I think this is a hidden gem. First time there. An absolute great breakfast and the staff were very friendly. It s a little old school, old records on the wall. Old fashioned. I liked it

Servers are friendly and kind. Very bubble and outgoing. The food is awesome lots of homemade choices. I definitely recommend you check out this locally-owned ma-pa kind of vibe restaurant. Very welcoming every time. Kid-friendliness: They treat children like there own.

A perfect small-town style diner in the city. Food is great and consistent, service is quick and friendly and you can order pickup from here too.

Good quantity and quality of food and atentive staff. Booths are getting a bit tattered though. Parking: I dont think Ive seen the lot ever be completely full, so parking should always be pretty safe. Wheelchair accessibility: Part of a strip mall so no issues getting in if you can get to the strip mall.

The steak breakfast was horrible. It was so bad that I did not want whoever cooked it to cook anything else for me so I left. The server was nice.

Food was definitely homemade and tasty. I enjoyed that the server was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was very clean and menu prices comparable to other restaurants. All around, it is a great place for everyone to eat.

Excellent home style food and good value. Edit: I came here a second time and once again it was good food and value. On my first visit my colleague had roast beef dinner and I breaded chicken breasts. Portion size is very good. On our second visit I had the Mushroom burger with their fantastic fries. My colleague had steak and shrimp. We will be returning next time we are in Brandon. Keep up the good work Patches!

Comfort food and great service

Patches has the tastiest most satisfying home fries, I would wager they are the best Ive ever had! The service it second to none! I also love the miniature display, so neat!

My husband and I dined there on Saturday. Two bites into my burger and I pulled out a long hair from my mouth. Although the waitress removed the burger from the bill, I dont think I should have paid for the fries and drink. Both my husband and I lost our appetites and didnt eat the rest of our meals. She wasnt apologetic, she just kept saying I dont know how this happened Last time we ever eat at Patches. It used to be a good place to go.

Honestly the best restaurant Ive ever been to. Great menu selection, the food is great at a lower price than the other restaurants in the area, the atmosphere is warm and homey, and the service is great. Its my friends and Is new favourite spot!

Just had a drink -orange float OMG havent had one of these in years. Although, not on the menu, the owner made it work. . He was friendly and accommodating. Havent been here since the pandemic. Seeing he has home made fries , always a number one hit with me. Returning very soon. Food

Patches is a fantastic little family restaurant. Nothing super fancy, but clean, comfortable, the service was on the spot, and the food was very very good. We will be back again soon. I would recommend this restaurant .

The Travelodge across the street does not have free breakfast so we went here. Great choice! Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, hot fresh and tasty. Good prices too.

Awesome awesome supper

Dingy and dated. Food was mediocre at best , I could taste everything that was cooked on the flattop the day before in my eggs. The toast was barely cooked. The waitress was more worried about sitting at a table and talking then taking our order or topping up coffee / water. Its only saving grace seems to be that it opens an hour earlier than anywhere else

Good place to go for comfort food and fast, friendly service. The home fries were delicious! I would get the Reuben again. I like that the specials are posted on Facebook along with a picture. I would suggest updating the opening hours and including a menu on the restaurant website (although I think this info is current on the Facebook page).

This place is so awesome!! I got the soup of the day! So flavorful and awesome! I got the clubhouse sandwich and alot of places have dry turkey. Not this place! Ill say its one of the best clubhouses Ive ever eaten! Great family restaurant. Super friendly staff! Their homemade fries are super tasty as well!! Thanks Patches!

Staff were friendly. Restaurant is cozy & ordinary with tables & booths. Pricing is reasonable. Menu has lots of variety: sandwiches, soups, meals, burgers & breakfasts: average price $14/ meal.

OMG, this restaurant is outstanding! The food is always amazing and the staff go out of there way to make you feel like youre at home!!! Highly recommended! You can tell that the staff are happy it shows in there work!!!

If you are thinking about driving by and finding another place to eat, pump the breaks, make a U turn. The food was amazing, came out blazingly fast and was piping hot. The service was exceptional! My best friend and i have now chose Patches to be our restaurant. 100% would reccomend this to everyone i meet! Amazing amazing! They dont skimp on the quality, in every detail!

Patches was excellent Waitress came to the table with a huge smile and kept smiling the whole time we were there Great start We ordered food came out very quickly The food was great tasty with a decent presentation The atmosphere was an old 50s restaurant which is cool The one issue I had was the mens restroom was clean but not really clean Needs alot of attention behind toilet and along sides The complete bathroom truly needs a paint job at minimum But I did not plan on sleeping there so I can get by this because of the service and decent food quality

Service was great. A friend took me to this spot as I enjoyed brunch, and I ordered eggs benedict, coffee, and a side of bacon. It came to $21 oh, I was a bit surprised but it is what it is. The breakfast was good however I found that there was a little too much sauce which made the bread a bit soggy, but tasty.

Wasnt expecting much from this tiny place but very impressed. Super service and our breakfast was made to perfection. Poached eggs were soft as requested, GF bread was available, and the bacon was perfectly done with tiny onions added to home pan fries. Please dont change your cook! The only improvement I could recommend is to remove the 80s tacky rock music. Why have to have music on anyway? And update the ceiling. Thanks so much!!

Dining area was small and looked kinda sad. The only cute thing in there was the Patches sign on the back wall. Menus were water stained and the adult cups were way too small. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We all left with full bellys, so the food was decent. Just needs a little pick me up in the dining room for sure. Get rid of the sticky leathery table covers.

Stopped in for lunch & it was pretty busy. Service was fast and pleasant. The food was served hot & fresh although the bacon was slightly over crispy. The food & our experience was overall a good one. Would definitely be coming back here in the future.

Moderate quality, inconsistent service, and a very dated building/atmosphere. However the city offers few non-chain alternatives for lazy Sunday dining, so its tolerable. Wouldnt recommend to friends, but wouldnt say no to an invite.

Its hard to eat dessert without knife n fork. Menu not updated and pan fried hash browns were deep fried. Wasn t too impressed.

We happened on this place after walking out of HUMPTYS ON 18th street due to staff not caring we were waiting almost 20 minutes for a seat and others before us walking out the staff wouldnt even acknowledge us or talk to us to say a seat would be ready shortly or given a wait time nothing zilch so we left and found FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE AT PATCHES there is something to be said for mom and pop type places this will be our restaurant of choice when going to Brandon keep up the great service
