Very bad chicken curry. I rarely write -ve reviews but it was really bad. Too much oil and roasted chicken pieces were added in the gravy. It was very very dry......Guys please maintain your quality as you were good in the past. I ordered through Uber eats and had to throw half.

WORST RESTAURANT IN BRAMPTON. Just had dinner and the place was almost empty even on weekend. Service was super slow, frustrated staff and the Cocktails were awful- a glass full of ice and tap water. They made us sit at the side corner where air conditioner was at its lowest and started serving the people who came after us. Didn t even ask for water. No hospitality and courtesy in asking whether we were ready for order. They are way way way costly than ever. I would say a big no for this place. Overall, a very disappointing experience. NEVER GO TO ANOKHI

It was a casual lunch with my son. We didn t order many items. It was Nalli Nihari and Naan with it. Portion of Nihari was quite good for 2 people and it was tasty too. Garlic naan was mouthwatering. It s a little pricey though. I wanted to taste the cocktails but didn t have much time for that. Maybe next time. Good service.

This is not about service, we Paid $100 no let s just say we wasted $100 for food which was not nothing but a joke and we didn t even take out as it was not even eatable, About appetizers: we ordered Samosa Chaat(which was just samosa-2 and on top they put chhole and diced onions). Also ordered Dahi puri, it was not even stuffed also the just 5 puri which was not even stuffed half way, maybe 1/5 spoon dahi. Ordered tomato soup it was good enough. For main dish ordered Paneer Makhhanwala: dish didn t have salt at all, tasteless as well garlic naan was very very bad in taste left half of our food there, not going come here again as well as not going to recommend this even gonna tell people that if you are going there do not go as they only spent money on nice interior but food was -0/10 Service was good but rather than nope never not coming back, it s an Indian fine diner restaurant but taste was worst. Vegetarian options: Also ordered Dahi puri(A joke) and Samosachaat(which was samosa and then top of that they put chhole.)

We went with friends, and the food was amazing quality ingredients and great service. However, the atmosphere could use improvement. The vibe was off, with flickering lights in the washroom and an unmaintained bar area, which took away from the overall experience.

Never pick up phone I tried to order by phone tried to call them multiple times from multiple phones but no luck. All the best callers and its not the first time. Very disappointed management should look why phone number listed is not working might be too busy.

While the food was good, the waitress was very pushy. Our order was simple: chicken tikka masala and an order of garlic naan. She tried to convince us to place two naan orders, when it was just two of us and each order was very large. She also pushed us to order an appetizer when we really didnt want or need one. When I ordered a glass of chardonnay, she asked what kind, but the menu doesnt specify which kind. It just says chardonnay. When she brought us the bill, she said the tip had to be paid in cash or else she wouldnt receive any of it. All I had was a USD $20, and felt strong armed into giving it to her, so she got a 35% tip. She then asked us to write a review, and said we had to write it right now. So, heres my review, 2 days later. I guess I didnt follow her last piece of advice too closely.

Disgusting Experience - Stay Far Away! I had the misfortune of dining at the TRIP ADVISORs 4th Best Indian restaurant in Brampton, and it was an absolute nightmare. I wouldnt wish this experience on my worst enemy. First and foremost, we discovered a BUG floating in our water. Yes, you read that correctly a BUG! Its beyond comprehension how such a blatant violation of hygiene standards could occur in a restaurant that claims to be among the best. The sight of that insect ruined our appetite, and it left us feeling nauseated and disgusted. But thats not the worst part. When we brought this issue to the attention of the manager, she chose to ignore us completely. We waited for her to come to our table and address the problem, but she never bothered to show up. Its as if our concerns were beneath her notice. The sheer arrogance and apathy displayed by the manager were shocking and inexcusable. Feeling frustrated and ignored, we finally had to approach her ourselves. When we did, she couldnt be bothered to offer a genuine apology or any sort of reassurance. Instead, she brushed off our complaint as if it were inconsequential. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly appalling. Its abundantly clear that this establishment cares more about its reputation than the well-being and satisfaction of its patrons. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy, let alone a friend or family member. In conclusion, save yourself the disappointment, the risk to your health, and the rude treatment from the manager by avoiding this so-called Indian restaurant at all costs. There are plenty of other options in Brampton that offer both quality food and decent customer service. This place is a disgrace to the culinary scene in Brampton, and I hope they rectify their appalling standards soon.

I recently dined at Anokhi Indian Restaurant, a place where Ive enjoyed good food in the past, but sadly, this visit did not live up to expectations. The quality of the food was average, and the service was disappointingly slow. The waitstaff seemed inattentive, forgetting basic items like cutlery, water, and glasses, which significantly detracted from the experience. The portion sizes for the main courses were smaller than expected, and some of the dishes left much to be desired. I would definitely recommend avoiding the Karahi Paneer; it lacked original flavour and was quite bland. The rotis were not properly cooked and tasted raw even when we requested crispy while ordering. However, I must say that the Dal Anokhi (dal makhani) was a standout and the only highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, given the decline in food quality, service, and portion sizes, I dont see myself returning to Anokhi. Its a shame because it used to be one of my go-to spots. Sorry, but this place has lost its charm for us.

went for dinner to Anokhi last evening in my way from Bell fountain to North york. Staff was nice. There was a bit mixup with order but that was ok. Although it was with very few people there at restaurant that time. We ordered gobi manchurian and it was fairly ok (3/5). Then came butter paneer and it was so salty you cant even put it in mouth. I asked the server to taste it once. She took it back and possibly added some water and came back with it. This time the consistency dropped and it was thin and watery. We had ordered Chicken biriyani. It was rubbery and complete tasteless. I , myself making biriyani and butter chicken from last few years at home. Never cooked anything this bad. How could professional cook can cook such disgusting food. honestly Guys, move around in Toronto in some restaurants and you can understand where you stand. If you need some references , do reply and I can tag you restaurants you can taste. Only having nice staff would not pull crowd. You need to make good food.

I recently visited Anokhi and was disappointed by the owners (or managers) behavior. While in the waiting area, I heard them using abusive language with the employees , which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite the food being good, such unprofessional conduct negatively impacted my overall experience. I hope the management addresses this issue and treats their staff with more respect.

Last year, We came here, the food was so delicious. Their paneer tikka was unbeatable in gta. Today, we went there to eat and were so disappointed. All the food we ordered was terrible. I am sure the cook has changed.

very disappointed with take out service. i called so many times but no one was answering the call for takeout. It was my wife s birthday, then we decided to dine in as we were 5 people, i called to reserve a table for us but no one answered my call again. It was veryyy inconvenient for us and wasted our alot of time. Very dissatisfied Will never call and go

Food quality is good but service is absolutely not upto the mark. They only have one person taking orders from everyone, as a result we had to wait almost 20+ minutes each time we would see the order taking server. Of course the place is expensive, so make sure your pockets are filled up before having a grand party at this place and be ready to wait to be served.
