Didn t bring 4 or 5 of the rolls we ordered and there was only one other patron.

This place is highway robbery. For the quality and quantity of food. You get the price of the Filipino meals are atrocious for what they are. And the Chinese food is subpar for the amount you pay

We order hotpot, the table the we sit is dirty, the soup took 30 mins before it came out. The people dont know what they are serving us. We couldnt understand each other only one employee can speak english.

Used to be unique and you were served by a robot. Kinda dirty now.

What a robot came to my table!!! This place has great food and a robot.first the food you order off an I pad anything you want. If you want a couple chicken wings and a couple deep fried crab and some chicken fried rice you can order small sizes. It s fresh and tastes very good and you can order anything on the menu in small quantity for one price. My only complaint is they are sometimes a little late opening at 11:30 am. But hey can t be perfect all the time.

This has been our go to place since it opened, however our last two visits the service, food and atmosphere have all gone down hill. We arrived at 515pm tonight waited over 5 minutes to be greeted and seated, regather then offer us a seat on the main floor area they sat us in the room to the left off the main restaurant, there were tables and booths left that were clean in the main area, and in the room we were in we were by our selves away from everyone. (This normally wouldn t bother us however the server pretty much forgot about us) We had our order placed and sent in by 537pm, come 6pm our food started coming out (we were a group of 3 adults, 5year old, 2 year old and 11 month old) 2 sushi rolls a plate of noodles and a plate of beef and mushroom .. nothing else came, the waitress didn t come back until 620 and asked us if we wanted dessert, I nicely said no thank you we are still waiting on 90% of our meal. She went to the kitchen came back said they didn t receive our order, and asked us to put it in again (We 12 sushi rolls, 2 fried rice, 3 noodles 1 sesame chicken, 2 fruits sushi, and a few other things the first time) We resubmitted all the food we were missing befor 630 . At 647 a play of 6 Chinese fried donuts came out . And she again asked if we wanted dessert and again I said no we are still waiting on our Main meal, she came back again saying it didn t go through, at this point I was frustrated. And then one of the other worker came out from the kitchen with all the chits asking us what we were missing I point out 90% of the things on the kitchen chits (that they told me they didn t receive but clearly did as the times were all stamped on them) they took the list went back to make it and brought out 2 fried rice and said there you go can we get you anything else and I said again we are still missing the majority of our order that we have now submitted 3 times I said not to were we were leaving my kids were tired and hungry as it was mostly the food they liked that didn t come and we were all frustrated. They told me they were in the process of making everything else so I told them fine could I please have it to go as my kids need to get home to be as it was now past their bedtime and they still needed food. My husband and oldest son ate their rice then my husband took the youngest 3 to the truck to wait as they were very over tired and fussy .. it was close to 720 before they brought out 2 small containers of food, they showed me what was in them, 2 sushi rolls and my fruit rolls . And said here you go the rest of your order . Again missing a lot of of stuff, I said no this isn t the rest of our order and told them not to worry about the rest that we would just grab some fast food on our way home, which I didn t agree with but couldn t wait any longer. So I went to pay, no discount no compensation of any sort. Well over 100$ and we didn t get over half our food . And I had to go somewhere else to buy my family food. This is extremely unacceptable this will be the last time we ever eat here. I am an assistant manager at a restaurant and we would never treat a customer this way, we would do something to compensate for an error in service, to show the customers we are and want their business. I even explained this to them after and all they said was sorry about that well sorry but I don t believe your sorry in the slightest or even care too much given you told me you didn t receive my order then brought out the kitchen printed chit that they use to make the food off of. Poor poor poor service

It takes 30 minutes to serve the food. You will think they will serve it hot but no. Foods are re-heat. It looks like microwave is busy thats why food takes 30 minutes to be served. Go elsewhere

Not very good service tonight. Kitchen making and sending wrong orders to table. Ordered an item and waited 25 minutes after other food came. Asked about it and then was told they didnt have it.

Great food for a great price

The food was wasnt fresh and the rice is like, it was refrigerated overnight but we ordered so many stuff that not all of them came and we paid almost 75 dollars for 2 persons, we asked the staff 5 times when is our food gonna come? and she said it was coming but the food never came, we weren t full yet, and their sign says eat all you want! , worst staff, service, food i have experienced, get better. Robot waiter needs to show more hustle!

Wait time was long. Food werent fresh nor delicious. It was oily, like it has been sitting there for a long time. The wait staff told me to order all at once and not by small batches because the kitchen was busy. I told her I can t because there were only 2 of us and I dont want to have leftovers that we wouldn t be able to finish and eventually be charged for leftovers. There were several orders that the kitchen didn t received but it was on my order list. We asked for ice cream twice and it didn t came. Came out of the restaurant after 2 hours and we weren t full. $46 for two people, 1 adult and an 11 yr old. I told my daughter that i will buy her ice cream somewhere else.

We dined in with a party of 8. Food came in quick and the service was fast. Curried chicken was really good and had a bit of thai twist to it.

We came for lunch. Waiter told us we wanted the all you can eat menu, we agreed. You order from an iPad after the waitress sets it up for you. There are descriptions of each item as well as a picture. The pictures may be from the supper menu, because they did not match what we got. We ordered some items, everything came except the chicken skewers. The dishes that came were tiny compared to the pictures, so we had to order more. I ordered chicken skewers again in the second order. Picture of chicken skewers attached( yes, there was only one, and it was tiny) . The sushi was ok, the other Chinese food was not as good as other restaurants in town. Do not recommend for lunch. Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly

Great food, excellent service

We ate at Kam Lung Asian Cuisine tonight. It was the Best Asian food we ve had in years. The servers did an excellent job. Food came hot, tasty, and fast. The ice cream was a treat in the end. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that s hungry.

Actual food was fine, but only 1/4th of what we ordered actually came, we were there for 2 hours, got half a meal worth of food, and 2 refills on the water. Never checked on, never heard what was taking so long, and got to spend 60 bucks for the privilege.

We went for supper. The first thing we saw was the dirty floor. Dirty footprints everywhere. The floor was sticky. The glass/ plexiglass was wiped with a dirty cloth, because they were all smeared up. We had to get the waitress to wash the table again, as it was sticky. I was very nervous to stay, but we did. We ordered on the smeared up tablet. The food was good, but small portions. There were a lot of staff just standing around. The robot brought out the food, a couple items at a time. The bathroom had paper and water on the floor. For a newer place, the wall covering is coming off the walls. We had ordered 3 buffets and some sushi, and 2 drinks. $105.00. Crazy price for what we got. Will not go back, nor recommend.

The absolute worst dining experience that I ve ever had! Didn t get some of our food that we ordered, ZERO service, no explanations what the foods are, over priced, frozen, rude staff, lying about what they have, flys on the food, dirty dishes, didn t even give bowls for hot pots!! Stay away!!

Very nice place. Not ever busy but given the quality of the food and the service, it should be the busiest place in the city! Loved the sushi on the all you can eat buffet. You actually order all you can eat and a robot brings it out. Very very cool. And the price was also very reasonable. If you want a high quality all you can eat Chinese and sushi buffet come here!!

Its ok, were visiting family in Brandon from out of town and havent been here in 2 years. We were excited to go back, but in those 2 years, apparently the quality of the food here has gone down. Whether theyre using different ingredients or a new chef, its not working. Hopefully they go back to the way it was before, but I definitely wont pay the price they want for that, food again.

Awesome food!!!! The service was a little lacking but not terrible. The decor.well that leaves somethimg to be desired pink booths and teal tables emmmm not my idea of best decor but im there to eat not eye candy lol

too expensive for what it is egg rolls are store bought the calamari 18$ not worth it store bought too by the way, I ordered the dinner for two calamari on the with a 2ltr pepsi ended up paying 72$ very expensive and the food isnt fresh, if i would buy anything i would just get the chicken balls everything else wasnt worth 72$ to me not even as good as the meal was thats way too much

Okay here is the thing We are 2 person come to it, I will say this is one of best buffet on the food part that they serve sashimi but the service is so bad We order 10 times, most of time they only give us a bit. And we have to keep order and keep asking about the food At the end the waiter even don t want to talk to us. This is my first time eat buffet 2 hours and I am still feel hungry after that. Worst service,worst service I don t even want to give tips

I waited 40 minutes and only got 2 small item. I asked for a manager and was told she busy (she wasnt even there) i had to pay full price. I left hungery, i went to McDonalds. Kushi made me pay $20. I was almost in tears when i left. I got this with seaweed peeled off and given back. Not looken like pic at all. (2 weeks later, still no one reached out to me)

Mediocre service at best. We have previously gone to Kamlung and had a great time. However, this last experience was nothing short of frustrating. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 child. We got the first bit of food we ordered and then things went downhill from there. Our server actively ignored us, as well as other tables, we didnt receive the majority of the food we ordered, had difficulty even getting water (we asked for a water pitcher to make things easier on everyone and only got enough water for 2.5 people/cups), and the food we did get was just okay (nothing great). Overall, we were there from 430p to a little before 6p (1.5 hrs total) and we left still feeling hungry after getting nowhere with the server for better service (better in this case being any adequate service at all). Definitely do not recommend coming here if you want to get your fill of all you can eat sushi. Disappointing and very expensive since we then had to get more food later instead of the happy fullness you generally get from all you can eat sushi.

This was our first time at this restaurant, and we will never be back. The service was terrible, we ordered two adult buffets and two orders of chicken fingers, fries and a wonton soup. The server sat us and proceeded to give us two sets of cutlery fora family of four. The buffet, isn t a buffet at all rather smaller portions off the menu. The soup arrived without a spoon to eat it, shortly after the buffet items arrived. This was after an hours wait. We then asked our server if we could have drinks, after an hour. The servers never came around to ask how the meal was and anytime we needed something we had to flag a server down. After our meal it took forever for someone to come to the counter to pay. I have never been so let disappointed in the service of a restaurant. My family and I won t be back and we will let all our friends know not to waste their hard earned dollars on a substandard experience.

Don t go. Service was poor and slow! Atmosphere-dirty windows, cobwebs along ledge and furniture nails with nails upright on the ledge right near where my son was eating. Food was mediocre, but overpriced. Kids got their food on 1 plate and later the rest of it came. The buffet is to order, not set up as traditionally. Just an overall poor experience. Won t be back.

This restaurant used to be awesome! Its now gone down hill rapidly. I believe its not run by the original owners. The food is always funny tasting of old rancid oil, and has a burnt taste. The asparagus is always the woody bottom that you cant eat. Raw chicken leg, red raw and stuck to the bone. Burnt chowmain, burnt fried rice. 27$ + drink per person and they charge you for a can of soda when its fountain soda. 80$ for nasty food! Never again.

We usually come here, food was good until tonight. Everything tasted old. Asked for our beverages 3 times, then cream and sugar three times. Will really reconsider coming back here for the price of the food.

so much fun with the little robot and the food on big trays so u just take what u want. Ideal for picky eatters Kid-friendliness: The robot has a kitten face wich my daughter loved. Seeing the pic of what we were ordering helped her choose things she thought she would like and letting her choose her own protions was ideal

Theyre improving!

Went for dinner on Halloween. It was very quiet. We were there for 2 hours, taking our time. I won t leave my minor gripes about the food here, but the sushi definitely isn t as good as other places in town. For anyone wondering prices: 2 adults having all you can eat , 2 glasses of water, and not leaving a tip, the total was $62.61. Very expensive for mediocre sushi. Would much rather spend that amount at Sushi Hut for large portions and fresh sushi. Big difference between a corporate entity and a family run restaurant. Not my favourite, but to each their own.

Hair was found in the food.service was horrible food was cold when we received it.

We ordered 2 egg rolls and got 1 plum sauce packet to split between us. Also, 1 soy sauce packet to split between us.

The food is absolutely terrible, I went in for the buffet and it was bad, they don t even mix up the sauce in the chicken, I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, got some deep fried I dunno what with a gallop of tasted liked ketchup on top. So bad, it was terrible. Never again. I recommend you stay away.

Waitress barely spoke english, long wait for terrible food, in the end we paid 39$ each for soup i felt like walking out of there without paying, now the day after i feel like puking my guts out. OMG. The food was 10 out of 10. We had the smorg. Each and every dish was fresh. Unlike other Chinese food establishments each dish had its own flavor. Truly a joy. We will be back.

Kam Lungs has an extensive menu and I was most excited to try the Japanese Ramen. It was a tasty, generous portion, and I really appreciated that it was made spicy as per my special request! The Deep Fried Pork Dumplings, Deluxe Fried Rice, and General Tso chicken were also delicious. The online ordering system was great with text messages sent to confirm my order and then let me know when it was ready for pickup. Since that first order, weve had several other Chinese cuisine dishes from here. While everything was very good, one item that stood out was the crispy, well-seasoned Sweet & Sour Shrimp. Im looking forward to trying their Filipino cuisine dishes and hot pot.

Probably the most disappointing experience I have had at any restaurant. Food was all bland and very cheap tasting. Chicken wings were dry and mostly cartilage. Soy sauce tasted expired. Dishes were splotchy and dirty. I completely lost my appetite after the first bite. I will say that the waitress was very kind, so 1 star for good service.

Food: 3/5 Claim over 100 options, I didnt see it on the menuel. Sashimi was frozen. Shrimp tempura was just a deep fried shrimp without tempura. Service: 3/5 I was gonna give 1/5, but the server was new, she was trying her best to do her job. I sat down they start served me a soup without asking. I ask for 1 Kimchi, they served 2 without asking. I ordered teriyaki chicken, they served me TERIYAKI PORK(blame this on the kitchen).

Had buffet, and very impressed. All the dishes were hot and delicious. Had Dynamite Roll, Alaska Roll, Sesame Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Vegtable Chow Mein, Consime soup. Ice cream.

What a cool way to buffet! They bring you a tablet, and you choose off of the virtual buffet. Want more, just tap! Food was fresh and hot; the server was super pleasant. We will go again.

The way they operate the buffet is super nice. You sit down and order off a tablet and it s brought to you within 5 minutes. Everything was really good, especially the sesame chicken. Best in town. On their website the menu looks bigger. So I think the menu is smaller right now due to covid, limited options. But what they do have is really good. Definitely a new favourite place.

The service was friendly. The food was plentiful, with lots of variety of small asian dishes to order as part of the buffet. The quality of the food was mostly quite good. The sushi was not great though.

I have ordered from this place in the past, but through skip-the-dishes back when we couldnt eat in the restaurants. Today, (April 11, 2022) I went in with a friend for lunch. When we came in, we were greeted and seated, and after asking if this was our first time in the restaurant, the waitress went over how to use the digital menu on the provided iPad. It was very simple. The lunch menu isnt huge, but it also isnt small. Its the perfect size. We opted for the all you can eat. I ordered mainly sushi/sashimi, while my friend ordered mostly hot meals. Our food arrived rather quickly, and it was VERY fresh. We had to let it cool a bit before eating. The sushi and sashimi were very nice as well. Very flavorful and fresh, but my only compliant was the bones I found in the fish. Normally, sashimi and sushi should be free of bones, but it really didnt hurt my dining experience. The waitress brought us Comsumme soup to start and even that was absolutely amazing. I really cant post anything bad other than finding the bones, but again, that is always bound to happen. In conclusion: Food is hot, fresh, and tasty. Staff were amazing, and it was a nice little place with a cozy atmosphere. I would honestly suggest coming here at least once.

The best crab tempura in town , service is great, waitress is quick to renew dirty plates with clean ones and all the food always comes hot and normal wait times for food as per any other place . Hands down one of the top buffets in Brandon for dinner . If you prefer multiple refills and delicious hot food for your service I strongly suggest this place . Some sushi rolls are odd combinations but of course it s what certain people prefer! Everything on their menu taste amazing and guarantee this place does not disappoint!! To any other reviews that are bad all I can say is don t order something you you know you don t like to your table and then you will enjoy it just as much as we do. I love how they start you off with a free sample of one of their soups, you want fresh hot crisp food then dine in , heat will make crispy foods soft, take out in any restaurant is questionable/debatable

All you can eat food was great tasting but I dont have the patience for that sort of wait time between ordering. See it try it like it conventional buffet is more appealing for me and Im sure plenty of others would agree because thats why they are so successful. Reinventing the wheel is very difficult to do. Best of luck.

They have improved their game. It used to be that if you order 6 different items, you get each item at different times in no particular sequence (buffet). Now they will bring all items out at the same time.

We went in for the lunch buffet yesterday and I highly recommend eating here. Everything was fresh and came out quick.

Unfortunately have been very disappointed with our last two meals. Me and my boyfriend are regulars at this restaurant but the last time we went our food was cold soggy and we didn t get as much as we asked for on the iPad. We decided to come again today as we had previously loved this restaurant but were even more disappointed then before. About 1/4 of our food was not brought to us and we were never informed why. When we brought it to the staffs attention they told us they were sorry but were never compensated or brought our food that we had ordered. We had spent good money for 3 of us to go and weren t even given a discount for not receiving our food. Used to be our absolute favourite restaurant in Brandon but with this experience we are not sure if we will ever return.

Being used to buffets, I was apprehensive about ordering from a tablet but I am sold. I LOVE that every dish is prepared for you. Each one comes with its own sauce so each dish has a distinct flavor. This is my Favorite restaurant in Brandon!

Best buffet Ive ever been to! Was a little hesitant about the tablet ordering but it was actually pretty neat. Definitely left with a full belly.

Fine dining Pan-Asian all you can eat experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was great and you just order what you want to eat on an Ipad and they would bring the dishes to you.

We ordered 2 individual combos and a side of chow mein for pickup mid afternoon - it was ready in 20min. The food was excellent, Id definitely go back there and recommend to others. We ordered from another Chinese food place during our stay and Kam Lung came out on top.

We haven t had Kamlung for years and totally forgot how good it was. We ordered delivery and it was fast like 30-40 minutes and the food was delicious. We will definitely be ordering from there again in the near future.

Absolutely the best! Every time we have eaten here I have been so impressed. The wait staff are so polite and attentive, they make you feel very comfortable. The sushi is prepared with care and the presentation lets you know they really care about your experience. Best sushi in Brandon.

Nice take out meal.

The plates were rather small but enough for two people since my sister and didnt eat it all. She took the rest home enough for one person. I can see why the portion are not that big, people do waste a lot if food. But if you needed more they will fill up your plate

Had the table served buffet. Food was tasty. It was nice to get lots of small dishes to try a wide variety. Most of the dishes had enough for 1 to 2 servings, perfect for date night.

We absolutely love the food and on a few occasions theyve gone the extra mile. You get so much for your money the portions are very generous. Most notably this mothers day our order came with a beautiful mothers day card signed with a personal thank you for supporting their business. An amazing thoughtful touch that gave my wife and daughters the feels. Wonderful, establishment

we were very excited to try out this place as we had heard of the cool experience with the tablet and buffet. over all we liked 1-2 dishes that came. all of the food tasted old, like it had been cooked days ago. was very dry, and weird tasting. barely finished the food and even that was hard to choke down. the chicken was the worst part. we felt we were going to be sick when we left, will never be back! on another note, if you re looking for good Japanese food check out Sushi Hut on Victoria ave.

Absolutely awful. We have ordered from here before and it was pretty good. But this time it was unedible. The lemon chicken was cut up chicken burger with next to no sauce. The sweet and sour shrimp were fro a box breaded shrimp not even battered. The ungi roll was floating in some kind of hot white sauce. Looked like mushroom soup. Its rare that I rate places but Im super upset that we spent 50 bucks on something so gross. I would not be so upset if it was the first time ordering from here but since I ordered expecting wat we have gotten in the past Im mad. I ve eaten there numerous time so my review is way overdue. Best Asian restaurant in Brandon. Probably whole western Manitoba as well. I ll be back for sure.

I love the food there, especially Chinese food! Those who said Kim s is better might have never tried AUTHENTIC CHINESE food lol

We ordered all you can eat and the food was delicious. Good flavors, and everything came hot. We liked the portions sizes, they were small and perfect for trying lots of different dishes. The sushi rolls were okay - but we found most were very similar in ingredients, and too much sauce. We will eat here again!

Food was ok but they messed up my order and gave me the same curry twice, was overpriced for food that didnt taste fresh

Awesome food and service. With covid going on the food was served at the table on individual dishes. I would prefer this all the time instead of buffet style. Would highly recommend this place.

Food has so much flavour

We always get take out its super fast and delicious! Best Cantonese noodles in town! We always get two orders! Though I noticed that they dont always pack the container as full when I get two but its so good that I dont mind!

Food and service was ok. Chicken and pork little dry. Sushi was good. Price went up quite a bit compared to the old location.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! Hot, fresh and tasty dishes, excellent service and lots of options! My only suggestion, and not a complaint, just a suggestion, but maybe add a few variety plates for the sushi, just to give people a chance to mix it up.

First Time going, server was awesome and friendly from the start, showed us how to use the tablet which was super easy, and the food was fantastic for a date night or group dinner, 10/10 on food! Will be back again

Disappointed overall with our order. The bubble tea was warm when it arrived, the wantons were both over cooked in some parts and under cooked in others. Spicy Salmon sushi wasnt flavourful. Japanese ramen had generic frozen vegetable mix in it (same mix in the fries rice). Brocolli and beef had raw brocolli, barely even blanched let alone cooked. After that many misses on various parts of the menu, I wont be ordering from here again.

Great food, great service!

Was not satisfied with my experience. I was told so many good things about the restaurant and I was very disappointed. My boyfriend and I had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, our server was nice but he didn t seem to be very well trained. Once we were seated out drinks took forever to come, and when they finally did come they were wrong. The pictures on the menu made the food look appetizing, however what we got looked nothing like it. The portion sizes were terrible. We understood that the buffee would have smaller portion sizes, however we were dissatisfied to find one item on each plate. The food tasted terrible and seemed very old and soggy. After eating me and my boyfriend experience symptoms of food poising. The big top off was that our lunch cost 50 dollars, too much for lunch. Would not recommend.

All you can eat is amazing here. They have a long list of foods you can choose from and staff members are super friendly. Space is very big and clean, so never had to wait on line. This place has big windows, so there is lots of natural light. I always take table beside windows FOOD is DELICIOUS

Takeout order was fast and accurate. Large portions great flavor!
