Good taste. Biryani was very good. Meat was well cooked and delicious.

Ordered special.biryani, malai steaks and masàla bindi and what do we get? Biryani that was topped with what appeared to be raw marinated chicken, a less than mediocre chicken steaks an the masala bhindi was the worst. Ripened, unchewable ocras in a slimy onion masala with NO SALT and NO MASALA!! Total disaster! Never ordering again.

The only place in entire Ontario that has original Hyderabadi biryani taste at Baigs. I tried several places nothing beats the taste the chef brings to the dish. Please don t loose the chef.

I wish I could rate this establishment lower than one star. I ordered the butter chicken, priced at $16 (before taxes) and was disappointed to find that the chicken was undercooked and appeared to have been hastily added to the curry without proper preparation. The dish lacked the rich, buttery flavor typically associated with butter chicken. Additionally, there were only ten small pieces of chicken in the curry, which I counted. This experience does not align with the positive reviews this restaurant has received, leading me to question their authenticity.

I ordered a takeout and I had to wait 30mts additional for chicken dum biryani to be ready and when I went home found chicken was under cooked no spices or flavour at all. Also bought tikka boti kebob plate and asked for it to be spicy. Again bland and tasteless. I don t know if this is one off or quality is always this bad but Disappointed for wasting money. will never go there again.

Great hydrabadi biryani and chicken 65

I visited to have lunch at Baigs Grill and found authentic Hyderabadi cuisine.Food items were delicious and good. I recommend this place for eating or take away Luqmi, Biryani, Kabobs, sweets and Hyderabadi Chai (Tea) etc.

Friday Aug 09, 2024 15:25 hrs, Order was supposed to be ready at 15:00 hrs, Order was not ready when I arrived. The lady at the reception ENO had lot of attitude and was very rude. Wont accept that I had to wait to pick up my order. Initially tried to sneak in the order with out eggs. Then I asked for it and had to wait again. She brought in the eggs in a separate container. However, sneaked in the order without their Mirchi Gravy, on two special biryanis. It is only when I checked. Very unethical and unprofessional, ENO should had let us known that we are missing items from the order rather then just packing without informing the CX. Lost Customer due to bad service. Customer service at it worst , not at all apologetic. I also asked to talk to the manager ENO told me there is no manager.

An unforgettable experience! Ive never had this style of food before. With so many new flavors its hard to pick my favourite dishes however i think there were 4 standouts. The mutton biryani was perfectly cooked and expertly presented. The eggplant curry had the most unique blend of spices that make it rival any non-veg dish. The chicken tikka was so juicy and tender. Last but not least the apricot dessert was mindblowing for me since i normally am not a big fan of sweets but this was amazing. Definitly will be back with my family of course for the cuisine but also for the warm and welcoming service!

Dum biryani and khubaani ka meetha is a must try! I only visit this place from Montreal for these 2 dishes cause I can never find the perfect taste anywhere in Montreal. Although,next time, please make sure the custard in khubaani ka meetha is not frozen.

Best Biryani in Mississauga. Every time I visit Toronto, I eat here at least once. This is my happy place for eat delicious food. The owner is master chef who uses the best ingredients. The quality of Mutton is second to none. He cooks with basmati rice as supposed to Sala rice. Any establishment which uses Sala rice for Biryani, does not have professional chef. I highly recommend this place.

Out family dined here. The special Biryani was sufficient for 4 and was tasty, could have been better if it was served hot. Durbani ka meetha is a must try. The waitress was very polite and took good care of the diners.

Just ordered from here on Uber Eats. The quantity that I got was not the same as I would get in person. I ve been here with a couple of friends and I ve seen how big the platter was. I didn t pay $35 for the platter to get such little quantity. Also the shahi paneer didn t look like the picture either.

I have had food from Baigs Grill, Brampton a few times. The taste and the quantity have been consistent always. Mutton biryani, Nawab kebabs, Mutton karahi, Qubani ka meetha are some of the delicious items in the menu. Authentic south Indian Hyderabadi cuisine.

Ive been a regular customer here. The biriyani and 65 had lost it taste. Ive catered biriyani for a wedding to which was brilliant but could not get back that taste while in restaurant. And even the 65 is become so bland. Not sure if the chef has changed.

Placed an order for Dum chicken, Haleem and Lukhmis and aside from Lukhmi, service size of both other dishes was not enough for 2 people to eat. No value for money.

Used to be very good in taste as well as in quantity. Not any more as we tried special mutton biryani, and it used to be sufficient for atleast 4 people but now quantity is almost reduced to half with the price hiked not sufficient for even 2 people. Completely disappointed.

As South Asian, I find most places serving the community tend to over spice their food. Baigs Grill is different and focus on flavor rather than Heat ! Also the Qubani ka Meetha is an AMAZING desert! You gotta try it!

I went there today and had dinner. I got the bill with 13 % hst and 13 % Gratuity. I asked what is Gratuity and was told service fees. I didnt know that I had to pay a forced amount to be served. For the owner of Baigs grill definition of Gratuity is something given voluntarily or beyond obligation usually for some service. especially : tip. added a gratuity for the server So pls stop ripping off ur customers.

When we arrived we were seated. There was cups of water at the table that looked foggy. The glasses they had the water in were a turn off as they looked cheap and have been used way too much. But the reviews seemed like the place was worth giving a shot so we decided to proceed : after realizing there were floating particles and debris in our water we decided to not drink from their cups and ordered bottle water instead. We ordered the grilled platter and biryani large dish. After a lengthy wait for fresh food which is fine we were given the grilled platter, the waitress asked if we wanted our chicken biryani now or later???? It s like what?????? Ummmm obviously if we ordered biriyani we want it altogether! How amateur is that!! Why on earth would we want to sit there and eat grilled pieces of meat without our biryani rice to go with it? Right away I knew this place was a 1 star joint. I was fuming angry watching as my grilled dish that I paid $30+ for was getting cold waiting for the biryani rice to come. Food was tasteless to me. I didn t enjoy myself. Atmosphere was was nice. Seating was nice, but definitely kissed my $80 goodbye. My son had to spit out his egg from the biryani because he said it taste nasty. The chicken from the grilled dish taste rank. Their chutney and other sauces had no taste as well. Let s face it the restaurant business is over saturated and as a restaurant if you aren t bringing your A game to the table for every single customer you just really shouldn t be running a restaurant. Whether you are a family owned business or not you will eventually go under. This restaurant has gotten its fair share of bad reviews so by now they should know where their weaknesses are and fix what s wrong going forward. They will become strong and be able to excel In service if they do. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever!

I first started visiting this place 2 years ago . It used to be amazing . The food was as good as it used to be back home . But now I feel their quality has dropped a lot . They removed rumali roti too like why ? Also the service has become slow and the food just doesn t taste the same anymore . It is still better than a lot of places for Hyderabadi biryani but I d say the taste and quality has dropped by atleast 40% . I dunno what happened but this place used to be amazing

Vegetarian biryani here is something like they didnt want to make it and they made it just big brinjals,carrots and half cooked potatoes. I dont have words to explain how bad it is. If you want to taste authentic Hyderabadi biryani..and Haleem during Ramadan this is the place I eat regularly here with my family and friends Only once I had bad experience with uncooked chicken being served later they told me that they picked wrong handi

So these guys have now started to serve stale, reheated food. We went there for lunch today and ordered the Chicken 65, Black Pepper Mutton and Okra. They didnt have the Black Pepper Mutton so we swapped it for the Beef Seekh Kebab. The food arrived luke warm. After tasting it, we decided to send the Chicken 65 back because it was just digusting. The Kebab wasnt fresh and anyone who has had previous days kebab knows how it is; hard and dry. The Okra was undercooked. I couldnt even chew it because it was still raw. Somehow we paid and rushed out of there. I got out so fast that I forgot my hat there. I didnt even go back to get it even though I was just 100m away. Now after 3.5hrs, I have been to the can twice with really bad diarrhea. Stay away!

The food was amazing, one of the best Biryanis ever! We ordered take out. The staff wasnt courteous when we tried to share feedback. She barely understood simple English! When we asked to talk to the manager, the lady said that the manager wasnt around, then she changed the story and said that there is no manager but just the owner. When we asked her to share feedback with the management, she misunderstood thinking that we were talking about her and started accusing us by twisting the words. She was on her (personal) phone with her earphones speaking to someone while managing the billing counter! Word to management - we understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and English is just a language for communication. But do train them in some basic customer service management. I have been to other restaurants where Ive seen hard working international students running the show and being warm, welcoming and polite with everyone.

I dont know why and how they have such good reviews, while their biryani is literally garbage!! Biryani is meant to be full of flavours, fried onions, mint, coriander, saffron, masalas, colorful rice layered between veggies. Ordered veg dum Biryani and got white rice having huge big pieces of potatoes and few pieces of carrots. No masala, no onions, no veggies, no flavour at all. Not even Salt. And to my surprise- you are using brinjal in biryani, like seriously??? I cook Biryani much much better at home, regretting my decision of ordering Biryani from outside. Big piece of Advise- Please dnt ruin such ultimate receipe of Biryani by selling garbage. Have tried other 3-4 restaurants in Brampton who sell amazing biryani. Chicken and lamb biryani- The flavour was 5/5, chicken is well cooked but lamb did not taste that good; hyderabadi flavour Mirchi ka salan and raita tastes good as well, But do provide onions/ boiled egg with the biryani those shouldn t be charged.

Our experience was a 10/10, this is our second time visiting this place after an excellent first time experience. We ordered a special mutton biriyani, we were four people and we shared it and still there was some leftover. The taste reminds us of a typical hyderabadi traditional biriyani. Would visit again soon ! Overall cost effective and the portions are sufficient.

We ordered special chicken biryani which we really liked and our experience was great. Ordered Qubani ka meetha for takeout which came in a really small box and was worth 10$ which was disappointing. The quantity doesn t justify the price tag.

I am posting this review on my last visit to this location because of their Biriyani was good, but the hyderabadi mutton Biriyani was quite expensive to other restaurants. I got just 4 pieces in the meat and some rice which is cost $19plus and I order plain rice which cost more than $12 but the quantity is very less. I understand that price important for every product they sold at the same time quantity also must. The taste wise it s not special as they mentioned it. Yes it is bhagara rice or what ever it s a simple bastmati pulo but according to the price it s very less quantity. Please check other restaurants quality and quantity don t think I am frustrated. It s genuine suggestion if you take this suggestion you will really improve the standards of business.and what you mean mutton is fresh it s should be fresh and anyone like frozen?

DONT BELIEVE FAKE REVIEWS We dined at Baig s grill after seeing so many positive reviews here on google. Trust me it is one of the worst restaurants when it comes to food. We ordered goat biriyani, chicken 65 and a paneer curry. Nothing was tasting like it they described here. Here s my experience. 1. Mutton dum biryani - fully soggy and the meat was not well cooked - proportion of rice and meat was too bad. Everything was watery and extremely bad. (Look at the pictures if you don t believe) 2. Chicken 65 - I ordered this as my biryani came in and she bought this dish in less than 2 min. You can now guess how a dish with less than 2 min cook time will taste. It was full of red color and watery. 3. Panner curry - not fresh and that paneer tasted so chewy. We travelled so far reading all these positive reviews but don t be bluffed by them just as we did. Save your time and money. I hope that health Canada takes action against such restaurants. Side note - Do u think i will lie to you with pictures you are saying we dont sell goat. it said mutton biriyani on your menu check what you are serving and yes it tasted terrible.

This is one of the worst places I have ever been to. The waitress doesnt know how to communicate in proper English and argues and doesnt even let us to finish what we say. They clearly mentioned in the menu the food serves 2-3 people but their Raitha and the Saalan quantity serves JUST one, which makes no sense.

To add to my review today 27th December 2023 I did a take out for dinner and I ordered chicken Kababs, Baghare Baingan, Kadu ka dalcha, and Nan And Baghare Chagall. There was no room for errors as I went back to Hyderabad for the superb tasty food and I can only say they have truly lived up to the expectation of the people of Hyderabad. The food quality and taste of authentic special chicken biryani and chicken 65 brings me every time to baigs grill brampton location. The food portions are large, and the service is quick. They charge extra (service charge) in the bill, if you dine at this place ( four persons or more) . For me, it is a great place for fresh flavors. I would highly recommend this location of baigs grill.

The best chicken 65 biryani! I recommend purchasing the large tray for $32+ if you re going to be buying Biryani because the regular small one is just not enough when it has you craving more and more! Food was awful - the only thing about the biryani i liked was the tender meat. The kebobs were hard and the chicken curry was so bland. They also missed my food order about $15 worth of Lukmi. They charged me $130.00 and after paying i was confused. So i started counting the price of each item. The staff/owner came rushing out saying they accidentally charged me $60 extra? Hmm ok..... so they gave me $60 cash back even tho i paid visa. The food was late not to mention there was a disappointed customer that had purchased food from them yesterday and was very upset about the biryani.. This was my first time trying them, and the food was not something i would return for. Their unethical practices in overcharging was a huge turn off! I am so shocked! Also the restaurant was empty! I think reviews indicating they are a 4.3 are highly fabricated. Please dont go to them based on that.

Visited this place yesterday and got Biryani and Haleem! The food was so authentic and mindblowing. Drove from St.Catharines and this place was 5 out of 5. Great place now lost its quality and service. Nan wasnt great. It tasted they used frozen ones, just warmed and gave us. Taste was awful. Biryani lost its taste. It was the best Hyderabadi biryani place we loved but unfortunately we felt taste wasnt as it used to be. Maybe the chef is different.

Excellent and authentic Hyderabadi food!

We tried the Baigs Platter for 2. Included the starters in chicken and beef, which came with 2 naans and some chutney. Seekh Kebabs were good for both Chicken and Beef, And Chicken Tikka was also good in taste. Naan were soft till the time we finished food (about 30 mins) which was one good thing. Chutney was good, a combination of chillies with mint and coriander. Zero wait time to get seated.

Baigs Grill, and I must say their Hyderabad Biryani is the best Ive ever had. The flavors were truly authentic and mouthwatering. This place is a must-visit for biryani enthusiasts.

Food taste out of the world. I love food from this restaurant but How the hack some one can eat biryani without spoons and forks . I told staff on call that please put cutlery in both bags and we are on job. There is no cutlery at all in both bags of food.

My wife and I along with family ate at the Eglington location and were amazed at the freshness and wonderful flavour of the Special Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65 and also beef Sheekh kabob. The portions were significant and lots left for take home. The servers were friendly and helpful making for a very enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant is small but they are big on offering quality food with great service. We highly recommend this location . You will not be disappointed!! We are coming back!! Kid-friendliness: We saw kids enjoying themselves and the servers interreacted with them in such a kind manner!

Best Hyderabadi dum biryani

First time I came, ordered the grilled platter with a friend. Food was AMAZING. Since then, I have been addicted to their butter chicken. The NAAN is also very delicious. Food is always fresh and Zeenat provides amazing customer service.

Was not comfortable with the chicken that was served. Looked bloody and pink. I am sure I would ve got food poisoning if I consumed that chicken. The chef came out and told us that the chicken was in the oven for an hour and no one has a problem with that kinda chicken. Doesn t mean anything if the temp in the oven is not right. Also was a struggle to get the refund.

First time at this place, read a lot of great reviews on Reddit about their Hyderabadi biryani and wanted to try it out myself. As a Hyderabadi I am constantly on a look out for authentic taste and flavours of our biryani here in Toronto. Tried their mutton biryani and chicken 65. Not disappointed with the taste, not very impressed either. I know it s better than a lot of other biryanis in GTA but that just doesn t cut it for me, the rice was slightly over cooked and mushy and mutton was not soft enough. But I have to say this is the closest taste to the real Hyderabadi biryani I could find so far in GTA, I guess my hunt for authentic Hyderabadi biryani continues !! Service was great though!

Store bought chutney. Very Bad naan , most probably readymade ones just heated before serving. Even Biryani is a disaster. Better close the restaurant down. Not worth anymore.
