My go to dosa spot. Staff are very attentive kept asking if anything else was needed. They recommended madras special dosa. Was very nicely spiced. All of the chutney were fresh and complimented the dosa. Coconut chutney was nice and cool and nice consistency not watered down or runny at all. The sambar was hot and it was fresh. The veggie pieces inside were firm but tender so you know it's fresh. It wasn't mushy like some places because it gets old. I usually start off with idly vada combo but wasn't that hungry today. However they are also always spot on. Idly are nice and soft and vada crispy outside steamy soft inside. Highly recommend trying this place. Note no halal meats here, but lots of veggie options.

Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews, as our experience was good. A friend who eats here regularly took my other friend and me to try their dosas. She said she always has a good experience whenever she goes. We ordered 3 different dosas to share, and we enjoyed all of them. I usually order the standard masala dosa, so this was a nice change. We got the Madras Special Masala Dosa, the Mysore Masala Dosa and the Chetttinadu Kara Masala Dosa. I liked all 3, and appreciated the amount of potato inside. I've noticed that other dosa places have really reduced the amount of filling, so this was a nice change. The chutneys were ok, but the sambar was one of the best I've had. The server was polite, the food came out quickly, and the prices are reasonable. If I'm in the area again, I will go back.

I recently visited Madras Restaurant and had an amazing dosa experience! I tried their Chettinadu Kara Masala Dosa, and it was absolutely delicious crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the perfect balance of flavors. The spiced potato filling was flavorful without being too heavy, and it paired wonderfully with the tangy sambar and refreshing coconut chutney.

We had an amazing experience with Madras Restraunt. We have requested catering for our house warming ceremony in Hamilton. Their food is amazing and it reflects in richness of its flavours. All my guests were very satisfied with the food. They have lot of verieties in their menu and quite affordable.

The dosa at Madras Restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, it s everything you d want in an authentic South Indian dosa. The portion size is generous, and it s served with a delicious trio of chutneys and flavorful, tangy sambar that complement it perfectly.

Ordered idly vada, was so disappointed, the vadas were stale hard and greasy, burnt and over done. It was packed in a styrofoam box that had melted into the vada. I think 1 star is overrated.

I would recommend this place if you are in mood for some nice south indian food owth homely and personal touch. We order bhaji dosa, vada and chicken biryani. The vada was so crispy and delicious. And they made bhaji dosa as per my request, bhaji and onion on side with dosa little crispy.. it was perfect. My husband has chicken biryani and he loved the salan (gravy) servered with it..
