We decided to try out Vietnamese cuisine in Saigon House and were not disappointed. We took Seafood noodle soup, chicken dumplings and General Tao's chicken with rice on the side. The wait time wasn't long, the food portions were generous, and the meal was delicious. The server immediately gave us a high chair for our baby on request and helped us keep her stroller in the restaurant. The servers were pleasant and helpful. On the whole, we had a very enjoyable experience.
Saigon House is easily one of our favourite go-to spots for a consistently delicious meal. Every time we visit or order take out, the portion sizes are generous, and the flavours are always what we have come to expect. Our usual order includes the Chicken Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Calamari, and Cold Shrimp Rolls with Peanut Sauce, and each dish always tastes as delicious as we remember it. The Chicken PadThai is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, while the Cashew Chicken is rich, flavourful and packed with crunchy veggies and plenty of cashews. The Calamari is always crispy and well-seasoned with a light batter and the Cold Shrimp Rolls are refreshing, paired perfectly with the creamy peanut sauce. Whether it's a quick weeknight dinner or a craving for fresh, vibrant flavours, Saigon House consistently delivers quality and flavour. The staff is super friendly and this particular location is a must-try if you’re looking for delicious and satisfying meals! Enjoy!!
Saigon House is a great spot for lunch. ✅The food is flavorful and satisfying, providing a hearty meal that will leave you full. It's a reliable choice✅
Saigon House serves Vietnamese-style cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. The food is comforting and flavorful, paired with friendly and efficient service. We visited on a weekday and were surprised by how quickly the place filled up. Once we started eating, it was clear why. For appetizers, the A6 Pan Fried Dumplings stood out with a crispy exterior and savory filling, while the A7 Chicken Wings were good but didn’t stand out. We ordered P7 (Rare Beef & Well-done Beef Flank) and P10 (Rare Beef & Brisket) with extra meat for our mains. We especially loved P7—highly recommended! The D7 (Lime, Mint & Lychee) drink was amazing. The soda mixed with fruity lychee made it the perfect pairing with our meal. However, the strawberry drink (D8: Lime & Strawberry) fell short, so we wouldn’t recommend it unless you prefer strawberry. We also tried V2a (Vermicelli with Spring Roll & Grilled Pork), but wouldn’t recommend it after a big bowl of pho—it was good, but we couldn’t finish it. Overall, we’d go back for A6, P7, and D7. Our experience was fantastic, and we’re excited to return!
The crispiest spring rolls I've ever had! The Rangoons were delicious, the grilled chicken was perfectly grilled and my bf really enjoyed his pho. Food came out quickly and service was great. Highly recommended!
I don't often give 5 stars, Saigon House deserves in this case. The standard Vietnamese dishes done exceptionally well and nice service as well. I particularly liked the vermicelli dish. Generous portions too. Lots of free easy to access parking.
I really enjoy eating here and takeout. The owner and staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. We have been going for over 20 years when they were in their prior location at 410 and Queen. My family and I really enjoy it!! I only wish the prices didn’t go up so high in the past few years but I think it’s just the economy so I’m giving 4 stars only. For 3 dishes it cost $65 which is a bit on the pricey side. 2 General Tao Chicken with white rice and 1 Beef Vermicelli with Spring Roll is what we ordered for takeout. Great food all the time though!!
It's the first time I've visited the restaurant at this location. Upon entering, you immediately proceed to a table and have menus and a piece of paper to write your order on the table of your choosing. The server brought over hot tea and gave us a few minutes to get our order together. We got the vegan pad Thai and a green curry. Both dishes were delicious and had a good serving size. I feel the green curry had too many vegetables to curry and tofu. Make sure you specify to make it vegan if you're vegetarian, the helpful server informed us that it has fish sauce otherwise. Good food, but ultimately I'm giving it four stars because I've had better Thai food in other restaurants.
Love the soups and fresh rolls. Staff is very nice.
Awesome place to visit specially if you are craving a good hot soup on a cold cold day Fast and good customer service Food
Its been a while since I had the pho here I remember it being good. I had lunch here and it was awful I spent 50& with a tip. I had the pineapple fried rice it was so plain and felt like I just ate rice. I had cheese wonton for 12$ for 7 small pieces not worth it at all. As well as 2 pieces of shrimp spring roll was decent. Overall nothing tasted bad but it didnt taste good either definitely not worth the price on any of the dishes I ate. I recommend just having the pho here.
DO NOT GO HERE. This place has horrendous service, atmosphere, and food. Had a dinner reservation and had to wave someone down to even get seated. Was not offered any water, they put tea down after 10mins then we had to wait another 30 to even get our order in. Appetizers took another 30mins, so we are at 1hr+ without any food. The appetizer portions are very small, defintiely not shareable amongst a group. They only brought 2/3 apps and brought the third with half of the mains yes half. The remaining entrees did not come until 7:37pm for a 6pm reservation. No apologies or customer service etiquette by the staff, very poor management. At this point we took our food to go, only for me to find out one side of my pad Thai noodles were molded together like a brick tasted like a burnt pan. Would never go to this place again, absolutely horrifying service and atmosphere overall.
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Brampton, I love the fact that they also have Thai options, what more could you ask for ?!
Great place to eat!
The food is always delicious, and we keep coming back for more. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and the service is friendly and quick. The portions are generous, and everything just tastes fresh. If you re looking for a place to satisfy your cravings, this is it!
Best Vietnamese food in Brampton hands down. The food, the service, the staff , the consistency. All amazing. Try everything and enjoy. You wont be disappointed. I always get the V3 - Vermicelli with pork and sausages. The best
Found a small sharp piece of plastic in my coconut soup. Good thing I chew my food. Good thing my kids didnt eat it. My trust is lost. Will only come back if I crave pho at 10AM as this is the only place in brampton that opens before 11AM. Please take your time when making food and ensure theres nothing hazardous in the dish.
Hot waiter. that s all you need to know..and food is good. but most importantly there s a hot waiter
Good Thai food. Have to try again to go for 5 stars
The food was sooo good and the price pretty good for the quantity and quality you get.
Trash food, trash service, I d rather eat garbage straight out the bin cuz that would be more sanitary and have more flavour. Waste of my money.
This place is trash.
They use toilet water to make their pho. Trash
Great food, great service. I took a star off only because I always find the restaurant hot and a bit uncomfortable in the summer. Plz turn air conditioning up, thanks
This place is a scam. Unlike other Asian restaurants, half or more of your dish container will be filled with white rice, while the other half will be the dish you ordered. This was the case for our $27 beef tenderloin dish or General Tao chicken. There couldnt have been more than 100g of beef in the dish. For $120, we got piles upon piles of white rice and barely enough of the ordered food to feed four adults. Too many choices to ever choose this place again.
Very nice restaurant. Affordable prices. Super fresh and delicious food. Pho is out of this world.
terrible service. ordered on uber eats one veggie pho and one chicken pho and they didn t label the broth containers so i couldn t tell which one was which (both looked exactly the same). called the restaurant to check and they first said they veggie broth looks lighter and has a different smell, to which i explained to them that they both look and smell the exact same. then they went on to say that they re both beef broth and that the VEGGIE PHO COMES WITH BEEF BROTH, AND THEY DONT CONSIDER BEEF A MEAT?? so rude and unhelpful. used to go here all the time but will never be returning.
I used to eat a lot of pho in Mississauga, but after moving back to Brampton most pho restaurants have been replaced with Indian ones. Thank God for this place. The porkchop dinner comes with 2 big pieces of pork, rice and salad for a good price. I get 2 dinners out of this. I will be coming back for more! Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed.
Lots of seating, big portions and delicious avocado shake and thai milk tea.
me and the same group of have been coming since 2020, never once have we had a bad experience
Unfortunately, the owner is very rude! Did not like a smoothie and informed the owner, she stood at the register and started questioning my taste buds. she refused to come to the table. she then came to the table and snatched my drink without telling me whether she would replace it or take it off my bill. She was visibly fuming. No apology, no customer service- nothing! Very rude! I will not going back, ever! Initially, i was just letting her know but when she treated me rudely, I decided to speak up regarding her attitude.
One of my favorite places in brampton, great food great prices!
Food is delicious and fresh every time
Cost so much for such small portions and mediocre quality. Ordered a side of beef balls and they charged $7 for 2.5 balls! There are much better quality and bang for your bucks elsewhere. The only reason I came here was because my go to pho restaurant closed at 9pm. But never again. Id rather drive to Vaughan or Mississauga than to waste a dollar here ever again.
DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to be robbed of your money! The food here sucked and is not worth the price. Had the pho, $15 for 3 bites worth of content. the broth was oily and had so much MSG that I woke up the whole the night drinking water. Ordered the soursop smoothie and it was basically crushed ice and water. I know theres not a lot of Vietnamese food in Brampton, but its shameful for you to pass your trash off to non-Viet people as Viet food. Shame on you.
Favourite spot for Pho! Lots of options on the menu. Service was amazing, Food was ready in 5 mins so perfect spot for lunch! Fresh complimentary hot tea as well.
Normally, the food is adequate, but I had a terrible experience yesterday with a phad see ew dish. The noodles were overcooked to the point that they were mushy, and their was barely any flavour. I ended up throwing the dish away because it tasted so bad.
First time here. Was satisfied with the lovely meal I had. I ordered steamed rice with beef & side dish of steamed vegetables. the steamed vegetables were bland and a bit disappointed but nonetheless I will definitely be back
Love it here! Me and my sister are here basically every week and the food and service is awesome. We don t wait too long for our food and it s tastes amazing everytime!
Food is always fresh and really good
I m obsessed with this restaurant! We come here all the time, and no matter what dish we order, it s fantastic!!! The staff are so kind and the ambience is lovely. Do not hesitate to try Saigon House, you won t be sorry!!! Dietary restrictions: Staff are very accommodating to dietary needs!
We picked up some food from this place after checking out the other Google Reviews. We got a udon seafood noodle dish, mango salad and a pineapple fried rice with chicken. The mango salad was delicious. The seafood udon was good with a variety of seafood (1 faux crabstick, 2 shrimp, 2 mussels, 1 piece of squid). The prices were quite high ($18 for the rice dish and the udon dish) and it didnt seem worth it. The rice dish definitely used precut frozen mixed carrots, peas and corn. It was also made without soy sauce because of my allergy. It tasted okay but I wouldnt get it again. Not sure if we will try this restaurant again. The people working at the front desk were nice enough but we had to tell 3 different people what our order was before someone finally got it.
They have excellent customer service, very quick to serve you. Pho soups are very tasty, clean, and organized restaurant. Unfortunately, the amount of soup they serve is smaller than other pho restaurants.
Was disappointed at first because the medium portion felt so small, shrinkflation is definitely a thing. The pho didn t taste great, was very mid and the server acted like hated being there. Very cold, didn t talk at all and looked upset the entire time. The cherry on top was the bug I found in my food, I had finished my first lime and was going for a second when I saw it smashed into the lime. I advised our server who asked me if it ended up there after she served it and I was like no, is smushed in, it was served like that. Gave the owner an opportunity to do something about it and they just said sorry. Horrible customer service. I didn t finish my pho and had to leave because I was getting queasy thinking about it.
So many delicious options to choose from. This is my second visit with a different dish. My first visit had beef rice and that was amazing! Definitely coming back for more dishes and someday a pho as well Parking: Shared parking lot among other restaurant and businesses. If directly there is no parking then a short walk from an empty spot is available.
We tried there veg noodles, chicken noodles and fried tofu. They also served hot tea to start with
I come here all the time and its great! HOWEVER...I ordered on the Uber Eats app today because I wasnt able to come into the store. The quality was VERY disappointing. Firstly the portion size was MUCH less. Then you have to pay $1.00 for Siracha sauce, another $1.00 for hoison sauce. Each condiment that you want, is an extra $1.00. I dont understand if its free in store, why do I need to pay an extra $1.00 for each condiment for take out? Additionally, there were zero limes packed in my package. Usually it comes with two pieces of lime. There were none. They DID pack some hoison sauce when I asked in the special instructions HOWEVER there was BARELY any hoison sauce in the container. I would say about 1/4 of a teaspoon. And although I asked for Siracha sauce, they provided one pack of chilli sauce. As much as I appreciate these efforts, they were very minimal. I am very disappointed because we come here all the time and its usually good. But I am very disappointed how they pack their Uber Eats orders, its VERY minimal.
Great flavourful profile with the Phô broth. Interior is pleasant and very clean. Service is fast. Price isnt cheap , but nothing is after the vid. Rice paper roll $9 Soup medium $15 After tax and tip a single person is spending $30-40 Easily.
Saigon House offers Vietnamese cuisine with generous portions ideal for sharing among groups of any size. Their vegetable tofu fried rice and chicken pad Thai are standout dishes, bursting with flavor and satisfaction. With a diverse menu featuring a wide range of options, theres something to please every palate. The unique self-checkout dining experience adds a touch of novelty to your meal, making Saigon House a must-visit for those seeking both delicious food and an interactive dining experience.
Came here with my mom during a snowstorm. Service was good; soup was nice and Hot. Staff was really accommodating. Would totally come back for my Pho cravings. Although I wish prices were lower but you know...inflation everywhere, what can you do.
Great spot with amazing food. Good service and friendly staff. The place is clean and well decorated. Highly recommend
The beef ribs my husband and I ordered wasnt fresh. It was so dry and chewy. Quite a disappointment and definitely not worth paying $26 per plate for poor quality of the food.
I don t thik they understand the spice level. I ordered pad thai with medium spicy. But it was bland no taste at all. No taste of sauce or anything just plain boiled noodles. I was so disappointed . wasted my money. And when i called the other day to ask for new order or my money back. The said that s how we make it we can do anything. I couldn t go on the same night cause it was too late and they were closed. So i called next morning,i also offered to bring the food as i didn t eat it. The lady was so rude to me. No customer service. I was surprised to see how they deal with unhappy customer
We love everything about this restaurant Food service and atmosphere
Great selection of tasty dishes. Service can be slow at busy times.
Just had the most amazing experience at Saigon House! From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was going to be a great meal. The atmosphere was so chill, with funky décor and music that just put me in a good mood. And let me tell you about the food it was out of this world! Each dish was packed with flavor and had me going back for more. But what really stood out was the friendly staff. They were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Cant wait to go back and try even more of their delicious dishes!
If this is Bramptons only surviving Thai restaurant, then I am disappointed. Had high hopes when I ordered take-out from here on Friday: spicy basil chicken and shrimp fried rice ($19), green curry chicken ($18), and spicy Thai basil beef tenderloin stir fry with vegetables ($20). Price point is very high for what you get. I dont mind the prices, as long as the quality and taste of the food makes it worthwhile. In this case, it sadly does not. The green curry tasted okay, but the vegetables described include eggplant, broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc. There were two tiny pieces of eggplant, and two pieces of broccoli, but the rest were peppers and onions. The rest of my order was even more pathetic. Very skimpy on protein. The chicken in the fried rice was very dry and there were 3 pieces of shrimp. Lots of plain rice though - not spicy at all, with frozen mixed veggies. I specifically asked the basil beef stir fry to be made spicy - it was not. The beef tenderloin: a few pieces of beef, but mainly said peppers and onions. Half of the container in the stir fry consisted of white rice. They dont pack the stir fry and the rice separately - no doubt to provide a smaller portion. Even the green curry container was only 1/2 full. Never coming back here again. There are better Pho/Thai places in Vaughan that are further, but the food is spectacular.
Great food great people a little pricey for the portion
Friendly staff. Bz dining on weekends Vegetarian options: Meatless. Parking: Plenty Kid-friendliness: Kids are awesome Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room
Their food meets the overlapping dietary restrictions of my family Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and many more options available. Customizations upon request too. Parking: Large lot
Cant go wrong at this place when you like Pho. Havent changed in quality since Ive eaten last the 2 years. Usually order the house special, spring rolls and the fried rice with short ribs and shrimps.
First time I had this type of food and my God loved every minute of it. For my first time for pho I now love it and want more I had the extra large rare beef and it was just right with green tea
Our first time in this location, we normally go to the one in bramalea mall and always had wonderful experience.Hubby ordered pho beef and I ordered wonton soup. His food arrived first had a spoonful of the broth and found a bee in it. We weren t gonna post a review but the lady manager/supervisor didn t even apologize and all she said was bee in this weather? . We just left as we felt uncomfortable eating there
Delicious!
What a lousy place to eat. I ordered a mango salad. They brought a huge bowl with huge pieces of mango and even bigger pieces of onions. It had a few cashews strewn about. I had to chew and chew my way through. 13 dollars for that. Then I ordered crispy shrimp. A small Plate of 3 little fellows for cad 9 My hubby ordered banh Mi. The meat was chewy . Had no flavor. That was a waste of 40 dollars for some really disappointing food and even lousier service. No one is avaliable at the counter. Their back is mostly turned away from you. You have to vie for their attention. Meh!
Staff were overrun, lots of delays, food was not cheap and made in a hurry, horrible experience, never returning. Vegetarian options: They were present
Me and my family have been going to this restaurant for over 10+years, love their service and food! Great spot in Brampton and happy they are back in a nice location!
The only pho location weve had that gives the most amount of meat in our pho. Tasted delicious. Quick service and location was nice.
I have been coming to Saigon House since they first opened at the old location for many years now and I still love them! The owner has always been very nice to my family and I and they are still our favourite pho restaurant in Brampton.
Portion size was good. General Tso could be better. The size of green peppers was gigantic. I will visit this place again.
Staff are unfriendly and inattentive. Very long wait for food.
What an amazing restaurant, we had chicken and beef pho and pork dumplings soup. Rich in taste and flavorful. Must try place
My go-to pho spot in Brampton
Food was really good, went with family. Found a bit pricey but then again thats everywhere these days.
service is trash came to order soup and waited for more than half hour people coming in after me and getting food before me makes no sense
Honestly love the food but they ve recently raised the prices and the portions have been getting smaller and smaller one thing I love about the cuisine is the food is good and they see to it that your full.. idk what s been going but as a big fan I m not impressed lately
A simple restaurant, nothing fancy inside, but clean. The food tasted good, but we wished the Pho soup had more noodles in it. The rolls were good as well, but both shrimp and vegetables were a bit on the chewy side. Thats why food only gets 4
Very good bun cha gio! The portions are huge and the crispy spring roll is to die for. The com op la is over easy with runny yolk
I havent had pho this good in a long time! The broth was deep and rich but not overwhelming, just refreshing and good for the soul. Service was great and the price was very fair!
Fresh and clean
My go-to restaurant for Viet cravings. Food are consistent, restaurant is clean and spacious, and staff are friendly. Ive tried their Pho, Bun Bo Hue, and Vermicelli Noodles and its always delicious. One thing I would not get here is their Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls.(barely any traces of shrimps and its mostly lettuce and noodles), thus lost a star. Otherwise Id recommend it 100%! Parking: Limited spot directly infront of restaurants but tons within the plaza.
Very Good food Soups amazing, portions great. Staff great. Prices ok. Would have liked to have more flavour in the dishes we ordered. Will come again.
Wow! Just ordered from Uber eats - ordered the red curry with chicken (it did come with steamed rice, and I didn t know that so I ordered a side rice) it was SO SO good. Probably one of the best ones I ve had. I couldn t stop eating it, the serving size is quite big! Enough for 2 people, but I polished it of on my own. I also ordered the rice egg and chicken for my toddler. She LOVED it, she kept wanting more. The perfect meal for a young family
Great place. The ambience is nice and most of all the food is great. We love the vermicelli here. Feels light as well as fulfilling at the same time. General Tao s chicken and rice is good too. Been here multiple times and haven t been disappointed so far.
Its a little pricy compared to other restaurants.
This spot never disappoints. The service is always quick and friendly. The food is delicious. My daughter loves it here and it s always her first choice when it s her turn to decide where to eat.
The food was delicious...except for the add ins. My niece and I were lucky not to break our teeth. It felt like shards of pottery or ceramic, or a hard plastic. I think something broke in the kitchen. Both orders of the Pad Thai were contaminated. I will let the restaurant know. Had it not been for that, if have given 5 stars.
Their General Taos Chicken is great! The staff is very courteous and the service is pretty quick.
Original 5 star, this is our go-to place for Thai food. Really good Pad See-Ew, Green Curry and Thai iced tea. As a result we take a lot of our friends and family here. Recently, had quite a bad experience here. The restaurant closes at 10pm and we reached 930pm. The staff seemed unwelcoming, and I get it, its the end of the shift so I specifically asked if its ok to dine in or we can come another day. He went to ask another team member and we were seated. We were ready with the order in 5 min as we had been told that the last orders were going in. The food was not at all up to the mark, all requests had been ignored, and it wouldve been ok if its just us, which means 2 dishes but today we had our friends over and ordered 4 drinks and 5 dishes. For a price of $130 we had below standard food and it was very much unexpected. I passed on the feedback to the manager but there was no acknowledgement. Lesson for self and others - If you decide to go here please give a buffer of 1 hour at least before closing. What really hurt was the attitude of the staff, they didnt pass any instructions to the kitchen and lied to the face by saying they did. We only realized later after talking to the front desk. Also, the fact that they said theyre ok with serving but in fact they were not.
Service is good and quick, and the broth is one of the best in Brampton. Portions are a good size too. Even the furniture is nice and comfortable, and the place is nice and spacious. One of the most consistent Pho spots in the city, definitely give them a try!
Great food!
Their food was amazing! I will definitely go back
This Saigon House is one of the best Vietnamese Restaurants I have been to! So clean, and professional. Selection of food and quality is high quality. It is good to see some high quality restaurants are able to survivie here after the pandemic. This dish is Mild Pineapple Curry with Halibut + Shrimp. Vegetarian options: They have vegetables with tofu options for many dishes.
Four stars really? This is not Thai food. Not even close. Food is tasteless. Been here a few times to see if it was maybe the dish but no none of it is really beyond mediocrity.
Like it very much.
been coming here since the pandemic, the owners are very nice and always recognize us! food always hits, (only calamari one time wasn t fresh but we ve gone at-least 20 times) highly reccomend! Food : 5/5
Should have listened to one of the previous reviews. It happened again. I ordered chicken pad thai for take out. Flavour and portion size is decent. However, there seems to be some hard foreign non food piece incorporated in this dish. It looks like part of a peanut piece but it is not. Lucky it did not chip my teeth when I bit it while eating. It could have been a bone piece or part of a broken dish of the kitchen. What ever it is, should not be in a chicken thai dish.
Good tasting food
I go here almost every week, best customer service and great food
Fresh, hot food. Friendly waiters
28 minutes wait time. Sucks
Good dine in restaurant with lot of options. The food was good and the service
The best place to eat in Brampton. Be it take out or dine in it never disappoints.
Amazing, delicious food, atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. You must try this restaurant, you won t be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Lots of options
It was okay. The food is definitelyon the salty side. Not friendly to those with allergies. Customer was good.
This place is wonderful and weve been here many times! Their food is always delicious and flavorful. Theyre mostly a friendly group and communicate well most of the time. The staff are generally accommodating even when busy, and I feel they are very clean. We generally go for Pho which is always yummy. They have great spring rolls too, esp if you dont mind some deep fried decadence occasionally...lol. Im positive everything on the menu would be yummy. I really like this place for take out or dine in. Follow up to previous review: Since the last review, this place has changed for the worst. Maybe theyre busier rendering quality much less than satisfactory! Several of my last orders have been awful...Im not being impossible either! The Phó, which was once pretty close to amazing, has disappointed too many times this past few months. Phó is all about the broth and theyve failed greatly at maintaining their once yummy broth. The broth is watered down and theyre obviously trying to make up for it by adding way too much fish sauce. Very unimpressed and Phó broth is traditionally and uniquely rich and robust in flavor! I literally wanted to take it back and demand my money, as its $34 now for 2. Time to find another Phó restaurant. The rice noodles are far too over done which completely ruins the whole bowl, rice noodles are supposed to be firm not like mush! What a sloppy mess! Please get back to quality Phò as your loyal customers deserve that! Sincerely and thanks.
Worst bahn mi sandwich I ever had... they used lettuce instead of cilantro
Ordered a Banh MI and got a dog **** sandwich instead. It was 75% bread, barely any pate or meat. Had lettuce instead of cilantro. The bread was the cheapest French stick you could buy. All this for $16 and it was tasteless and bland. Never again.
Ordered drinks, drinks never came.
A bit pricey
It s the first time I ve been here. At first glance, it s not very welcoming, and seemed like a cafeteria. Our server barely spoke a word we could hear. She seemed like she didn t want to be there. When we were eating, our server was cleaning cutlery in the dining area. The whole time we were listening to her tossing the utensils in a basket; which made for a not so nice dining experience. There was a table next to us that tried to get her attention. She didn t go over to their table to see what they wanted, they had to speak to her from across the restaurant. The food however was delicious! We ordered the calamari, pad see ew and general Tao chicken. The portions were good. There were sauces on the table which went well with the dishes. Unfortunately, all the food came out at the same time. Maybe next time I will do take out.
The taste of meat Its delicious Highly recommended Try the pork chop
Our favourite Vietnamese place in Brampton!
Finally have had a chance to dine in here on a few occasions with family and it is clean with ample seating for bigger parties. Previously ordered on Doordash during the pandemic and have to say the food portions were always good, great quality and packed well. This has quickly become my new fave go to for Vietnamese. If you want pho, grilled meats on vermicelli (bun) or some excellent green yellow Thai curry, this place will satisfy. Update: they are only available now on Uber Eats. You can also order online from their own website for pickup.
Alert !!! There s a fly in the pho!!!
This place has amazing food! Fresh and delicious. It is also a clean restaurant and rather calm!
Bad service very slow! Not even busy or full! Doesn t taste good! Better before! Probably new management/people! Never again!!!
Placed an order and because I aided steam rice under notes they said to contact Uber Eats who told me to contact the restaurant. Without informing me Saigon house staff was rude and canceled my order. I goi called several times. No one picked up the phone. Bad experience with them
Its ok
The food is good but the portion has gotten so much smaller and the price gone up too. That doesn t make sense.
Parking: Park anywhere in that plaza Recommended dishes
I have to say, wasn t expecting this place to be so good! Normally I take a picture of the food to illustrate, but it was actually so delicious in smell and taste that I completely forgot. Just keep in mind on the menu that if it says spicy, they re not lying! The service was also very good, my friend and I even had great banter with the waitress. We also didn t wait long for our food, and the free green tea is much appreciated. The only qualm would be the atmosphere, from what I ve said you may not exactly expect that quality walking in. A little touch up in places say the entrance may be needed. Otherwise, a great place!
I didnt like the food. They used to be better. And it its pricey.
Second time I got served with a dirty bowl.
The best! That is all! So good every time.
Great Vietnamese and Thai food. If you want some pho or some green curry, Saigon House is a great place to go.
Excellent food in a cosy restaurant.
Came during lunch time, I really liked how self serve it was. You had your own cutlery at your seat, a paper to put down your order for your server to take, pretty straight forward which I liked. The food was delicious, ordered the T3 (vermicelli noodles with minced shrimp, minced pork and grilled chicken) chicken was perfectly cooked, the minced pork was sweet and the minced shrimp worked perfectly in the dish. Had an amazing experience and will come back
Been comming here for over 15 years with previous location the best.
Update 2023/09/21 - I ve been coming to this location since the Bramalea location closed. It has been much better in terms of service and I really enjoyed the food. I decided to do an Uber eats order for lunch, got the rice with beef. The beef was extremely tough and chewy to eat. I ve ordered this dish while eating at the restaurant and it was delicious. I don t know what happened with the Ubereats order though. It just looks like the beef was maybe overcooked? Disappointed. The food was decent, wish the eggs weren t so over cooked. I like when the yolk is a bit runny with the rice. The service is a bit slow, it s like a one man show over here. Looks like they do a lot of take out orders, which they seem busy with. The restaurant did get busy, which delayed the service and paying at the cash.
I always come here and get their pad Thai, it s very good! Would recommend getting that and if you want something that is less saucy then try the pad see ew with chicken and shrimp
Broth tasted good, but unfortunately the black pepper in our soup was these little black bugs. Happened twice in a row.... makes me wonder how many others are getting the free protein special. The staff was nice. Wasnt mad... prep cook needs to do a better job i know its hard to find good help nowadays... Good luck to you and the restaurant but we wont be coming back
The restaurant looks clean and new. We got grilled pork vermicelli and grilled pork chop rice. Both dishes were delicious.
Great food amazing atmosphere amazing staff
Friendly service, food was fresh and ample sauces n coriander. Tender beef tips, generous amount of shrimp in fried rice. Sizable portions!
We love our visits at Saigon house. Great service and food is delicious plus Clean place. Food
Saigon house has been a go-to for my family for years. The service and food is quite good and reasonably priced. Today I decided to spend a little extra and try the Khao Soi. When I tell you I violated that bowl like it was my last meal... Im already addicted, I was devouring it like it was our honeymoon Im ngl. Anyways the only bad thing I could say about it is that in the picture it was swimming in curry but when it came to the table I was worried they didnt put in any at all. To saigon, just add a little more curry so it presents when it is brought to the table, other than that it was perfection, thank you!
Very good service. I had the veggie pho, a lot of veggies and yummy broth. Definitely worth checking out Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of veggie options.
Great food. Service is quick and clean
That was some amazing pho!
Great staff, wonderful food
Great food met with outstanding customer service - what a wonderful mix!
We visited here a couple weeks back and had the pork wonton soup, Rare beef pho and the rice with salad, fried egg and beef on top. The portion sizes were decently large for the money you spend so it was worth the time and the beef was really tender and juicy. The pho was amazing and tasty and so were the pork wontons. Parking is free and lots of space in the big plaza. Highly recommend.
Place has good food and is consistent with it. I recommend the green curry with shrimp.
Great place for takeout theyre always so fast to take your order and have it done in 15 minutes or less. If youre looking for a quick pickup right off the highway highly recommend giving them a shout. Rice dishes and beef ball soup are delicious, fairly priced and filling.
I visited Saigon House restaurant with the intention of trying some delicious Thai cuisine. I ordered the green curry with rice, and it didnt disappoint. The portion size was ample, offering great value for the money. The restaurant had a spacious and comfortable ambiance. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
Update: They do seem to listen to criticism and I ve noticed better noodle portions (albeit smaller portions overall) But been going here quite often, unfortunately during my most recent visit, there seemed to be a small bug in my pho. Does quite ruin the experience. Maybe I should have mentioned it to the employees, but either way, does show that this could be an unsanitary environment. Do they even listen to customers and reviews anymore? Old review: Nice place, been going here consistently with my girlfriend. I would say the food and service is great. Pretty nice area with open windows when the sun is out. Only complaint would be for more noodles in the pho, but overall its a great spot. The Vietnamese iced coffee is amazing and I always stop by for it !
Ordered take out on the way home and wasnt disappointed. Pho broth tasted great. Good portion. Good crispy spring rolls, ps: would be nice to have more dip for rolls. Would come back again! Cheers
We come often but not thr biggest spenders. I was really disappointed tonight. 34 mins after all my family got their food my friend rice showed up. I had to deny it. What was the point, everyone had eaten. Whats sad is they did not even try onceto remediate and win the customer. How sad. Small restaurants complain they dont get help but they really drop the ball on service.
My ultimate favorite spot, where impeccable service meets culinary perfection! Each visit guarantees a warm reception and a menu that never fails to impress. For those who appreciate both exceptional service and exquisite flavors, this place is an absolute gem!
We did take out tonight. Beef and chicken Pho, fried rice with veggies and shrimp, pork and extra noodles. Fresh ingredients, lots layers to the flavour z Kids 2-17 raved about it. It was pretty popular, judging by the customers coming in and out. I had small kids so the staff helped me out to the car.
Indulging in takeout from Saigon House is always consistently fresh and on point. The extensive menu guarantees the best variety and flavour, with each dish radiating authenticity and delicious flavour. What sets them apart, beyond their exceptional food, is the diverse range of drink options. Its a refreshing bonus that complements the deliciousness of their meals. Saigon House never fails to impress with its unbeatable combination of flavours and drink choices.
The noodle soup was disgusting and not cooked well
I placed an order for a beef pad Thai which was dry and the meat tasted old. I called as soon as I noticed and spoke with a manager and returned to the store for a refund with my fill container of food. The manager I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and defensive as soon as I came into the store. She refused a refund and wanted to give me only chicken of Thai which is not what I had ordered and refused to give me the difference. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes and claims since they have no previous complaints about any of their food there is no reason why she should give me a refund. This is unacceptable behaviour as I was kind and patient about getting this matter resolved and was met with her and another employee bullying me and telling me I was lying and that food was missing which it was not.
Good food, excellent service
Great pho and really good iced coffee (not too watery, super strong and sweet). I came around 11am when it wasn t too busy. Staff was kind and there was no hassle with allergy modifications to my meal. Vegetarian options: Some dishes offered tofu or veggies instead of meat.
The best Spring Rolls , Chicken/Beef Pho and Wonton Soup I have ever had ... Way to go Saigon house keep up the awesome food !
Service was awful, we were ignored for most of our time there. Food was good though
Disappointed, food portions are small and it s way overpriced, loud atmosphere at the time
Just got the tofu soup , and I say I m not exaggerating there was a single piece of tofu in it lol. I don t know how the restaurant will survive with such generous portions . Edit : found another one so make it 2. Seems like they threw the vegetables without chipping way too big in size.
Price: $$ Order: vermicelli noodles with beef, pad thai Service: Pleasant and friendly. Moderate delay in service Food taste: Excellent flavours. Portions: Large. Presentation: Beautiful presentation. Menu / Variety: Vietnamese menu Cleanliness: Resturant was clean. Ambiance: Very nice Overall experience: B+ Do I Recommend: Yes Will I return: Yes
Absolutely love this place! The owner is so nice and Ive known her since the older location. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. My favorite Pho place in Brampton!
The food is AMAZING!! The only place so far where i have enjoyed delicious and healthy food. On top of they they are open till late.
A clean restaurant. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Food was served quick and everything was delicious :)
But takeout food did not taste good. And I love Vietnamese food.
Great food, large portions Im coming back again!!
Service could be better - took a while to understand that I wanted a side order or chicken, not chicken noodles. Food was okay - not a good portion of noodles in the veggie pho
The owner cheated on my bill. I ordered a small bowl of pho, she changed me the price for medium and when I asked her she said medium means small. How ridiculous! Go to Pho Mi 66, better service, cleaner and most importantly tastier food.
The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. The walls are adorned with cute Vietnamese artwork. Clean environment. This is my go-to referral restaurant for Vietnamese food in Brampton.
2 stars just for the ambience and service . we went for dinner for the very first time . We ordered crab rangoon . Those were the smallest crab Rangoon s I have ever seen . Further it was not at all creamy . No cream cheese !!!! After that we skipped the plan for dinner and left . Not a very good experience.
Absolutely love the food and service at this place. So glad they moved to a bigger better space but the quality of the food is just as amazing as before. Definitely worth a visit and meal!
Fantastic spot, the pho is great. I always recommend the fried tofu with peanut sauce and the general Tao chicken, five stars Pho sure :)
Five stars all around. Airy space, very clean, friendly, quick service and AMAZING food. Sadly it was eaten too quickly for photos, so youll need to take my word for it. 10/10 coming back.
