Delicious food. Great customer service. Owners, Vishnu and Sunita are very nice people. Warm and friendly. A great first experience. Will be my go to place when I am in the area. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian selection. Lots of vegan dishes to choose from as well.

Best taste must try their veggie doubles. It comes with chhole (chane) tastes just like chhole bhature

Honestly: I think they have better doubles than Radicas. Havent tried the roti yet.

Liiiistenn... I interrupted my dinner to write this review. 10/10. I ordered 3 doubles and 5 paratha (buss up shut). Im mad I only ordered 3 doubles, and 5 buss up shut TBC. Vishnu, respectfully, youre moving maaaad. Plus there were bare pick up orders while I was there, which is always a good sign. 10/10. Ill be back tomorrow to order more. God bless. (16NOV2024)

Goat roti . Used to be excellent, recently I found , that very dry and meat seems to old . Not good at all, would not recommend the rotis .

I got a shrimp doubles and a goat doubles, came to $14 after tax which is not inexpensive but quite filling still. Both were very tasty but the doubles were not wrapped the best for takeout and got stuck to the wrapping paper so my eating experience was rather messy. Flavour great though and they gave me exactly the amount of pepper I asked for (slightly less than medium hot)

Mouthwatering, amazing, and not over-salted like some places, the doubles are to die for! Everything is fresh! Every time I pass through Brampton I have to stop and get half a dozen doubles! I have had their goat roti, rice, and soup...everything is delicious and fresh!

I recently visited and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the curry chicken roti with a bit of extra spice, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the roti itself was fresh and satisfying. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. When my roti started to come apart towards the end, I was struggling to eat it neatly. The owner noticed and kindly brought over a plate and utensils to help me out, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The combination of great food and exceptional service, makes this place a standout spot. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Caribbean cuisine! Ordered a large order of pholourie for an event! The owners called to confirm the order and any questions we had! It was fast and easy process, everyone was extremely friendly. The pholourie was sooo tasty and we did a mango/tamarind chutney mix that was also so delicious! Vegetarian options: Many veggie options such as curry potato, aloopie, doubles, pholourie etc

I was visiting Toronto from Michigan for a weekend family trip and it was a must that I found an Authentic Trinidadian restaurant and get some doubles. I googled places and found Vishnu s and I am sooo glad I did! The doubles were so flavorful and really made my day! Next time I m in Toronto, I will be back!

Been coming here for about 10 years. VISHNU is always helpful and very courteous. His wife is also amazing.

We ordered two Chicken Roti s, they asked if we wanted pepper and we specifically said no. When we got home, the Roti was swimming in pepper. We called them to complain and their excuse was that they have pepper in everything. Obviously we know that there will be some pepper in the curry! We ve had there Roti before with no issues. Recently visited and the food definitely tasted like home! Vishnu is a very pleasant person, very customer-friendly and accommodating. His prices are also quite competitive while not compromising on quality. He also has a painted wall of many things Caribbean - airlines, coconuts, if you re Caribbean, you d definitely appreciate the piece of nostalgia he creates. Highly recommend a visit if you re in the area.

Worst food Ive ever had. I got the veggies and curry goat. Goat was extremely oily and thick of curry. The veggies were all placed in one container and wasnt appetizing at all. Never again going to this place! If I had an option for 0, I would rate 0!

Came across this gem when looking for a great place to enjoy lunch with some co-workers. Vishnu was so kind, friendly, and hospitable to us. It felt like we were guests sitting in his home. You can tell he has a passion for this food and takes pride in serving delicious meals! I enjoyed a scrumptious double double and what a treat it was! I d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, unique, and authentic meal!

Ive only ever ordered doubles, aloo pie and pholourie and they always taste good. The girls at cash are nice but the other day I stood there ringing the bell and calling out for 7 minutes before someone came and I could hear them talking in the back. Thats kind of annoying. But I wanted doubles, so I waited. Again, the food is always tasty.

Service is always friendly and fast you can also call ahead your order . Great tasting food.

I found a hair in my food here so I am wondering if the staff are wearing hair nets or take them off in the back .The place looks unsanitary . Too long wait times and customer service is bad . They have some kids /young adults working in there who don t seem to know how to prepare Trini/ Caribbean food and so the quality of their food just keeps getting worse . Used to be a great place, not anymore.

Ordered chicken roti on paratha and pholourie. ROTI - taste 1/5 4 pieces of chicken to a wedding size roti PHOLOURIE taste 1/5 Bland and pale looking Thought it would taste great because of its high reviews. Maybe they have other better tasting dishes.

These guys gave me food poisoning and I never went back ever since. I now religiously will be going Pepper on the side as the food is fresh.

We ordered jerk chicken with rice , doubles and Chana aalo with roti...everything was really delicious and flavourful, its all inhouse preparation and made from fresh ingredients, specially their doubles was a blast of flavours and the hospitality was amazing ....the owner is a very friendly guy and greets you with so much enthusiasm and love...I end up buying west indies snacks too for home like tamarind balls and banana soda drink which he gave it to us complimentary and I am totally digging it.....its a must visit place for all

Vishnu & staff put out very true to Trini food, in a true Trini hospitality way! Mouth watering doubles, pholourie, fresh meat & vegan food, full of heart & flavour of the island nation! Once We introduced this place to out Non carribean friends & family, its now a must go at least 2X a month! Vegetarian options: Yes, they do vegan. Kid-friendliness: The owner is a big kid himself!

My first time here today and I tried the pholourie for the first time too. Service is fast and no wait time. Theres seating area but most customers did take outs while I sat. I didnt know what to expect of the pholourie. The texture was great crunchy on outside fluffy inside. In my view it was under seasoned and a bit oily. They were served with a tamarind sauce but they would have gone well with a hot green chilli sauce. Twelve pieces for $4 its a good price for a snack! Vegetarian options: Pholourie

My wife ordered 2 large goat rotis tonight. As I opened it to eat half this is what I see. Take a close look at this picture who so ever made this needs to be fired . No goat, No Aloo,and no sauce. Totally unacceptable.

I love this place. Can t believe I discovered it so late. I tried doubles from other places as well after trying Vishnu s but nothing trust me no one matches their quality. The doubles was on point. The taco skin thing called Bara was soft and thin and the chick pea filling was amazing. The potato pies with the chick pea filling was oh so good, but the hot sauce got a zing to it. The roadie was perfect it just melts in your mouth. The prices are fair compared to other establishments and the customer service was hostile not like other places. It s budget friendly and tastes great. Calorie wise not sure, but I am pretty sure it s a lot A definite must try. Vegetarian options: It s actually vegan. Parking: 14 spaces all around plus at the back there about 8 more spaces.

Time is everything. I know this not a fast food service but an actual food maker. It was great because the meal was hot even after walking home .good quantity is always bonus especially when from food to gas the price seems to be on a steady incline since covid. Btw theyre using covid as the excuse. Want real food and dont have the time to prepare or the know how. Help yourself by visiting and come to your own conclusions

After a long day shift as an Brampton visiting RN, I stumbled upon this restaurant this evening for the first time. I was actually craving doubles. Not only was the customer service from the staff and Vishnu the owner very friendly, Vishnu even offered sample of pholourie. I can say the taste and freshness of the doubles, and pholourie were 5/5, as well as the pepper sauce and sauce on pholourie. I cant wait to head back to try the menu. The roti and doubles were amazing. Jam packed with flavour and very juicy! We ordered medium spice it was perfect. Customer service is great they gave us rapid test ;) very kind. We will definitely return whenever we re in the area. It s one of the best roti joints in Brampton

Roti skins are good, but doubles are meh.

I went there today to get some doubles and goat and there customer services was simply amazing. They were extremely nice and helpful and helped me pick out what to get to eat. They gave my son a sample to see if he likes the food and he did most restaurants wont do this. They are a good place to get doubles and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Always great food and service. I think their pholourie is without question the best in all the Trinidad Roti shops in the GTA. Their doubles is also good. I like the aloo pie because it s soft, the potato is plentiful and well seasoned. It tends to be chewy with barely any potato at other places. This is my go to place once in the area.

The staff was super professional and patient with us, despite our unfamiliarity with the menu. We ordered the doubles, pholourie, ana aloo roti. All of which were all delicious. Spice wise, medium with tamarind turned out perfect.

Decided to give these guys a try once again to see if I would receive the same quality as last time. I ordered a boneless goat meat with rice. I recieved about 5 pieces of small meat and no gravy at all. Just dhal and rice that had water at the bottom of the container. This actually happened before when I ordered another meal off the menu. Im so disappointed I will never return again.

Was in the area for my sons basketball games. We decided to try some West Indian food. Vishnus seemed to have a lot of good Google reviews. We ordered Palorui and boneless chicken roti. The Palouri had a lot of oil to the point where the brown paper bag it came in was saturated with oil. The boneless chicken roti had way too much salt and seemed like it was warmed up in the microwave. Definitely will not repeat.

I ate here and there was rats in the restaurant. I did not want to say anything whilst getting my food because I did not want to create a scene, but unless Im seeing things their was 100 percent rats in that place. The rotis itself is all right but was undercooked twice when I bought it. With a name like Vishnu I was expecting better.....

Food was amazing - never had such delicious, soft, pliable roti before and curry packed full of meat. Even better was the customer service - there was a misunderstanding in our order and she went over and above to fix it. Will be taking friends and family back here for sure.

Its good. People here are super friendly. Portion sizes are normal, not too small. Usually come to get the dhal pourri, but order ahead to be safe.

Vishnus is a charming little shop serving excellent Authentic Carribean food at very affordable prices. The business is family run and youll often find Vishnu and his immensely fascinating father talk to everyone in the store and making sure everyone is comfortable. Best of all, everything is Halal! Hello foodies today I bring you a pretty amazing review of this fabulous trinidadian restaurant and takeout place. My neighbor being trini suggested I had to try this place for roti ,so today I decided to drop in and grab thier curry goat roti and oh boy was it fire! I am white so I am no roti expert only having had it on a few prior ocasions but I know good food when I taste it , and this roti was delicious. Food 5/5 the curry goat roti was a mouthful of flavouful explosions let me tell you ..this goat was not only melt in your mouth tender but loaded with so much incredible trini species coming at you from every angle just so dam good. I opted for medium pepper and it was just the perfect heat level complementing the goat and roti. The portion was huge so much meat like 90% meat no fillers , ya it had some potatoe but it was loaded with juicy goat meat , the curry flavor was strong but yet insanely good. A very filling portion size for anyone they dont skimp out on all that meat filling ..the roti itself was also amazing in itself . Service 5/5 owner who served me was super nice took out the time to explain my options and very friendly, great service food came out piping hot ...really recomend this place if your looking for that spicey trinidadian flavor. Fantastic place for some spicy Doubles. I havent tried much from this location but can assure you guys that the couple running the business are making sure to provide you the best Trinidadian food of their level best. The portion is enough and price is reasonable for pretty much every single dish. They always greet you nicely. Must try place.

We ordered the goat and chicken roti. I meant to take a photo of it opened up but was hungry and it was delicious. I got the goat roti with medium pepper and felt it was not overpowering and enjoyed my meal. My fiancé got the chicken with no pepper and it still had a bit if a kick but you dont order Caribbean food if youre not looking for a little spice. Overall from the takeout bag to the food I was impressed but i would have to order the doubles I keep reading about in the future

Was really upset that they have their restaurant listed as open at 9 am, we drove all the way to them, arriving after 9am only to see no one was in the restaurant, also called. Wasted our gas, time to now have to figure out somewhere else to go.

Ordered a boneless goat roti and pholourie, the curry was good but something seemed off with the goat and I couldn t finish it. Threw up about 75-90 minutes later. I ll stick to eating at Radicas.

The best doubles in Ontario!

I had a really bad customer service with this brown female taking my order. I think she may have been the owners daughter. She was extremely rude when I was ordering and did not help me with questions I had. She had such an attitude. I ordered doubles which ended up being really soggy and everything fell when I started to eat. I will not be going to this place anymore and do not recommend it. The owner in general is really nice, but his daughter is not, or his employee.

Owner is very nice and didnt mind me paying in lots of nickels, dimes and quarters because I left my wallet at home Food is very flavourful and I suggest always go for the large. If you get the small you will want to eat more because its so delicious!

Loved the doubles boneless chicken roti and jerk chicken with rice. Got small for the roti and jerk chicken perfect amount of food so we could enjoy the doubles too.

Needed 4 clap roti skins, to go with a wicked beef coconut curry I made. It was within one hour of closing, so I called ahead to see if they had any (its common that places are sold out just before close). They were very pleasant to talk to on the phone. They werent ahead and made 4 FRESH roti for me. Yes! Roti was fantastic - a bit flaky but not crumbly; strong enough to hold the curry without soaking through but not tough or rubbery; huge portions. The office is right too. My wife and kids lives it. Will definately buy again. Tamarind balls were just ok... but I love that they have them and so many other goodies, like these yummy Orange Cakes (like a twinkie but better) from Trinidad. So, with such nice variety, excellent service and clinch roti this review can only be a five/5.
