Sushi House Japanese Restaurant in Brampton

This a la carte sushi restaurant is awesome! Though I love my all you can eat, I found the lunch bento box with a side of salmon sushi pizza to be quite filling. Food and service are excellent, the restaurant has good amount of seating as well. The only thing I d say is that the parking lot is small and tight. Though I found parking right away (around 1:15pm on a weekday), i can see that might be a bit of a challenge during peak times. By the time we left though, there was lots of parking available.

Always fantastic fresh sushi.

I had the beef udon and tuna and avocado sushi rolls. The sushi was fresh and had generous portions of tuna and avocado. The udon broth was delicate and savoury. The restaurant is divided into smaller dining rooms, making it very cozy.

Hands down one of the best sushi places places on the GTA. All the staff is great - Sharon the owner is amazing! Super friendly and caring! Our daughter has autism and she makes us feel comfortable every time we visit. We take out from here, dine-in all the time and bring all our guests here.

I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars, the reviews are absolutely delusional and inflated. I m a huge foodie, I love eating and I absolutely LOVE sushi. I ve tried so many different sushi places especially in Brampton and this was genuinely the most flavourless, blandest sushi I have ever had. I ordered a party platter and it tasted like absolutely NOTHING. You would think the proportions would make up the price but I can t help but to think I would rather just have plain rice by itself but not even the rice from the sushi was good. This is not a hidden gem in Brampton because trust me, there are so many better options. I d rather get sushi from an asian grocery store like Oceans, and that says a lot If you re looking for sushi in Brampton, try Kibo, Toshi, Tokyo Maki or 520. Just not this place.

Worst food that I ve had. The food is flavourless and way too sweet, if I wanted sugar food then I would ve went to the bakery store down the street instead. As well as the lady who was our waiter was very rude, it seems that even after we tipped her, she was unhappy with the amount. The entitlement is crazy and I would avoid this place. I wouldn t even rate this as high as a 1 star place

Was very slow, and service attitude wasn t very good with a lady in dark blue shirt. The store wasn t fully seated. Waited for almost one hour for a take out order.

Was excited to come back to this place after having such a good experience the first time around. Got sushi delivered today and it was absolutely disgusting. Inconsistent pieces( some massive rolls that I had to cut in order to eat), yam pieces were drenched in oil, bad miso soup . Waste of $50 and we all feel sick. Will never return!!

The food at sushi house is amazing and honestly some of the best i ve ever had, unfortunately this is coupled with the worst service of any establishment i ve ever been to. The staff will check up on you once an hour maximum, they will not give you water, ask how you re doing, or even take your order after seating you. Unless you have 3 hours to spare to not come here.

We have never tried sushi before but our experience was good. We ordered spicy veggie roll and it was delicious. Service was fast.

Great veg shushi choices

Sushi house is my favourite sushi restaurant in the GTA. I ve been coming here with my family since I was a child, and minus a hiatus of a couple years, it is my go to sushi restaurant. It is not all you can eat, but you end up with a good quality and quantity of sushi you actually want to eat. The service is fast and kind, and I will continue to recommend this location to all I meet. Their on the house crunch soup is amazing, and so are all of their rolls and sashimi. They even have other meal options for those who don t like seafood. TRY IT!!

Not worth the money at all. Paid $30 for 14 pieces of sushi and was still really hungry after. Won t be going back.

Ridiculously BAD service. Either the waiters are under paid or under trained. We sat and waited for half an hour and there was no one to take our order. The waiters passed by our table many times and had paid no attention to us. We had to literally grab one and finally took our order. The tea served was lukewarm close to cold. It costed $2/ cup. We had sit down there and waited almost one and half hours to get our food served on the table eventually. It was a nightmare. We definitely not go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Have dined in and ordered take out many times from here for over 10 years. One of my favourite places to go in the area for sushi. Its a bit more expensive than other places but the food quality is great. Im never worried about quality. The fish and veg are never wilted, slimey or weird. Theyre fresh! Yesterday I ordered some take out. Spicy california rolls, tuna off the a la carte menu, and miso soup. First off, the ratio of rice to filling is perfect. Theres not too much rice or roe like other places and the spicy mayo is sooo good. Crab was flavourful and avocado was fresh! Miso soup was good portion and tasted nice. My only issue was the tuna. The slices were a little thick in compairison to the tiny ball of rice underneath. Never had this issue before but Im sure its a one off! The fish was great it was just a huge amount of it at once and tuna is quite rich so it wasnt as enjoyable as usual and had to eat it in a couple bites. Inside of the restaraunt is clean and the staff is always very fast/friendly the second you walk in. Placed my order online and it was ready in 20 minutes, everything packed well (no spills) and perfect temp. Always reccomend this place to anyone looking for good sushi in the city!

This joint got all the right signs for a friendly neighborhood restaurant: quiet corner, not too many seats, and a warm hello once I walked through the door. The owner recognized a few customers as regulars during my visit. My take out order was executed promptly, and I was sent on my way. Spicy salmon rolls were the de facto choice, but I found spicy hamachi rolls as an option, so I had to try it. The rolls werent as spicy as I would like, but the flavours were in the right places. The spicy hamachi rolls were way better, so they come highly recommended. I appreciate the fact that the server indicated which rolls were in the takeout container, instead of mindlessly dumping the rolls into place. I also ordered the chicken donburi, just to try. The chicken pieces were generous, tender, and tasty. The rice was adorned with seaweed bits, making it tasty on its own.

Gotten takeout here and its pretty good. The food is great and the service is on point. The decor inside is also pretty good but did not dine in.

Been ordering from here for years and love it. We place the same Order every Thursday. Over the last 4-6weeks the spicy tuna and salmon rolls stopped coming with the spicy Mayo sauce on top. Otherwise 5/5 sushi restaurant

Order from Uber , took more than hour to receive my order. I live 10-15 mins by drive. So restaurant made 8 maki rolls+dumpling for 1 hour. Please consider very late preparing time. Will write same comment on Uber too

Our favourite sushi place in all of GTA! We love this place so much and have been here numerous times! We ve even brought family and friends and they ve all loved it too. Their food is fresh and so tasty. We get their avocado sushi and they always put a generous amount of avocado in each roll. We d love a Milton location as we enjoy sushi from Sushi House when we re in Brampton :) xox

My go to restaurant any time Im in town. Really good sushi, with other options for those less adventurous. Parking: Ive always been able to find an available spot in the parking lot.

One of the best Sushi places in Brampton. Good for vegetarian as well. Just that they fry the veggies in same oil as meat. Rest many things were great. Miso soup is just next level. All veg options are good. The side cabins for seating feel very private and cozy. Parking is there but bit tricky. Vegetarian options: They got few nice ones

I was craving salmon rice bowl. After checking the website, we had one hour for dine in before they close. The restaurant have a Japanese atmosphere, the waiters/waitresses are so friendly and the food was more then I expected. They offered us fish broth on the house and it was delicious. The salmon rice bowl was fresh and full of flavor. When I left I told my husband Im too satisfied tonight

An all-time favourite Japanese/Korean restaurant. Its a small-cozy restaurant. Food for the hungry soul.

The exterior of the restaurant was somewhat odd, but it seems sushi restaurants shouldn t be judged by their cover. The sushi and food here is great quality, but the quantity for the price is outstanding. Most places would charge far more for the same dishes. The service and atmosphere was nice as well. When they brought out the sashimi dinner, I was pleasantly shocked by both the amount and quality of the slices of fish (20 pieces!). Would certainly come again and recommend! Kid-friendliness: Perfectly fine for kids, kind waitress.

Sushi House is one of the best places for real, flavourful good portioned Sushi in Brampton! This is my go to place for takeout Sushi for a great Friday night or (any night dinner). All the rolls are fresh and well portioned. My personal favourite items on the menu are the Takoyaki and Angry Crab Roll. Everything is delicious, always happy when its a Sushi House takeout night! The Service is also amazing, the workers are all so kind.

Ok place. Very expensive for what they serve. What they call tofu dinner was six pieces of soft tofu deep fried with teriyaki sauce, and they charged $18 for it.

Food and other things were good. However, it was Thursday night and there were many other tables were empty. As soon as we finished just last spoon, the waiter came to us and took the dishes out. And another lady brought the bill right after that. I felt they wanted to leave us or they didnt even want us to come there.

Sushi house was the best sushi spot in brampton for years. Everything was perfect. Staff, food, presentaion, pricing was resonable. The last 2 years Ive been going the food has had a noticeable decline. Tonights dinner was my worst experience so far. Ordered the salmon teriyaki. Salmon was unbelievable over cooked, tough, dry, and all the flavor cooked out of it. The house salad which I love the dressing was nothing more than about 6 pcs of lettuce swimming in dressing. The California rolls, also disappointed. The cucumber was soggy and not crisp. Lacking the bite that your looking for with fresh veggies. Very sad hopefully things will pick up

Good sushi in Brampton. Rice was fresh, which makes the sushi much nicer. The fish and other ingredients were also fresh. The portion sizes were generous and we even had enough for leftovers. An above average sushi spot if you are ever in Brampton. Would recommend for good sushi.

I love it here! Honestly the best sushi in Brampton (or even Peel). The rolls are really delicious and filling, and the sashimi and sushi is super fresh. We love getting the salmon sashimi because its so refreshing.

Miso soup was one of the best Ive had. Sushi was great too! Request: I wish they could create a few new signature rolls with the exciting Mayos and aioli. Staff was friendly, and the place is clean. Ill definitely be back for the Miso and try a new roll.

Our first visit and won t be our last! Our family of 4 had the sashimi/nigiri/sushi platter, nicely presented on the sushi boat. Everything was fresh, and delicious! The servers were attentive, warm and charming. Really nice atmosphere, we were surprised to find this gem in Brampton!

A welcoming sushi spot with a lively atmosphere. During my noon visit, the bustling restaurant was fully occupied, and the server mentioned a wait time exceeding 15 minutes for food. Seated in a room for eight, our tableware was initially sparse, but promptly replenished. With only one menu available, we had to request additional copies from the server. There was a minor mix-up with drink service, but we graciously accepted them. Opting for Lunch Bento #2, the dish impressed with its delightful presentation and delicious flavors. Accompanied by warm miso soup and another flavorful udon broth, the meal felt complete and satisfying. Despite the minor hiccups, the reasonable pricing and overall positive experience make me anticipate a return visit in the near future.

Best sushi restaurant in Brampton (accommodates vegans and dietary restrictions consistently they always get it right). Rolls are freshly made. Location is clean. Staff are lovely even when they re busy. If you order takeout pick up times can be long on certain days and nights since they do get busy (because they re so good) ensure you order ahead of when you actually need it! Enjoy!

Ive been coming here since I was a child and dont remember having a single bad experience. This is because the service here has been nothing but spectacular over the years and never seems to slip up. Not only is the service amazing, but the quality of the food is superb as well. Everything seems to be fresh and prepared properly. In my opinion, Sushi House is one of those restaurants that I often compare to other Japanese restaurants to see if they meet the bar of quality. Highly Recommended.

Restaurant in Brampton; very good quality of Nigiri, Sushi and other Calufirnia rolls.. On the other hand the sake was returned a few times to be reheated; They dont have Pinot Grigio white wine by the glass, only Chardonnay, but when youre taken, you take it, but you dont like it anymore... the air conditioning was too strong and you had to asked to lower it. The service at our table was not great. On the other hand, I had mentioned at the very beginning that I was celebrating my daughters birthday there.... nothing was emphasized. In the future, we will do as usual, order and pick up the order. But I must add that the pieces of fish are very large: the eel is delicious... in the future it will be easier to order in advance..

Fresh fish, decent portions and not overly priced. We got California roll, Dynamite roll, Green dragon roll and Salmon Nigiri sushi dinner. The only complaint I have is the rice in the Nirgiri was a little hard (under cooked).

This place is near my work. Great lunch spot before Covid lockdown. Back in the office full-time now and recently went to Sushi House and I think the sushi has gotten even better.

Worst sushi i have ever had. Overpriced for very poor quality sushi. No fresh ingredients and poor presentation as well. Very great service though. Just not good food and honestly there are better cheaper places to get sushi. Even walmart is better sushi at this point

Worst sushi I have had (not fresh nor flavorful and the service matched the sushi (complained and they said it is what it is, our drinks came out when we were leaving didn t offer to pack our left over not that we would want to)

Hands down the best sushi spot in Brampton. We frequent this resto quite often and it never fails to disappoint. The quality and service are clearly indicative of a 5 star experience (based on its price range category) which sets it apart from any other Japanese sushi restaurant in the GTA. Not a fan of the recent price gouging and reduced working hours however.

A restaurant located at a busy restaurant in downtown Brampton was not on our radar. The ratings beckoned us and I am glad we went. As vegetarians the freshness and variety of the sushi was a gastronomic delight. The service and cleanliness was above avergae. The ability to park at the GO parking offered convenience.
