A cute little place - vibes from another time. Very happy with the food and the waitress was wonderful. A good place to grab breakfast before hitting the road!
Okay so this place is so very budget friendly. It might not be the most up to date restaurant and a little chilly in the morning so take a sweater :). But as far as food and Sevice,it’s top notch for half the price of other places. You can have your eggs any way you like and potatoes shredded,cubed,small diced and I know I am missing some lol. But you want a great breakfast that won’t break the bank please try the Chalet. We have been going for years and cannot think of a bad meal ever. Keep up the amazing work Chalet!!
What an amazing breakfast! Eggs the way you like, choice of meat (bacon done to perfection), choice of potato and toast! Top it off with piping hot coffee! All for under $10 taxes included! Try and top that anywhere! Stop in and see for yourself... delicious! We stop every time we are in Brandon (3x a week)
Excellent for breakfast and dinner. Very reasonable prices for excellent food. Not a trendy place, but very good food and friendly service.
Moved to the North Hill in the fall and found this gem. Cheap and great food that will bring you the comfort of a home cooked meal. The home style (I don’t remember if that’s the right name) potatoes are so good. Like… exactly how you want a breakfast potato cooked. I’m also 95% sure that breakfast is served all day… so I recommend that. Also recommend: Breakfast wrap French toast
Bad service. No buttered toast, burnt hash, eggs hard and coffee water ketchup all came 5 minutes apart. Food was returned and came back burnt. I had to pay full price for bad food. Spent 40 minutes their just to leave hungry
Ordered takeout from here this morning. Absolutely the best breakfast..!! Was so surprised that no one was dining in. Come on people support local family ran business. Especially during this pandemic. I had 3 eggs, bacon and sausage, home fried potatoes (both shredded and chunks) for $10.25. If there’s another restaurant that cooks as well as you were home for $10.00 please let me know..!!
I stayed overnight at the Chalet Motel and wandered in here almost by accident. The breakfast special was standard and well priced at $7, but the coffee was on another level. It's amazing, is bottomless, and comes with the special for no extra charge. I'll be coming back for that good cup of joe the next time I get the crazy idea to drive across the country again, and probably every time after that.

Do not eat here they were just fined for unsanitary conditions again and last summer had raw sewage filled basement for 3 months before calling a plumber to deal with it. Very friendly kind folks working there. Just not worth the tetnis shot afterwards!

Four stars for the food and the prices but one (1) star for cleanliness. The floors, carpet, entrance and washrooms were beyond filthy. We almost left but we have eaten here many times years ago so we decided to stay. The food was excellent but the health board needs to get on their ass to clean the place up.

We were passing through town and hungry. Great food and cozy environment. Family owned establishments are always more welcoming. I will go back the next time we re in the area.

Chalet motel and chalet restaurant are near the campground. We found the serving size is pretty good. Nice people running this place.
