Came in the evening on a Wed. Not busy at all with only one other table just getting their food. Pleased my order, asked for the Chaat as the appetizer. Was told it would be 5-7 min for the Chaat. Waited 40 min with nothing coming out. Rang the bell and was told it will be another 5-7 min. I asked why it is taking over 40 min, she said oh you already ordered ? I left to go dine at a place that doesn t forget to place the order in the kitchen.

I got the butter chicken and chicken biryani which looked great and flavour was ok but the quality of the food and it being cooked was poor not even 2 hours later eating(not finished) I started to get food poisoning. Lots of vomiting and sickness that isn t what I wanted to expect in my day. My recommendation is to prepare n cook the food longer

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The chicken tikka was amazing. I never had Indian food this good before. Masala choaap and malai choaap was excellent! The rice was cooked very well and you could tell it was freshly made. The food was fresh and they had great service! I would highly recommend to others! Vegetarian options: They had a good amount of vegetarian options and was definitely not one sided when it came to variety of foods.

I ordered from Taste of Punjab through Uber Eats I drive by this establishment from work during the week and kept saying I wanted to try it ! And I did I was disappointed the Palak Paneer tasted as if it was burnt, and very very little paneer. The Vegetable Birani was way over spiced and the vegetables were veggies you buy at the grocery store frozen. I definitely will not be ordering or going there in the future. Truly disappointed considering I love Indian food

Food was very bad , we ordered channa bhatura and paneer naan with channa . Read so good reviews so came to experience specially from london ontario and it was nothing but disappointment as bhatura s felt like frozen are heated , channa were just full of spices but no flavour

Good taste of Punjabi cuisine with good service. Had tawa roties, pannier saag, poori and chicken leg. Was not disappointed. We had been on a Sunday noon with decent crowd.

2 Stars for the management for not hiring adequate staff - there was 1 woman serving 20 customers at once. This has happened on multiple instances but they wont put another person on payroll to serve tables. Management greed is unreal. Food is good, ambience is good, servers are quite friendly. Just trash management.

It s for the 4-5th time I am visiting this place for breakfast and then for brunch and this is THE BEST Indian restaurant I ve been to in terms of food, quantity, quality and price. Tried their all type of pranthas,tandoori chicken and palak paneer. Very fair pricing. Excellent customer service. Aarti is the sweetest employee they have. Incredible chef This is going to be my to go place from now on. Not like other Indian restaurants in Brampton, overhyped with no actual Indian taste. I liked that they have an actual Tawa roti for 0.99 cents only whereas same Tawa roti at Raunak restaurant at Bovaird is for 2.99 which make no sense to me.

It was our frequently visited place for few years as this was simple, humble Punjabi Restaurant which stuck to its core discipline of food. Simplicity, Quality Ingredients and Authentic Taste... With our recent Visit, we found few items were good, but few were bit odd. Tandoori Roti and Curry were good, but they served us a stale chutney.. Also interestingly we only see few young kids managing the entire restaurant and Owners were never to be seen. I hope this will not go downhill like other famous places within Brampton Indian Food circle, which ended up in Disaster.

This restaurant used to be one of the best restaurants if you want to eat homemade style food. Original owners sold it couples of years ago. Afterwards, quality and service has gone down drastically. Although place was renovated but neither service is good nor food. It seems like the present owner doesnt care at all for this restaurant.

We were on a sight seeing tour of Canada, and were staying in Mississauga. Just decided to try this place, it was well worth it. The food was served piping hot, the naans were fresh and crisply done, the chicken Tikka masala was delicious, so was the Channa Amritsari. The food is prepared fresh daily, thats why its good.

This restaurant used to be good but now it s not. Ordered butter chicken, shrimp curry, Kandhari paneer, garlic naan and plain naan. Taste was very bad, quantity was less and naan were so chewable. Not going back again also took almost 50 mins to prepare the food.

Yesterday, we had take out from Taste of Punjab Restaurant. My wife is one of the best cooks in our family and we rarely dine out. We were quite apprehensive of food quality but took a chance since we had short-notice guests at home. The food was exceptionally good with just adequate spices . The chapatis were so soft and gave a homely look. All guests were very happy with the meal presuming it to be cooked by my wife. When they learnt the truth, they all are planning to book table for 12 this Sunday at Taste of Punjab. Congrats and best wishes to the Chef and management of Taste of Punjab. We catered for 50 people and the food was exceptional! Everyone gave tons of compliments and really enjoyed the butter chicken, bindi and Shahi paneer! We recommend Taste of Punjab for all your catering needs. Its our new go to spot for Indian Food!

Come on guys you can do better than this . I ordered paneer bhurji and dal makhni for take out . I m a truck driver so i asked for fresh sabjis and they said yes everything is fresh . Went there based on reviews and was in for a shock. All the food we ordered was undercooked. It seems that they were in a rush to get the orders out hence did not bother with the quality of their dishes. We ended up discarding the entire order as everything was inedible due to the raw taste.

This is some of the best Punjabi food I ve ever had. It takes a bit of time to prepare but it is definitely worth the wait. If you want fast food this isn t the place for you. If you want freshly made food with the perfect balance of flavor and texture then you must eat here.

I visit the taste of punjab multiple time. It the best place to visit if you want a budget friendly food with authentic home+ dhaba style food. Moreover the employee are super friendly. I always come here for the butter chicken, Ive tried many other places but nothing compares to the rich taste and flavor full sauce that they make here. Consistency is key and these guys are killing it. Keep it up guys

Tried this place the other day as we were in the area. We ordered chicken Korma and a paneer curry with Naan bread. Wow! Their food is the worst I ve tasted! literally gave us stringy chicken and disgusting tasting paneer dish. Pretty much, food was bathing in a bunch of gravy that was tasteless. It seemed like they just added chicken and paneer to the same gravy and separated in two dishes! Their naan was undercooked and doughy! Just awful- waste of 65$ and our guest hated it too! No one finished it at the end of the night! we were embarrassed to have brought by horrible food for ppl. Don t go here- no excuse for their horrible food!

Don t let the vibe of the place ruin your expectations. The food is really good and most of all affordable. We had chole bature, aloo tikki chaat, chicken tikka, gajjar ka halwa and salt lassi. Everything was great.

I took my tiffin for whole week ( truck driver ) I used to pick food from them from last 2 years. But now I am leaving this resturant forever. I know they dont even bother if someone come or left. Veg curries are awesome... Taste is like home made food. Service is super slow... I ordered veg chicken (chaap) which was very good and tasted as if someone prepared at home kitchen. Tawa rotis again were home. Veg biryani was super spicy in spite of requesting mild spicy. The chef here needs to balance out your flavours. If you are missing home, have roti and curry here and if you want some rich cuisine restaurant like meals...this shouldnt be your go to place.
