Brutal experience got kicked out because one if the waiters thought he knew us would not recommend great food but if the servers thinks they know you watch out

Beautiful place, very nice and helpful staff. Went with a party of 3 on Sunday evening. It wasnt busy and the food was very quick. We had a couple of shareables (recommending their special cut fries!) and 3 mains. I had 2 pieces of battered cod with a poutine. The poutine was amazing with tasty gravy, not too salty and big beautiful cheese curds, the batter around the cod however was way too thick. It was the only downside of our visit. The menu is accommodating although on the smaller side, so if youre very particular I suggest taking a look online first. Would recommend.

Got takeout sushi but didn t get any chopsticks. How do I eat it now

Need an education on what gluten free is as well as celiac disease.... half the menu items that are marked GF are not, case in point, Nacho chips that are placein a fryer that also fries non gluten-free items contaminates all food

I cant stress enough how fresh and delicious the food was. 2 times now and Ill definitely be back soon. Youre a breath of fresh air.

Good food and service, and the house beer was actually decent. Putting screens with sportsball over the urinals is a bit much, though. Vegetarian options: Actually quite a lot of options to choose from. The rice protein bowl is good.

Some of the best food and service Ive had in a long time. Its just too bad that the price of food is gone so out of control. Obviously businesses need to be profitable, but it sure cuts down our restaurant visits.

Great spot for food and hangout

Browns Socialhouse is a pleasant location to enjoy a meal. On attending Friday evening, the restaurant was packed with diners, but the staff ensured that those waiting to be seated were not waiting an abnormal length of time. The food on offer is prepared fabulously, arriving promptly hot and plated in a manner that is aesthetically pleasing. While this visit was one enjoyed with my spouse, there were numerous families in attendance, and the restaurant has food options that can meet the needs of most, if not all, diners preferences.

Our servers were incredible, they were attentive and did not even have to ask them to fill up drinks. Took care of us and we truly enjoyed our visit! Shout out to a server named Carissa, and another named Tilly, thank you for a great night!

B is the top bartender at Browns Brandon! It wouldn t be a Browns hit without seeing B. She goes above and beyond to ensure all guests are taken care of. I have sat in her section on busy nights and slow nights and no matter what she makes sure we always have everything we need. I have never had a bad time at Browns in her care. Thank you B!

Nick was our server on Thursday and made our whole experience so great. He made sure our wine stayed full and suggested the brownie for dessert to share. It was busy but he still made it feel like we were his only table taking extra time to chat and make the experience next level. We will be back and requesting Nick s section.

I love coming to browns whenever Kiersten is working! I always request her as my server. She s always friendly, ready to answer any questions we may have and her service is always fast. Music is questionable at times but the service makes up for it!

I had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised. I had thought it would be a place with mostly pub fare however there was a nicely varied menu. The food and service was good. The atmosphere was fine for an old guy!! I would go back

Im from out of town, but have been here twice with my family. Have had the steak, Blackened chicken fettuccine, fish and chips and burgers. Food has been amazing each time we visited! My absolute favorite being the fettuccine, probably the best Ive had anywhere. Service has great, and love the atmosphere. A must stop if in Brandon!

I love Brown s! The food is always great, I like the blackened chicken fettuccini Alfredo. My server Kersten was always on top of things and made sure our drinks were refilled. Overall, great experience!

We were served by Tili tonight and he was absolutely AMAZING! Spectacular recommendations, very attentive, we could not have asked for a better experience. The food was awesome *get the Alaska hwy gravy* you wont be disappointed! But the highlight was our service, its been probably a decade since weve seen this kind of pride in someones work. On a scale of Browns over two provinces this one fits in. Not mind blowing but still very good. Positive - always friendly staff. Made me a negroni which was fantastic. Had the chicken sandwich with yam fries - chicken was crusted perfectly and pretty big. Could have used more of a firmer finish on the bacon. Good work again Browns.

Went as a plus one for a work gathering.. the food was good enough but I wouldnt go there myself. They gave my meal to someone else and when my steak came it was too salty to finish. I was ordering the watermelon cocktail but sometimes Id get the mandarin one. It was a bit busy but I didnt expect things to go that wrong.

Best place in Brandon to have a good time with family/ friends/ even on your own.

Brunch is high level, particularly the waffles and corned beef hash. Service is hit or miss. The regular menu offerings are decent.

Great experience. Our server introduced herself, and when a new server took over our table she introduced them to us. Our group was well cared for, the food was great, and the ambience was excellent.

Food was so good. The chicken Thai bites had lots of good flavor, the chicken was very tasty. Classy presentation. I had Steak Frites, I am not generally a coleslaw person however it was fresh chopped and not smothered in sauce. Very good Steak. Was cooked exactly how I asked. I took one star away from the atmosphere solely because I felt the music was a bit loud. I found myself raising my voice to have conversations with my Partner over our meal. Also found others around us doing the same. Would prefer just a bit lower volume of the music. The music playing was fun and enjoyable. The servers were all very good, well dressed, professional, and kept my pop refilled. Water could have been in larger glasses or refilled more often. Overall for my first time in about 2 years that Ive been in. I can say my steak was better than the Keg, for me that was huge. We will definitely go back. Parking: Limited spaces. Hard to get in and out. Wheelchair accessibility: Not really. Definitely be a tight fit.

The food was not good for the price Had the sushi and salad and for 26.00 it should be edible the salad was mostly avocado, noodles, and mango ( i asked for no mango) and the dressing just tasted weird i barely touched it. The menu dosent tell you what s in the salad if the waitress told me the correct ingredients I would have picked something else. Dynamite Roll was okay but had a heavy amount of spicy mayo and the watermelon social soda was bland and tasteless. My partner refuses to go back there bc his food was also a disappointment.

I ordered fish & chips, one piece was very overcooked and was inedible. Overpriced and overcooked. My server was pleasant, but I dont think I would try again.

We had a Valentine s Dinner date and Ashley (1929) was our server. First server we ve had in along time who made our dinner out so enjoyable. She came around the table just the right amount of times to check up on us, she was super friendly and had a great personality. We had a small tiny issue with the meal and she didn t hesitate to make it right. Great job Ashley! Browns is lucky to have you! Hope to see you again the next time.

The dynamite roll? Fantastic (great taste and presentation sorry no photo, I was very hungry and it was very delicious). The brownie? So good: rich chocolate flavour, not too moist nor too dry. Served warm with ice cream, chocolate shavings and walnuts. That s what I call a BROWNIE! I mean, just look at the photo! Happy repeat customer here.

I decided to order the hollywood burger and poutine this evening as a side. My hamburger was pink in the center with no seasoning or flavor of any kind. The poutine was absolutely horrible. Overpowered with so much salt your heart will instantly start palpitating. Ive had excellent meals here before. However for over $26 bucks you cant help but feel ripped off. Not sure ill be heading there anytime soon if ever again.

I celebrated my 55th birthday party there with friends and family food was amazing drinks were wonderful and it was an evening to remember well discuss that we would go back at least once a month for an outing

We went for supper on Sunday evening around 8ish. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic, very friendly. I ordered the 7oz Steak with Alfredo Noodles and my spouse had a burger and fries. My steak meal was delicious, and my husband said his was great too. Thanks for the great evening. Will definitely be back.

Went here for a friends birthday. We reserved a table for 7, told it was an hour wait, which was fine. We were told we d get a call once our table became available, but never did. When we arrived they said they cancelled our table because they couldn t get ahold of us (they never called the number we left). Then changed their story and said that the guest cancelled the reservation another false statement. After questioning them on their false statements they ended up giving us a table. Let the server know it was our friends birthday, she immediately got strange about it, and stated that they don t do anything for birthdays. I have been to browns on other occasions (very recently) where free desserts were offered. When questioned on this, she very hesitantly said she d see what she could do. Then retracted her statement and said sometimes they do free desserts. When we got our table we saw our server 3 times throughout the evening. Ran out of water and had nothing to drink during the meal. Felt like a very unwelcoming atmosphere. I usually enjoy my time while at browns, but can t help to feel that the servers there were disrespectful and intolerant. Gave 2 stars, as the food was good.

Sat at bar top for some quick drinks and food. The bar team ( I didn t catch their names. One girl have French braids and the other has tattoos), we re so awesome, made delicious drinks, quick service and were nice. Food came out so quick and was delicious. The manager was very present and polite. All around good experience here. Would 1000% come again! Thank you browns team

Amazing staff and fantastic food

I love the concept of Browns for its great energy and aesthetics but it s just never consistent. One afternoon, my partner and I went here for lunch. We waited so long for our food and when it arrived we were so stoked. However, once we started digging in, we noticed how hot the food was from the outside, but the middle of it was completely frozen. We had to send the food back and after sending it back twice, it came out the way it should ve been. Anyway, it s disappointing to be excited to go out to eat, then leave unhappy about the food we ate.

I love the atmosphere, the buzzing of people, it feels so welcoming and fun. I love the food here, from drinks, apps, main meals and desserts! It is all delicious and the portions are generous. My number one restaurant in Brandon!

All was good

Took 3 grandchildren 6-10 for lunch ordered 3 kids meals, chicken fingers, quesadillas and burger. 14.00 for fingers and quesadillas and 20.50 fir the kids burger mentioned to our waitress and she stated that is what it is. Yikes.

Liked this place so much we returned twice for dinner and drinks during our week in Brandon. Food was delicious, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun! The sushi and salad plate was my favourite. And during social hour , the price was right on cocktails and apps too. Walking distance from Holiday Inn Express and CanadInn.

Very good selection of food, relatively decent whisky selection as well. Pricing is what youd expect, service was fast and accurate. Mixed drinks diverged from the norm in a not always successful manner but none were bad.

Came late Monday night not busy but I was greeted and seated. Ordered the Cesar and Fish tacos. Caesar was ok. The Fish Tacos were amazing. The fish to taco ratio is perfect. It s hard to find good fish tacos, you guys nailed it. The fish was light and well cooked and battered. I would just add lime wedges and cilantro. Oh extra Baja sauce that was good! Service was awesome too. Very attentive and made sure I was take. Care of. Good job #12! Update: B is great. I ve eaten here 3 nights in a row. I highly recommend the blackened chicken south western salad and the Beef Dip. So good!! Very happy I found this place.
