Blackstone Steakhouse and Grill in Brampton

We drove 30 mins to this 4.4 stars rated place that is really old and located in a very awkward spot with no parking. We have to pay for parking across the street. The service was really pathetic. It took the people 15 mins to come to us to take our order - so we decided to walk out. Extremely poorly managed and very inefficient staff members (particularly one who kept chewing gum) who keep walking for god knows what between the front door and the kitchen.

Blackstones Brampton location was great. The food is great as always, but this service at the Brampton location is exceptional. Firstly, they were low in stock for one of the items we wanted to order however the chef made accommodations and made the dish anyway. Also, this location has a prayer space on-site, which really makes dining here even better so you dont have to stress about missing prayers. Excellent service!

The place is old, unclean. The steak was stale and undercooked. The quality of meat was not good.

Started going here during COVID and the food was pretty tasty. The staff is friendly, but not very attentive. Loved it up until our last few visits. The place is starting to look a little grungy. Definitely needs a big upgrade. Please get more kitchen staff and more attentive waiters. On a busy night, you ll most likely be waiting more than an hour for your food. Overall, it s mid, their steaks are a hit or miss at times.

I love going here for the blackstone steaks! The food always tastes great. The servers can be more attentive, but other than that, nice place to go eat. - Update: not sure what has changed but the food isnt what it used to be anymore. Went 2 more times and the food tasted a lot more bland. Ordered the steak and their Atlantic salmon, both dishes lacked any concrete flavour. Ordered the chimcurri sauce with it as well, and they gave a bowl of oil with some herbs sitting at the bottom. Very disappointed. Will not be recommending this place anymore.

Quite environment, ordering must be done as soon as you arrive, wait time varies 30-50 mins if certain orders done on the menu. LCBO parking 30 mins next door, so please make sure you look for tickets or tow truck. Parking: Parking across the street. Paid parking, does come with 90 mins free parking but please check otherwise you may get a ticket. Parking meter is close by, most cars parked here this day didn t have paid tickets.

Nice steaks..bit expensive but worth the treat and time. Service is amazing..staff smiling and accommodating with kids... Would definitely visit again. Parking: Parking across the street. Didnt pay anything while parking on weekends. Parking available in lcbo beside the restaurant as well but not recommended by the staff at Black Stone. Kid-friendliness: Staff was very accommodating in terms of children.

Server spilled steak juice on me and the steak was tough.

Decided to stop and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at an old bar we used to come to 30 years ago. Our dinner was amazing. Chefs pasta plate was superb and the Strip loin on the rocks was to die for. Definitely worth the money! Our server Armaan was very professional and provided excellent service.

I can t believe this place has so many five stars. Incredibly overpriced for terrible steak. Today my food had a hair in it and they wouldn t take it off my bill only offered to replace it. By then I had lost my appetite. The steak was not seasoned well at all. I spent $250 for a group of 5 with two kids meals. They don t have any parking, the floors are sticky. They don t even give you a paper receipt. Just hands me a machine with the total including tip.

We were served a rotten steak T-bone steak. Tasted off and smelled sour, returned it to the kitchen, and they confirmed that it had gone bad. Giving one star because the nachos were really good.

We were visiting Toronto and stopped here for halal steak. If you want to have curry steak, this is the place to go. Otherwise, make your steak at home with simple seasoning because there was too much different flavors going on. We were told 2 people (kids and adults) can t share a meal, but the portions were huge. It ended up too much food. The jerk chicken nachos were great tho, a creative and tasty appetizer.

Flavours of the foods do not go with the title of them, do not expect the regular taste when ordering, sometimes a cultural spin can be great but here it doesn t work. I d say the title of the restaurant on google should indicate some kind of cultural spin or inspiration in terms of taste. If you re looking for a good steak I d pass on this one. From a Caribbean the jerk chicken nachos are not ittt. Server was nice though :)

The food was absolutely awful. The jerk chicken was very sour and tasted old. The jerk nachos were disgusting with burnt cheese, as well as the steak. The steak here is not good and tastes like a car tire with butter glazed on it. 2 of my friends puked when they got home because of the food here.

Never going back to this location. Every order was wrong. Bought a takeout dish like 30 mins ago and then go home check the entire order was wrong ridiculous place.

Me & my family went to dine in last week, as usual the food was delicious and as it s Halal so you can order anything from the menu! I would highly recommend Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, it was absolutely out of this world!! And Abhishek gave very good service and was very friendly. Kid-friendliness: Also they gave food to my daughter very fast before they gave to all the adults in my family. My daughter absolutely loved her Alfredo Pasta !

My two-year-old said to me, Mom, this is the best food in the whooooooooollllllllllllllleeeeeeeee world . Her meal was nuggets and fries. My husband had the ribeye, and I had the chef s choice-Alfredo pasta. We had to take leftovers home cause the portions were massive, and I just had mine for lunch. I am not exaggerating when I say the food tasted even better the day after. We are very impressed and have found our next favourite spot. Thank you Daveen for making my husband s birthday dinner special .

Great steakhouse! I do wish theyd get rid of the hot stone, but the ventilation has greatly improved. On our most recent trip, we were served by Aman, who was fantastic.

The lady who served us food was lovely. Aman always checks on us and makes sure that we are enjoying the food. I can say that the steak is great and the portion is perfect! Id definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

If you expect a bougie date restaurant feeling that is not it. There is so much going on the water is not even cold. This is not a date night restaurant!! The steak was so bland and everything and it seem like the waitress don t know the difference between the steaks they serve but the pasta was worth it. Overpriced for the wrong reason, there is no difference in taste or anything. Don t order the steak if you know your food. Wait time is crazy even after having reservation!

Pros: This restaurant is among the best. My family and I are frequent visitors. The food is incredibly delicious. There are only a handful of restaurants that I truly enjoy dining at, and one of their locations in Brampton stands out exceptionally. The customer service is excellent, not outstanding but certainly great. The staff is very accommodating. Drawbacks: One issue is with parking. Being in the downtown area, its understandable. However, parking is free after 6 p.m (possibly 5 p.m.) across from the restaurant. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food justifies the expense, so I dont mind dining there.

Delicious food with great staff!

This is not what I would call a steakhouse. The ingredients are extremely low quality and not what you expect for the prices they charge. The steak is chewy and doesnt have flavour. The restaurant itself is not very clean or maintained. The bathrooms are dirty, restaurant is not high end like the prices are put. As a big steak eater - their meat is not good quality at all and I would not recommend it. Not to mention, serving steak on re-used cutting boards over and over is a really big hygienic problem, those cutting boards are full of bacteria. The service is very good and staff are very kind which was a plus. But overall, low quality ingredients do not match the prices they are charging.

Blackstones steaks are always amazing, we had the Chef s Special Striploin and 8oz steak on a stone tenderloin. Great experience, the taste is always amazing, taste better than most other steak spots, even better than STK and Harbor 60 It is alcohol free, Mississauga location looks better in my opinion.. Service: Took a really long time to get Karak Chai and Appetizers, while the location was not that busy Parking: what parking? Either park at LCBO or paid parking across the street

Blackstone is a bit of novelty for Halal steak. However the Mississauga location was too small. Haven t been to the Brampton location but they were very accommodating in helping with a reservation which we unfortunately had to cancel later on.

This place has amazing food and servers. Servers are aware of food allergies and take very good care of you, especially if you have allergies. Our server was Armaan, he did a great job. I went there on my birthday and tried their Herb chicken, its one of the best I ever had.

The worst dinning experience ever. Pre-ordered our food around 6:40 pm for a 7:15 pm reservation and we were served at around 8:30 pm. The waiters didnt even bother to let us know that our food would take long to be served. Considering they were taking pre-orders this was very unprofessional.

Hands down one of the most unique ways to eat a steak. I was looking for a steakhouse today and stumbled onto this place. I am so glad I stopped as this is one of the better steaks I have had and I am from Alberta so you know I know what I am talking about when it comes to steak. Ill definitely be checking this place out again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good was pretty good. Jerk Nachos were great. Beef burger was above average though the patty couldve been more juicy.

Change your hours to reflect your actual hours. Fix your washrooms. The stalls feel like Im in a third world country and the doors never close properly. They are absolutely filthy.

My family and I recently dined at this establishment and were thoroughly pleased with our experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, ranging from chicken and steak to a selection of pastas. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service we received was outstanding. Our server, Armaan, was notably courteous and displayed commendable initiative in recommending popular dishes that are favored by patrons. The ambiance of the restaurant was unassuming yet maintained a high standard of cleanliness.

We heard good things about this restaurant so we chose it to celebrate a 40th. Our reservation was Saturday evening at 7pm. We had no idea it was an alcohol free restaurant, so be warned if you are planning to go and want to drink with your dinner. Although disappointed with the no alcohol rule, it wasnt the end of the world for us. The issue was that after ordering drinks, it took them until our entrees arrived to bring them to us. We ordered a starter and still no drinks, even after asking several wait staff about it. We asked 4 times for our drinks. Drinks should be the first thing that comes out. My dad had a can of pop which took the longest. You dont even have to make that. So no excuses there. There was no apology and a clear lack of care for timing. The wait staff were in a rush upon taking our order, speaking quickly and rushing along. It was evident that they were very understaffed. In addition to this, our food was flavourless. We had ordered 2 steaks, jerk chicken and chicken parmigiana. The tomatoe sauce in the chicken parmigiano tasted as if it was straight out of a bottle, no seasoning and quite thick and clumpy. By the end of the meal we were desperate to get out and couldnt be bothered with dessert because everyone at the table was annoyed by this point. We were so disappointed with this experience and regret choosing it to celebrate such a huge birthday. Nothing was even acknowledged by management, no apology or anything. Would not recommend this restaurant at all. The food was average and service was extremely poor.

Armaan was our waiter and he was great. I thank him for his kindness. The experience as a whole was great considering I had 3 kids and a baby in a stroller which was nicely accommodated. We had the t-bone steak and I loved the sizzling Blackstone experience. Portion was exceptional and loved the sauces. I would definitely go back to try other items.

We went with friends, two of us ordered steaks on stones, two choosing other steak options. All 4 were delicious. This is a different option from the Keg, if youre looking for something different. The steaks on the Blackstones come medium cooked at most, but you can cook it further on the stone, if you like. Great experience, the service was fantastic. Well be back soon.

We have tried Stripoin steak and jerk chicken. Jerk chicken is so good and juicy, must try. Striploin steak is less tender but taste is better.

Cant give any stars because we didn t get any food or service, since they close a few hours earlier than posted closing time due to decline in business. & apparently they re reservations only, but it doesn t say it anywhere. So you should expect to show up well before closing and get kicked out, just like us. We literally drove out 35mins only to be kicked out. Terrible terrible business, will not be coming back!

We hosted my wifes 40th birthday at Blackstone and the staff made it a wonderful night. Chef Zeb took the time to speak and correspond by email any inquires about the menu and party room location. A special thanks to Harbeer and Owais who made sure everyone in our party (23 people) was taken care of. The food was awesome and I look forward to coming out again. Thank you!

Atmosphere and service was fine, food was not good at all. Steaks were not cooked properly, no curst or anything just fake grill marks to make it seem like its was grilled and not cooked evenly. For the price, youd expect better. Very disappointing experience, would not reccomend if youre looking to have steak.

The food was not good here. Burgers and chicken nuggets meat tasted like it was out of a frozen foods box. Everything was so overpriced with small portions. Not worth the money. Server was nice though.

I haven t been to this location in over 3 years, thought i d give it a try today. TERRIBLE. 1. Waiter is unclear about the menu 2. I ordered a tenderloin carved (not on the stone)- asked for it medium, seems like it was well done but the meat was grey not sure if they used an old piece of meat. (See picture) 3. Husbands rib eye on the stone tasted like old meat as well. 4. Spiced tenderloin bites awful and hard Overall would not come back to this location, save your money and go to Mississauga location or skip all together, we have better steak available in the GTA

This is my 2nd time visiting blackstone. And I LOVE it. I had the 8 Oz chef special tenderloin and key lime margarita. Both were DELICIOUS. Our server, Javeen was super sweet, provided great service and was patient with us.

We were a group of 13 people visited the Blackstone Steakhouse Brampton location. I was the only Indian in the group, so I decided to try the halal chicken for the first time, and it was delicious! My friends ordered the On the Rock steaks, which were also fantastic. This was my first visit, but it certainly wont be my last. Our server, Abhishek, was incredibly helpful and recommended the best dishes. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

This place never disappoints. This is our go-to place now for any family occasion. We ordered the habanero chicken steaks, and they were delicious. Will be going back again soon for sure.

We came all the way from Montreal just to try this Steakhouse since it s halal. The nachos are a must have, so delicious and full of flavour. We ordered 2 steaks and it was mouth watering. The service was very nice. We called because we were going to be late & Aman who answered the phone was so helpful & kind. Our waiter Armaan gave us incredibly service and recommendations for the steak. We tried the Ribeye & Tenderloin. Overall Armaan and the staff were so polite and made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely come back when we re in Toronto

I had an amazing dining experience at Blackstone Steakhouse! Abhishek provided great customer service! He was very polite and took the time to answer all our questions concerning the menu. We ordered the Rib-eye 12 oz, and the braised short rib! Very tasty and good portion size!! Overall good value for price. We also ordered strawberry daiquiris and they were delicious . My husband and I went for a dinner here, and we had a great experience! The food was great and Prabhjot gave us exceptional service! We had butterfly shrimp as an appetizer and carved steak for the main, chocolate mousse for dessert, and they were all excellent!

Last time we visited was in fall of 2021 Best steak in Brampton. Their chicken is also delicious. Great for those who love extra flavourful food. It is an alcohol free/halal setting so I wish they had more variety to their drink options to complement their food. The service is so so. Multiple people will check in with you while youre eating but when you need them so you can pay and go, no one is around for an uncomfortably long time. If youre coming for the first time try finding a close public parking spot and walk over. There used to be a parking lot in front but its was nearly always full and you have to cross the street to get to the restaurant. Nearly impossible to park there in winter (if this parking lot still exists). The entrance is very narrow you might not be able to find the location because its almost consealed. Just look for the big hanging sign. Parking: Youll have to find a public parking lot close by and walk over. I think their front entrance has a step so I dont think it is wheelchair accessible.

I ve never actually been successful at getting a reservation here - and it makes sense because their food is so good! I ve tried a few times to come dine in and they are always booked, so I decided that I would do takeout, and boy - do I wish I did this sooner! The steak was SO good!! I got the 10oz striploin steak that just melted in my mouth, the flavours and sauces were just excellent!! I highly recommend this place

The taste of food is so delicious that anyone can suggest to eat next time. This scent isnt overpowering and you will usually have to place your nose very close to smell it when the smell comes your mouth is full of water. The sevice provided by PRABHJOT were so good and everything was on time and well cooked.

We had a large group, however Sarang was extremely patient and dealt with our orders smoothly. The food was great. One recommendation is to probably renovate the washrooms as they are quite outdated. Overall, good experience and great staff!

Love the place and food...however, not all the food on menu is available. I requested paella not available. Then pizza, they said available only in mississauga location. Maybe remove on the menu? Steak on stone is if you only want rare steak so ended up on chefs carved steak...food is very good though... Parking: Have to go on the other side of the street for parking which is paid if coming on weekday day time as there is no onsite parking.

Staff is always friendly and greet you right away - food is always consistent and good. Would recommend forsure
