experience. Dine-in is a bit more iffy.

The chicken shawarma was amazing. You get a big portion to eat, for just 15$. I am impressed with the presentation of food. And size as well. The bread tasted great as it was fresh and warm. The perfect Mediterranean spot. If you are looking for something budget friendly. Then this is the best place. Located in Bramptons downtown. Make sure you a pay a visit. Amazing food for a great price. This would prob run $23+ in Toronto for the dish I got, but I got a beef kabob and chicken tika masala for $14! The chicken was so incredibly juicy and flavourful. I also enjoyed the dipping sauces on the side. There was a 15 min wait (we were the only ones there) but it s well worth the wait. Plan accordingly if you have to be somewhere! I definitely will come back if I m ever in the area!

It s obviously not like the big Afghan chains for food quality and quantity but it s not too bad for a quick bite. The dinners work out better for price rather than the individual dishes. Central Brampton could do with more kebab options.

i like this place alot . Their food is amazing but i have seen that a they are getting more appreciation they have started giving less portion than before like in a whole platter there will be like 20% chicken and rest is rice. i mean they have increased their price so they should give more portion too i loved it when they used to give good amount. I really hope they consider it as i kinda go there alot.

Ordered chicken chappli and shammi kabob . I felt spice level was less for me . If you don t like much spices, it is the place for you .the price isn t that crazy ended up paying $11 for both items.

I dont usually post commenst but this was not the food we were hoping to get.... absolutely way below average food. Rice was not even close to the Afghani rice, oil was floating in the rice.... disgusting. We had to eat a little bcoz no choice at 10pm..... but rest all went in the bin. Kebabs were totally dry. Never ordering again.

I walked out the store without my dessert and he came running to my car to make sure I didn t forget it. Above and beyond make sure you visit this location whenever you get the chance.
