Downside, better to fo on the weekday as you have more time than a Friday night! 1 1/2 tops yet its Worth it! Little Pricey but again, Worth it!!! 10/10 Food is Delicious!!! Surprise ~Little robots collecting your empty dishes! The Staff are Friendly, Fast, Efficient & Give off an Amazing Vibe! Ive been 3X! Vegetarian options: Vegan Options!

Wonderful experience at august 8!!! Tracy the supervisor was so lovely!! She made the experience so perfect. She did her best to accommodate my mother and elderly grandmother. All the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this place!!!

1st time i came to this place was at a work event and have been a repeat customer since. The options are quite varied. Love their dinner sets , dimsums and Tacos. Ofcourse the sushi as expected is awesome. Everytime inadvertently I order too much

This sushi spot is fantastic! The fish is fresh, the rolls are beautifully crafted, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy, modern ambiance adds to the experience. Highlights were the spicy tuna and dragon roll, along with delicious miso soup and tempura. Great value for the quality highly recommend!

The best AYCE rstaurant Ive ever been in. I come here once a month. All you can eat for 40$ and you can order as much as you want as long as you finish it. The cheese wontons are my constant favourite. The waiters and waitresses are always very professional.

My wife and I came here for a date night on Saturday, and were extremely impressed. It exceeded our expectations. We were greeted and seated right away, the staff were friendly, and made great recommendations of items we should try. The food was really good, we were surprised at how fast food came out after ordering from the iPad. We also appreciated the variety of items to chose from. We will definitely be back to try the items we did not get a chance to taste as we were stuffed!

Came here for lunch and just wanted to give a shout out to Nino. He greeted us at the door with a welcoming smile. He was very attentive and kind, and has exceptional customer service traits. A very caring individual. The food here is always phenomenal!

Dined in here multiple times, the food is always solid and the service is fast. I remember an instance where we didn t receive items that we ordered and the manager Ashley ensured that we were taken care of right away. Will be returning.

This franchise is pretty much the best all u can eat, this branch is also awsome they gave us an extra 15 minutes. Eve provided amazing service. Would highly recommend.

There was no wait to be seated. It was a Friday night. It was cool that the menu was on an iPad, and that you submitted your order via the iPad also. It was cozy warm inside which was nice and I didnt expect that. It was a great experience. Food was great. My server was great. I would come back.

Great sushi spot to bring a date. They have a lot of little booths so you and ur date can chill. The low lighting sets the mood you know what Im saying. Service was great didnt even have to ask the man topped off my water everytime. Food is good not the best sushi ever but good for all you can eat. The salmon sushimi was the best . If they still have the wagyu and peeking duck on the menu that slaps too, def recommend. August 8 a bcc classic

If there is 0 star I would give them 0 or even minus. It is terrible experience. I love August 8 and go to Oakville location all the time but Brampton location is terrible. Avoid this location.

Well this place went to crap. They used to have a really good sashimi, sushi, roll party plater, until they changed their menu. Now the only option they offer is garbage. No variety compared to what it used to be. Fewer pieces. And almost all salmon. News flash. Sushi is more than just salmon. They dont even have a spicey tuna hand roll anymore. What kind of sushi place is that? For those who have a salmon intolerance, dont get takeout from here. Youll have nothing to eat. August 8 used to be decent. But after the menu change, and it is only the Brampton location that has changed their menu, it is not worth the money. We wont be ordering from here any more. Thats for sure.

Although the service was great, the food was disappointing. Out of the 15 or so dishes we tried there are only 2 that I can remember being good. The rest, especially the dim sum items were just awful. They were as if they were yesterdays leftovers and heated up in a microwave. The best way I can describe them was that they were rubbery. The 2 good dishes were the steak and the green tea ice cream. Its sad because I heard that August 8 has been improving over the years. I can confirm these rumours are false.

This restaurant is amazing for presentation, service, and the food looks and tastes great - but theyve changed it and now many items are cooked in butter or cheese. I didnt know until after we left and I felt quite sick. I can no longer tolerate dairy unfortunately, and dairy is in nearly everything. Another restaurant goes out of circulation for us.

First let me say, I have visited this location multiple times. It s usually my go to sushi spot. But for whatever reason, today was a BAD experience. The food was great as always and our server Nino was excellent. That being said, however, the cleanliness of the location was beyond questionable. Imagine you re enjoying your food and have to pause to use the facilities. On you way you notice an awful smell. You open the back family bathroom and all you see is literal poop and poopy water all over the floor with poop covered toilet paper hanging out of the toilet onto the floor. This is exactly what happened today. It turned my stomach. I assumed this was a one off, and likely just happened and perhaps the staff weren t even aware yet. So I decided to try the first women s washroom. EVEN WORSE. Poop smeared everywhere. Toilet seat left up. Poop all over the place. Completely unusable, especially for a woman. I checked the second women s bathroom, better toilet condition. But built up filth everywhere. I have never seen this restaurant in such a state. I basically had to go out into the mall to use the washroom. At this point, my husband went to the men s and had the same sickening experience. Needless to say our appetites were lost. We had decided to leave. And asked for the bill. I would assume the manager, a woman, made the comment that we would be charged a surcharge for the left over food which of course I was NOT going to be paying. I explained exactly why I wouldn t be paying. Perhaps if they kept their facilities clean, people wouldn t lose their appetites. Hoping that August 8 will learn something from this experience and ensure your washrooms are kept up properly - clean, stocked and sanitary. If the washrooms look like this? What s the kitchen like? Is it even safe to dine here anymore? Very very VERY disappointing!

Waited at desk for 15m and then rushed while eating.Orders come randomly, wanted my soup first but the full course came first...also takes more then 20m for French fries. Lunch Menu very limited. Consistency of fry item and soup, I do not recommend this for families especially for Real Canadians

Ive been here since the opening for August 8 and theres been a lot of times where everything was great. Recently, the service has been subpar which I dont really understand because the service was quality for a long time. Now its upsetting to see that service is slow and fairly unaware (reffering to picking up dishes after the food is finished) I hope things improve for this place.
