The mutton chukka was good however the dosa was okish.. Abdul, our server, was very good and helped us to choose from the menu..

There service is very bad...first they tell us we give you 2 chatnis with idli and vada and then we go there they said we charge for that.why? If they told us we give you with idli and vada then why?...they only want to make the customer by doing lie..so I prefer everyone to aware about idling street.

Highly recommend for Tamil food! Dindugal thalappakkatti that is available only on weekends is authentic and taste really good. Chicken chukka , nellore fish curry, chicken kothu parotta, chilli parotta, chicken 65 are top notch and taste like tamilnadu! A suggestion to incorporate nonveg meals like karaikudi chettinad meals which will have chicken,fish,mutton thokkus which I am never finding anywhere in GTA.

Neverever Try their Hyderabad chicken Dum biriyani and Guntur chicken Dry Starter. Even chicken is getting smell and taste was too poor. Better to stay away from this.

Order Briyani 65 . They chicken in that was so gross I might say it could be frozen which I understand bt wasn t cooked properly it was like burnt brown color from inside.

The food was really good, especially the non-veg dishes and mango lassi. Standouts were the melagu mutton, dindigul biryani and Kerala parotta. The only disappointment was the chicken kheema dosa but overall, a good experience.

Most disappointed. No taste in the karam masala dosa at all. No taste in the Karam and no taste in the potato curry. And the dosa was more of a papad. Poor show

The quality of idli was average, they were hard and not upto the mark given thats part of the name of the restaurant, and sambar was very spicy, filter coffee was below standard. Need to improve quality of food significantly.

Worst service ever I found, they will take 30 mins to serve only plain Idli. Pathetic service and when we aski for other orders, they said it will take more 40-45 minutes. With only 4-5 tables fulled, and they said we are busy today.

Worst experience. When we ordered they asked us to wait for 1 hour. Even after one hour they didnt give us the food. They took more than one and half hour while we were waiting outside the restaurant. I dont think they were that busy at that time. The worst part is they missed to give us few dishes which we ordered and paid. When we asked them to provide a refund, they denied. Horrible customer service.

We had a fantastic experience at Idli street. The podi idli, vada, and ghee roast dosa were absolutely delicious each dish was flavorful and authentic. A special shoutout to our server, Deepak, who took great care of us throughout our meal. His attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Loved their filter coffee and very communicative staff. We came at around 1230 and service was good. Seems like lot of take out orders. Really authentic South Indian food in Brampton. My recommendation would be Mysore Masala dosa if you like dosa spicy. If less spicy is your choice try ghee roast masala dosa and if you enjoy non traditional dosas then chicken ghee roast dosa.

Worst service, food is not on the table even after ordering for more than 1 hour. Server looks confused on what is our order 1 Mango Lassi took more than one hour to come. The restaurant has less to no staff. This is pathetic.

Nav... umesh...Buzy....server and chef....i ordered dosa..They were perfectly crispy on the outside and had a delightful texture on the inside. The ingredients tasted fresh, especially the filling options like masala dosa and paneer dosa, which were flavorful and well-seasoned.The service was prompt and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu items . They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Ordered takeout once before and it was absolutely delicious. Today me and my family went to dine in and the food, service did not disappoint.

Tried this restaurant after a lot of positive feedback from friends. The feeling was kind of mixed. I would surely come back here only to try out non vegetarian items. We ordered 1 chicken dindugal Thalapakatti, 1 pepper chicken and 1 peri peri idly. Both the non veg items were great and also tasted close to what we get back in India. The rice and chicken were so rich in flavor and taste. I would say this was one of the best Briyani and pepper chicken I have had in recent times in GTA. The pepper chicken was so juicy and melted in my mouth. But here comes the odd part of the slow veg item I ordered peri peri idly, it was just a deep fried idly lacked any taste or flavor. Also the oil flavor on the idly seems like they used the same pan or oil which is used for non veg to fry the veg idly. I wouldn t recommend vegetarians to give this place a try. No seasoning what so ever was to be found on the peri peri idly. But non veg lovers I would say this place would be a gem to try authentic dishes.

Party of four. Had lunch of dosas of different types with filtered coffee. The presentation of food and the crockery used was appealing and nice. Food was delicious. Overall nice ambience.

We celebrated mothers day and were party of 9 people. All the 7 people who ate meat products have upset stomach have diarrhea in the morning. I recommended this place to friends as I been to this place so many times but regret my recommendation. I think they should check on their cooking standards again.

I used to love their chicken 65, when I went last time they changed it and now it s like a chicken nugget, just crispy fried chicken. Sad I lost a place I loved! Yummy!.. Definitely a go to place, combo of good the service and best food quality. We ordered spring dosa, mysore masala dosa, peri peri idli, and mendu vada. For people who do not eat spicy like me, advise to ask to make them mild mysore dosa. Spring dosa is a very good combo of veggies with dosas. I loved it. Peri Peri idli was little salty, but otherwise ok ok. Also medu vada is a good to have as a starter. I have been to multiple Indian cuisines but this was indeed one of the bests I have ever tried. Loved it !

I tried it for the very first time. And it was very disappointing. I ordered plain dosa and peri peri idli. The dosa was pretty standard good sambhar and chutney. I was excited about idli but i got soo disappointed. The idli was soo soggy and it tasted like it was tossed in sauce thats it. Would not recommend.

Its not authentic andhra style Stuffing was paneer tossed in Ketchup and chilli powder. Overall, compared to nearby south indian restaurants , I would not prefer to go here again.

It was good. I just bumped in with no expectations, but the food was good. We had Dipped Idli Sambhar. Sambhar was tasty. I would like to try the rest of the veg menu also. Vegetarian options: They are having veg options also. I hope hygiene is maintained in the kitchen and veg and nonveg food is prepared separately.

Waste , idlis are horrible... I dont want to talk about Sambar and chutneys because talking about them is a waste of time. I heard from the workers stating that they follow the three-second rule before serving food to the customers.

I ordered 2 chicken soups and both soups were too much spicy n tasteless, so I never recommend anyone to go there n feel the same. When I complained about on phone their staff said, we are too busy n it will be same if you ordered next time. I am so disappointed.

Very Disappointed---I ordered take out and was charged for potatoes on the side of Rava Dosa, forgot to give it to us. Asked us to come back & they will happily give it to us as if they are doing a favor!!! Really? Go all the way back for potatoes and then have colder dosa. Food quality has gone down considerably. Dahi Wada had very little dahi and no taste except sugar, Dosas were bland, Medu Wada tasted stale/ no flavor. Very unfortunate as their food used to be competitive to Guru Lakshmi, very disappointed with the taste of food, quality of food, service as well. I wish you guys pay attention and revive your taste and quality sooner than later. I am sorry to say but will go back to Guru Lakshmi!

Went there for the second time with a friend. Beautiful ambiance, very inviting, our idli were fresh loved coconut chutney and sambar was perfect not over spiced like other places gives heart burn.
