The food here is terrible, the server was polite if mostly absent. I was waiting to get a bill for a while. Place feels nice and has decent seating. The food tho, I ate here twice and the meat tastes like its been boiled and microwaved. The vegetables were old and overcooked. And its pretty overpriced
My son dish was over cooked, my dressing took me asking half way through my meal and after making comments about filling in for the birthday recognition… and tell her it was my husband’s birthday no offer of dessert Even to pay…. Sadly we were very disappointed… big bill mediocre food and service at best….
amazing servers and fast service! the only issue how the managers treat and speak to the staff! i overheard a conversation between them while dining and it stuck with me.
Love the chopped salad and lettuce wraps! Had some boneless wings that were grey in the middle 😖 but the server was great about our concern and took care of us well.
Arrived to the restaurant for brunch the day after my sister's wedding here in Brandon. We inquired about breakfast and the staff told us that breakfast had ended a few minutes ago, but they would check with the kitchen. We were able to order off of the breakfast menu. The portion size and quality of food was great. The service we received from our waitress Melanie was incredible! She was very polite, tentative, and made sure that our experience at the restaurant was fantastic. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future should I find myself visiting Brandon, Manitoba again!
The beer was great, unfortunately 2 dinners at this place and both were fails. First was the pasta : it is billed as fresh pasta made daily , perhaps it was, but it was swimming in a diluted, weak, Kraft dinner tasting sauce. All there was for veggies was red and green pepper. I know there was other veggies in the kitchen as my wife's steak came with a side of carrots. Second dinner was burger and fries : obviously fries went down at same time as burger, because fries were plated first and were cold upon arrival. Burger was good tasting, but red peppers ( which are wet, right ? ) don't belong on the bottom bun, because...wait for it, they get soggy. Put them on top of the chicken , this is cooking 101. If you are staying in the hotel, and are being lazy its OK, but don't make an effort to go here....
Staff were awesome service was too didn't find anything wrong with my food ! Atmosphere was nice a little on the cool side but tolerable
I had "The Hangover" burger and was not disappointed. I would definitely order it again, the burger was juicy and bun was soft.

The manager Jill I believe was her name, complained about staff not cleaning the table we were sat at. The service over all was terrible! We were watchrd but ignored. One of our people went up to the bar to ask for service!
Very unfortunate experience. We went out for a birthday supper and waited almost 2 hours from the time of ordering our food to the time we got it. Upon receiving food the steaks were very charred and dry. We were not offered any discount for the wait and had to complain to get one. Very disappointed with the handling of such a long wait time for an expensive meal.
Our family visited Echo several times this weekend and the food and service was excellent. Greek chicken wings were amazing, the steak was outstanding, pasta seemed house made and was so very good. Great atmosphere and always very clean.
Enjoyed lunch today with two friends. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. The waitress was excellent! Certainly worth a return trip!
We are staying at the Clarion which also includes the Echo Restaurant. We have eaten there three times, including a party of 8 today. Our server was fantastic, even when we asked to move tables to better accommodate the group. She was on point throughout the meal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We have another night here, and will be going to the Echo for breakfast tomorrow. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay great. One note though, you may want to consider installing large overhead fans to assist the AC, which wasnt able to keep the restaurant comfortably cool. Other than that A++.

Worst food I ever ate in a restaurant in Brandon, it said lobster tail and steak on the page, went there and no lobster tail, had a starter of nacho Grande which was over baked dried up cold cheese, Caesar salad was so bland not fresh salad it tasted aweful, I had the baby back ribs so did my partner, tasted like sauce you buy at superstore not homemade, broccoli tasted like it came out of a box frozen and heated somehow very bad taste. Fries were good but the gravy was way too salty Im never going back to this Echo place half a star out of 5.. alot of people said the same when they said its not a good place now I know why.
Food was cold and subpar flavor for the prices they charge unfortunately.

Well the steak was overcooked and tuff ,and the garlic mash potatoes were salty ...least the beer were cold .not impressed for our first nice meal out in awhile
6 of us out for a meal and drinks, we were seated in the back of restaurant. No music/TVs or anything. Only people in the very back, nobody came to take a drink order or anything so we left. Probably should have made a reservation, but service was tough right off the hop.

Servers are not extremely friendly or fast, beer was delicious. Nice to get Moosehead draft beer in Manitoba. Did not see any wine bottles for a wine bar. I did not order food. Very clean, cozy place.
Went in for new years Eve dinner, ordered the steak and lobster special. Food took about 35 mins from ordering to being presented on the table, first bite all our steaks were cold almost like it sat under the heat lamp for awhile. Server was pre occupied with a larger party, but we waited an additional 30 mins from us stacking plates waiting for our bill to our bill being handed to us. The manager took $4 off our bill for the wait. 2 hours for a simple steak dinner is unreal, we won t be coming back. Terrible way to end the new year.
Great service, perfectly cooked lobster and steak was on point. Really nice atmosphere and very posh experience. Recommend others to visit.

Ordered a chicken stir fry that arrived with no chicken, so they came back with microwaved stuff. Took forever for all of the food to get to the table. never been so displeased with a restaurant, even McDonalds chicken nuggets tasted like five star chicken compared to theirs.

Good service, fantastic food. Had nachos the night before and the prime rib for lunch the next day. Both dishes exceeded my expectations. One of the best restaurants within a hotel and far beyond normal. This restaurant is worthy of its own building

Expensive for absolutely nothing
We went here because we were staying at the hotel and it was convenient. The service was slow ( took 20 minutes just to pay the bill) and the food was sub-par. The prices are up there for this type of pub food. Better to search a bit further afield!
Been here a couple times. First visit was alright. Nothing spectacular, nothing that bad. However the second visit was a let down. Took a while for food to arrive. Food was average pub fare at above average pub fare prices. At the end I asked for the bill hoping to get out quick. Got the bill and said I would pay with a card. Twenty minutes later I get up to find someone to pay. The heck? Facility was clean. Curling on Tv. Works for me.
