With more than 20 pita fillings & 40 toppings to pick from, Pita Pit offers you millions of flavour combinations. Pita Pit was at the forefront of the growing “fresh and healthy” eating revolution, when we opened the first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario near Queen’s University back in 1995. Pita Pit delivered what students, families and young professionals wanted but couldn’t find nearby; an affordable yet great-tasting fresh and healthy alternative to high-fat and high-carb fast food.
The regular size pita (the bigger option) was tiny and they barely put anything. We got the extra cheese option and they didn’t put any extra. They cheaped out extremely on $30 worth of pitas that weren’t even filling.
$15 for a small pita..tasted like the vegetables have gone bad so was pretty much garbage. Asked for extra cheese and didn’t give me any but still charged me for it. Can see why there is never anyone here.
The food can be good! When it’s made by someone who likes working there! Usually the female workers are really rude and cheap/lazy, like throwing veggies on and burning them, or undercooking or when you ask for “extra pickles please” then literally pull one pickle out and place it down, the woman are so rude it honestly ruins going there stopped going there when I would walk in a see a woman there they are so rude and argue with you over simple things like asking to put special sauce on the grill with the veggies and meat and you say please and they sit and argue with you until you basically raise your voice like can you not argue with me and do it please and then get made when you just give up and ask for a refund after they ruin the dining experience, I gave it another chance today after a year of avoiding the woman making the pita and I went today and had them argue about them burning the veggies like they really need some new staff members who aren’t so rude when I go there and the guys is there he’s so happy and great I always leave a tip for him
This restaurant is located right off Hwy 1, on the south side, which was handy for driving through on a road trip. We were expecting to attend another pita joint further into town. This location worked out better. It was a new-build restaurant, and there wasn't a crowd when we attended.
We pulled into town after 2 days of driving. The first place we stopped was here. The food was so good. The employees were so friendly and the place was super clean. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions with confidence.
This is the cleanest pita pit I have been to. The person who is usually working (may be owner) is friendly and helpful and I always leave with my perfect pita (thanks to his suggestion for meatless options). I appreciate how the grill is separated for vegetarian options. He is professional and pleasant.
Delicious food! Especially of you're looking for a healthier type fast food. I Love their options. I wish their service was quicker but we did have a pretty big group of friends so it's a little understandable. Having more than one employer working there would probably do wonders.
Love the experience you get tasted good everytime I come and staff is fast and excellent! They are nice and food is made fast. Staff like to have friendly convos and ask questions about your day. They reccomend there favorites and everything is nicely organized for at ease of consumer!!!
Vegetarian options: Loads of vegetable options Dietary restrictions: They offer whole wheat pita bread Food : 4/5 |
Fast and fresh.
Decent pitas, staff is hit or miss on friendliness, but hey, its not like the job pays good lol. The store is not somewhere Id stay to eat my food, there is no vibe inside.
Please update the hours on your website and on your Google. I placed an order but when I went to pickup you were closed and had different hours posted on your door. I want a refund.
A little pricey for the serving size
Food was good, service seemed rushed and miserable to be there which brought down the atmosphere. The cost of two adults and a child eating was 75$. Come on, be better. Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians.
A guy who made my wrap was very helpful and polite. Very much satisfied with the customer service and my wrap was awesome too
Food was great and service was quick
Vegetarian options: Falafel, black bean & mixed cheese
Normally good fresh food here, concern is the workers are answering phones and using the skip tablet with the same gloves as they are making food. Training needs to be done, cross contamination is happening.
It is a Pita Pit like many others but normally quite quick and always tasty
Great Pita. Love that you get to pick what gets cooked on the grill and what does not. Love all the options. They offer a 10% discount for BU students which is nice.
8.50 for a tiny smoothie. What a rip off. Their regular is the size of a childs cup. Ill never ever spend another dollar their. And anytime I know someone is going there I will go out of my way to tell them how much of a rip off that place is. I threw the drink out and told them what I thought of their $8 petite smoothy. Worst fast food place ever.
Was nice they had a gluten free option for the pita bread
Good amount of food. Great toppings and selection. Pricey but worth it.
Used to love pita pit, last 2 times have been disappointing. Smoothie size and price is absolutely ridiculous and the amount of meat you get is disappointing.
Tasty. So good
Staff were very competent, knew their space and what they were doing, knew their food, and had suggestions for sauces that would go well with the toppings I had put on. And were right, with those suggestions!
Always so delicious I love eating here
So much variety. Loaded pitas, our favourite in Brandon. Were back again and again! Texi mexi pita is tops. Dont forget the grilled turkey, sprouts, Swiss, olives, and teriyaki and aoli sauces. Mmm.
Love it.
I like my pitas, is so cool to have two stores in Brandon. It makes everything much easier and handy.
Nice and cool
Order a brisket bowl on skip that I will be taking to work for lunch so ask for sauce on the side and they give me no sauce so I call and they said they usually put in bowl and charge extra to put on the side also very tiny for 12$ staff were no help at all WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN FROM HERE.
My hubby and I use to frequent Pita Pit at least once a week, but I run my iwn summer business and since they shortened their evening hours, it really didnt fit into our hours. He had the Club Pita and I had the falafel pita both were very good but very much skimped in the fillings.
Pitas overall are decent but quality is poor and overpriced. It especially put me off bc I could see a long dark hair (clearly one of the workers who all had the same hair type and length) in the lettuce bin. The worker could not understand anything I said (asked for a simple chicken pita). Even when speaking louder/ enunciating AND pointing to the items it was a struggle. Pita wasn t horrible but this wouldn t be my first choice due to price and cleanliness.
The gentleman that made my crave tonight was both and artist while creating but grilled the chicken to complete perfection all with a smile. Great Job.
Good food, good portion, great service.
Its like Subway but for pitas. You choose what to want and if you get chicken they will cook it up in sauce so its nice and warm next to your chosen toppings.
Pita was custom built with all fresh ingredients. The boys were friendly and we walked away full. Dont know what else we could hope for
Always a refreshing meal!
Always friendly staff, delicious food and awesomely clean!!
The guy that was making our pitas at the Brandon location was very rude and didn t wear his mask properly. He was throwing everything around, and when we asked him for specifics he would be very short with his answers and wouldn t give us what we wanted. Disappointed, and appetite is completely gone.
I really love pita pit but this was so disappointing. I couldnt even finish my sandwich. Half the sandwich was spinach, which is alot more than normal and I wouldnt have minded if it wasnt wilted and soggy like it was bad. They also put hot sause on my sandwich when I didnt ask for it and all my hot peppers had hard middles that I couldnt chew through :(. Overall I wont be back to this location. My hubbies sub had vinager on it when he asked for no sause. It also had hot sause because she didnt wipe the grill tool after using it on mine. There were pieces of onion mixed in the lettuce so that ended up on his sandwich and he didnt want onions .
Great Pita at a great price
Good food, acceptable prices and friendly staff

Really good but expensive!
Pretty good
Not to bad..
Good food, good service, and a clean restaurant.
Always friendly staff and fast service
The man helping me was very rude, walked out before ordering
Healthy, unique and quick food.. And it was alot of food!
Food was good, but I had an experience I feel I need to share. I placed my order around 6 PM through the website, received my receipt email at 6:04; estimated delivery 6:45. At 6:58 I missed a call from pita pit. Answered again at 7:02. The delivery Driver(Nice guy) explained to me that the business misread the line that my order was delivery, I suppose they assumed it was pickup. He told me I would receive another call shortly. A few moments later, I got a call from the business, which apologized for the delay, but didnt realize my order was for delivery. He also told me that my order would cost more, because the price that I faxed in was not correct.(remember I ordered from their website.) At 7:28 my food arrived. 43 Minutes after expected time, and 84 minutes after I ordered. The food was fine, but not only did my order take twice as long as expected, it cost more than listed on the website, which Im pretty sure you cant do. I was not offered a discount, a meal comp, or even to reduce the price to the price advertised on the website. I didnt ask, but I have no intentions of repeat business. Order # 59172982
Great food
Great place
Always good to eat a Pita !
Very good but yorktons is better
Cheap and cheerful alternative to the big chains. Also a bit more healthy depending on what you pick.
Okay place. The waiter clearly didnt truly care about anything in general, I think. The pitas were mediocre.
This was the Brandon location. Whats to say. Fresh food. Made the way I want it. Never had a bad experience.
Excellent food and staff. It was my first time there but they recommended me the best options. Food was well cooked and healthy.
Good food, decent price
Food was good; service was good. The place was very clean too.
Fast friendly great lunch food
Fast and friendly
Slightly expensive
Pita was fine, but the cashier stole my loyalty points by leaning over the counter and swiping his own card. It was bizarre...
Quick service, excellent selection, healthy food.
Love this place! Very quick, friendly customer service and even tastier food. Both the pitas and smoothies are delicious. It wont disappoint!
Tastes great but gave me food poisoning
Great service great food and excellent staff
Great food. Wonderful staff. Eat here and youll feel good after. No fast food regret.
I was really excited about the mounding veggies waiting for me to put in my pita only to notice that the veggies were all dry (lettuces especially) and the pita itself east steamed and was so dry they couldnt wrap it properly but still gave it to me like that. Very disappointed, was looking forward to this meal for over 150kms.
