Applebees is good if you want a reliable everyday place to eat at or with a group. What they have on the menu they are good at.

I have to say it has seem to slip on the service side and atmosphere. We go usually 2-3 times a month and the last couple times don t feel like they use too. Just not as friendly with the kids seemed very short on all levels of service and attitude. We had a birthday and the name was very easy and they kept calling the birthday girl the wrong name. Just feels different in many aspects not like it use to be. UPDATE: Had to change to a one star, as Jim the Director of operations asked me to email him which I did right away. He explained and asked for my number that someone would reach out and no one to this date has.

Food tasted like it was leftover

ordered soup of day. French onion soup. salad. kids meal. mik and earl Grey tea. waited 45 mins to arrive. my tea wasnt brought out yet. I said not to bring as too late now. salad was missing cheese. food was OK. after paying I realized I was charged for a coke no one ordered or received. no discount for missing cheese. didnt bother to wait for correction. just left.

Absolutely disgusted with the 0 service Applebee s! My boyfriend and I went in for a Mother s Day meal (yes we had reservations) had to leave after 20 minutes of waiting for someone to even take a drink order even though 3-4 servers were standing around in the far corner just talking, this was an awful experience don t waste your money or time seems like they d rather stand and talk then do their jobs and serve customers. Also to note: it was not that busy many empty tables and again they all just stood around plus who wants to spend $20 on a salad ridiculous prices and awful service.

Went for a hangover brunch. Requested a dark corner for my tired eyes and dark soul. The only thing that brightened my day was our server Melanie. What an absolute ray of sunshine. She is an absolute asset to this company and the only reason I will come back. Food was decent but service knocked it out of the park.

We arrived, it was fairly full. Took a while for waitress to arrive; and a bit of a wait for food. Waitress was friendly; food was great!! They gave free dessert to each of us as a thank you for our patience

Super helpful management when were called about dietary requirements. Good food, and really conscientious about where they placed us with a little one.

Really rude host, did not greet us or thank us for coming in. Had 2 dirty forks with food stuck in them.

Terrible cuts of steak. Full of tendons with every cut and extremely difficult to eat. Highly disappointed. This was not worth $30 for each meal. Will never return.

Went here for a drink with a friend while in town for Ag Days, and the bartender Cam was amazing. 10/10 recommend going here just based on how awesome he was

Lots of delicious menu options. Have had the Homestyle chicken bowl a couple times always good! Nice atmosphere. Generally quiet. Highly recommend.

Went here for my daughters birthday for the first time. Our waiter was exceptional and super friendly. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very family friendly. Cant wait to go back!

Decent value for money, the staff were incredible, especially with our super outgoing 1 year old! On the whole, would reccomend any day.

Great food and the waitress is very explanatory about the food.

Be careful with their gluten- friendly choices. We understand that cross contamination can still happen, and this is what happened with my wifes food. Gluten reaction happened shortly after.

My dining experience at the restaurant absolutely appalling our server Cain took half our order and acted like she was being displaced and we were wasting her time I watched how she flitted around to other tables and talk to other customers and she was absolutely an utterly rude to me and my friend she almost was acting like we werent going to pay for our food so we did not give her a tip Im writing this out of disgust for her rude behavior

I come here often as it s my grandmothers favourite place to eat, but we keep coming back because every time it s a great experience! They have lovely staff, (shoutout to the hostess Eishaih and our waitress Emma), and yummy food!

Service and attentiveness was really good. Our server Cheryl was an amazing waitress and always fulfilled our needs as customers. The lighting however could use an improvement as it was sometimes difficult to read the menu.

The worst restaurant experience in my life. I ordered a quesadilla burger and now I am currently undergoing food poisoning! I have never experienced such thing previously! The food was disgusting as well, the burger was very greasy and bland. The pricing is also very expensive in my opinion. I would never step foot into an apple bee again.

There was a power outage and we were forced to leave promptly. We havent finished our drinks yet but we were charged the full price. We asked if we could at least get our drinks to go as we barely had any, they said it is not allowed for alcohol. Anyway it is not about the money but the way we were treated by one staff.

Dakota is the reason we will be back to Applebees - his service was phenomenal and just made our day ! Brenda was delighted to celebrate her birthday here !! Food was fantastic - we will be back !!!

Took our two young children for supper on our road trip, it was Mothers Day. The flower at the start of the meal really touched my heart as we were travelling and I didnt get flowers. Restaurant was patient with our kids, 3 and 1. Pricing was okay, food was nice. I enjoyed my entree more than my husband did, I had the steak and him the chicken, he said not much flavour. Overall, a good experience and would come back.

It was a let down. The food felt like it was re heat, the chicken was chewy and rubber tasting. Server was friendly untill the check was paid. Conversation ended as the bill said approved. Didnt really felt like a family restaurant. Would not recommend unless your desperate for a some dine out options. Plus other restaurants should have gotten my money compared to the price and size of food.

I just arrived in Brandon from BC it was late , my family stopped in for dinner. We had an incredible waitress who went above and beyond. I am vegan and she went out of her way to check ingredients and create a dish that would leave feeling satisfied. The service was greatly appreciated, the waitress was outstanding! Thank you :)

Our server was fabulous, and the food was excellent. Our only negative comment, was in regards to A/C operation. It was very cool in our booth, and coldnin the mens bathroom.

Its been years since Ive been to an Applebees. Went here for lunch, and it was fantastic!

Brasserie type, giant screen throughout the restaurant. For sports fans, this is the place.

Great Food at a Great price, curtious staff

The food has never really wowed me in any regards. Its a decent place for a family gathering, but with the prices, I think there are normally better options.

ordered pick up last night, arrived when told it would be ready, paid with gift card and gave an eight dollar tip. After 15 minutes of waiting I inquired about my order, was told their was a mix up. I asked for a complimentary beer while I was waiting, refused. after another 20 minutes went by I asked to speak to a manager, no one showed, then food arrived. I never did speak to a manager, was never told until I asked what happened to my order. And I was never apologized too. Poor food, inexcusable service, If I get another gift card I will re gift it with a warning!

Havent been here in years and probably wont be back for another few years. I found the food to be mediocre, overpriced and mostly flavourless. We did the pick 3 where you pick an appetizer, a meal and a desert. All 3 portions were tiny for what you pay and very oily. The service was also quite slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. This place also needs a major update inside, but it seems as though the owner is ok with just the status quo as it hasnt changed since it opened.

Very, very slow service. We were basically the only people in the restaurant. It took over 15 minutes for a glass of wine when we were sitting directly beside the bar. Staff were just talking in the bar area. Ive tried to give Applebees two chances since moving back to Brandon, and unfortunately, I wont be back.

The staff was amazing , our server was friendly and quick, little lax on the drink refills bit still great, the food was mouth watering and the burgers was perfectly cooked , unfortunately the parking lot which has nothing to do with the restaurant was in terrible condition, not the staffs fault though

Our waitress forgot my appetizer, salad, so it was served after the meal was on the table. After eating the salad, the meal was already cold. I had told her it was cold and asked for it to be warmed up. After bringing it back to the table, the ribs were hot, but the fries were almost soggy. The waitress asked if I would like another order of fries, but the taste of the preheated ones made me lose my appetite for french fries, so I said no. She also forgot that coffee was ordered and had said they were making a fresh pot. The coffee was cold. Not impressed with the service and will not be dining there ever again.

Waited a few mins for someone to seat us. Upon which she apologized as there would be a wait for clean cutlery. We sat waiting for 10 mins with our menus closed, while 4 male waiters walked by without acknowledging us. The lounge was completely empty, the restaurant wasnt even half full. Left after 12 mins after not being waited upon AT ALL

Either needs new staff or more staff, my service on my last 2 visits was horrible. My most recent visit it took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my table and then another 20 minutes for the first half of drinks and 10 more for the rest. When it came to the server I couldn t even tell you her name as she never told me, but we saw her maybe a total of 5 times in the total of our visit 1) I ll be with you in a minute 2) first half of drinks 3) second half of drinks 4) food 5) to pay. No refills, no assistance for high chairs and kids menus, no help at all. Not sure what happened to applebees but I will not be returning.

Went last night and when our server came to the table he seemed high as a kite. Took out drink order and didnt come back until after tables seated after us had their order taken by a different server. Finally came back and took our order and brought food. When we were done asked for a bill and a box and never saw him back again at our table. Had to ask another server multiple times to have our bill brought to us while he worked behind the bar and ignored us. Watched other tables have to go up to the bar to get his attention too to get their orders placed because he wouldnt leave the bar and come back to their tables.

The place was busyish, but you think the waiter could have stopped by our table at least once during our meal to enquire as to how our meal was. He did find time to converse at a nearby table. I was at a Winnipeg restaurant on an extremely busy Saturday night, and our waiter made sure to stop by and check on things.The food was fine but not worth the price.

Staff were very kind and made sure to check in on our table often even though it was a very busy Saturday night. Even offered to show me where the bathroom was. I didn t catch our waitresses name but she was amazing. Was there about 5:30 tonight. Great service and food!

It was okay our poutine was cold and the wings were soggy. I dont complain but it was under cooked.

I find most Applebees establishments in Canada to be friendly with a good food & drink range. Prices are comparable with most other restaurants of same calibre. More parking availability in Brandon MB would be a bonus.

We loved the service we had when we came in. Highly recommend the summer specials for all you can eat!! Kid-friendliness: The kids menu and crayons really keep my little girl entertained. We like to play tic tac toe together. Thank you for making it a good experience for my daughter!

Staff was happy and friendly. However, I think I paid way to much for the amount of food I got, which I got lukewarm. Very small portion of fries as a special side. Left the restaurant feeling hungry, even after paying way more than it was worth.

Went here on October 15th 2022. Our Server was excellent. The Restaurant however was disappointing. The menu Item my misses wanted wasnt available, Which is fine I realize that things run out. I had the Bbq Tacos however and as the server was bringing it out and going to place it at the table it had a long strand of hair seemingly cooked into the food, it had the sauce from the tacos on it and was absolutely disgusting. Server noticed and told her manager. Tacos were comped, but the damage was kind of done, rest of the experience was kind of tainted and just seemed dirty. Whomever is handing quality control before food goes out had failed miserably.

Great food, very good service. Last Applebees I went to in Wpg was years ago and was horrible compared to this one. I would come back to this location any time Im in Brandon.

First Time at Applebees late Sunday to treat a friend from my church and I was astounded by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, even about an hour and a half before closing. Cameron, our waiter, was a delightful young British gentleman who was very friendly and helpful, and every request was fulfilled promptly and with a smile. Tipped him double my usual. Every staff member I interacted with showed that same level of gracious, friendly and attentive care that was a cut above any other dining experience Id had in Brandon thus far, even Browns or Montanas has yet to match that level of welcoming atmosphere. 10/10, will eat here again.

Its awesome that this restaurant supports Veterans and CAF members on remembrance day by offering a free meal. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent! Thank you again.

The Fish platter was ok. Missed some Garnish to make it more appetizing and présentation is lacking.

This place has definitely changed my outlook on Applebees. Food is always very good! Helpful, friendly & cheerful staff. Very relaxing place to come eat with the family. Will definitely keep coming back. Thanks Applebees Brandon for staying awesome

Great staff yummy food all round great place. One of my fav places definitely.

I arrived and sat down with a group and was greeted warmly and ordered the fish and chips. The waitress came out to say they are out of fish so I ordered a burger and it came out fast. The burger had a nice char to it which adds nice texture and flavour.
