Taste so normal. Could've been lot better. We went twice but they are too consistent in giving normal taste. Neatness is not that good. We had to leave the food and left as the taste wasn't that good. One thing I can tell, the person who served is really good in overall experience.
I ordered on uber eats and this is the portion i get by paying 22.50 dollars. If you can't afford to give the proper portion in buy one get one free then don't advertise it. We do understand your situations just give one proper portion so we can say yeah our money is worth it. Thank you!
Think twice before ordering from them. If you order 2 amritsari kulcha and 2 aalo prantha, what will you get? Just a cup of curd and mint sauce with heavy dipped breads with full of oil. You would need to find stuffing inside them with full dedication. I wanted to give you zero Star. I ordered gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian through Uber eats and spent $13 for it, but can you let me know what kind of gobi Manchurian is it????? Just boiled gobi and put gravy on it....is it your gobi Manchurian?? Please don't make the people fool. I am really really disappointed and I willi never order anything again from this restaurant which simply doesn't know how to make gobi Manchurian. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. The food was stale as well and it was so so smelly..... The flavor was off, and it felt like a completely different dish altogether. I am very let down by the quality. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make some improvements.
We are Punjabi customers n the staff refused to speak or understand Punjabi.we ordered salad but it came at the end of the dinner. More one they refused to listen us n said we can’t speak in Punjabi you have to speak in English……the food was so delicious but due to poor service they just forced us to not to come again. We told them to call their owner but they refused to do dat to. If we paying 150$ for the food and we get this cheap service, guess should not come for dine in here. We just left king tandoori for this but nahh that’s not done n how restaurants work they didn’t even gave us spoon to eat desserts.

Visited Friday night and they had live music. Ruined my whole experience. It was too loud, I could barely hear what my partner was saying. The lead singer was average and on top of that, she kept inviting other guests to sing. No offence, but it was a torture. The other guests were roaming around the restaurant as if they were in a park. Probably some large gathering going on, but I felt that it wasn't fair to other guests. The food was good, quantity could have been better!

The food was so good. I tried pani puri along with dahi bhalla. It was go great and I recommend everyone to visit
The food was absolutely disgusting. Ordered the chicken sushi, daal makhni and chicken malai kofta with garlic naan which came to a $64 bill. The quality of food is so poor. The chicken malai kofta was literally 4 pieces of chicken which was cold and not cooked properly in a bowl of soup. This was not gravy it was literally soup. The naan looked store bought not fresh at all. And the chicken sushi smelled like it has gone bad. I wanted to walk out but I felt bad for the server because she was trying her best to make us feel welcome. Please change your chef and improve your quality. And it s funny how the owner only replies to good reviews and makes no effort in refunding or even addressing the bad ones. If you re owning a restaurant do it the right way!

I went to celebrate my daughter s birthday. It was a wonderful experience as my son & nephew ordered a zombie drink which came with a sound and light effect and Pani puri was served in a spinning wheel . Kids were really happy and they enjoyed this different experience . Our attendant simar patiently listened and gave us exceptional service . Food was good and atmosphere was totally filmy as expected.
Ordered butter chicken and naan on UberEats and received unseasoned tomato sauce with chunks of chicken and naan that was so stale and hard. Not a very good experience.

This has to be worst place cz if they cant cook chana masala correctly they cant do anything i ordered amritsri kulcha with chana masala and this is the straight up water and chane like add some spices and onion or something , i have visited many restaurants but no one have done this wrong
Food was way below average. We ordered same curry one by one and both had different taste. Environment is blend and dishes were also dirty. Asked for water and different types of glasses both times, weird. The service is extremely slow and took our 2 hours and had to change our other plans. Not recommended. It may be good for take out but dont waste your money dining in.

I tried many restaurants in Brampton but Filmy Tadka is the best in town. I am totally impressed with team customer service skills, especially with the food quality and quantity. The team is really professional as they followed my instructions clearly and they are punctual with time as well. Most recommended.

Very nice place I have been coming here for 2 yrs. And never had a complaint. Something unique about them was laknawi dingri which is a awadhi dish. You don t normally find UP dishes in Canada but unfortunately they discontinued it. One suggestion is to add some non Punjabi mughlai dishes as not many restaurants in Canada serve it. My server was Simar and she is excellent at her job

It was my mom s birthday .. they allowed me with a cake from the outside and plus they surprised my mom with a slice of cake. The food was good! Disgusting food. I have ordered there veg noodle burger and there were no onions, no tomatoes and even the noodles were not cooked properly no taste no presentation. On the top of that the bread of the burger was tasting like its been expired.

Poor experience over all. Ordered chicken biryani and my friend ordered Szechuan noodles. Took sometime and my friend s food arrived and I waited another 20 minutes or so then the waitress comes out saying your biryani was burnt. Can I get you something else! I said no, we ate my friend s food and left. What a disappointment

My wife and I loved the food at Filmy Tadka Indian Cuisine! The Kadai Chicken was perfectly spiced, the Daal Makhni rich and creamy, and the Goat Biryani was packed with flavor and tender meat. Every dish was excellent highly recommend for an authentic and delicious meal!
The food was great. Simar made sure to make us feel like home . Chicken sushi was the best and don t forget their Gulab jamun with vanilla Ice cream.
I drove all the way from Kitchener due to the hype around this place, but it was a letdown. We ordered the veg sushi, which was just okay, but the service was painfully slow. We waited nearly 35 minutes just to place our order, and it was hard to get the server s attention even though the restaurant was busy. Another major issue was the cleanliness our table and plates were dirty, which is a huge red flag. If you want to run a successful restaurant, you need more staff and better hygiene practices. I definitely don t recommend this place.

Went there today and I was surprised by the unique flavours. They had paneer sushi which I ve never had before and it was delicious, their gol gapay were top notch. They had amazing chai. Im so particular about chai so it was a great surprise. The family run business is a cozy spot to try some Mumbai food. I would recommend their chicken waffle & their gulam jamin aswell. Do visit this spot for a uplifting taste buds experience.

Fantastic food. Their spice balancing was impeccable. Kulwinder was very helpful and suggested all the dishes suitable to our tastebuds. The mild food was mild and still flavourful. Loved it. 90s Bollywood songs added another level of nostalgia.
This place is truly impressive. Not only is the food exceptional, particularly the vegetarian sushi and garlic naan, but the ambiance also has a cinematic charm. I appreciate the unique presentation of the pani puri, and the hospitality from the staff is top-notch.

Updated - 2024-Oct We recently visited Filmy Tadka and they have maintained the quality. Mac n cheese pakora & Lasooni saag were good. Unique food presentation and taste! Kids loved the panipuri wheel and chilli paneer sushi. Lasooni saag and paneer tikka were good but spice level was on the higher side even though we said medium. The best part was the service- our waitress Kulvinder checked on us frequently and even got my daughter yogurt when she said it was spicy. Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options and starters

Worst food i ever had in my life
I don t have high expectations ordering Indian food from Brampton but I figured I would give this place a try. The butter chicken did not taste or look anything like butter chicken. The naan were chewy and looked undercooked. Lacha paratha was harder than cardboard. Only thing tasty was the mango shake.
I would never recommend this place it has one of most tasteless food. And so much annoying environment.
I had the worst experience ever. The food they served was not at all fresh and felt like it was all pre cooked and frozen. Additionally, we ordered 10 chaas(buttermilk) and it was soo bad, stale and too much salty. Everything was half cooked and onions were also raw. Almost wasted around 250$ and it was not at all worth it. Would not recommend it to anyone at all.

On Kulwinder s recommendation we tried chilly paneer sushi. It was astonishing. What a fusion between two cultures. It s like Japan married India. And Kulwinder was so hospitable that I felt like I m eating at my dinner table.
Dropped by for some lunch and really enjoyed the food. I ordered the Lucknowi Dingri and my friend got the Chana Kulcha. Both dishes were really well done and tasted delicious. Service was fantastic as well. The only thing missing today was some background music in the restaurant.
We enjoyed the food. If you want to try different options with Indian touch, this restaurant is the go to. Will visit again.

Worst food that i have ever eaten.. they didn t cook food well either they left the food half uncooked or they just burn the food today i ordered dal makhni with naan and tandori roti i found the naan in very bad appearance and it was not cooked properly they didn t know the cooking i think owner has to change the staff in the kitchen because it is going to ruin your customers i will suggest never buy from here i literally don t eat the stuff i wasted my money over them never going to order from there.
