We ordered few things - chat papdi (decent in taste) , aloo tikki (not crispy but okiesh), dal makhani (the consistency was watery & taste was not at all good) Sahi Paneer (Okiesh not as good as competitors), lachha paratha (not up to the level), Pav Bhaji (very much pathetic) and Chole Bature (the quality has downgraded) i dont know why the quality and taste is getting sacrificed. Our lunch was spoiled with such a back food. The only thing we had was water because food was not at all good.
This was our first time visiting kesar. We order mutter paneer, samosa chaat, chana kulcha. The mutter tasted really odd, the gravy wasn’t upto the mark, and the taste was bad as well. It tasted sour. But the chana kulcha and samosa chaat were really good! It tasted very well. Other than these, we had to wait for a really long time and when asked about the menu and food we weren’t attended quite well. The ambiance was pleasant. Overall a thik thak experience.

I visited this popular vegetarian restaurant in Brampton on a Saturday evening. After waiting for 15 mins, we got the table. We ordered: 1. Chole Bhature: 5/5 > Simply delicious. Bhature weren’t too much oily. Chole were tasty. Served with Raita and pyaaz. 2. Tandoori Gobhi Paratha: 5/5 > Must have. Never eaten such a good paratha in Toronto. Served with Curd and butter. 3. Hara bhara kebab: 5/5 > Superb. Green chutney was also delicious. There were 7 pieces. 4. Dahi puri: 5/5 > Again superb. There were 7 pieces. Filling was perfect. Overall, all the items were simply delicious. The service is bit slow and could be better. The ambience was also very nice. I would definitely come again and try their kulchas.
After traveling all the way from New York, I was eager to experience the highly recommended Punjabi cuisine at Kesar restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Known for its authentic and flavorful dishes, Canada truly shines when it comes to Punjabi food, and Kesar stands out for its incredible offerings. I tried their paratha and chole bhature, and they were simply amazing. The paratha was soft, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection, while the chole bhature had the right balance of richness and tanginess, offering that comforting taste of home-style Punjabi cooking. What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality of two lovely staff members, Baban and Jasmin. Their warm and friendly service elevated the meal and made me feel right at home. A big shoutout to both of them for going the extra mile in ensuring that every guest was well taken care of. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the fantastic team of cooks and chefs working behind the scenes to deliver such authentic and delicious food. The entire experience was enhanced by the lively ambiance, with Kirant music playing in the background, which really added to the vibe of the restaurant. If you’re ever in Canada and craving authentic Punjabi cuisine, Kesar is definitely a place worth visiting. Whether it’s the food or the warm hospitality, you’ll leave with a full heart and a satisfied stomach.
Very bad, from long time I was trying to come to your store and buy some sweets as I really love rasgulla and gulab jamun, yesterday I went to the store, I asked lady that are these fresh ?? She said yes of course, All rasgullas were infront of me, but I saw her coming from the kitchen with a box that has some rasgullas in it. I said may be they have more here thats y she brought from back. Then she put gulab jamun and other sweets from front counter. Butt!!! When I came home I noticed she put the old and dry one rasgullas which you guys have in the kitchen. It has bad taste as well. Very shameful. That big store and you guys sell old one to customers. Am very disappointed.
The food of that place is mouthwatering. We had a great experience with lovepreet kaur, she attend us very well and she is too polite. I love her way of providing customer service. Overall the food, atmosphere and service is extremely good.
I’ve recently ordered from Kesar Sweet and Restaurant and ordered the Kesar Special Thali. The thali included three vegetables, rayta, rice, a piece of gulab jamun, and naan. The specific items in our thali were Paneer Pasanda (I believe), Malai Chaap, and Makhani Daal. The Paneer and Malai Chaap were quite good, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the Makhani Daal was very average and did not stand out. Everything else in the thali was okay but not exceptional. Additionally, we ordered a Vegetable Pulao, which tasted good and was well-cooked. Unfortunately, the lemonade was disappointing—it tasted like it was made from artificial syrups and lacked freshness. I would not recommend ordering it. Overall, our experience was okay. Some dishes were enjoyable, but there were also some misses.

I ordered shahi paneer last night, but I was disappointed to find it was just a watery gravy lacking any real flavor. The masala was uncooked and had a bitter taste, which was quite unappetizing. The naans were difficult to chew.

Yesterday around 9pm i ordered 6 tiffens but when i opened it and figured out 2 tiffins rotis are missing. It was 10 rotis short. It was my first time but was really disappointed with service.

Went for lunch in hopes to put a catering order after trying their thali but was unimpressed. The thali was very mediocre. The three dishes we ordered were very basic and the taste was somewhat off. Paneer lababdar was awful, the malai kofta was decent. We also had their Dahi puri which was good. When we initially placed our order I also ordered a mango lassi.. which never showed up. And when I guess the girls saw it on the bill they said ohhh there is a delay in preparation of mango lassi so I ll take it off the bill. Unorganized mess!

Hi, Im the customer of Kesar since Jan 2022. I visited almost each month with friends, family. Yesterday, they really disappointed us as a family. We went there for dinner having 2 families with me. We order food and they told us that it will take 15 mints but we get the food after 35 mints wait. 2nd, the food was not warm as everyone expected from a good resturant like Kesar and was cold. 3rd, the staff has been changed. The reason might be they opened up the 2nd new location. The best people is not there for now. Important Note- 4th, The quality of food is now really down as which is not accecptable and non- nogotiable bec we are paying as per market standard. Food was not as tasty, Might be they just shift the chefs or might be they assign the new people for making veggies. Even though when I ask the server that you cheff has been changed due to this your taste is chmaged and she was just smiling with soft faces and I can imagine that we are might be right. 5th yes indeed, server had accepted that staff is bit changed that the reason the services are compromised. 6th- the quantity is reduced like if you are ordering malai kofta a large bowl they will give u 6 bowl which is unfair 7th, we order desert ( Rasmalai) and we order 4 plates. First, they come with 2 plates and after waiting for 5 mints when we ask like what about other 2 plates and they were clue less and said gives us 3-4 mints, when they come with rasmalai and we were surprised that one Rasmalai in small thermocol cup and one in regular bowl that is speechless infront of family. Overall, very disppointed visit specilly when I visited with my family and with In-Laws. I just can say to Wake up guyz its not too late. We want to come again but not like this way. Now there are tons of new resturants there with quality of food.

I usually dont leave reviews, but Kesar Sweets Hurrantario location truly deserves one. From the moment we walked in, the food exceeded all expectations everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail and the quality of the food were outstanding. We ordered the butter naan, shahi paneer malai kofta, and daal makhani. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold and tasteless, with an unpleasant smell. The naan was also not good . To make matters worse, the customer service was extremely poor. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went there to buy sweets for my family and friends. I bought 4 small boxes of sweets ( gulab jamun) . Each box contains 8 gulab jamun . When i had to pay the bill , they charge me 82 $. Its to much for small boxes. They should be ashamed to charging to high on the special occasion. When i asked the cashier why its to much , she said we charge according to the weight. 0 customer service.

Ordered manchurian which had too much ketchup in it and momos were worst, filling tasted stale. Didn t even eat the momos and asked them to take it away. Still had to pay for it though!!! I had an amazing experience at Kesar Sweets and Restaurants in Brampton! , Jasmeen, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was perfect. The quality of their food is now zero . I ordered a nutree kulcha and they are giving us a curry of aloo nutree. They are selling anything and giving them a name of a good dish. Staff was really good but I am sure that the cook here choose a wrong career option .
