Nice dinner, the seating is nice and the place well maintained. The food is good a classic home style selection. The meatloaf, cod, and Caesar wrap were all good. The side of mashed potatoes and hot veg are also nice. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classically good home style meal.
Great food great prices and very busy, great place for brunch or breakfast. I didn't need to eat anything else all day.
Everything is home cooked, from what I could tell. The flavors of every single dish or item were perfect. I will be recommending this place to everyone passing through Brandon, and to any locals who have never been. Pure delicious. The pie is out of this world. Brenda was a delight to speak with as well.
Food is always good and great service.
Service was friendly, however was disappointed with the food prices and quantity, one Canadian scrambler (which did not even come with a meat, was only a portion of hashbrowns and egg with 2 peices of toasted bread) also got one small 355 ml applejuice and one side of 3 small sausages came out to 27.38$!! Ridiculous price in my opinion for that small amount of food. Folks save your wallet and go to any other diner in town, where you can get two full plates of food for around that price (30$)
Food was really good. I had the mushroom burger with wedges (fries) and gravy with coleslaw.
Had a bad experience here today and unfortunately it felt like the owners considered me more of a nuisance than an actual customer especially after I had an issue with my meal. I should note I'm not that fussy, but some things can't be overlooked. They did try and fix things and I was informed towards the end of my meal that they would allow me one more cup of coffee since apparently it isn't bottomless? Anyways the lady was nice, but the guy seemed grumpy for whatever reason. Prices are a bit high when compared to other similar restaurants. I should note I've been here in the past and have had much more friendly service too, and even though I was only planning on having one more cup of coffee, the statement I was only getting one more cup kind of irked me. Sorry guys, but I'll probably just go to Eastside or Mum's next time I'm in the Brandon area.
The food and service was good, but the owners act like dictators. Even the server was scared of the owners. My mom and I are light eaters, so we wanted to share one meal, but we were told they don't do that. And that if we shared a plate, we would be charged for 2 meals. There were absolutely no substitutions allowed, and no lighter fares either. You have to serve yourself drinks, and you have to go up to the front to order yourself. The waitress doesn't do much. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners also expected the customer to get their own meal from the kitchen. The customer is not a high priority to them. Would never go again, and would never recommend anyone else to go.

A cozy little gem of a restaurant. A nice menu variety and friendly staff. Order and pay at the counter, find a seat, and you will be served when your order is ready. A real treat!

Company ordered lunch for us as takeout. I asked for the Beef and Buttons sandwich. Got a 6 inch bun with beef, thats all. No sautéed mushrooms or mozzarella cheese as advertised. Inedible! Threw it in the trash and made a run to BKs.
Cute, cosy little place we stumbled upon. Great homemade food, awesome for when your tired of fast food, healthy choices, great service! Will be back for sure!!
The owners act like dictators, & dont treat their staff well at all! They love their gossip, & negativity. Please, support a different local business who is genuine to their employees & customers.

The potatoes looked days old.Didnt taste right.i dont usually post But this aint Yuk. Ive got to pay before hand and also tip Service by the server great But I was out of there before I got offered a Top up didnt notice anyone being offered.
The servers attending to our table were very nice and friendly , and received great service with a smile. The food was hot and very tasty. Highly recommend trying it out.
Went out for lunch with my Niece and in-law. I order the philly steak melt on special for $16. I thought the portions were slightly small, never the less the sandwich was fairly good. However my nieces Mac and cheese ($8) was most certainly microwaved Kraft Dinner. At $20 a meal with a pop I felt hungry enough after leaving that I stopped for a snack on the way home.

I like trying new places with friends and due to covid Ive been putting off trying Cranberrys. All of a sudden the anticipation was well worth it. It may not have been super healthy, but the flavor of the melt sandwich I ordered was stellar. Perfect toasted bread, caramelized onions, juicy patty. The coleslaw was creamy and crunchy. Home cut fries were perfect. Just for a perfect score, the staff makes you feel like you are at home. Welcoming, genuine and clearly care about customers as they know and converse with the regulars. Between flawlessly sanitizing things, I was treated to conversation with one worker (manager?). I will be back.

Today we had terrible service at Cranberrys Family Restaurant in Brandon MB. This restaurant was my fathers and I go to restaurant. Now I know about the covid rules but I am also aware people are allowed to dine in with other people from different households if you were to sign for it which we were willing to do! Anyways.. we paid 33.80$ Never got informed about them telling us to eat somewhere else UNTIL WE HAD PAID! we ordered for dine in NOT TAKE OUT! They made our meal for take out. & theyre attitude was Ridiculously rude and when we asked for our money back they said absolutely not im so Disgusted on how they treated us as a customer I work at the keg and we have never once seen anyone treat a customers this way absolutely ridiculous

First of all, when we ordered, the lady at the til appeared to be hard of hearing She kept asking us to repeat ourselves. I asked for garlic toast, she asked if I would like cheese I said no I do not need any cheese thank you Well, I got garlic toast with cheese. I asked for tea & received coffee. A tip is automatically added when you order your food, yet the waitress never came wants to our table to refill our coffee, nor ask how our meal was. Furthermore, I had to go up to the counter & request water. & after we proceeding to drink, found numerous white floatys in the bottle. On top of this one sandwich, two small bowls of soup, and an order of what should have been garlic toast was $35!!?!? Never again.

First time going with my family and we were delighted to see the various options there are to choose from. The server was very sweet and made good conversation, and the lady and man at till were very sweet as well. Big homemade meals for a good price, instead of any regular restaurant, this place gives you home fashioned vibes. Definitely will dine again!
Love the old nostalgic menu board with its classic soups and sandwiches. Excellent t portion sizes and a pleasant atmosphere. Reminds me of the old diners I would go to as a kid.

Its not a 5 star atmosphere but this place is pretty darn good! Counter service was fast and friendly. Table service was the same. Very tasty food.

Probably never go back. My wife allergic to onions told waitresses her allergies she wrote it down. We get our food my wife starts to eat then right away starts breathing funny turns red. We look the the food and find onions in her meal. I call over the owner as she is the one making the meals. We show her the onions then the owner starts yelling at my wife in front of a full restaurant. Thats there no onions in the meal but you can clearly see that there was.. save yourself from the drama and eat somewhere they respect their customers.
Our breakfast order had very undercooked eggs and half cooked bacon, dried out sausages, cold not melted margarine on the hash browns and don t forget the expired orange juice. Extremely disappointed.

owners do not know how to run a business i see why the store runs the way it does. The tips that you give, 50% of it goes right back to the owners that have had noting but disrespectful remarks about me and my family. the one time i went i overheard the owners telling their own staff they could not give her the staff discount cause she only worked a 5 hour shift. this restaurant is not somewhere to take your family or a place you should ever eat. try mums. theyll treat you with respect and care for you while your in their restaurant.

Revisited recently and I was pleasantly surprised by a clean restaurant, friendly staff, and tasty food that was beautifully presented.
Food was over cooked an burnt did not like how i had to go up to the counter an order my food they didnt even bring me a drink i had to go get it myself an the server didnt come get the dishes or anything an their prices were completely outrageous for the little amount of food you get! I will not be coming back to this dive of a place!
