La Pergola Ristorante in Brampton

Our first visit to La Pergola was a beautiful surprise. We always stay at the Monte Carlo when traveling but have never eaten there. Well, all that has now changed. The food was absolutely great. Collette, our waitress, was a pure gem. She made our eating experience so much fun using subtle humour to get us relaxed and in the mood for a truly memorable evening. From now on, La Pergola will be our restaurant of choice whenever we travel out of Toronto. The food was amazing. The waitress was a joy to behold. Thank you Monte Carlo. Thank you Collette.

The food was ok it wasnt like east side marios good I thought it could have been better and the waitress has issues she made me and my guest feel very uncomfortable asking us alot of personal questions saying weird jokes I will never come to this place had to ask for new Utensils Because. The ones on the table were dirty stay away from this place

We order every few weeks from La Pergola via Uber Eats. Everything is always perfect. When we go in for dinner at the restaurant - Collette is amazing. She takes care of you and ensures you have an amazing life experience! The food here is so good!

Very bad place dont go there I was there with my mother in the afternoon and there was old lady there in the restaurant and she comes to serve us I was sitting by my chair outside the table she shout on me dont set like this people will not be able to walk between the 2 tables I told her the restaurant is empty she said people will come now I start to get nervous and I shout on her saying I never see like this I went to many restaurants in Canada no body have treat me like this she got angry saying you dont have to shout on me I said we are. Not a students in a school and she went to make our order when she arrived I say to her I am sorry but the wicked women says to me next time I will bunch you on your face and she but the dishes and in the end when I was paying she says to me I have add 12 % because you have shout on me. Dont go there she is crazy and I will till the manager all about her

My Wife and I decided to try this place as we are always looking for our new favorite place to eat. We left very full and satisfied. Server was very pleasant and checked on us often. Food was to perfection. Veal with penne and spaghetti and meatballs. Espresso was good. The jalapeno poppers were delicious, the best I have had. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

My family and I recently dined at La Pergola, and we were fortunate to have Collette as our server. From the start, she made us feel at home with her warm and welcoming demeanor. We ordered nachos and onion rings on the side, and Collette ensured everything was perfect from the crispiness of the onion rings to the generous toppings on the nachos. Vegetarian options: 5 options with the ability to have more if you decide to remove meat from order. They have a veggie burger

We came from Montreal looking for good Italian restaurants in Toronto and this by far was one of the best. We ended up trying out the seafood linguini and were pleasantly surprised at how amazing their pasta sauce was.. along with a generous amount of seafood they added to it. If we are ever in Toronto again we will be definitely be returning. Since the restaurant is located inside the Monto Carlo inn, it gives a very warm and cozy vibe especially on rainy days. Collette was also very pleasant to talk to and made us feel at home!

We had a wonderful dinner thanks to our oh so personable, funny & entertaining server, Collette. She guided us to great food & wine choices & made our dinner experience very enjoyable!! We ate lunch here and the food is better than other places. We got the steak (medium) and chicken and let me tell you, it s like wedding food only better. Superb! Service is great as well. She is the only one working and we were a party of 19 and she put it out of the park! Atmosphere is like any of those expensive restaurants. Decor and ambience is good. It s nice a cozy spot. If you are in the area, you should try their food. Say hi to Colette :)

Simply Splendid

The entire experience was great. Being a hotel restaurant, I was a little skeptical, but the food was honestly great. My friend got the lamb chop with shrimp and I got the seafood linguini. We both loved our meals. Colette, the waitress, was hilarious and extremely kind. Would absolutely eat here again!

This little Italian restaurant is a a nice unexpected find. It was our 2nd visit. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented but . the true gem of the place is Colette. We actually booked at the hotel because we were looking forward to being served once again by this sparky, sparkling lady!!

Our waitress Collette made our meal so much more enjoyable. She was very friendly, joked with and too a min and talked with us. Made the meal a little more enjoyable when you have a great server! Kid-friendliness: Awesome Food

We had a lovely dinner. French onion soup was delicious and generously portions. Our mains of seafood pasta and lamb chops were also delicious. Service from Colette was excellent, fun and friendly. It was very quiet for a Saturday night. Seems like a hidden gem.

I dont know why this place has been given such high reviews. The breakfast was the worst. The food was basic. Bacon and sausages were oveously cooked under a broiler because they were dried out. I asked for easy over eggs. The whites were still runny. My wife asked for a cup of tea and the waiter asked how she wanted it. Like he was going to make it for her. We had to tell him how to put some milk and cream and sugar on a small plate and bring it with the cup of hot water. Like every restaurant in Canada. The plate he brought had dried eggs on it and, get this, he actually brought a swizzle stick for her to make tea with. This is nothing but an hotel lobby continental breakfast place. Typical Brampton Punjabi business take over. They have no clue what they are doing.

I am very puzzled how people are rating this place 4 plus, My wife and I were there with friends about a month ago , I had the lamb , she had the chicken parm. Which was dry and Luke warm at best If you are expecting your food to be hot when you get it good luck, if it wasnt for the gravy on the lamb this dish did not have any flavor, Very disappointed with this place .

After not being able to see family and friends in southern Ontario for three years, we were keen to host a Christmas reunion dinner in the Brampton area. We could not have made a better choice than La Pergola. The extensive and well-priced menu, safe and attractive setting, excellent food and Colettes impeccable service (both before and during the dinner) ensured we all enjoyed a warm and memorable dining experience. All in all, a great place to eat!

Im so glad we found this place! I drive by every day and didnt know there was a restaurant on the premises. They could use some better signage and advertising. Collette is amazing, she had us laughing right from the start. Shes a great server. The food exceeded our expectations for such an unassuming place! The chicken Supreme was cooked perfectly, the veggies were fresh, and the roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The burger was great. It was a fresh homemade patty. We recently visited La Pergola Ristorante and it was a most delightful experience. It was a bit of a hidden gem, as it is located within the Monte Carlo Inn with little to no signage to find it. The server, Collette, was an absolute delight - funny, experienced, and a true people-person. She made excellent honest recommendations that greatly enhanced our meal. The food was fantastic - excellent portions, good presentation, and delicious! Prices were also quite reasonable. I would definitely go back again. Highly recommended! Parking: Lots of free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Looks totally accessible, as its inside the hotel.

Met with friends Wednesday night for dinner. Its a nice casual place to meet for dinner and drinks. Prices were good. Our waitress made the night fun with some jokes and great come-backs. We all left more upbeat and made our social gathering more enjoyable

Had dinner here today for the first time, and have got to say I will be back ! We had amazing service by a wonderful lady! And she accommodated everything we had asked for ! We wanted steak and pasta as the side and she made sure it happened ! We also wanted bread with a balsamic spread and she got her chef to make it even though it wasn t on the menu ! Absolutely 100% will recommend to many !

Totally enjoyed the food, the service. So glad it didnt take long to be served as we came in terribly hungry. The service was impeccable. The ambiance wasnt important to us but thats the only shortcoming (neutral setting). So glad we tried something new!

Just skipped in for a cold coors light while my roommate was napping, and instead of a lonely cuppa, I had the pleasure of both Collette s quick wit and entertaining stories; as well as watching her woo the other lucky clientele. This is the kind of place I want to be a regular at. It turned into three cold beers and a meal, just so I could enjoy the show!

I came here with friends for a small birthday party after reading great reviews and they did not disappoint. I ordered the seafood linguine and calamari. The calamari was lightly breaded so you actually tasted the squid, delicious. Seafood linguine is my go-to pasta dish and they did it well here. Im a tough judge being Italian myself. The shrimp were cooked just right, the sauce divine. Would recommend coming here for the food! The place was a little quiet, it would be nice to have some music for ambiance. We were beyond thankful for the restaurant to be apart of the hotel. We were tired and very hungry. The hostess recommended the special which was lasagna and garlic bread. Went for supper with a larger group of parents and children. The food was great and everyone seemed to enjoy the service. I enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and my child the spaghetti and meatballs. Prices were very reasonable.

This place definitely deserves a visit atleast once by people in the city. The food is so flavourful with a great taste. It has the best chicken parm with the right amount of sauce! The customer service was amazing, as they were so accomodating. Its hard to find places with both great customer service and food. Im excited to try the other meals on my next visit. I will definitely be coming back!

Hidden gem!

Found this restaurant on a whim. Its definitely a new go-to. The inside is beautiful and theres a nice patio. The food arrived quickly, it was so delicious, and great portions. I was very delighted that the pasta dish I ordered already came with garlic bread so I didnt have to spend more money like some restaurants make you do. Collette was our server and she was lovely. She gave us free refills (edit: on our cranberry juice) without us even having to ask and it was very nice talking to her. Polite, sweet, charming and entertaining. She even took pictures of our family after dinner when we asked (she was great). Such a cute restaurant, will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend.

This place is a diamond in the ruff! I lived in Bramalea for 25 years and never knew it existed. The food was amazing, portions were generous, prices very reasonable, atmosphere warm and our server Collette was excellent in every way. Im already planning my next dinner there soon.

Noticed this restaurant by chance in passing to stay at Holiday inn Express across the street. Restaurant located inside another hotel called Monte Carlo Inn ( if I remember name correctly). Best meat lasagna I ever had...17.50$ Huge portion as well House salad also large and fresh...7.50$. Seafood linguine also excellent. Visited on a Sunday evening and literally no other customers. Ice tea excellent.

Went here with my friend today. Just found out about this place, as I was searching for restaurants to try, just wanting something different. Immediately fell in love with the food. I had the Atlantic salmon with roasted potatoes and vegetables with a dill cream sauce as my main, and bruschetta for an appetizer. Taste was amazing, I fell in love. There was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Wasn t too busy since we went on a Wednesday night. Hidden gem indeed, will come here again!

I was having a very bad first experience of Canada until I walked in this place. Collete is absolutely wonderful at her job. Her service was not only efficient, but very friendly as well!! I just may enjoy Canada a little more if there are more people and places like this.

Ate here for the pure convenience of it being off the lobby of the hotel where we were staying. Would have never known it was there otherwise. Colette, our server, was so funny and infectiously delightful in the most down to earth way. Super accommodating and efficient too: reminded me of Atlantic Canadian warmth and hospitality. Was looking for a venue to host a 60th wedding anniversary for a small group of 25. Google reviews brought me to La Pergola. From the initial first call through to the completion of our event, Collette was phenomenal. She is communicative, detail oriented, professional, friendly and extremely hard working. The dinner was outstanding. Our guests enjoyed Chicken Supreme and Lamb Chops. The chicken was juicy and the mushroom sauce was creamy and delicious. The lamb literally melted in our mouths and the accompanying sauce was amazing. As an avid diner all over the GTA I was thoroughly impressed. Many of the guests communicated to me how wonderful the evening was and how much they enjoyed their dinner and service. A definite hidden gem. After reading reviews for this place my partner and I decided to give it a try as we live pretty close, love Italian food and don t eat out very often. I m happy we did. Food: We ordered the calamari as a starter with a side Caesar to share and a bottle of Chardonnay . All were delicious, quantity for price of the calamari was a little disappointing which sadly that seems to be the norm now, but yummy. Chicken parm with pasta with a special request .so so good, my partner loved the chicken supreme. Service: We had the pleasure of being served by the infamous Collette who did not disappoint. She kept us smiling with her wit and fun personality, her attention to detail made our food experience one that will keep us coming back. We loved the fun cart service. See you soon girlfriend lol

I stayed at the Monte Carlo Inn Brampton for a week and the best part of my stay was the la pergola restaurant. The food is amazing and more amazing is Colette. She made me so comfortable and me laugh so many times. Colette made my week and I will go back to la pergola every time I m in Brampton.

Went there last night for dinner with my Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law as we were staying at the Hotel across the road and wanted some good Italian food for dinner. Both the food and atmosphere were amazing. Our server (whose name was Colette) was amazing. She was joking with us, engaging in conversation with us and made sure throughout our meal that everything was good and we had what we needed. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the best Italian meals and customer service at a dine-in restaurant I have ever been by too. This place is a real hidden gem. The food was great with large portions. Our server Collette was the sweetest person. She was really accommodating and attentive to our needs.

I spent 3 nights here with my brother. The free breakfast was (fresh) continental but I wish the boiled eggs were warm and not overdone... minor things. On our last night we decided to go to the bar for a couple drinks. A couple drinks turned into many. Colette made our visit enjoyable. Her interactions with us were genuine and honest. La Pergola is truly a hidden gem in Brampton located in Monte Carlo Inn. The service by Collette was excellent & our dinner was great! We shared the calamari & shrimp cocktail which was very good. The poutine could definitely be improved on though as they did not have actual poutine cheese curds & just used mozzarella as cheese toppings. It was not a true poutine nor did it taste like one. My disdain for that one dish did not warrant me from lowering my 4.5 Star rating. We had the NY strip loin steak, chicken Parmesan, chicken supreme & cheese tortellini as our mains which were good portions & delicious. We were all too full to have any dessert though options were limited. The ambience/atmosphere could also definitely be better & the decor updated. The furniture looks outdated & several plates were chipped & should not be used. Also, we went to raise the bland looking blinds covering the window behind our table- to take better pictures of the evening- but was told that they were broken & it now could not be lowered after we raised it (you can see difference in pictures attached). If that s the case then get them fixed! It was actually laughable that was the reason the blinds could not be raised. As one of the guests at our dinner stated: it actually reveals the restaurant to outdoor clientele as no-one even knows the restaurant is there in first place. Simple fix but the problem is just allowed to continue unrepaired. I m left to wonder what else there is broken & not easily replaced or repaired .smh Colette was the highlight of the evening. She was personable, friendly, professional & did great job tending to us. She has a great sense of humour & was very entertaining. She is an valuable asset to the restaurant. Too bad the restaurant has other issues through no fault of her own! La Pergola is a very good restaurant but definitely not great. If you are looking for fine dining this is not the place but if you re looking for something casual-the food is very good & prices fair. & service is excellent! Thank you Collette!

We rode our Harley s all day and reached this place as they were closing, they kept the place open just to feed us and we were so grateful. Great experience and great food, thanks again for your kindness :)

Went in for a drink, met Colette who told me everything on the menu was good. She was absolutely right and her service was amazing! Great pasta and wings were fantastic. Highly recommend.

I find it refreshing when the service is as good if not better than the reviews. Collette should be complement for her excellence ..friendly and goes about her business in a professional manner.

The food is good they go way beyond to satisfy you. Collette is awesome she is a very pleasant, sweet lady that is always checking on her customers to make sure they are happy with their order or how she could make it better

I do not understand how this restaurant has a 4.7 rating on google. Came here with a group of friends on Saturday around 6pm for dinner. The place was empty except for 2 drunk men. When the waitress took our orders, she kept recommending us to order the roast beef and she was very pushy about it. I ended up ordering the seafood linguine and my partner ordered the roast beef. The food took a long time to be served and it didnt taste good. The tomato sauce in the seafood linguine overpowered the entire dish. There wasnt much seafood, plus the mussels were small and overcooked. The roasted beef was really dry and the potatoes were flavourless. Prices were expensive. Lastly, the waitress was rude. I do not recommend going to La Pergola Ristorante.

Half our party had their meal, then other half was 20 min later. Got orders wrong: missing sides that were ordered. Got bills, and was overcharged on a items purchased (listed as special for $19.95, when ordered non-specials for less). Waitress apologized and asked how much our food should actually cost, then offered to give an approximate difference. PS this place is located in the hotel Inn . We didn t know until we arrived.

Colette is really nice, open and funny. The place was recommended by our front desk guy, and he didnt lie. The food is good and the service even better. 10/10 would recommend.

Roast beef was the drier than a desert. Seafood linguine tasted like the spaghetti from the lunch program. I cant understand why there are so many positive reviews.

This place wouldnt be La Pergola without Collette. The food is great and the prices are fair, however, Collette makes your time here unforgettable! Not only does she give the best options for drinks and food, her customer service is impeccable and she will always keep you with a smile on your face. if you want nice food, great customer service, privacy and sweet atmosphere it is the right place to be. I highly recommend pork chops. The waitress Colette is a lovely lady ,always smiling and she will take care of all your needs until the end.

The food was incredibly good, the Tortellini Monte Carlo it s a most. The flavours were out of the world. Colette the server, that lady is so nice, kind, funny, attentive. 100% We will come back

My husband and I found this place because of the reviews. Colette was funny, sweet & accomodating. The food was spectacular and the portions were large (we like to eat! ). We have been to a lot of places with italian food and this one is in our top 5. We will come back with our family next time. Do not hesitate to come here, you wont regret it.

What an amazing restaurant, food was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very quaint and the service was superb. We had the nicest, funniest waitress. She was very professional with a personable attitude. What is so awesome is this restaurant it isn t just for the hotel guest but open to the public. Brampton has a gem for a spot to sit back and enjoy fine food at a great price. The service is quick and the food was hot and is so delicious. I got the burger and it was homemade. The menu is so diverse for all taste buds. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Staying in Brampton for a sports trip and happened to find this little resto near our hotel. It maybe unassuming from outside but the service and food are excellent! We highly recommend the salmon special - the sauce was delicious and the veggies and potatoes were perfectly roasted. The kids loved their bacon cheeseburgers and the fries were crispy! And very yummy fudge cake and cheesecake! Service was excellent - you re funny and personable - thank you Colette!! :)

Assisted with my friends 60th birthday at this location and La Pergola was amazing. Food was excellent. Different variety , different packages, Good portions. Very professional and friendly staff. The food was meh. I ordered a chicken dish, a pasta and a pizza. The pizza was only marginally better than a frozen pizza. The pasta order was totally messed up and the chicken was so so. Won t revisit.

Ordered the Atlantic Salmon and a shrimp cocktail and both were delicious and to my specifications. Also have tried many other dishes on there menu and each time they exceeded my expectations. I Highly recommend Dietary restrictions: Open to alterations to your meal to fit any dietary restrictions

Well we had a delicious dinner. The food was number one. The service was over the top. Our waitress Colette was so attentive but not too much. Couldn t do enough for us. Great sense of humour. Made our evening very enjoyable. We are in Brampton for my husband s surgery and Colette wished him good luck on his surgery and recovery. Very lovely woman!

We had a delicious meal of pork chop in a peppercorn sauce with wonderfully fresh vegetables. The pork was moist and tender and it came with choice of potatoes. This was the special of the day, and Collette recommended it, and we loved every bite.

We wanted some fresh pasta and came to La Pergola all the way from Mississauga cause we saw the wonderful reviews online, and the trip down did not disappoint. We ordered the Chicken Supreme, Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry, and the Penne Alla Vodka (bacon subbed out for mixed veggies at an additional cost) and everything was absolutely amazing. Colette is one of the funniest and friendliest servers we have ever had the pleasure of speaking to; we had a wonderful conversation with her while waiting for our order. She is a wonderful host. Colette labeled all of our takeout orders with what was packed so that we wouldnt be confused with anything once we brought it home and opened the boxes. All of the food we ordered was so good, we will definitely be visiting La Pergola again in the near future. If youre looking for fresh, budget friendly meals and good company, 10/10 recommend coming to La Pergola! :)

Pre covid and post covid .this place is a gem .Salman the head chef turns out stunning quality .tonight pork chop in a apple & peppercorn sauce with perfectly cooked veg and roasted potatoes. The best French onion soup to start .I stay at the monte carlo when in town doing consumer shows .being in the food buissness myself .

What an amazing meal and service! Colette was an unbelievable server! I booked this restaurant because of the great reviews but was nervous when I saw that it was inside the Monte Carlo Inn. One of the better restaurants that I have eaten at!

Steak was well done and for some reason sour. Philly cheese steak was horrible and had a single jalapeno slice in the middle. Margarita pizza was a frozen pizza. Onion rings were literally from Costco. Just terrible idk how this is 4.8 stars

Food and service were lovely, the four guys loudly playing videos at full volume at their table right next to us was really annoying. Must be a common occurrence because the staff didnt seem too concerned.

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my father in laws birthday. At first sight I was skeptical as 1 . It was a hotel restaurant and 2 . There werent many people but I must say I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the bruschetta and calamari both very good and the calamari was not greasy nor chewy. The food came out in a timely fashion and everyones good was delicious. And most importantly we were greeted and taken care of by Collette who is not only a sweetheart she delivered excellence when it comes to the customer experience and the kids gravitated to her like they have known her for years! Thank you for making this experience not only enjoyable one but a memorable one! We will be back to this hidden gem!
