What a great find. Great service and exceptional food. The house made chili oil was amazing,so much in fact that I bought one to take home.
The food was great and there was a huge variety, multiple types of sushi, multiple desserts, you won't be disappointed by the variety. It was a buffet, so service wasn't the focus, but still the servers looked after taking away empty plates and made sure you had the drinks you wanted. The area was just a large room, so the atmosphere wasn't amazing, but it has decorations and themes that fit nicely
Our server was very friendly and attentive, excellent service. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very clean. Our server informed us there was no buffet at this location, but the menu has a good selection to choose from and is reasonably priced. We ordered a battered shrimp and a Chop Suey dish. The Chop Suey was excellent, very flavourful and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp batter lacked some seasoning, but it came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce, so it tasted fine. Both dishes were fresh and of good proportions. The restaurant is situated near the hospital, This being our first time here, we weren't sure how the parking worked, so we parked across and a bit down the street. We didn't mind the little walk as it was a beautiful day out. I later asked our server and she said they will give you a parking pass when you leave to validate your parking, so it is of no charge to you. We had a very enjoyable experience here and highly recommend this place. We will surely visit again when in Brandon.
We went here for their lunch buffet. The food was delicious as we expected. We usually also do take out from them. Every time, we are happy with the service and the food. My favourite thing about Kim’s is that the restaurant is always so clean and the washrooms are also always kept clean. I wouldn’t say the food is outstanding. It’s your typical Americanized Chinese food. I would say it beats mall food though. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the Brandon area.
I understand why this place gets great reviews. The pho was as good as it gets. Parking is tough in that area being near the hospital, but they give you a parking pass when you leave to validate your parking so it is of no charge to you. Friendly service. Will return for sure, like to support this business.
It was our first time going to this restaurant, as we are not from Brandon. Came as a group of 8 and they provided us with the best customer service possible! We ordered the dinner for 8, the food came out quick and tasted amazing. An abundance of food that was definitely worth the price. The service was 10/10, we will definitely be coming back again!
Loved their salad rolls with peanut sauce . The picture is deceiving, the salad rolls were huge and I could only eat 4 pieces. My friend had the small wonton would which was quite a big portion. Nicely decorated restaurant and the staff was very friendly and the service was very quick. I would defeibelty go back there and I would highly recommend this place.
I had lunch here and from the start I was very impressed. It is clean and the staff were very friendly. A lunch buffet was going on, however I ordered off the menu. The buffet looked pretty good, but I was craving Pho. So I ordered Pho and spring rolls. Both very delicious. I would highly recommend eating here. And I would definitely go back whenever I pass through Brandon. I went back for a second day. And tried the BBQ pork buns and the Vermicelli. Very delicious. Don’t mind the bite from the bun in the photo. I could not wait.

#1 place to go! Food comes out quick, everything tastes amazing. The value is incredible. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. The rolls are fantastic, best ones I ve had in Manitoba. It was so good we ve ended up going 3 times in a week!
Everytime I go to have a nice evening dinner at Kim s with my 3 close friends. The are usually very rude and and carefree. The last time I visited. We were even asked to leave before the closing time (while we were eating) just because we were the only ones there and they wanted to close. Spoken to very rudely and always acting like they are too busy for the customers. I love eating there but the behaviour and attitude of the staff especially the manager is horrible. They need to work on the way they attend to customers.
We came in as a group at the last hour after studying. The timing wasn t the best but the wait staff was so amazing and nice! The food was just absolutely heavenly too!!

This should be a regular stop for anyone wanting Chinese/Vietnamese food in Brandon. Large portions, usually enough for 1½-2 meals. Vegetarian options: Great selection.

Went there with my girlfriend and a friend. We all ordered different dishes . Im vegan and they also had a few options. The waitress made sure to tell the cook. Nice service and nice ambiance.

This place deserves more business, some of the best sushi Ive ever had, and the pho soup portions were HUGE. If you havent eaten for 3 days, one bowl of it will fill you up. It isnt overpriced either. Also, tip for ya, they pay for your parking!
Affordable, fast, delicious, fresh
The menu has changed substantially and the store of McTavish and 1st was not open due to vacation time, which is understandable! The travel time to pick up on Victoria was okay, but not usual for us! We have been ordering from Kims for a number of years. Hubby went to pick it up, the food was ready and it was hot when he got it home! The flavours were okay, but there were no Sczechaun noodles just fat noodles! As well, there was no lemon chicken and I know I ordered 2 Lemon chicken, as that is Dads favourite. There were 7 of us for dinner so it was a disappointment. The food was okay, but not as good as last year from the other store.

I had the best Pho soup West of Vancouver, i also had the Best Las Vegas roll, they call it deep fried California roll, but call it good. I normally bash restaurants but not Kims. Only down side is parking, but theyll pay for it if you ask

What can be better than good quality food, variety galore, and all at a great price! I had the pho soup and sushi delicious! Oh, and when you go to the location on 1st street and McTavish, they will valet your parking when you park in the paid parking lot next to their building.
Ive been to Kims (on Victoria) but as Im not from Brandon, I told my cab driver to drop me off. This is my first time at the First location and it was just as good. Theres a young lady that was very courteous and nice! She was smiling and friendly. To top things off, the pho was great! Thanks guys!
This was for the second time in a row THE WORST FOOD AND SERVICE. I do NOT reccomend this place this is specifically to this one location only. When i called to get this straightened out the person who dealt with me would not offer any help or resolve. Terrible food quality.

Been coming here for 4 years now. No matter how busy it is, the owners always come out to greet us. Food has always been clean and spectacular. Much good things to say. Will be moving away.. going to miss this place and the owners! Go here for food.

Great food and service. Usually order delivery as our 3 kids are young and hard to enjoy restaurant experience with them. Our only complaint would be there needs to be ordering online with picture menu of the food items, with simple click picture ordering. We dont always know the name of what we like to eat, but clicking picture would be so simple.

A great first experience for us ordering delivery to the hotel. A friend whos lived in Brandon for some time recommended Kims. The delivery person was prompt and polite, and the food exceeded our expectations. Fresh, good portions, we will be looking forward to dining in on our next visit.
The service is spectacular, the food is insanely good and the atmosphere is so charming and homely. Its a casual place, but it feels so special all at the same time. Buffet is $18.99 for supper, Im not sure about lunch! I would highly highly highly recommend this place for a great bite of Asian cuisine!

We arrived shortly before closing and inquired about the Buffet. We were informed that the items available were limited, but we totally enjoyed all the food. The service was excellent. Would totally recommend this restaurant,and will visit again, earlier in the day.

pretty mediocre .... on par for small town food. had curry chicken fried rice.. didnt taste fresh.... the rice tasted and looked like it was reheated from the day before. came out to 12 something after tax. disappointing. 12 dollars for some cheap tasting msg salty tasting food. people saying this is best place in town? wow.... I wonder if those are fake reviews.... this place charges alot and seems to really just cheap out and mail it in.

Clearly the owners have changed at the first street location. Food arrived by delivery an hour and a half after the time of ordering. Deluxe wonton soup is now deluxe water soup. Salad roll was only half rolled and everything fell out. Expensive disappointment. Will never go to this location again. :(

5 stars just arent enough for this establishment if you ask me. I frequent Kims a lot and as a Celiac it is hard to eat out Kims is very accommodating they will make something gluten free if they can I always order yakemein soup (sp) which isnt gluten free on the menu but ask for rice noodles instead of the regular noodles and they will change it also ask for no crispy onion. now granted the last time I attendend the restaurant there was an oopsie where the onions were accidentally put in so i couldnt finish my meal when i saw them I wasnt upset people make mistakes sometimes and I love all the options kims has for me now this was about two weeks ago i would say and tonight when my man and i went to kims we ordered sushi i am sure they were shocked. i had ordered a roll that had soft shell crab in it thinking its real crab i can eat it! but unfortunately i was informed after ordering that it wasnt gluten free so they didnt make it and i avoided some awkward interactions. now the big kicker of tonight they remembered the issue i had the last time i was in and had made me a yakemein soup to take home! i was shocked and so appreciative. these guys absolutely go above and beyond in their customer service. i love coming here and will continue to come so long as they offer their A+ service and gluten free options.
OK. Nothing to write home about. Average, greasy Chinese-Canadian food. Was hoping for something more authentic.
Found this place during a road trip. From Toronto to Hong Kong, this was hands down best Asian fast food Ive had. Flavourful and filling dishes that dont skimp on ingredients. I highly recommend trying out the Vietnamese pho and Cantonese chow mein.

Came in at around 7 pm for dinner and didn t realize the buffet closed at 7:30 pm (when we said we were getting the buffet no one mentioned this). They did not replenish anything on the buffet. For example I was hoping to have some sushi and when I asked if they would make any more I was told I should have come earlier; that the buffet opens at 5 and is full then. Disappointing service and old lack lustre food. Go early if you want the buffet or order off the menu I guess!
