We a family get-together at nine 18 great place for a large group, amazing views and good food.

(June 2024 update) If youve had great drinks before, this will hit like a 4... but if you cant tell the difference, itll hit like a 5. If youre a foodie, you might rate the food a 3/4. The salad is boring and the presentation is poor. Tacos were lack luster... you can do the same at home. Dessert is presented but tastes like a Sobeys counter cake with icing sugar. If you typically eat at places like Montanas, East Side etc. then youll rate the food a 5... nothing wrong with that. The 3/4 is more of a warning for the foodies. Atmosphere makes up for this. This is still a better option than going to a chain restaurant and if its your first time itll feel like a 5 due to atmosphere. Id still go back for the atmosphere and this time find out from the chef what food item they do well. (2023)Okay giving it a 4 for food ONLY because the drinks were not that great. The food is 5 stars but the cocktail drinks need work!

Patio experience after a round of golf!

I recently had my wedding ceremony at Turnberry and it was a dream come true. The staff were exceptional and Krista was supportive, understanding and helped make the day a success. I am truly thankful for Krista and the whole staff that helped with my wedding. Truly outstanding customer service. 5 stars all around. It was a beautiful day and ceremony.

Went to have dinner with a good friend celebrating my birthday When seated the waitress brings the menu within 2 minutes asks us are we ready to order? The window sills were filthy and so was our table I brought that to the attention of our server, not impressed with the food either for 38.00 salmon we got most of the plate was raw veggies and overcooked potatoes My first and last time, I told the waitress who informed us she spoke to the manager about our concerns but he did not bother to speak to us HORRIBLE PLACE STICK WITH GOLF AND DITCH SERVING FOOD

Dined in on a Thursday evening. Service was pretty slow. He was not on top our drinks and due to this we just ended up ordering 1 drink each by the time we decided to finish up. It appears as though only 1 server was dealing with the whole outside patio (which we saw as we were leaving). Atmosphere on the patio was great and the view of the golf course was nice. The kids cheeseburger was great. Our meatball sandwhich and fish and chips were nothing special for the price. Sandwhich was slightly warm and the fish was over fried. The server was slow on checking in with us so we ate what we ordered as the food took a while to come out and we were hungry. When we got the bill he asked how everything was and thats when we let him know about our meals. The manager came out to comp the 2 meals and said she would let the chef know. We do appreciate that she tried to rectify our concerns. Overall due to the atmosphere and other peoples reviews we are still willing to try this restaurant again for the apps.

We celebrated our son s graduation at Nine18 today and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent: good portion sizes, hot and fresh, came out all together. Bruschetta was delish! The service was exceptional. All of the staff made sure we were well looked after. I can t say enough about our server, India, who was amazing! She looked after all of our needs and more. She was so friendly and genuine. She thought of everything for us and even walked to the door as we left. I only wish we were able to leave an even nicer tip but we will definitely be back. Thank you Nine18! Kid-friendliness: Excellent children s menu with lots of choice and reasonable prices.

The event co-ordinator, Krista, did a phenomenal job organizing our event. On the day of the event, the staff was first class. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we wouldnt hesitate to have another event here in the future!

We ate on the patio. Well spaced tables. Excellent & attentive service. Well priced cocktails. Decent menu - the food is edible if not somewhat overpriced. Great views over the golf course. Excellent for watching the sun set.

Absolutely love this place. Was so amazed with the service that when i saw a customer who was so rude and obnoxious, i felt the need to apologize to the staff on their behalf because of their uncalled for behaviour. will definitely be back again because they deserve customers who are respectful!

Very good place

Visited twice and my review has not changed. Great service and atmosphere. However, the food is decent but not great as the Margherita Pizza was cold and hard when it came out (we were sitting on the patio in the summer). Also got the Falafel Wrap previous year I went and the lettuce and veggies were old and not fresh. Amazing view but not great food. Ideal for stunning photos though. Dietary restrictions: Not too many vegetarian options unfortunately.

My family and I rented Room 56 (a private function room within Nine18) for my mothers retirement party last weekend. From planning to the day of the event, we were supported by Krista, NINE18s Events Coordinator. Krista was incredibly thorough and helped us plan our menu and other arrangements to bring our ideas to life for our event. On the day of the event, we were supported by Ally and Taiya, two amazing servers who really went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs got met. All of our guests were impressed by the atmosphere, food, music and service at the event. Thank you Krista, Ally and Taiya - we will definitely be back!

The view is amazing. The food was delicious. The service to get food was fast, but only complaint would be getting a servers attention for the bill and to order more food.

Easter brunch is always great. We ve gone the past 6 years or more. Our server today (Taiya) was fantastic. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming for kids from 2-16. My daughters always want to go back.

We have always loved NINE 18, but today was one of the best experiences yet! Ally was the most helpful, attentive and energetic server and made our outing so much fun!!! And to top it all off, it was a stunning spring day on the patio. We left feeling so well taken care of and with huge smiles on our faces, all thanks to Ally and the team at NINE 18! It was such a memorable experience, we even had to bring Ally into our celebratory selfie : Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian and have always found such amazing, unique options! Me and my family went here and we had the best seats with the best views. The food was amazing we all loved it. We had Taiya as our server and she did excellent. She used to also great with kids:))

Though this place markets itself as an upscale restaurant, the food quality is terrible.

An awesome place to hold events like baby shower, bridal shower and any other special occasion. The staff from the event coordinator to the rest of the staff were all very courteous, accomodating, all in all a wonderful experience.

On 11th December 2022 we hosted a 40th birthday party for our daughter at Nine18. In consultation with Laura, the Events Coordinator we chose the Tuscan Buffet. We also opted for the Cheese Table . The Cheese Table consisted of one cheese board with a minimal selection of cheeses. It was supposed to be accompanied by an assortment of fresh fruits, nuts and marmalades. What we got was a cheese board that may have had enough cheese to feed half a dozen people. The assortment of fresh fruits, nuts and marmalades consisted of several blueberries, some strawberries cut in half and perhaps 2 or 3 nuts. This Cheese Table cost over $500.00. Many of our guests had no cheese at all as it was gone almost immediately. There was no replenishment of cheese. The Tuscan Buffet was a joke. The roast potatoes were cold, undercooked and not edible. The lemon chicken was dry and tasteless. The pasta was cold, dry and undercooked. The Caprese salad was a combination of tomatoes and boccancini with some sort of dressing. Definitely not a Caprese salad. We were one of the first people to visit Nine18 when it opened in 2010. The location was beautiful and the food was delicious. Not so much now. Menu items are overpriced and the quality of some dishes is sorely lacking. We will not be attending Nine18 again, nor will any of our guests.

It was a great experience. The restaurant ambiance was good . I had the taco salad to start followed by fettuccine in pesto ! It s was heavenly good ! The staff was so attentive and to the point in every way ! Staff were really friendly. Beautiful sunset view as well. The crab cake avocado bruschettas are so good we had to get another order for the table! We also had the steak, Chicken supreme, stuffed salmon and eggplant parm plates at our table and everyone really enjoyed their meal. We were super full and satisfied by the end. we will definitely be going back.

Had a GREAT experience here with Laura and Ali during the tasting for my bridal shower. Laura was incredibly patient throughout the whole process - from my initial emails to setting up the tasting and completing the booking. This place has awesome vied with a terrible white staff, who are racist specially there so called manager. Nobody took our order , we sat there for 30 minutes. they took the order of other two tables who came after us as they were non indian. We spoke with the manager and he didn t even apologize, and we have to leave the place without eating. I would not recommend this place as its full racist.

This would be a five star if they were more accommodating. We have tried to book a table on the outer patio, only to be told we can t do that. We then arrived and asked for the patio, seeing multiple tables available only to be told they are booked. Very frustrating. We used to come all of the time and got a outer patio seat no problem. Not worth the stress!

India made amazing drinks!!!

We hosted our son Patrick s baptism today and it was truly an amazing experience. Matthew, the Director of food and beverage was so attentive via email and answered all my questions. The staff was exceptionally friendly and so courteous. Jordan our bartender was so easy to work with and ensured the set up before the event was smooth. The servers Alessandra and Emma were sweet and instant hits with our families; chatting with our guests and accommodating any requests. Carlos the chef personally came to check when the buffet should start and if things were going well. The food was delicious! Our families had only great compliments about the taste and quality. I would highly recommend Nine18 restaurant to my family and friends. I will also host future events here. An exceptional experience.

The service was great. no reservation required. I ordered the meditation pizza and the sterling & mushroom linguini. I found the pizza to be blane. The sauce was great, but the pizza dough was kind of odd. It tasted like the flower wasnt mixed properly, and I could state almost like the flower powder still. It lacked a lot of flavor as well. For the price of the food vs. what we received, it isnt worth it in the long run to me as I could go somewhere else and get more tasteful food for the same cost or less.

We had a private bridal shower that took place in the outdoor tent outlooking the golf course. The day was absolutely beautiful, and the staff did an outstanding job in helping me set the ambiance that I was trying to achieve for the day. The service from the very start when I first starting planning all the way down to the time the event was completed was extraordinary. The staff was very responsive and accommodated all of our needs. I would highly recommend Nine 18 for all your private events, and even for casual dine in.

The views on the golf coarse are wonderful. A special thank you to Stephanie for helping us organize the entire event. The Malibu Barbie cocktail was a complete hit! And so was the Branzino! Everyone that ordered it, said it was amazing! Would definitely go again!

My family and I were having a last patio dinner to end off summer. Ali was amazing and one of the best service experiences we ve had! We rented out half of the restaurant for a special event with our family and friends. The planning process was extremely easy, Stephanie responds super quickly and was able to accommodate a last minute menu request! We had passed appetizers and the buffet, everything was delicious! The buffet has a lot of options and all of our guests were extremely full at the end of the night. The servers were very friendly, they chatted with our guests, were super attentive, took photos and made us all feel so comfortable. They accommodated halal and vegetarian requests. Highly recommend this restaurant for the views and pictures, especially during golden hour. Everyone easily gravitated outside to snap pics!

I couldnt have asked for a nicer venue for a Celebration Of Life. The scenery was beautiful and the staff were wonderful!

Went here recently for my anniversary as my wife and I had our wedding reception at Turnberry. The food is not the same as it was. The chicken in their pasta was not good and seemed like it was from old leftovers, probably from a recent wedding. The worst thing was they served my fries in a small rusted metal basket. Check out the picture. I only realized this after I ate the fries, didnt want to seem like one of those customers that complained after eating everything, so I didnt bother. Still, they serve something potentially dangerous.

Last night, my friends and I celebrated a birthday dinner at Nine18, and we absolutely loved it! The penne and fettuccine pasta were so delicious, and so was the cookies n cream birthday cake at the end. Our server Ally truly made the entire experience, she was so helpful throughout the entire night, and continuously made jokes with us, keeping the energy at an all time high! Would definitely come again :)

Great service by India!

I just read a review from a month ago from here where someone was served their fries in a rusted metal basket....guess what? They still do. We ordered the wings and had taken it out of the metal bucket so we could share and found out the entire inside of the bucket was completely rusted. The crazy and scary part was, when we told the staff, they werent surprised at all. They knew a month ago and they still know now! For a high end restaurant and a very expensive one at that, Im floored that they think this is ok!! I have no words. Me commenting on the rest of the food, visit, and service is pointless as this to me is the biggest deal breaker. I would never recommend this place to anyone to eat. A rusty can is unsanitary, unprofessional, and an overall example of how unclean their kitchen has to be. I wouldnt trust any food they served here after that!!!! Stay away!

Ive lived in Brampton for a while and went for the first time back in July. Cant believe Ive only discovered this place now. Had the burger and the pecan tarte. Both were yummy. The view - spectacular! The best part is feeling like youre not in Brampton. Lol. Want to go back before summer ends!

Views is really good but food is extremely expensive and very simple tasting. The chicken burger tasted like a standard tim hortons chicken sandwich. Harveys chicken sandwich tastes much better and has more toppings

Great Date Night Location

2 stars just for the view and the location. Aweful food, not that great service. The cocktails and nachos were underwhelming and overpriced for a cheap grocery store quality, guac was stale and smelled and tasted acidic like it had gone bad. They dont provide cakes for birthday, we had to bring our own and when they brought the cake , they brought it just like they did cocktails there was no wishing or anything.

Place is decent, nice decor and interior. Service was great, our waiter Jordan was amazing. Came here once last year and the food was decent, but tasted like they didnt salt the pasta water before boiling so it was bland. Went again recently on mothers day, this time got the meatballs, and nachos as an app. Meatballs were a good texture same with the sauce, the garlic bread it was served with was tasty as well. The nachos were standard, the flavour on the beef was nice! Now for mains we had split a few different pastas, the seafood pasta and the alfredo, and the diavolo and primavera pizzas. The seafood pasta was tasty, it was actually seasoned well and had a touch of heat. The alfredo was quite bland. Pizzas were good too, nice crisp undercarriage and crust, primavera veggies tasted fresh, diavolo was the same. Good place for a vibe and views and service was great food is good, solid place overall.

I don t think I have had this horrible of an experience at ANY restaurant before so congratulations you have shattered a record! To write all that transpired would be a novel so here are the main points. 1. Your food allergies will not be taken seriously. 2. The manager here is rude and condescending. 3. The first 2 likely only applies to people with my skin colour. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and treatment of my party of 6 today and I would never come back. 0/10 would not recommend!

We had an event and the food set up was buffet, breakfast, salad, pasta and salmon. Food was excellent no complaints everyone enjoyed themselves. Great attentive staff made sure everyone was taken care of.

We came here today and girls at the reception asked if we had any reservation but when we called in before coming in they said we didn t need any. They rudely told us to wait for 45minutes max and took our contact details. We didn t receive any call from them so we followed up and the girl said it would take another 1 hour. We left the place and guess what we received the call after 2 hours when they were about to close. Like seriously??

Had a party outside. One server for 30 people. Took a long time to get drinks and food ordered/served. $16 for small glass of wine

We have always loved 9Eighteen for their great food however this visit was disappointing. On the recommendation of the server, I ordered seafood pasta. I was shocked to see that it only came with 3 small mussels, 3 clams (see picture) and the 3 shrimps and scallops at about 1/2 inch around were so small you had to dig through the pasta to find them. This dish was not up to the standards that we expected from 9Eighteen or any restaurant at that price. On a good note, my wife loved her black bean burger and the lovely side salad it was served with.

absolutely horrible, my friend and I went hoping to have a good experience and we order an non-alcoholic drink of turbary sunset. and it tasted off but we didn t think it was had alcohol in it because we told them and plus we were underage and they never asked for id. now we are paying for the bill and see they charged for the alcoholic version of the drink and we asked them why and they said because it was the regular version and we told we were 17 years old and they didn t care. never going back absolutely terrible experience!

If you re having a good day don t come here. Walked in and put myself on the wait list. Was told it would be 30-45 mins wait after 1 hour I had to call and ask if my table was ready and it was. Got seated in the worst spot with sun glaring directly on top. The server didn t come to the table till 20 mins after sitting down and didn t get my food till I finished my entire beverage. I ordered the nachos and every single piece was stuck together and stale. Asked for the bill and had to wait 15 mins to get the bill and another 20 mins on top for him to bring the debit machine which he didn t At that point I had to get up myself and walk to the front to pay just so I could leave this place. Every aspect of this place needs to be re trained or needs new employees from the hostess, waiter and the chef in the kitchen. Totally disgusting and unprofessional. I will never come back to this place.

Slow kitchen service yet again... first time there was a party going on so gave benefit of doubt...this evening there wasnt many people and took 45 mins for a pasta dish

Horrible service we waited for over an hour for drinks.

The food is okay, nothing special. I guess people come here for the atmosphere. I got the fetticine alfredo, although it has nice herbs. Its very bland. Its a good date place, if you can sit outside (when its not raining).

Dont go if you are hungry. Portions are small for the price. Food is just so so. Service is slow. Beer will be warm by the time you receive the food. Views of the course are nice. Will not return for food.

Amazing service and food!

Honestly the service wasn t the greatest, the food was good. But service wise I was not impressed, our host just did a weak job. Lovely place though.

Terrible experience. Food took over an hour to come out. Excuse was that it was being cooked fresh - which is fine, but no one checked on us or updated us during that hour. Server was not the least bit apologetic. Ordered the chicken parm, came out missing the pasta. When I told the server half my meal was missing she stared at my plate blankly. By the time they brought out the second part of the meal, I had already finished the rest. When I say we saw our server once an hour- what would have been a 1.5 hour outting turned into 3 hours because she just never came around. I m an understanding person but the place has like 6 tables full at any given time?? That should have spoken volumes alone. Again, zero apologies. It s one thing for the kitchen to be running behind, but abandoning your tables an hour at a time? I ve spent 7 years in the service industry, dined at hundreds of restaurants and this was just the absolute worst. While the views are beautiful, the experience is not worth it. Have shared this experience with many others now and happy to say I ve turned a few people off from visiting. Don t waste your time, head to literally ANY other restaurant.

This place was beautiful God the views, service and food were all to die for! My servers were amazing! the sweetest girls!. Im new to the city and this will be my new hangout!

Been coming to this place for over 10 years. They have really been doing a good job especially recently. Great patio, servers are extremely friendly, and new food items are a hit. For busy times definitely make a reservation because it can get busy especially with good weather. My server & bartender were awesome.

New to the city and we found our new hangout! Great food and service! Salmon bowl was to die for! Manager came over and checked in on us, he was so nice!

Dinner was good. Great Espresso Martinis. Elizabeth was my server she was spot on.

I celebrated my birthday on the patio and the view was just amazing. The food was great and the portions were quite filling. The servers were prompt, pleasant and accommodating. We had a good time and I will certainly recommend this restaurant.

We had our son s baptism here this past weekend. Service was disappointing coming from there kitchen. Issues with every course. Meals were cold, they tried to re warm food and it was still cold. By the time new steaks came out, people were eating cake/deserts because they were so hungry. They were re issuing half eaten plates to wrong guests. Guests were missing courses. A complete disaster. Super disorganized and embarrassing. Some of our guests barely ate. Do not recommend them for events. The Big Mac we had on the way home was 10/10

Very bland experience. The nachos was cold. The soup needed spice and seasoning.

Edit to my original review: My husband and I had an unfortunate experience where we got sick from one of the items we ordered during dinner. Upon communicating this to the restaurant, we were invited back to the restaurant for complimentary entrees to make up for our previous unfortunate experience. I have to say, the service and the quality of food the second time around was impeccable. Everyone at the restaurant made sure we had a good experience this time around and a special shout out to head Chef Carlos for such a delightful dinner! This place has always been one of my favorites - and without doubt theyve measured up again :)

Excellent view from the patio. Food was good staff were very accommodating. There was a bit of a wait but seeing that they are not at full capacity. There is no indoor dining.

Great food and nice view!!!Visited in July 2021. Service was amazing! Our server even moved us to another table when we requested it for the view. I was also very impressed with the food! The portions were good and it was very tasty. The food did take long however (at least 30 min) hence the 4 star review. Overall I would visit again and recommend this place to others.

Seriously yummy. This place is wonderful. They take covid safety seriously. Its clean. There was no wait. Our server Emily was amazing. She didnt rush us but was super fast with the service. She made thoughtful suggestions in regards to the menu. The food was fresh, served at the perfect temperature and prepared the way I love it. I cant wait to go back.

Very nice patio and food.

Went here for a work event. The food items I sampled were calamari, margarita pizza, another type of pizza, and a lava cake like dessert and a carrot cake slice also. The food tasted great. There was this small ball item that was on a stick which was good but i dont know what it was called. The staff member assigned to us was nice, polite and friendly. There was a large tent set up so we could enjoy the outdoors. I drank the merlot which was also good and Im not a wine drinker.

Really good crab cakes and a wonderful view of the golf grass fields.. nice lowkey spot, especially if youre brining a date. Entrees arent anything special, but their apps are great. Ive seen other people order burgers here, they look massive and juicy af. Wouldnt try the wraps though. Rating my experience purely on how great the views was (as long as you sit outside) and the amazing crab cakes

Amazing course, everything was in perfect condition. I had never played a par 3 course before but I had a great time!

Food was great, server was really good. Lost points for lack of heating outside. Also slightly messed up my order but the server made it up with a free desert.

Nice view

Visited today with my family ( 7 kids under 10 years - so you could imagine the excitement) and 5 adults. The service was good, food portions really big .. I ordered a kids cheese pizza - for my 1 year old and it literally had like 8 slices ( or maybe 6 slices ) it was so big. Food tasted okay. Unfortunately no picture of the food. We do plan on revisiting again in the near future.
